We hired David’s BBQ for our wedding — but what we got was so much more than catering. Bobby and Alicia became our caterers, decorators, coordinators, and honestly, our best friends for the day. From the moment we reached out, Bobby was a force. His communication was excellent, and he helped us understand what was possible within our budget while working with us to find exactly what we envisioned.
We met several times: once for the tasting and initial vision, once for his planning workshop, and once more to drop off the final check and sneak a peek at the signage. Every meeting left us feeling more confident. Finding Bobby and his team was a genuine lifesaver. He’s like a one-man band who somehow does it all.
All of the décor from signage to tablecloths (except the florals) was provided by Bobby. He proactively sourced more of the pieces we liked, and gave us invaluable insight into how weddings typically flow so we could make informed decisions as non-wedding professionals. One of his best suggestions was to go from table to table to dismiss our guests for dinner since we weren’t planning a traditional receiving line. It ended up being one of the major highlights of the entire day for our guests - such a personal, heartfelt touch.
By the time we arrived at the venue, everything was already beautifully set up. All we had to do was walk in and take it all in. The food and service were outstanding — do not let the word “BBQ” fool you. The dishes were delicious, well-seasoned, high quality, and served by a friendly and approachable team. We received countless compliments - especially on the meatball appetizers and his citrus brandy chicken sauce. The brisket was melt in your mouth divine.
Bobby truly is the ultimate one-stop shop for wedding needs. He was the heaviest hitter of our entire day, and we are so grateful we found him. Hiring David’s BBQ for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. -

Great Catering & Decor Services!
We recently had David's BBQ & Catering for our wedding and they were phenomenal! They were exceptionally accommodating to all our guests with dietary restrictions, as well, going so far as to follow a specific low-FODMAP recipe for three of my guests. The food was amazing! The brisket was tender even days after the wedding (they will pack up all the leftovers for you and we ate it for meals up until we left for our honeymoon 3 days later). We had passed appetizers for the cocktail hour that were amazing; we asked Bobby to create a charcuterie table as well, and it was a huge hit!
We chose David's over another BBQ catering service due to their ability to help with decor. I highly recommend doing the wedding workshop if you don't have a venue with a decor package. With the workshop package, you can create mockups of the table decor for any and all needed tables for your wedding ceremony and/or reception. Bobby will make all your signage and the David's team will set everything up and take it all down for you. Bobby was amazing when it came to going over the flow of the reception, determining timelines, helping with decor options, etc. The service from David's staff was impeccable, and we never wanted for anything the entire night. If you want a one-stop shop for catering and decor for your wedding, I would absolutely recommend Bobby. Alicia, and the whole David's catering team, you will not be disappointed! -

Bobby and his team are AMAZING. The food was such a hit. We especially enjoyed the pork belly bites… even 7 months later people are STILL talking about them. Bobby is absolutely wonderful. On top of catering our wonderful dinner, he also provided all of our wedding decor. He was always available if I had any ideas or changes I wanted to make to decor. He always replied back almost immediately. He works so hard making sure everything was perfect and it truly shows. We’re so grateful for him and his team. David’s BBQ was the only caterer we talked with when looking for our wedding and we knew immediately that there was nobody else that we wanted on our special day. They definitely made sure we were taken care of AND fed on our wedding day. We truly cannot say enough good things about them. If you’re on the fence.. JUST BOOK THEM. I promise it’s worth it. -

Without a doubt, the 3rd best part of our wedding day. 1st obviously being getting married 2nd having family in.
Bobby and his staff went over and beyond what was expected and this is before even tasting the amazing food.
If you are having a wedding in Florida period, I would highly highly suggest hiring them. THANK YOU SO MUCH -

BOBBY IS AMAZINGGGGG!! He was super communicative, detailed, and really passionate about what he does. He was super accommodating when I reached out to him to schedule a tasting way after we booked with David's BBQ due to living out of state. Our guests LOVED the food (especially the pork belly bites) and raved about how kind and attentive Bobby and his team were (even mentioned to us that they will be going to David's BBQ again)! David's BBQ made our wedding day go smoothly from setting up the decor, and dinner to cleaning up. 10/10 would recommend to anyone! THE BEST!!!! -

Bobby from David’s BBQ is the secret weapon for your wedding. His knowledge and flexibility makes him a tier above and you will never be disappointed. Our other vendors got so excited to here we had Davids BBQ catering our event because his reputation is THAT GOOD! Not only is the food amazing, but his decor selection and staff are too notch. MUST HAVE for you wedding day
Bobby is THE person to have on your wedding team. He works incredibly hard to make sure every detail is perfect. The decor warehouse is everything you could ever want. The food is delicious. He made everything easy and FUN. Our ceremony threw a curveball with the weather, and he handled it without any issue. I really don't think we could have pulled everything off without him. His team is professional and very punctual as well. We can't thank him enough! -

We hired David's BBQ for our 3/26/22 wedding. We communicated with Bobby to set-up a tasting, and from the very beginning, he completely wowed us with how friendly and personable he was. We were able to sample all of the items we were interested in for our wedding menu, and the food was great! He served us large portions while running through a slideshow depicting his decor program. This was one of the reasons why we had originally looked into this caterer, as he can provide, and decorate almost an entire wedding, included with the cost of catering! After we finished up, he packed up a leftover plate for us to eat at home and let us tour his catering area.
We knew immediately after leaving that this was the caterer for us. Prior to the wedding, Bobby was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had, and we felt assured that our event would go off without a hitch.
Their team showed up early to our wedding site, and everything was set-up exactly as we had envisioned it. The catering staff were all friendly and provided us with excellent service. After we finished our ceremony, there was someone waiting for us with cold beverages, and they also brought a special plate of appetizers just for us and our bridal party during photos. For our buffet, they walked us down the line, describing each dish to us while making our plates. At the end of the event, they provided small to-go boxes, and boxed up all of the leftover cake for our guests to take home. They also boxed up whatever remaining leftovers we had in metal pans for us to take. What was extra special was that they also boxed up two individual meals, a small bottle of champagne, a card signed by all of their staff, and $20 in gift cards to their restaurant. This was a personalized little touch that we did not expect and loved!

The best in the business!
David’s bbq catered our wedding last month and I still haven’t gotten their brisket off my mind!! It is to die for! Ugh! But many people know just how great David’s bbq is but not as many know how great their service is!!! David’s bbq not only caters your food but provides beautiful, unique, and personalized decorations for your event as well! The head honcho, Bobby, is so passionate about delivering a 5 star service, he is there for you every step of the way with advice and expertise on how to make your event one no one will ever forget! The rest of the staff at David’s bbq is just as kind and friendly and fun and did an excellent job caring for our guest! Please do yourself a favor and book David’s bbq for your next event!!

My experience with Bobby and his crew was nothing short of amazing. The best part about working with them, is that they also assist and provide all decorations for the table, ceremony, reception ,cake table, bar. Their staff was friendly and interacted so well with all of my guest. Their food was hot and plentiful. The guest were all well fed and the food was delicious. They provide you with a concierge service and bring food and drinks to you while you are getting the photos taken in between the ceremony and the reception. Everything they do is thoughtful and attentive to every need for the bride and groom. They made each and every guest feel special as well. Bobby answered every email that I sent him through the entire planning process in a timely manner. He was open and willing to discuss all ideas that I had. He is also very creative and brought so many of his own thoughts and ideas to the table and made everything go so smooth. I highly recommend him and his team for weddings or any event you may have as they took a usual stressful situation and made it completely carefree for me and my husband. I am attaching photos below to show his creativity and ideas to make the venue look absolutely beautiful. All of this is included in his cost. -

I loved Bobby and his team! He also has a centerpiece rental he did for us that was phenomenal! He practically planned my whole wedding decor and it was gorgeous! If you go with David’s BBQ you will not be displeased. I had regular BBQ dinner for our guests and the food was amazing and the appetizers were out of this world! He creates all of his appetizers and comes up witty names for them and leaves you craving for more! I will always recommend David’s Catering for our future events and other friend’s weddings! More than just BBQ!
I first had a meal from David’s BBQ event menu at a Valentine’s Day event I went to. I was floored at how amazing the food was. Bobby, caterer from David’s BBQ, makes the best mashed potatoes and chicken and waffles!! I knew I would have them at my wedding. I set up a tasting and realized how much extra things you get over just a normal caterer. Bobby has an entire decor warehouse that you can use included with your catering package. I received SO MANY compliments about how amazing the food was. David’s BBQ catered my rehearsal dinner as well and my family and guests couldn’t believe how amazing the food was. Many wedding I’ve been too had mediocre tasting food and staff that seemed uncomfortable and stressed working. David’s is not like that!! The food is impeccable. The staff is professional and fun. They blend in and don’t draw attention to themselves but were comfortable with my guests and were a lot of fun! David’s BBQ is so much more than just BBQ. Schedule a tasting!!! You won’t regret it! They are the absolute best. My husband and I had a server appointed to us only and he was phenomenal! We never had an empty glass. After our ceremony he was waiting for us with glasses of water and a cool rag (May in Florida is HOT!). You will not be disappointed with David’s BBQ! I can’t recommend them enough! My guests are still talking about how great the food at my wedding was two weeks later! -

These servers were awesome. We were never thirsty or hungry. We had a "personal caterer/assistant" that checked on us where ever we were. At one point we were taking photos away from the cocktail area, and our caterer ran out to the site and brought us a bit of all of our appetizers so we could taste them before they ran out. After our dances, they were right there with cold water and asking if we needed anything. The food was really good!! And I love their decorations program. They helped our reception area look beautiful. -

Way above and beyond! That is how I would describe our entire wedding catering/planning experience with Bobby and the entire crew at David’s BBQ & Catering. Our (first and only) tasting was at David’s and it was a great experience! From the minute we walked in, we were catered to like we had already hired them. Bobby sat us down at a table that was covered with an array of appetizer samples, dinnerware examples, menus, price sheets...essentially all of the information we were looking for. We sat down and began sampling their delicious appetizers while Bobby quickly got us drinks. When he returned, he went through a brief, yet very detailed powerpoint that showcased what David’s is all about when it comes to catering weddings. In particular, he highlighted the importance they place on customer service and how we, as the bride and groom, would have a server assigned to us throughout the night. We were very impressed with everything to this point. Once he finished his presentation and thoroughly answered the questions we had, they served us a fantastic dinner that allowed us to sample most of the menu. The portion sizes easily filled us up and we were able to take home the leftovers. While we ate dinner, Bobby left us alone so we could privately discuss our impression thus far (spoiler: we were already blown away).
After finishing dinner, Bobby showed us the extensive and varied collection of decor items they had available for their clients. They had tons of items that we loved and ultimately ended up using, which saved us lots of money on decorations. Although it was our one and only tasting, we booked with David’s the very next day. During the planning process, Bobby always promptly responded to emails and texts (there were a lot) and made himself available on multiple occasions so that we could come to David’s with our coordinator to set up mock table arrangements and evaluate their decor items. He made many great table arrangements and decor-related suggestions that we would not have come up with without him.
Based on how the planning process went, we had sky-high expectations for our actual wedding day, and Bobby and his crew exceeded every one of them. They arrived early and had everything set up and ready to go in no time. As soon as our ceremony was over, the server assigned to take care of us had a tray with our specialty drinks and delicious appetizers ready for us so we could have a much needed drink and snack before family photos. As soon as the reception started, my wife and I each had a server assigned to us that brought us drinks and made sure we had plenty to eat (as promised). The food was incredible and both of our families were raving about how delicious it was, which is really impressive because there are a lot of food snobs on my side of the family. Not only was the quality of food fantastic, but the quantity of food they brought was even larger than we expected and not a single person left our reception hungry. The service was also excellent during dinner. They made sure to keep water glasses full during dinner so everyone could stay hydrated for all the dancing to come. They also did a great job of quickly and discreetly cleaning up after dinner and transitioning to dessert. We got the funnel cake fries with the strawberry and chocolate dipping sauces, all of which were absolutely to die for. Most of our guests were getting down on the dance floor and did not notice that the funnel cake fries had been put out, so Bobby took it upon himself to bring around trays of the funnel cake fries to everyone on the dance floor to make sure everyone got to try them with both dipping sauces. We also got our bartender through David’s. There were a lot of drinkers in the crowd but the line at the bar always moved quickly and never got too long for our liking.
All in all, we could not have been happier with the quality of service, quality/quantity of food, and professionalism of Bobby and his entire crew from our tasting to our reception. They delivered on all of the promises made to us during the planning and exceeded our lofty expectations on our wedding day. We would highly recommend Bobby and the entire crew at David’s for any of your catering needs. -

Bobby's team catered our wedding. They went above and beyond for us through the whole planning process and that didn't stop for our big day. Mo instantly brought us appetizers while we were getting our pictures taken, Christina made some amazing drinks (with limited items available)! The carving station was the best. Food was delicious and hot. The other team member(forgot his name, sorry!) ensured we didn't need anything throughout the night. They even took a picture with our photo booth and we're the sweetest people I have dealt with throughout the whole wedding.
Hire them! You definitely won't be disappointed. -

My family cooked the meat for my wedding so I had David's cater the sides and Bobby was my bartender. Bobby and Alisha were wonderful to work with, extremely responsive and helpful. The sides they catered were delicious, the guests raved about how great the loaded mashed potatoes and baked beans were! Bobby also did an amazing job bartending and was so wonderful to have around at the wedding. -

Alicia was flexible with us with menu changes and was always quick to respond to emails. One thing we appreciated most about David’s catering was that we could drop off some of our décor the day before the wedding. Guests raved about the appetizers and there were heaps of leftovers for family to take home after the reception. We especially loved how Davids catering brought our vision of a “cookie bar” to life with freshly made cookies. Thank you to the two staff members that assisted with set up, serving and clean up. Kasie Sent on 04/20/2014David's BBQ was amazing throughout the entire process of planning my wedding. The catering manager Jeremy was very detail oriented and a pleasure to work with. He even brought certain props for the food table to match with our rustic farm wedding. All in all, the food was fantastic and it was like the staff wasn't even there. They did their job and they did it very well. I will recommend David's to everyone I know for any even they may need catering for!
