Rev. DeKornfeld officiated our wedding exactly the way we wanted. He understood exactly what we needed to be incorporated into our special day. We not only had our best friends attend our wedding, but Jim became a part of our family in his own special way. My fiancé and I were going back on forth on if we "needed" an officiant or if we should just get a friend to do it. Trust me when I say, go ahead and book the professional, it makes all the difference. Jim did an amazing job. He was very prompt in responding to emails and phone calls. We spoke with Jim and he had us fill out a questionnaire. From our answers, he developed a ceremony draft. We would send it back and forth with edits until ultimately it became our final ceremony. The final product was literally perfect. It captured all of our emotions and fit who my fiancé and I were as individuals and as a couple. The way Jim delivered the speech, it seemed as if he had known us for years and watched us develop our relationship into love. Guests would come up to us at the reception and ask if Jim was a family friend because the ceremony was so personal and touching. Thank you Jim for the incredible job. You made us laugh, you made us cry, you brought out the emotions in us and made our ceremony the best part of our wedding.Daybreak Ceremonies's reply:
It’s incredibly satisfying to take the information I learn from the couple to create the first draft of the ceremony. It’s even more satisfying when the couple’s feedback and editing vastly improve the first draft. Jim made our wedding day so incredibly special and personalized. He is a true professional in this industry, and could not have been more prepared. From start to finish: he listened, was patient and informative, incredibly kind, and made our ceremony exactly what we wanted. He even offers handfasting, which I jumped at, and it was an absolutely stunning addition to our ceremony.
Jim is the sweetest man, and was BORN to be an officiant! I cannot put into words just how extraordinary he is, and how intimate and sacred he made our wedding day. It was everything and more that we could have ever dreamed of. We are forever grateful for Jim, and look forward to using him again for a vow renewal in a few years!

Jim made my husband and I's wedding day on 10/09/2021 at The Evermore in Apex NC so incredibly special. He wrote the perfect ceremony for us and we could not have asked for a better way to start our marriage. Jim Saved the Day!!
We are a Covid couple and were originally to be married by a friend of ours who lives in NY. 3 weeks prior to our wedding date, our friend had to tell us he could no longer attend nor perform our wedding due to restrictions. We scrambled to find a Minister at our late date and came across Jim. The first conversation I had with Jim I knew he was perfect for our ceremony. An open minded Christian who truly loves what he does and it shows!! Jim was able to get to know my husband and I over the following 3 weeks and created a ceremony that was personal, funny and touching. We recommend Jim to anyone in the Pinehurst/Southern Pines area!!!Daybreak Ceremonies's reply:

Rev. DeKornfeld not only helped us prepare a ceremony that was meaningful to us, but he also adapted that ceremony as our plans changed to the format of a virtual wedding. It was everything we wanted in a ceremony and provided a chance to share our story with our family that watched from across the country.
