🎧 Martin was amazing from day one! He was super professional, brought great energy ⚡, and made sure we had exactly what we wanted for our wedding on 8/23/25 💍. We had a Mexican wedding 🇲🇽 with mariachi 🎺 and banda 🎶, and he worked perfectly alongside them. Martin also MC’d the entire night — from all the traditional dances 💃🕺 to every special moment — and made sure each announcement was perfect. The music was on point 🔥, the energy never dropped, and he helped make our wedding unforgettable ❤️.
As far as budget, his services were right within our price range 💰, and it was definitely worth every penny. Highly recommend DJ Martin for any event! 🙌 -

Martin (aka DJ Mayhem) really helped us accomplish our dream wedding with VERY little time to prepare and I'm still not sure how he pulled it off. The day of our wedding was absolute chaos due to lack of preparation, last minute changes and concerns over weather but Martin kept his composure while delivering an incredible experience and also being considerate to my family's requests. Our ceremony sounded amazing along with great cocktail hour vibes and our reception was so much fun due to Martin's incredible DJing talents. His experience really showed both on the ceremony side and the entertainment side, that's why he was the MVP of our event. If you're looking for a DJ/event master to deliver a reliable and fun experience, look no further. -

We cannot recommend Martin enough! He came highly recommended by a friend who had seen him at multiple weddings, and now we understand why. From the very beginning, he was great to work with, reasonably priced, flexible, and completely stress-free during the planning process. He even offered to create a full timeline for our reception if we needed it, which shows how much he goes above and beyond.
One of the most important things for us was finding a DJ who could blend Mexican music and culture with classic American wedding music, since our families come from different backgrounds. We worried about keeping the dance floor full with such a mix of styles, but Martin handled it effortlessly. He seamlessly transitioned between genres and kept the energy high all night long. Just as importantly, he made all announcements in both Spanish and English, which was a huge deal for our bilingual guest list and made everyone feel included.
Martin wasn’t just an incredible DJ. He made sure the flow of the night was perfect, that speeches and dances transitioned smoothly, and he was always checking in to make sure we (the bride and groom) were taken care of and had drinks in hand. His thoughtfulness and professionalism helped make our wedding the amazing celebration we dreamed of.
If you’re looking for a wedding DJ who will not only keep the party going but also seamlessly blend cultures and languages, Martin is your guy. We are so grateful we found him and would 100% recommend him to anyone planning their big day! -

The Best DJ!
We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! Martín from Dazzle Events was incredible from start to finish. He interacted so well with our guests and kept the energy going all night. Mexican and Indian reception
Martin was introduced to us by Dj Miriam to coordinate our reception! These two absolutely killed it together. Manish & I couldn't be more confident beforehand in these two's abilities in making our night super memorable. Martin has worked the logistics of all our needs since the very start of our wedding planning. Martin and Miriam knew how important It was to incorporate Indian music and beats into our Mexican themed reception. Martin has all sorts of amazing lighting, accesories, innovative ideas, and mixes the crowd adored. Martin saved the night many times by helping us cross out little events we originally wanted to help keep the flow moving in a timely manner during the same night. I hope we continue crossing paths with Martin and Miriam much past this event to continue supporting what they do. We love to party and the party was definitely delivered. If you're reading this Martin/Miriam we hope you reach the stars and moon with your sets alongside one another!! Just call us and we will be there! Love forever -Aimee & Manish -

Several guests asked us that night, "Where did you find this DJ?!" while they kept dancing nonstop. Easily the most asked question of the night - the good songs just did not stop! People loved the selection of songs that the next day the feedback was wishing he'd play a "not great song" so guests could run to the bathroom then back to the dance floor.
Martin was helpful in catering the music to both our tastes and also being respectful of songs/artists we did not want to include. His set up was great and added to the dance floor ambiance. He met with us twice before the wedding to make sure he had all the information and small details that honestly, neither of us thought about. Since we didn't have many traditional things in our wedding, he was helpful in still incorporating some aspects such as first dance with both songs we love, a family dance instead of father/daughter mother/son, etc.
It was important to us that music was played that appealed to both our tastes and our guests and somehow he included songs across music genres and languages - Chappell Roan to Bad Bunny to Selena to Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and beyond. While we only had Martin for the dancing portion of our wedding, I can only imagine the energy and excitement he would bring to other areas of a wedding.

I can't say enough good things about having Martin DJ our wedding. He was very professional through the whole process and was very dilligent about making sure he knew all the details of the ceremony, dinner, guest arrival, reception and dancing so we had the right vibe the entire time. Martin traveled from Chicago to our wedding in Indiana and killed it for the pre-wedding, ceremony, cocktail hour vibes, and most importantly the reception.
Not only was the music and mixing on point, but Martin was also very organized and played a key role in keeping wedding activities on track and making sure all the small things you wouldn't even think about were perfect. Not to mention all the professionalism and planning before the wedding day.
Long story short, we would 100% recommend Martin for anyone on their special day for his high level of detail planning/professionalism paired with his ability to keep people on the dance floor - he is definitely a pro!

Absolutely Killed It!!
We hosted our wedding in September 2024.
Martin was amazing to work with from the start. We utilized his service for the ceremony through dancing. He provided us with planning sites that allowed us to put day of schedule in and all our song requests. He was on top of things with scheduling meetings so we can coordinate ahead of time. Not only was this super helpful for us, he followed it to perfection on our wedding day.
Our biggest want for our wedding was to keep the dance floor going all night. Martin killed it!!
We had some many compliments the next day about how great the music was and how much everyone enjoyed dancing all night. We also brought in Martin's teammate DG Sax to open the dance floor with a Saxophonist. DG Sax and Martin played together for an hour and it was amazing! I cannot say enough great things about Dazzle Events! -

Martin was recommended to us by a friend who attended another wedding that he performed at. For our introduction call, he was prepared, listened and gave feedback based on what we were looking for. We spoke to a ton of DJs in the area and Martin gave us the reassurance that he would execute everything we asked for. I was very particular about the music and on the day of, he made everything so easy. I had nothing to worry about. He over-delivered by playing every song we asked for with the right timing. He mixed the songs so that nothing dragged on and observed what would get the crowd going. The night went by too fast & a big part of that was because Martin made it so fun! Many of our guests came up to us saying that the music was incredible! Thank you Martin SO MUCH for making this process so easy & fun! -

We loved Martin and how easy he was to work with! Highly recommend! From the start of planning to the couple days before the wedding he was always easy to get in contact with. The planning website was easy to use to put our song requests in for introductions, dinner and reception . He played everything we wanted him to and kept the dance floor going. We are in our early 30s- we like all kinds of music and he nailed it. From classic Italian dinner music to remixed 80s hits, our favorite 90s pop/punk songs, to top 40 bangers the whole night was amazing. The cold sparks and "walking on clouds" were a hit. We used the cold sparks all night! He also worked seamlessly with the saxophone and violinist we hired for dinner and reception. Nothing I would change! Also not to mention he was super accommodating asking if we needed anything extra sound system wise for our cocktail hour or for our ceremony earlier( we did not need him for ceremony but he provided an extra microphone for our violinist). We can't wait to see him again at our friends wedding in September! We had other friends use him as well prior to our wedding. -

More than just a DJ!
Martin was great from the beginning to end. He was extremely organized and very attentive as we met a few times reviewing our song choices and timeline before the wedding. He followed the timeline perfectly and even offered to help with little things such as getting us drinks when we sat down. Everyone was on the dance floor until the end of the night and our dance floor was MASSIVE. He even pulled us on stage and the crowd absolutely loved it. It’ll be a moment we remember forever. We highly recommend Martin if you want your family and friends to be dancing all night and not having to worry about the what the DJ will play next. He absolutely reads the room! -

Our dance floor was full until the very last song!! My husband and I were looking for a DJ that would understand our tastes and the music preferences of our guest list – a mix of a lot of Pop, some Spanish hits, a touch of Country, a little Disco, and some Classics to get everyone dancing. Dazzle Events made our reception come alive and we're so glad we chose them to be part of our big day. Martin listened to all of our expectations, took all of our requests, and set the perfect tone for our wedding. If we had a specific request the night-of, he made it happen without missing a beat. We just had our wedding on 7/22/23 and worked with Dazzle Events - it was the best decision we could have made for our wedding!
My now husband and I were extremely nervous deciding on a DJ because we knew how important it is to have someone who knew what they were doing.
Martin EXCEEDED our expectations!
Martin was professional from the very beginning and always very responsive. He followed our timeline and he made sure to respect our requests, such as speaking both English and Spanish and incorporating specific dances from our culture. He had smooth song transitions, provided recommendations when we needed other vendors and he has up lights, lighting, and sparklers which were great to add on in order to not have to seek out an additional vendor. He did an amazing job being the MC and he truly takes into consideration all the little details that we as the bride and groom did not even consider to think about.
Some of my guests have said, “I wanted to get off the dance floor but he kept playing bangers” “the DJ had the dance floor full the whole night.” “I danced all night through the last song” “If I didn’t already have my DJ for my wedding, I would hire him.”

Martin was amazing! From the first conversation, to the planning, & to the final song of the night, he was an absolute pleasure to work with. This is LONG overdue but I really wanted to take a moment to thank Martin for everything he did on our big day! Martin was extremely organized and professional since day one and I truly appreciated that so much because wedding planning is a crazy time for everyone and having someone attentive and following up is so important. He made the planning process so seamless.
For our wedding day, I cannot thank him enough for going above and beyond to make sure our day went as smooth as possible! Everything was so organized, speeches, dances, announcements and most importantly, the party was LIT! Martin was very attentive and if it wasn't for him some things could have gone south but he stayed on top of everything even while keeping the dancefloor alive and he managed to stay in communication with us the whole time. He worked closely with our Mariachi and even plugged them into his sound system which I truly appreciated because it was one less thing to worry about. Martin, we cannot be more appreciative of everything you did for us on our big day.
If you are on the hunt for a DJ this is your guy, to say he goes above and beyond is an understatement.

The best wedding DJ in all of Chicago!
Martin truly helped make our wedding the best party of 2022. Not only did he fit our vibe perfectly, he was on top of all the planning and organizing from the very start. At a wedding which we combined Colombian and Mexican culture, Martin worked with us to make sure he was well versed in regional music and had the perfect idea of what we wanted for our big day. He was punctual, collaborative, and we appreciated how seriously he took this event. As a queer couple, he worked with us to ensure correct pronouns in his languaging and was intentional in how he referred to us as newlyweds. We are still getting compliments from our guests about our wedding music, y’all. Thank you, Martin, for the work you put into our wedding - you are a 5 star, 10/10, home-run-artist who we would work with again in a heartbeat. -

Where do I even begin?! Our experience with Martin from the start was amazing. He was the first DJ we spoke to and after that conversation we 100% knew we wanted to work with him. His professional, caring, and enthusiastic demeanor said it all for us. We knew he was passionate about his work and passion is what we needed. Martin was super responsive with any and all questions leading up to our wedding day. Fast forward to the big day.. HE WAS PERFECTION and truly went above and beyond!!! From nailing each song minute mark we needed for our ceremony, to working with us on our cocktail hour and dinner playlist to being the highlight of everyones night at the reception - the dance floor was NEVER empty. He was also very helpful when it came to setting up the venue day of. The amount of compliments we received after the wedding on Martin was incredible - I cannot recommend him enough!! -

Dazzle Events were great to work with from beginning to end! They were easy to reach and quick to respond with any questions or concerns we had. They listened and took detailed notes of our requests and thoughts, as well as gave suggestions when we requested them. We were very picky about our music and had specific genres in mind for different parts of the night and well as specific timings for certain songs for dances and entrances. All of these requests and requirements were delivered successfully and without issue. Throughout the night we had zero corrections or mistakes made, everything was executed flawlessly. I cannot express enough how happy we are we went with Dazzle Events for our wedding. They truly took in our vision and we had endless amounts of compliments on the music from all our guests that night. We will absolutely be reaching out to them again for future events. -

Martin was great! He made the process so easy and that I didn't need to worry a thing. His huge playlist had all my favorite songs (ie. Brittaney Spears, Bruno Mars and NSYNC). Everyone came to me complimenting the music being played at the wedding. Martin is very knowledgeable, fun to work with, and someone who truly cares. If I have another wedding, I would def have him as my DJ again :) Highly recommend DJ Martin!
