    We had him dj at our reception for our vow renewal and the service was amazing! I highly recommend them to everyone.

    One of the BEST choices we made for our wedding Day! Kevin from Dawg Town made our wedding reception run so smoothly and he had our dance floor full the whole night! He was even on the floor dancing with our family and friends at some points! So so much fun and I will always suggest every bride and groom to use Dawg Town Entertainment!

    Kevin was the best DJ throughout the entire process! Not only did he keep everyone on the dance floor during the wedding, but he helped me stay focused on getting everything together before the wedding as well. I had totally forgotten to pick out songs for the wedding party to enter the reception, our last dance song, things like that... Kevin helped get me on the right page. At the end of the night, everyone was asking for the "playlist" from our wedding b/c they loved all of his picks. Kevin is the BEST!!

    Kevin was so great to work with! I was the MOH for a wedding where Kevin was the DJ and he was so patient and professional with all the last minute requests and announcements we asked him to make. His setup is awesome; the most professional I've ever seen at a wedding. I'd absolutely recommend him for any event!

    I was a lucky bride to marry the love of my life on 2/23/13 AND have DJ Kevin Cheek of Dawgtown DJs provide the amazing entertainment for my wedding ceremony and reception. I cannot say enough things about how wonderful Kevin was to work with, his professionalism, his ability to completely lead the flow of the whole night, and his ridiculous skills and music selection. I planned my whole wedding with no wedding coordinator, and Kevin took over the whole wedding and reception (in a good way) and gave me exactly what I needed as far as schedule for the evening and helping everything flow. He was take charge and go with the flow, and made the entire afternoon and evening a breeze for me. My musical tastes are widespread, and he accommodated everything my husband and I wanted - from dancing motown to current top 40 to country to old classic Sinatra. He was "Johnny on the Spot" with everything. Everybody loved him, and my reception would not have been the same without him. I truly hope I know someone who uses him for a wedding or an event in the future, because I want a chance to enjoy his talents and hosting abilities again. Whenever we met or chatted on the phone to discuss the wedding, I felt like I was talking to a friend, not a vendor, and that made all the difference. My husband and I are still talking about what a great job he did, and I know we will for years and decades to come. :)

    Kevin was the BEST DJ ever!! Everyone at our wedding commented on how awesome the music was the whole night! We danced the night away and it's all because Kevin did such an awesome job with the song selection. He is affordable and very easy to work with! Dawg Town was also our videographer, which turned out amazing! Affordable and such good quality! I am going to recommend him to all future brides!!

    Go with Kevin! Our guests at the reception didn't want to leave the dance floor! He was professional and did a great job for us. We'd use him again and highly recommend him for wedding receptions.

    dawgtown was wonderful. The music he played was a hit at the wedding reception and Kevin was great with all the guest. I will refer him and use him again.

    Kevin packed his trailer, drive 6 hours to Tallahassee and put on a reception/party that friends and family still talk about! I've been to a lot of weddings and Kevin is simply the best in the business!

    Kevin was an absolute professional and we highly recommend him to any bride who is needing a DJ for future events. Kevin kept the dance floor packed and helped keep our reception flowing. I told him my vision for the reception and he took it from there. We also used Dawg Town for uplighting for our venue. It looked absolutely amazing!

    Elite was our DJ and he was amazing! Kevin worked the office, booking and planning upfront and then Elite took over a few weeks out. He was great on the microphone and played amazing music! We didn't even have to ask for request, he just knew what to play! The lights and sound quality were also very good. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding reception and ceremony. Thank you!     I don’t recommend Dawg Town unless bait-and-switch and a poor emcee is fine with you. It’s been several months since our wedding and the DJ/experience is the thing that bother me the most about my wedding day. We booked Kevin, the owner at Dawg Town to DJ our wedding because he was super excited about our reception venue and promised to help me with timing and music selections because he’s really skilled at “running the show.” Fast forward to two weeks before the wedding when I’m trying to finalize timelines and songs…Kevin says he’s not handling our wedding but his partner, Marcus, is. Because he booked four weddings on the same day. Not cool but what can you do two weeks out? He reassured me they had worked together for a long time, etc, and that the new guy would call me soon.

    Multiple emails later and finally Marcus called me four days before the wedding. He didn’t want to do any of the things Kevin had promised, like advise on the chosen music or timeline. Then he sprung the news that he wouldn’t be at my ceremony to play the music (he wanted an assistant to set up and run the show). First Kevin, now you aren’t going to be there? I insisted and he did show up but with several other people who just sat there and frowned. Exactly what I want to hear after the wedding – “who was that guy back by the door that just was sitting there and frowning the whole time?”

    Ceremony was mixed. Cocktail hour music was good and the dance music was decent. Main problem with the reception was YOU COULDN’T HEAR HIM ANNOUNCE ANYTHING! He had no control and absolutely failed to get peoples’ attention. Numerous people said afterwards that they never even saw the cake cutting because they didn’t hear or understand his mumbling. We had around 100 people which should have been manageable for any somewhat experienced DJ. Kevin never reached out to me afterwards to see how things went at our wedding, despite knowing I was unhappy with the switch to Marcus. <2 stars for having music.

    We hired him 5 years ago. I needed a song edited and wanted to use an external source to ensure it was top quality. When I verified if this would be ok, he refused and he charged me to edit the part from the song. The edit was terrible as it made a large bleep noise in the middle of the song. I will never forget how terrible the song was. Then I requested a song and before he played it, he commented about how he disliked the song which was completely rude! I would never hire him again. #notarepeatcustomer #disstatisfied
