Thank you so much to Crystal at Dawn Rose Makeup Artistry for such an AMAZING job on my wedding day! I used Crystal for makeup services on my wedding day and my entire Bridal Party and mother looked INCREDIBLE! I was a COVID bride, and Crystal was always super flexible with my change of locations and times! She was on time and worked efficiently to get everyone done quickly, without any loss to the quality of her craft. She was able to get a sense of my style and effortlessly put together a look that I LOVED! I am always nervous about doing lots of makeup since I never wear it in my daily life, but she made my makeup look natural, yet glamorous, and it looks amazing in pictures too! It was everything I could have wanted and more! I felt so beautiful and my makeup stayed put all day and night (even in the rain)! My bridesmaids even jumped in the pool with their makeup on at night, and their makeup was still on even afterwards! Perfect, relaxing and beautiful!

Dawn's team was amazing. During the trial we did a few different hair styles and makeup options. Dawn was responsive and super flexible with last minute additions before the wedding. The day of they arrived right on time and finished promptly before photos. Everyone loved their hair and makeup. Even though the humidity destroyed most of our hair styles by the end of the night they held up through most of the party. They even saved the day by staying a bit later to do the mother of the groom's hair last minute. I would definitely recommend!

Beautiful hair and make up!

Melissa and Crystal did hair and make up for myself, 5 bridesmaids, my mom, and 2 flower girls. All I can say is that everyone loves threat hair and make up. They looked absolutely beautiful!

Dawn and her team did a fantastic job for the hair and make up on my wedding day. Dawn is so much fun to talk to and was really helpful throughout the entire process. Thanks to Crystal, Eddie, and Marilyn my ladies and I looked absolutely incredible on my wedding day. I would definitely suggest doing airbrush, my make up lasted throughout the entire evening. There is no way to explain just how amazing Dawn Rose and her girls were on my wedding day. Dawn was amazing to work with and responded to my emails promptly. Crystal, Chase, and Catherine were FANTASTIC!! They started makeup at 7:30am and finished at exactly 10:30am, just as Dawn reassured me since my photographer was coming at 10:45am. Just to put this into perspective that was 11 bridesmaids, 2 moms and a bride who all ABSOLUTELY LOVED their makeup. I would highly recommend Dawn Rose to all future brides!!

I got married in April. Dawn and her team were AMAZING. I first met Dawn's team when I was a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding (they did full hair and makeup), and I just knew I had to have her for mine. I'm half Black half Indian, and was worried about having a team that could accommodate different skin tones and hair types. All of my bridesmaids looked FLAWLESS and I couldn't be happier. During our trial, my mom and I actually weren't totally in love with our hair and makeup, but I shared my concerns with Dawn and on the wedding morning we looked perfect. I would highly recommend you choose Dawn Rose for your hair needs. I really liked that Dawn Rose advertised her pricing – it made me comfortable to know that information up front. I chose her largely because of that and also because of her many positive reviews. I am very happy that I booked with this company, as I absolutely loved my hair on my wedding day. Marilyn is a hair styling goddess. My hair was more gorgeous than any other hair style that I have ever seen. Loved the airbrush makeup and highly recommend it. I did not have to touch up my foundation at all! It's worth the extra money. Dawn also did an amazing job on my eye makeup. I was recommended by a co-worker to use Melissa for my hair. It came out beautiful just like the trial. The twisted part in the back even lasted till the end of the night with all the dancing and jumping around on the dance floor :)

I cannot say enough good things about Dawn Rose! Dawn was a pleasure to work with from my first email to following up with me after the wedding, she was professional and always got back to me right away! Dawn was my make up artist the day of my wedding and from the moment I met her for my trial, I was so confident that I was going to feel so beautiful on my big day! She understood my vision and what I wanted perfectly. She even offered me a second trial down the road when I wanted to test out a new look I saw. Dawn, was very patient and understanding throughout my whole experience. She always made sure every touch that was added was perfect. My hair stylist that day was Melissa. Melissa was amazing to work with. She made my hair look perfect. After she finished my hair she even added more touches when I asked how something would look. Melissa made sure every detail of my hair was perfect. I felt like a princess that day, all thanks to Dawn and Melissa. Crystal worked closely with most of my bridesmaids making their makeup look flawless. All of my bridesmaids raved about how much they loved their make up and hair as well. Dawn and her team were absolutely fabulous. My bridesmaids and I went to their intimate studio in Matawan and they were prompt, listened to all of their suggestions and requests and did their best to please all the girls. Our hair and makeup last all night long, and some even into the next morning! Would highly recommend Dawn!

I can not say enough good things about Dawn's Girls. I had a consultation with Marilyn (hair) and Catherine (makeup) months in advance and went in with one idea and did a completely different idea the day of. The ladies were so nice and amazing in making everything work. They knocked out 10 ladies in 5.5 hours and did touchups when needed and had us all ready for pre ceremony pictures ahead of schedule! I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.

Crystal did my makeup for my May 20th wedding and I cannot say enough good things about her. Every person was beyond happy with her work, and she listened to every single request that we each had. She was such a calm presence during the craziness of the morning too! I got back a few pictures from our photographer, and as I've been sending them to people they always comment on how amazing my makeup looks. I wanted to look natural, like a prettier version of myself, and that's EXACTLY what Crystal did. I wish I had more reasons to book her! Would recommend her in a heartbeat!!

We booked Dawn and her team for hair and make up for our May 6th wedding and I'm so glad we did. She did an absolute PERFECT job on everyone's make up and Melissa a perfect job on everyone's hair. Everything was seamless from the trial to the day of. What was great was they came on location to our hotel, which made the flow of the day so much easier. I found Dawn Rose through one of the girls at the hair salon I go to. There was a mishap in scheduling and the girl originally doing my makeup was no longer available and referred me to Dawn. Since my wedding was a month away, I text Dawn right away and she immediately responded. I was extremely happy when she said she had someone available for my date. I had my makeup trial a couple of weeks later and I couldn't be any happier. Anna did an amazing job during the trial and my husband (who hates when I wear makeup) said I looked beautiful. This made me even more confident with how I would look my wedding day. Anna was early and started on my bridesmaids right away with the minimal space we had. All of the girls looked beautiful and, of course, I felt like a princess with flawless skin all thanks to Anna. I definitely recommend their services to all brides and my one bridesmaid who is getting married in 2 years plans on using their services.

Dawn and her team did an absolutely phenomenal job for my 8 bridesmaids and Mother of the Bride hair and make up looks! The girls all looked amazing, and were very happy with how their hair and make up came out. Dawn did an incredible job on my make up - I did airbrush make up for the first time and I did not even need to touch anything up all day. They arrived at my house very timely the morning of the wedding and were so nice and accommodating throughout the whole booking process and the day of the wedding. I recently got married last weekend and wanted to express how fantastic Dawn, Pina, and Anna were for the hair and makeup for us! My bridesmaids all raved about how much they loved their looks and I couldn't have been happier. Dawn did my makeup for my trial and for the day of and I loved it so much-- I was bawling my eyes out during my wedding and I still looked flawless! Also, Anna is a magician, all of our hair still looked great, especially I know with certain hair types curls tend to falk after a while but ours looked fantastic even until the next day. I first met Dawn when my sister was searching for a makeup artist for her wedding over 3 years ago. Upon completing the initial makeup trial, my sister was sold. My sister's makeup was absolutely stunning on her big day. I was the maid of honor and have never felt more beautiful than I did that day...until my wedding of course! Since then, I kept Dawn's contact information and called her as soon as I booked our wedding date. Dawn is a wonderful person and an amazing makeup artist. I am so thrilled that I found Dawn Rose Artistry Hair and Make Up. Dawn did my make up for the trial and my day of and both times she outdid herself. I loved how soft and natural it all looked and felt. Airbrushing is the way to go. Nothing smudged, smeared and the make up held up for 10 hours. What a fantastic feat that was. She was so easy to work with and comfortable to be around and chat with. Marilyn did my hair and am so thankful she did. She was a last minute miracle (2 weeks before my wedding my initial hair stylist backed out) Dawn came through and it was like fate. My hair for the trial was awesome, she is so quick and thorough, checking it at all the right angles to see how it looks. On my big day it looked just as perfect, 10x secured in because my hair can be stubborn. She also showed my girls how to take out the veil without ruining any of the updo. My hair lasted through the night and even the next morning the curls stayed nicely and the braid held up so I had a cute morning after bun look. Couldn't have asked for 2 better women to work with for my hair and make up on my wedding day.

Dawn and her team were absolutely amazing! They made my entire bridal party look amazing and were so easy to work with. I ended up changing the hair completely from the trial to the day of and Marilyn was so accommodating. She did my hair exactly how I had pictured it. The makeup that Dawn did for me was stunning and made me feel so beautiful. Not only are they so good at what they do but they have a great energy which is SO important on that day. I can't thank Dawn and Marilyn for making myself, my mother and my girls gorgeous on my wedding day enough. Marilyn who did my hair, did exactly what I wanted. I showed her a picture when I went for my trial and she blew me away. I knew I had to have her. The day of my wedding, she made my hair look amazing and just what I envisioned. Dawn, also made me look flawless. I felt like I had no make up on as well. I usually become really shiny after a few hours but the whole night I was good. The make up stayed all night without any reapplying. You girls rock! I 100% recommend them if you need makeup or hair done for any event.

Dawn did mine and my bridal party's make up and do say I was happy would be an understatement. I have never felt so beautiful in my life and more then one of my bridal party members commented that their make up has never been done better. Dawn is quick, listens well, and is very calm and easy to be around. I also used her hair stylist and LOVED my hair. Both my make-up and hair lasted the entire day and my makeup even made it until breakfast the next morning :). If you are in the NJ area Dawn is a no-brainer. I just got my pictures back and I continue to be BLOWN AWAY with how great and natural I look in even the August heat!

Dawn, Marilyn, Crystal and Melissa were absolutely fabulous and worth every penny. I had a total of 26 services to be done by 2pm-- 13 hair and 13 make-up. The women with Dawn Rose Make-up Artistry and Hair were a godsend. They arrived early, which set the entire day off on a calm note. They were organized, neat, friendly, patient, fun and, above all, talented. Several bridesmaids commented IMMEDIATELY that the team was the most talented group they had ever seen. We had a long day and the hair and make-up stayed almost flawless for 15 hours, which the exception of a few strands coming loose and some lipstick smearing as we ate (that's to be expected, Dawn can't defy gravity!) Dawn was a rock of confidence and humor throughout, always assuring me we were on time and never once complaining if a girl asked for a make-up touch-up prior to leaving for the event.

Over the past year I did two trials with Dawn and Marilyn (my mom did one as well) and I had Marilyn put in tape-in extensions for me the week before the wedding (highly recommended). I got to know Dawn and the company well and have no reservations recommending them for any event and PARTICULARLY for those events with large bridal parties. They are capable, talented, and easy to work with. What more could you ask for? Thank you Dawn and team!

Dawn and Marilyn did our hair and makeup for the wedding, and we all looked stellar. It was an early start. They showed up on time at 6AM and finished by 9AM, so we could move on to photos.
Dawn, with the know how and experience, really listened to our likes and dis-likes. I was looking for simple with not a big-to-do, and she nailed it! My husband is not a huge fan of lots of make-up... but when he couldn't stop saying wow wow wow... I knew it was just right.The rest of the bridal party looked absolutely gorgeous. Dawn did a wonderful job on my mother as well. My mom felt really great after she was all done up!
Marilyn nailed all the hair-dos. She would do a hair do while still looking at the one she just completed... and would make adjustments as she went along.
Pictures are a good idea for ideas... but these two girls really didn't need them. We really looked lovely on the wedding day.

Dawn was amazing. I was the maid of honor in my best friends wedding 5 years ago and Dawn did our makeup and then we had Dawn do our makeup for my wedding two weeks ago. She is so easy to be around and made the day so fun. She did a wonderful job on all of our makeup. I told her I wanted a beachy look and that is exactly what I got. When I went for my trial she wrote down everything she did and perfected it on my wedding day. She did my makeup, my 4 bridesmaids and my mothers. I would recommend Dawn to all brides!!

Dawn did an absolutely beautiful job on my wedding day. She was very kind and easy to work with leading up to the day, and a calming presence on the morning of. I received so many compliments on my makeup all throughout the day and somehow it managed to stay perfect despite the fact that I cried a few times! Dawn and her team also did a wonderful job on my mother and bridesmaids - everyone was so thrilled with how they looked, which was very important to me. Dawn is wonderful to work with! I hope I get to work with her again!

Dawn Rose and her staff were punctual, professional and provided very high quality service on my wedding day. Not only were they ready to go at our very early call time (6:00am!) but they were super kind, funny and flexible and helped everyone to feel at ease the morning of my wedding. I had a large bridal party (15 of us all together including moms, cousins, etc) and they made everyone look beautiful - and on schedule no less! Would highly recommend to anyone.

Working with Dawn and Ana was excellent. Dawn was very professional and paid well attention to our needs. Dawn did make up for myself and my maids of honor and bridesmaids. Ana did hair and we all looked beautiful and got lots of compliments. Great job ladies! It was a pleasure working with Dawn and Ana moreover we all had a great time. I would definately recommend using Dawn Rose.

I'm not a makeup or updu type of girl, so it takes A LOT for me to feel good about someone else doing hair/makeup. From the onset, the girls were super comforting and flexible with all my "I changed my mind" scenarios.

All my bridesmaids were super happy, and one of my bridesmaid's has asked me for Dawn's referral contact information.

I'd absolutely recommend to brides, and definitely schedule thise trial appointments!

Dawn and her team are amazing! Dawn is extremely professional and responsive! Crystal did my make-up and all of my bridesmaids. She did an amazing job and we all looked beautiful! Our make-up lasted all day and night and Crystal was very attentive and listed to what we all liked! Melissa Marshall did my hair and I could not have been happier with how it came out! Melissa also did a beautiful job on my bridesmaids' hair with Melissa F.! Both of them are so talented and brought our visions to life!

Dawn and Angela came to do my hair and makeup, along with three bridesmaids and two moms (originally not scheduled) early (6 am!) on a Sunday morning for my wedding. They were prompt and ready to set up when the power in my hotel room went out. Dawn helped get us a new room to prep in and they went right to work. I gave them pictures for my girls' hair and makeup and they did exactly what I wanted for them and made them look beautiful. For me, I had changed my hairstyle slightly and Angela worked to make sure it was perfect, and it exceeded my expectations. I felt like an absolute princess after my hair and makeup was complete. My mom and MIL wanted their hair and makeup done last-minute and they were able to accommodate them with no problem and made them feel beautiful as well! I am extremely pleased with the job they did especially with the running around we had to do that morning. Thank you ladies for helping make my dream wedding a reality! We all felt beautiful and got so many compliments on our looks because of your great work!

This is long overdue but I have to give Dawn and her team a 5 star rating. I first started talking to Dawn a year before the actual wedding, and she was nothing by professional and kind as I started the planning for the hair/makeup for the day of my wedding. With 8 bridesmaids, a bride, and a mother of the groom in 1 hotel room - it was a big task to get all those women ready for a 12 noon ceremony. Dawn and her team promptly arrived at 6am to get us started and were extremely diligent, professional, and more than pleasant to be around. It was POURING rain, but we all received a ton of compliments that we looked like we just got ready hours later at the reception. The airspray makeup looks amazing in pictures and Dawn and her team did a phenomenal job with making us all look our very best. I HIGHLY recommend them for your wedding - you will not receive better service or a better result. Thank you Dawn!!!

Dawn and her team were fabulous from start to finish! At one point, we even needed to change our date, and Dawn was flexible and able to go with our new date. Everyone who received services (from age seven to seventy-five) were all treated well. The make-up and hair styles were flawless, and we got many compliments. They were prompt and very efficient. Seven people got their hair done, and six got their make-up done that morning. It was all done in a timely fashion. I would recommend Dawn Rose to any bride!

Loved dawn and crystal !! They did such a great job!! They made every bring perfect including my mother and mother in law and they are very picky! Pictures came out awesome! I cried my eyes out at me and my husbands ceremony and my makeup was still on !!! Awesome job dawn and crystal ! If you need your makeup for any occasion from prom .. Dawn was fantastic from start to finish - from checking availability/prices, to booking a trial, all the way through to the morning of my wedding. She responded to emails within 24 hours with thorough answers to any questions or concerns, and her prices are among the best I found in my search for a beauty team. She is definitely a great value! Her team not only made me and bridesmaids look beautiful (hair and makeup), but they were so much fun to have around the morning of my wedding! Dawn and Melissa provided makeup and hair services at my apartment for my wedding. My bridesmaids and myself were all pleased with the services provided. The ladies arrived early to set up and helped make the morning a relaxing and fun experience. The ladies stayed on schedule and even tweaked things last minute. They stayed after they were finished to see me in my dress and make sure I didn't need anything last minute. I recommend Dawn Rose if you are looking for professionalism and expertise.

I knew when i called Dawn Rose on the phone that she was going to be wonderful! Dawn did my makeup for my wedding trial and for my wedding day and it looked beautiful. The airbrush was flawless and didn't come off at all during the day. Dawn called, texted and emailed me back right away when i had a questions about the make up and or changing the colors of my shadows. Dawn also did my Mothers makeup for the day of my wedding and she looked stunning. She is so easy to work with and very flexible. Dawn has extremely talented women working with her. Anna did my hair as well as my sister and niece. We showed Anna a pic of what kind of hairstyles we wanted that day and she duplicated them exactly!! Both Dawn and Anna didn't rush us or make us feel like they needed to leave. Anna stayed with me until i left to go to my ceremony to make sure my hair and makeup were perfect! We used Dawn Rose for my wedding this past June and couldn't be any happier. Dawn Rose was the first and only trial I went to before deciding who to go with. I signed the contract that day with no hesitation. Dawn, Anna, and Melissa all did an amazing job the day of the wedding. They were right on time the morning of the wedding (it was a 6am wake up call!) ready to go and made us all (7 ladies!!) look picture perfect in just a few hours. Anna and Melissa were able to recreate hairstyles from pictures with no problem and Dawn and Melissa's makeup applications were flawless. I got compliments all day and night about how good I looked. Dawn was super responsive throughout the whole process and answered any questions I had. I definitely recommend Dawn Rose Makeup Artistry & Hair for any wedding!!!

After having a not-so good makeup trail experience, started my search again and my friend Jenny helped me and found both a great (makeup artist) named Dawn and (hair stylist) named Ann, trail went great, so I booked them right away! They were both tons of fun, easy to work with and most important they listen to what the client wants and they make sure they deliver. Day of wedding was perfect. They were on-time (was an early morning wedding) and made me feel and look amazing. Hair was classic yet elegant and makeup was simple and delicate, exactly how I wanted it. I can't say enough about how great my experience with Dawn Rose Make Up Artistry and Hair was. The make up was beautifully done, long-lasting and stayed on all day. One of my most favorite aspects of my wedding day was in fact the beautiful wedding hair that stayed perfectly even after taking pictures outside and dancing all night at the reception. Anna has a special talent for making curls last regardless of what kind of hair you have. My hair is very fine, soft, and naturally straight and yet I had a perfect up-do with an abundance of curls all night long. The only thing that was somehow forgotten along the way was the insertion of my veil into the back of the hairstyle. As a result I wound up forgetting it all together and got married without a veil. Regardless, Dawn Rose Makeup Artistry and Hair employees are professional, helpful, patient, and maybe most importantly...on time! I strongly recommend them to all brides who want to look stunning ALL DAY on their wedding day. Just make sure you keep all needed hair accessories in plain sight so nothing is missed (veils, tiaras, hair clips, etc.). They really do an amazing job and make you feel so beautiful on your special day!

Dawn Rose Makeup did a fantastic job at my wedding! I dealt mainly with the owner, Dawn, when it came to setting up the contract specifics, logistics, etc. She was professional and answered my emails in a very timely fashion. I loved that she would do "on-site" with only a three person minimum (we wound up with four - but that was still a great benefit)... and they offer both airbrush and lashes, which were big selling points for me!

Crystal, her daughter, did the actual make-up for my trial and event. I have to say she was the perfect balance of nice and professional. Super sweet - but equally talented. She was able to adjust makeup perfectly for two moms - and then again for me and my sister. And we were ALL happy !!! Quite the feat!

I was having a difficult time finding someone who did hair and makeup, who had availability on my wedding date, and who would travel for a small party (I only had 3 bridesmaids). Thank goodness I found Dawn Rose and Anna. I needed just hair for me and both hair and makeup for my 3 bridesmaids. Anna was able to do everything herself in about 5 hours. She was extremely professional and efficient, but also easy to talk to and fun to be around - which is important when you're spending 5 hours with someone! I had a number of changes for my hair since the hair trial - in fact, I wasn't entirely certain how to describe what I wanted, but after Anna was done with my hair, it ended up exactly how I had pictured!
She also did an amazing job with my 3 bridesmaids. They could not stop raving about how much they loved their hair and makeup. And everything stayed put for the 10 hour day - from the formal photos through the ceremony (which was a bit windy since it was by the water) and the end of the reception.
Anna did such a great job and she was a pleasure to work with - I highly recommend her!

Dawn and her team were absolutely amazing! I had a fairly large number of girls the morning of the wedding (9 total) and the team worked so efficiently! We were even ahead of schedule. They helped to make the morning feel so relaxed and easy. I felt extremely comfortable with the entire team and was able to act like myself the morning of the wedding. Carolyn (makeup) and Anna (hair) did an absolutely wonderful job! Myself, 2 bridesmaids, my mother, and mother-in-law all received both hair and makeup the day of the wedding and everyone was pleased! They understood what everyone wanted and delivered! The hair and make-up stayed in place without feeling like we were covered in hair-spray or had makeup caked on our faces. I was the only one with the air-brush makeup and recommend it to anyone with a history of acne or insecurities about their complexion. It was so natural looking and looks great in pictures. The girls were very nice when they came to my house for my trial and were able to capture exactly what i wanted. I will highly recommend Dawn Rose to anyone in need of hair and makeup services!

I had the pleasure of working with Dawn, Gina, and the rest of her fabulous team on the wedding of my dreams! Being a picky, and for the most part, OCD/type A individual, Dawn was incredibly helpful and patient throughout the whole wedding preparation process. I even had two makeup and hair trials because I was still unsure of what my final wedding look would be. Dawn and Gina were extremely attentive and guided me as we explored different looks and finally found "the one"! On the day of the wedding, Dawn, Crystal, Gina, and Melissa came to our hotel and promptly began working on me, my 6 bridesmaids, my mother, and mother-in-law. Not only were they all extremely professional, but they were courteous, easy-going, and a blast to work with. Their work was absolutely stunning and I couldn't help but feel as though I, along with my bridal party, were the most beautiful women in the world! My mom, who rarely wears makeup, could not stop raving about her airbrush makeup. Throughout all of the tears of happiness, sweating from dancing all night, and the expected wear and tear of a long day, our makeup and hair stayed intact. A friend of mine who had gotten married had recommended Dawn Rose Makeup Artistry and Hair and I'm so glad I was able to book her! Now, my bridesmaids will be using her in their upcoming weddings!

I used Melissa from Dawn Rose for our makeup and she did an AWESOME job! She arrived on time and did the makeup for me, my mother, my matron of honor, and my bridesmaid. I wanted the look that makes everyone do a double take because they can't believe it's me and she definitely accomplished that! Everyone kept telling me how beautiful I looked, in fact when I saw my mil at the church for the first time she came up to me with her head down and when she looked up at me she couldn't even remember what she was going to say and just sputtered out "Oh my gosh you look so beautiful" and that was a moment I will never forget. This group was phenomenal and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone! Dawn Rose and her crew did hair and make-up for 10 of us and we were extremely satisfied. Everyone’s hair and makeup came out exceptional. Most of the girls brought pictures of the different hairstyles they were interested in and the hair dressers were able to replicate the styles on the girls and exceed everyone’s expectations for how those styles would appear on them.

For the makeup, they definitely did not take a “one size fits all approach” adding that personal touch. They really ensured that the make-up styles were the right fit for each girl. I would also highly-recommend airbrush as well- definitely worthwhile!

They were extremely professional and reliable throughout this experience. Dawn would always answer questions in an extremely prompt manner. They were punctual despite the fact that the hotel we were getting our makeup done in was extremely difficult to locate. I had a great experience working with Dawn Rose and her artists and would highly highly recommend their services.

I was SO IMPRESSED with Melissa from Dawn Rose Makeup Artistry & Hair. During my trial, she was extremely polite and courteous. Melissa was easy to talk to and really made sure I loved my hair and makeup before I left. Even when I totally changed my hair style idea on the day of my wedding....Melissa did an absolutely amazing job. She really out did herself! I couldn't have been more happy with how my hair and make up came out!
My two bridesmaids were also impressed with their styles. They have completely different hair types and Melissa rocked it out! They also wanted two totally different make up styles. She was able to do these two different looks and still make them look cohesive. Melissa was on time on my wedding day, and stayed until everything was perfect. She did not rush one bit. She also looked very nice when she arrived. Melissa was in parts of my video and photographs while getting ready, and I was happy with the professional way she was dressed and presented herself. Also, her endless supply of mints kept my 7 year old step daughter happy!! :)
Booking my appointment was so easy. Dawn Rose was easy to reach and was flexible with days and times I was available. Even when I had a personal family issue to deal with, she stayed and worked with me to ensure I was satisfied. I didn't feel like "just another customer". She asked how my father was doing when I spoke to her on the phone and in email. She made me feel at ease with everything.
I am someone who expects perfection with every service I look for. Dawn Rose and Melissa were the definition of what a customer wants and needs, especially for their wedding day. Thank you so much!!!

Crystal provided the makeup services and Andrea the hair styling, both were absolutely great! Even if the girls didn't know what they wanted for hair, Andrea was able to whip up something gorgeous in a matter of minutes! Everyone at the wedding was commenting on how stunning my hair and makeup was, and I couldn't be happier. Both of the artists were on time, and came directly to the hotel next door where I was getting ready, without a travel fee! They were great working with my photographer on getting ready photos, and every single one of my bridesmaids looked fabulous! My and mom and mother-in-law also looked amazing! Dawn Rose's prices were very reasonable, and the quality of services impeccable! I would definitely recommend them!

Having Dawn Rose Makeup Artistry and Hair for my wedding was the best decision I ever made! First of all, both Dawn and Gina are the sweetest, nicest, talented people ever. They were awesome during my hair trial and they were even more awesome on my wedding day. They were super professional and even came to my hotel to do the bridal party's hair and makeup. I used Dawn Rose Makeup Artistry and Hair for my wedding day Hair. I had a wonderful experience. Dawn was so helpful when I reached out to her for a trial. She set me up with Gina. Gina did exactly what I wanted at my hair trial. I felt very confident and stress free regarding my hair for my wedding day once I found Gina. I was so happy with my hair on my wedding day. I absolutely loved it and received so many compliments! She did an amazing job! Also, I had 8 bridesmaids and my mother that had their hair done. Everyone looked amazing as well and everything went so smooth and stress free! It's not an easy thing to coordinate 10 people in a small time frame, but Gina and her daughter did this with so much ease, calmness and professionalism. I would definitely recommend this duo for large wedding parties. Also, their pricing is reasonable and it's worth every penny!

I was probably the most annoying bride ever, changing the number of hair appointments over and over again. Dawn was incredibly accommodating and responsive. Anna did hair for 4 bridesmaids and the mother of the groom. They were all updos and she did them in 4 hours. I was incredibly impressed by the quality of her work. They all looked amazing, and they all stayed in tact all night. I highly recommend Anna! She was punctual, super easy to work with, personable, and incredibly talented! Thanks Dawn & Anna!

I used Dawn Rose for my wedding on 4/19/13. If I could give Dawn and Gina a 10 out of 5, I would do so in a second. These two did an AMAZING job on my wedding day. I had 8 girls who needed make-up and 6 who needed hair and they worked efficiently without compromising quality. Every hairstyle was unique yet beautifully done. The make-up was flawless and brought out everyone's best features. My mother even loved her look and she's never happy with anything!
I would HIGHLY recommend Dawn and Gina to any other bride. They were professional, fun to work with, and most importantly, did an absolutely perfect job creating my wedding day look (I went for 2 hair trials and still wasn't sure what I wanted - Gina nailed it!). Thank you for everything!!

Dawn and her team Angela and Ellie were outstanding!!! I cannot say enough positive comments about the high quality of their work, exceptional service and interactions and the wonderfulness of the experience. We had 8 different time consuming hair styles and they listened to worked with each girl to make sure it was exactly what she wanted and was the most flattering. The makeup was truly artistry - gorgeous! Dawn is so knowledgable and will work with you to try new things that you can't believe you ever lived without. It was a makeover not just a makeup application. Prompt, extremely professional, communication was outstanding, very reasonable pricing and simply fabulously fun people. Dawn Rose Makeup and Artistry has provided services for both of my children's weddings. Dawn and her associates are professionals who listen to the clients and work together to create a look exactly what they want. Dawn is a pro with air brushing, and Crystal is amazing with eye makeup.
As mother of the bride, I had no worries that Dawn would show up on time, the girls makeup was completed with time to spare.

Very professional! On time and ready to work. Wonderful job everyone told me how beautiful I looked and the makeup stayed on all night. I had the airbrush and 3 girls with traditional makeup. We were all done in a timely manner with hair and makeup!! Hair was wonderful and stayed curled all night!!

Dawn made me look and feel like the most beautiful woman in the world on the most special day of my life. She has an eye for knowing exactly the right products and color techniques to use to ensure a smooth, flawless but natural appearance. She gave my mother her youth back, and my Matron of Honor who doesn't normally wear makeup felt amazing and not "over done." Dawn truly has a special talent for makeup artistry. What's more, her loyatly and dedication to her clients was exemplified by her prompt arrival and the time and attention she took on each of us despite the blizzard like conditions outside our window. As a bride the morning of your wedding you need the day to get off to a good start. When I walked into my salon at 7:30AM in the morning the first the first thing I saw was Dawn with her make-up chair all set-up and ready to go. As a bride it was a great relief to see your make-up artist set-up and ready to go at the contracted time. Additionally, the make-up she completed on me, my mother, and my bridal party was incredible. She did a fantastic job and I highly recommend checking her out as the quality of make-up done and the professionalism was top notch! I am so happy I found Dawn online as this was the perfect fit for my wedding day!

I had a great experience with Dawn Rose.I had a lot of trouble deciding on hair and make up services for my wedding but after doing my trial and discussing pricing, I felt very comfortable booking them to do hair and make up for 9 people (including myself) on the day of my wedding. Prior to the wedding, they were always quick to respond to any questions and also confirmed with me along the way. On the day of, they arrived on time, set up quickly and got everyone going right away. They were even able to add in two more people for make up at the last minute. Everyone that came (we had 2 hair and 2 make up) were friendly and professional. Our hair and make up came out beautiful. A few of my bridesmaids mentioned how many people complimented their hair and make up. My mother (who HATES make up) was even pleased with how hers came out and was comfortable for the event. My hair was curled and I was impressed that it still looked the same even after the reception was over. I would definitely recommend their services.

I met Dawn at a bridal show at the Radisson in Freehold, it was meant to be. I then booked a consultation with Dawn to do my make up for my wedding. Dawn is so friendly and lively. I do not believe that I have felt more beautiful then when Dawn did my makeup. I wish I had money lying around for Dawn to do my make up every day. I received more compliments than I can remember on my makeup and how I looked like a real life princess. Not only did I look like a princess but I felt like one too. Dawn took her time and to make sure she had everything perfect! I had no idea what I had wanted when I originally went in since I usually do not wear makeup as soon as I told Dawn I had an Alfred Angelo Disney Wedding dress the idea popped right into her head and my makeup, my wedding was complete. I cannot express into words how grateful I am that I found Dawn and her services. If anyone wants to be pampered and transformed into the beautiful bride we have all dreamed of becoming.. Dawn was great with email response every time I had a question. Crystal and Melissa provided traditional and airbrush makeup to my bridal party, my mom, and myself. They were very punctual, and professional the morning of the wedding. Everyone loved their makeup and it lasted the whole day!! I got airbrush makeup done and it was very natural. It felt very light, as if I wasn't wearing any, and it lasted all night. They were a pleasure to work with and I would recommend Dawn and her team to those looking for makeup services.

Dawn was the first and ONLY make up artist I called for my big day and I was sold on our first conversation. She is fun, energetic and has a lovely personality. She came (early) to my hotel with her daughter and Gina, her hairstylist. We chose Airbrush and Dawn and her daughter did an amazing job on myself, my mother and my 5 bridesmaids. We all have different complexion and skin type and they were able to bring out the best on everyone. Gina did our hairstyles. She truly is the sweetest person I've ever met! She did mine, my mother who is VERY difficult, and 2 bridesmaids' hairstyles. I was worried because we all have different hair texture, but let me tell you, they were ALL gorgeous. We loved our hair and makeup. Dawn and Gina took the time to make sure everyone's hair and make up was perfect. I cried, danced, and hugged family and friends all day. My makeup DID NOT come off and NOT one hair was out of place. If you want your hair and make up done right, do yourself a favor and call Dawn and her team. I got married in September on the beach & I was so worried about wind & makeup coming off from crying & hugging friends & family but Dawn made the makeup perfect! I went to her for a trial & knew she had the fun & energetic personality perfect for a pre-wedding gathering in my room with all my bridemaids & family,not to mention her makeup skills are great! She used airbrushing & let me tell you it does not come off! I felt like my best self because she brought out all my features & pictures don't lie, so do yourself a favor & check her website out! I wanted someone to come to my hotel so my girls & I didn't have to worry about running around on the big day so Dawn came to me & brought her hair stylist Gina, who was fantastic as well! For my big wedding day I was confident with using Dawn Rose after both my makeup trial and my hair trial. I met with Nikki for makeup and she was a total sweetheart. Nikki listened to the look I was searching for, she was energetic, and comfortable to be around. Nikki took her time to make me happy and surprise me with a different but elegant look for my big day. Let's face it....makeup and hair are essential for any wedding. Nikki was also punctual and this reduced the stress that most face during their wedding. She not only did my makeup but my mother's, grandmother's, sister's and the bridesmaids, too. Everyone was pleased with her and her ability to listen and openly change any look. For the big day, we were also fortunate to find Gina, who was our hairstylist. Boy were we pleased with her lovely hair styles and professionalism as well! Gina took her time to make sure that everyone's hairstyle was beautiful and every hair was in place. Gina was pleasant to work with and very punctual during the wedding day as well. She arrived early enough to set up and get started. Gina was a delight to work with and truly took her time to create a gorgeous look that would stay in place for the entire day.
