Shawna and Lisa were the absolute BEST!!! Made my day so carefree! If there were any hiccups, I didn’t hear about them, which is exactly how you want to spend your wedding day.
I opted to use Daydream Events for Day of Coordinator services & for their Photo Booth. Shawna & Lisa kept the day completely on track, moved flowers for us throughout the ceremony and reception, made sure everything was in place and absolutely perfect, brought me my veil and flowers whenever they were needed for photos, & went above and beyond ensuring we had the drinks we wanted at our table during dinner!
They helped arrange our large bridal party at the rehearsal, which was extremely helpful! There are so many things we would have never thought about, but Shawna and Lisa made them happen & went above and beyond to ensure the day went perfectly! So grateful they were there to help with setting up at the beginning of the day and packing up at the end of the night. So many things would have been missed without their help!
Cannot recommend Daydream Events enough!!!! -

If you are planning a wedding in the Tahoe or Reno area, hire Shawna—don’t even think twice. She served as our day-of coordinator and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Throughout the planning process, she was incredibly professional and replied to emails quickly, which provided so much peace of mind.
On the day itself, she adapted to changing plans with total ease, handling every variation like she’d seen it 100 times before. Beyond her expertise, her rates are extremely fair for the high level of service and the rentals she offers. She was instrumental in making our day run smoothly! -

I met Shawna at a wedding fair and her relaxed but sharp energy caught my eye. Throughout the whole process she helped me feel like I was getting everything organized on schedule and was available for a quick call here and there for me to stress to her. Shawna was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, she was super communicative and responsive, making the planning process so easy and stress-free. She idd an amazing job making sure our wedding was everything I could have dream of! The reception and venue site were absolutely stunning! Shawna handled all of the set up and take down, which was a huge relief. Her catalog for rentals is extensive and would definitely recommend you utilize!! We highly recommend Shawna to any couple planning their wedding! We will definitely use her in the future for any further events/parties we have! -

DayDream Events was a great coordination service. Shawna was very knowledgeable about weddings and helped us get everything together as the owner, Jessica and Lisa were our day of coordinators and it went very smooth. I didn’t have any worries or concerns leading to the wedding or day of. I would recommend them over and over again. -

The best of the best!
Shawna at Daydream Events is truly phenomenal. From the second I spoke to her about my daughter’s wedding, she made everything so smooth and easy. She gave the best advice and her and the entire team brought my daughter’s vision to life and it was perfect! There was never a question that she didn’t help me with. The day of the wedding, the staff made it so I had zero stress and they handled everything perfectly. We had some weather challenges and they adapted on the fly, so we didn’t miss a beat. I would recommend Daydream Events to anyone having a wedding. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! -

10/10!! I would use Shawna 100x over again. Our wedding this past weekend was everything we wanted and more, and Shawna made sure everything went as planned!! We had a rather large wedding and she managed it wonderfully. From the rehearsal, to set up, to take down, she did it all! She even personally helped me tie up my dress when the bustles broke. She was professional and also fun. Leading up to our wedding she was easy to get ahold of and answered all our questions. We can not thank her enough for all that she did to make our wedding day amazing. Thank you Shawna so much!! -

Shawna, Lisa and Jessica were absolutely instrumental in helping us put together our big day. They started setting up 5 hours before the ceremony and made sure all the little details were taken care of. We hired her for her photobooth services as well and Jessica did an incredible job of taking photos on polaroids and also on cell phones so there was a digital version as well!
Shawna was incredibly organized from the beginning and the timeline was seamless because of her. We had a complicated wedding day but there was nothing we could throw at her that she could not handle.
I would 100% hire her again and I recommend her to anyone who needs a wedding coordinator. You will not regret it! -

Shawna made our wedding perfect
You cannot underestimate the importance of a good wedding planner. Shawna is without doubt one of the best.
First of all, Shawna took the time to get to know us. Because of this, our wedding was tailored perfectly to us. We spoke frequently including meeting on site.
Shawna assisted us with all our vendors, in selection, and more importantly, coordinating the day off. She worked within our budget, recommending areas to spend more and items to spend less on. She had plenty of support staff for set up, serving, and take-down. The end product was a perfect afternoon and memorable afternoon for us and our guests. Our wedding and reception remained on time and went flawlessly. Additionally, Shawna was our officiant. As stated, she got to know us, so the ceremony was personal and poignant.
Thank you Shawna for all your insight, support, and most of all, your friendship. Our day was perfect. Our guests will also concur. You’re absolutely the best, both as a planner, and as a person

Count this as a glowing review for Shawna! I originally wasn’t going to hire a coordinator, but boy was I glad we decided to go with Shawna! She was so fun to work with, took care of setting up our decor and was so helpful when inevitably deviations from our plan came up. Most helpful was her coming up with a plan for the deluge of rain that began 2 hours before our ceremony. She listened to our preferences for what we cared about and ultimately helped us pull off a beautiful, umbrella covered ceremony. Of course the rain stopped right as our ceremony finished, just in time for pictures! Shawna also made sure we were fed and had drinks, kept our wedding party organized, and was so so efficient about cleaning everything up at the end of the night and packing it away. Our wedding was so above expectations and everyone who interacted with Shawna was so impressed and happy to have her helping out. The theme of the day when things came up was “Shawna will help us figure it out”. Thank you Shawna!! -

As a type A bride, I couldn't have been more grateful to have someone as great as Shawna as our day of coordinator! She handled everything and all my stresses were gone the day of our wedding.
Shawna handled our timeline very well-- always leading me from point A to point B while being in contact with the vendors and the wedding party. She kept me hydrated and fed, and she always knew where my things were when I needed them.
Our wedding was at Whitney Peak, and set up was a breeze. All our family had to do was drop the decor off to to Shawna, and she handled all the rest. She also took care of our gifts and special decorations after the wedding. Everything was waiting for us neatly in our hotel suite.
It was the perfect day and we have Shawna to thank for so much of that! -

My 60th class reunion from Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, CA. Shawna and her staff helped make the reunion a party to remember. She recommended quality vendors that were reasonable priced for tables, chairs, linens to food caterers.
Everyone attending were impressed. I will definitely recommend Shawna and her company again -

Our wedding was on August 22, 2025, and while the day itself turned out beautiful thanks to our family and friends, I unfortunately can’t say the same about our experience with Shawna as our coordinator. Starting with the rehearsal dinner, I had taken time to create custom name tags for each guest’s place setting. When I looked over, Shawna couldn’t find a few tags (even though there were enough for everyone) and instead flipped some over and handwrote names on the back. It looked messy, cheap, and unprofessional, and I ended up having to fix it myself before dinner even started. On the wedding day, communication and execution were major issues. I didn’t hear from Shawna all morning, so I assumed everything was going smoothly. When I arrived, however, none of the details I had outlined in the shared Google Doc had been handled. Shawna arrived late and simply didn’t have enough time to complete the setup. Champagne flutes weren’t out or poured, the ceremony fans weren’t placed on benches, signage wasn’t hung, and overall setup was incomplete. My bridesmaids and their husbands ended up doing much of the work—something that should never happen when a coordinator has been hired to manage those details. I am so embarrassed by this. Throughout the day, Shawna repeatedly seemed unprepared or unaware of key details I had already provided in writing. She asked where the seating chart was moments before the ceremony. The drink clips for cocktail hour were never put out, and the boutonnieres and corsages weren’t distributed or pinned on anyone in my family... During the reception, there were no cues for the bouquet toss or garter toss, even though they were on the timeline. When it came time for our first dances, music started playing and I had to coordinate my own father-daughter and first dance because Shawna was nowhere to be found. Finally, there was no announcement about the after-party buses or transportation home, which left guests confused and disorganized at the end of the night. Overall, I genuinely don’t know what we paid for. I had provided extremely clear instructions and expectations, but almost none of them were followed. The lack of preparation, communication, and attention to detail was deeply disappointing.
