Rev. DeKornfeld officiated our wedding exactly the way we wanted. He understood exactly what we needed to be incorporated into our special day. We not only had our best friends attend our wedding, but Jim became a part of our family in his own special way. His ability to understand and know us with the short amount of time I put on him is uncanny.Daybreak Ceremonies's reply:

Exceptional
We were married by Jim in May 2023 and could not have had a better experience. He took the time getting to know us, revised our ceremony until it was absolutely everything we wanted it to be. He was available for our rehearsal dinner, was able to answer all our questions and walked us through what we needed to know. The Wedding Day came, and everything was incredibly professional and personal to us, we had many guests complimenting how beautiful and heartfelt the ceremony was, it was all thanks to Jim!Daybreak Ceremonies's reply:

Small Intimate Wedding Ceremony
Jim was so wonderful to work with. He agreed to help us out last minute and we are so grateful. He met with us and after talking with him he promptly put together a personal and sincere ceremony. He was flexible and prompt, we really could not have had our day go well without him. He was so personable and truly listened to what we wanted in our ceremony. Rev. DeKornfeld not only helped us prepare a ceremony that was meaningful to us, but he also adapted that ceremony as our plans changed to the format of a virtual wedding. It was everything we wanted in a ceremony and provided a chance to share our story with our family that watched from across the country. Jim made my husband and I's wedding day on 10/09/2021 at The Evermore in Apex NC so incredibly special. He wrote the perfect ceremony for us and we could not have asked for a better way to start our marriage. Jim is the best!
All I asked of him was to make the ceremony lighthearted and fun. He went above and beyond to make the ceremony exactly what I wanted and was great at communicating and making sure we had plenty of time to look over everything and to add any input on the speech. He was so funny and I couldn't stop smiling the entire ceremony. He is a man that wears many hats because he also had such sweet words added in that described exactly how I was feeling so perfectly and made sure that my dad who passed away was mentioned in such a beautiful way! Best decision we made! Oh, not to mention he drove from 1 hour away as well! Absolutely so happy! Thank you so much Jim! Definitely recommend 100 percent :)Daybreak Ceremonies's reply:

My fiancé and I were going back on forth on if we "needed" an officiant or if we should just get a friend to do it. Trust me when I say, go ahead and book the professional, it makes all the difference. Jim did an amazing job. He was very prompt in responding to emails and phone calls. We spoke with Jim and he had us fill out a questionnaire. From our answers, he developed a ceremony draft. We would send it back and forth with edits until ultimately it became our final ceremony. The final product was literally perfect. It captured all of our emotions and fit who my fiancé and I were as individuals and as a couple. The way Jim delivered the speech, it seemed as if he had known us for years and watched us develop our relationship into love. Guests would come up to us at the reception and ask if Jim was a family friend because the ceremony was so personal and touching. Thank you Jim for the incredible job. You made us laugh, you made us cry, you brought out the emotions in us and made our ceremony the best part of our wedding.Daybreak Ceremonies's reply:

A perfect ceremony
Jim created a wonderful ceremony for us and was very open and flexible to any changes and ideas we asked to make our ceremony perfect for us. He recommended a sand ceremony to symbolically create our new family and it was a beautiful and meaningful part of our day. He was kind, easy to work with and prompt. We are a Covid couple and were originally to be married by a friend of ours who lives in NY. 3 weeks prior to our wedding date, our friend had to tell us he could no longer attend nor perform our wedding due to restrictions. We scrambled to find a Minister at our late date and came across Jim. The first conversation I had with Jim I knew he was perfect for our ceremony. An open minded Christian who truly loves what he does and it shows!! Jim was able to get to know my husband and I over the following 3 weeks and created a ceremony that was personal, funny and touching. We recommend Jim to anyone in the Pinehurst/Southern Pines area!!!Daybreak Ceremonies's reply:

Jim is simply the best. When looking for an officiant, we didn't really know where to start but we are SO grateful that we found Jim. From the first intro phone call, Jim was honest and sincere and easy to talk to. He made some great suggestions to help make our ceremony even more special and intimate. We were BLOWN AWAY when we read the first draft of our ceremony. He captured my husband and I's relationship so perfectly. We really could not have asked for a better officiant and would recommend Jim to anyone!!
