I can't say enough about Dawn and her team. Planning a destination wedding in New York was not for the faint of heart. It was only because of vendors such as Melanie that we felt that all would go well. She exceeded expectations during our prolonged planning (18 months) with timely communication, creative florist designs, personal attention to wedding venue and the bride's vision. Look no further for the perfect wedding floral vendor!! -

If you are looking for flowers for your event that are beyond anything you possibly envisioned, then Dawn Melanie Designs is the florist for you! I highly recommend Dawn Mittman from Dawn Melanie Designs.
Dawn handled the floral arrangements for a special luncheon which I hosted that was held this spring. Dawn went above and beyond in every respect when designing my event flowers and working with my deadline and budget constraints. In addition to being a floral artistic genius, Dawn is quick with communication and is endless in her talents at assembling arrangements. The guests all comments how exquisite and breathtaking the floral arrangements all were.
Initially, it was difficult for me to picture exactly what I had in my head. I simply knew the colors and types of flowers that were to be used. Dawn was able to create the exact arrangement in detail according to the description I provided from my mind. She was right on point! The end result was sheer beauty because of Dawn’s magic and artistry, which goes to show that her level of client service is at an incredibly high level. In addition, from the onset, Dawn was always highly communicative, and prompt with the floral delivery, and ever dedicated to ensuring the table arrangements were correctly placed. Thank you Dawn for being so wonderful and for sharing your talent and passion on the day of my special event!

Beautiful professional flowers from a friendly, creative company
Dawn was incredibly friendly, professional and great to work with. The floral arrangements for our wedding simply beautiful... everything that I hoped for. Dawn worked with me on the details from the start, and knew all the right questions to ask (I was looking for simple and blue/white). Dawn checked in on details with me whenever appropriate, but used her own creativity and expertise to make beautiful arrangements in the space. She went above and beyond to have a lovely floral drapery for the gazebo, accents on the ends of chairs, bouquets, centerpieces, and even asked about cake, hair, and plenty of other things I wouldn't have thought of. The staff was very friendly, punctual and professional. We were so pleased. -
