Beautiful and affordable dress with amazing service

I had the best experience with Caroline - helpful, professional, fun, and outstanding! Nothing but great things to say. I am getting married on a short timeline so every part has to be efficient, but you also want to enjoy the memories and special times! I came to David's Bridal in North Attleboro as my first appointment having never tried on a wedding gown before, and while I had ideas, I also wanted to see a lot of styles to learn what I hadn't thought of yet. I was hoping to have a very reasonable budget which Caroline not just respected, but helped me with! To achieve budget and timeline we pulled mainly from in-store clearance dresses, and Caroline pulled a lot of different styles and based on my reactions (I was probably pretty indecisive, most every bridal gown is beautiful so it's hard to choose!) she honed in on what I was really feeling and which styles and gowns were truly exciting me. Caroline ended up pulling the dress I bought that day! Thank you Caroline and David's Bridal North Attleborough!

It was very easy to book (& change when I needed to) my appointment on their website. The saleswoman I met with, Dottie, was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We were able to find my dress in one appointment and got it in plenty of time for our short time frame (less than 5 months). We even needed to re-order it after it came in because I had lost weight and the seamstress suggested saving money by getting a smaller size. At first the ordering system said it was impossible, but Dottie not only got them to do it, but it came in early, giving us extra time to get the alterations done! I also bought my veil and hair combs from them and everyone at the wedding said the dress was spectacular!

I love my reception wedding dress. They did a great job helping me find a dress that suited my style and budget. Also, they had a seamstress onsite that was able to alter my dress in less than 2 weeks!

I initially, specifically, did not want to select my wedding dress from David's Bridal, thinking (wrongly) I would feel like the experience would be ugly/corporate/impersonal yet I was absolutely blown away by how I was treated by my consultant, Erin, and by the variety/quality/affordability and availability of dresses as I tried them on for the first time. I immediately got my attitude checked and fell in love with the North Attleboro location. Erin was there with me the second time I tried my dress on, and made me feel so comfortable and special as I made my final decision. The wonderful employee from alterations, Allelulia, made me feel like her top priority as I asked for the dress to be taken in, then out, then back in.. and then the same way when I asked to add straps, then to remove them, then to add them back again. She was so reassuring, kind, and gentle throughout the experience and totally put me at ease during this somewhat stressful process! Thank you David's Bridal, North Attleboro, Consultant Erin and Allelulia from Alterations so so much!!

The only thing I got from this store was my shoes, which were dyed and done early in time for my first gown fitting. My gown was short and I got it at a different store, so I needed to make sure the shoes matched closely. Other than that, I did order my attendants' dresses off the website and had them shipped directly to them out of state. Although the size chart on the website is totally crazy and makes no sense, they didn't need any alterations at all. It said I would have been either a size 6, 10 or 0 based on my bust, hips and waist. So I don't know how to decipher that. The reps in the Attleboro store are much better than Warwick RI, it's always disorganized over there I found.

I had the most fantastic expirence at Davids..... I had a vision of what I wanted in a dress for a long time...Vicky saw my vision....and found the sleeves!!!! Ann made it perfect!! I felt like a queen! I still can't belive how lovely I looked! It fit like a dream, so much so that I wore it till 9:00 that night.... (wedding was at 2pm) I am going to have it shortend and dyed blue so I can have the perfect formal evening dress. Thank you again & again & again Victoria

Dottie at the North Attleboro store was FANTASTIC! She found the best dress for me and and we also tried to find BM dresses there to. Dottie was professional, followed up and was NEVER pushing. Though she was helping a few other girls at the same time, I never felt neglected or lost!

Davids Bridal had MY dress. It was the dress I had to have. It was absolutely PERFECT. When you find YOUR dress, you have to have it. So I bought it right away. It was absolutley perfect. It was completely me!! Thanks so much for everything you guys did!!

I purchased all of my bridesmaid's dresses as well as my own. I was very happy with all of their services, including alterations. The prices were very reasonable. We had a few glitches with the MOH dresses and has to rush order them, the ladies' at David's Bridal were very thorough with the order and made sure we received the dresses on time. I also had to have my dress taken in twice due to weight loss, and the alterations department made sure I had my dress on time and that it fit like a glove! They have a wide selection of colors and styles which made the shopping experience un, and the sales associates make sure you have everything you need. My mother-in-law even got her dress there! Very happy with it all.

I knew roughly what I wanted when I was buying a wedding dress. The people there were able to help me pick out the perfect dress. The cost was very reasonable, about 450. The alterations were all done perfectly considering I lost 2 dress sizes before my wedding.

As a first time bride and not much of a girly girl, I was nervous that they were going to try to out me in crazy dresses! Let's start from the begin as soon as I walked in I felt very welcome and they were very nice to my family! (I brought my whole family lol) Then they introduced me to my dress consultant, and her name was Jenna!! (She is no longer there) she told me to look around and like I said in the beginning I'm not a girly girl, so she noticed right away I was lost with all the dress and white or ivory I had no idea where to start. So she asked what I wanted and I told her something simple and strap less! She was amazing she brought me 5 dress and out of those 5 found the one!! It was perfect on me and I knew my future husband would be amazed!! They were so nice and I even got all my girls dresses there!! After all that positive I hate to say anything negative but I need to tell!! The only problem I had was with the alteration department, I made an appointment and they never wrote it in!! But that was it!!

I chose to go to David's Bridal for my MOH's dresses. I had two MOH's for my wedding and had decided I was going to let them choice the dress of their choice in the color I chose which was Champagne. A beautiful color! The sales associate Tracey in the Dartmouth store was wonderful. She was extremely helpful. My MOHs ended up choosing the same dresses and they were going to need to be altered at all SCORE!, however it was not a color or size they had in the store. Tracey had to look across the USA to find the sizes and colors we needed. We ended up finding the only two left in the US one in Indiana and one is Alaska. YIKES! the shipping cost was not pretty from Alaska, but because we needed the dresses in two weeks the sales associate in Alaska gave us a 40% discount. They got their dresses in a matter of days the they were in great condition as well. My girls looked beautiful and they loved the dress. They were comfortable in them all night as well. Before my search for a wedding dress began, I never thought I would set foot in a chain wedding store like David's Bridal. However, when I actually started looking for a wedding dress (online, of course), I came to realize that David's had exactly what I was looking for. Unlike so many brides today, I was looking for a dress that was very simple, with no lace or beading, no train, and NOT STRAPLESS! Non-strapless dresses are hard to find, especially if you're looking for something with thicker straps, or even sleeves. In addition to those requirements, I did not want to spend a lot of money on a dress that I would wear once and either donate or re-sell after the wedding.

I found what I thought was the perfect dress on David's website, and I called to make an appointment. Luckily, they had my size, and I took a few friends with me to check out the dress and a few others. I was a bit apprehensive before seeing the dress in person, because its low cost ($300) made me think that perhaps the fabric was of poor quality or there was something awful about it that I had overlooked. Not only did the dress turn out to be beautiful in person, but the store was having a sale, so I was able to get the dress and necessary undergarments for just a little over $300!

Another worry that I had about the dress fitting was the way that I would be treated by the staff. As I said, I was not looking to buy an expensive, extremely decorative dress, and I was worried that a pushy salesperson would try to upsell. Luckily, the salesperson who helped me was totally understanding of what I was looking for, and she only recommended to me dresses that were somewhat related to the one that I had come in to try on (and eventually bought) - I wanted to try a few others on, just so I could be 100% sure that the dress was THE dress, and all of her suggestions were just fine. She did have me try on some hairpieces, even after I had told her that I would be wearing fresh flowers in my hair, but I understand that she has certain guidelines that she must follow, and it didn't bother me at all.

The only negative thing I have to say is that David's Bridal put me on a mailing list, so I began receiving a ton of wedding-related emails and US mail that I had no use for. This is very minor, though, and is probably true of any major wedding retailer.

I loved the staff at David's Bridal!! I got my dress at the Natick store and also the dress i changed into. My bridesmaids also loved trying on their dresses too! It only took me about 45 minutes to pick 1 of the 3 dresses i tried on! I was so nervous that the person helping me try on dresses would be making me hurry and change quick, but they put me at ease & once i tried on dress #2 i knew it was the one!! The train was long and had lace at the trim. The beading was at the bodice and and it had a beautiful, intricate design with beads on the back. I had my dress adjusted so that the train pulled under my dress so everyone could see the bead work!!! I got 50$ off my dress for attending the Worcester Bridal Show which i loved!! The price of the dress was half as expensive as i expected and was well worth it! I hope one day my daughter will wear it too!

I love the dress that I got but i did have a problem they took in my dress too much and one of my bridesmaid's dress was only suppose to get cut but they took it in and we did not have enough time for them to fix it.

My orders came in quickly and accurately. The work on the dress was pristine, and the associates were friendly. Even when one of my bridesmaids was pregnant and had to exchange her size, there was no problem at all!

The cost listed includes bridal gown, alterations, five bridesmaids dresses and wraps, and bridal shoes

AWESOME DRESS at a GREAT PRICE! I was so happy with my dress and so glad that I didn't have to spend thousands of dollars on it. I was amazed. I went to bridal shops where the lowest price was $1200, and didn't even find a dress that was really "me." Plus, since I was dress shopping with less than 6 months, some places wouldn't even consider it. The North Attleboro store was clean and the person who helped me was supportive and patient. I HIGHLY recommend going to David's (particularly this branch, as I've heard other things about other locations). I can't testify to their tailoring/fitting since I went to a family friend for that.

Loved my dress and Suzy was amazing helping me. The only issue I had was alterations. We had an issue with a bridesmaid dress being hemmed completely incorrectly, but other than that the rest was perfect.

I got my dress and veil, my bridesmaids dresses and jewelry, my mother's dress and my mother in law's dress their and they all came out beautiful. The women there were great in helping us picking out styles, colors, and making sure everyhting fit right. I was very impressed at how well they worked with us and they didn't just blow us off. They were very professional and understanding and did a great job.

David's Bridal was the only place I went for dress shopping. I had a budget I needed to stick to. Missy was extremely helpful and helped me find my dress. I tried on 5-6 before deciding on "the dress." It's beautiful!! I loved the quality of my dress, but did not like the quality of the bridesmaids dresses. We ended up going elsewhere for their dresses.

While my mom and I exchanged nervous glances when we first entered - it's a bit dingy and very "North Attleboro" - they were accommodating and really nice. I already had a couple dresses picked out from online searches, so they pulled those and I ended up deciding on the first dress! It came in really quickly - within two months - and they had a promotion to ship it from the store to my parents' house, which was really helpful.

I didn't plan on finding my wedding dress at Davids but, unexpectedly, I found the exact dress that I was looking for. Light gold, no train, very subtle beading on the corset, and a pick up skirt that gave just enough "poof". The price was the best part...less than $500! Since I requested no train, the dress had to be ordered for me, free of charge. (Most brides buy their dress off the rack.) But, when my dress finally came in, I found an imperfection in the fabric so a new one was ordered for me immediately. Check your dress before you take it home!!! I had my alterations done at Davids and since my wedding ceremony was in Las Vegas, I also had it steamed at the Davids location off the Strip, free of charge!

I went to David's Bridal to find a wedding for an elopement. I had very little time before the wedding to find a dress and I wanted something that was the perfect balance between a formal wedding gown and something suitable for a beach wedding. I spent about an hour looking/trying on and came in way under budget. The sales associates were incredibly enthusiastic and helpful and I found the perfect, unique dress.

I picked out the bridesmaids dresses from Davids Bridal and all of my girls loved them. This is not to say there weren't any problems, the first dresses that werre chosen were not flattering on all of the girls so we hade to change the order completely. This, of course, was not easy considering I was living across the country from all of the bridesmaids and the wedding location. However the convinience of all the Davids Bridal locations made things a little easier, and I was able to go to a local Davids Bridal and find exactly what i wanted for the girls, I changed the dress order and 6 weeks later the dresses were in! the girls all looked so amazing, and the dress is so simple and classic they can wear it again!

My consultant was very good, although not extremely knowledgeable. She did not hesitate to ask another consultant for help though. Both ladies were wonderful in helping me make my decision when I ultimately came down to deciding between two dresses. They brought up factors like venue as well as holding up a bridesmaid dress in my (approximate) color choice so I could see what the dresses looked like next to that color. Overall, great experience!!

I purchased my wedding dress and all of my bridesmaid dresses from this location. The stylist was extremely knowledgable and helped me zero in on what I wanted immediately without rushing me. They suggested I peruse the sales racks first and were not focused on making the biggest sale, just on helping me find what I wanted. I suggest going on a weeknight. They allowed me to swap out my dress for a lower size after it came in, which was $100 cheaper. They offered me a credit line with 0 interest for a certain period of time, and they provided $20 off each bridesmaid dress because I bought mine there, and I had no problem with out of state bridesmaids ordering. Turnaround was quick. I am not getting alterations there because I found them to be too pricey. For the value and selection I would recommend them.

I loved my wedding dress and was very fortunate to find it at a reduced price on the AS IS rack. As it turned out the alterations cost me more than the dress itself, which I found to be an annoyance. I had the dress altered on site and I felt that they wanted to make up the difference of the price I paid for the dress. I also felt that the alterations were somewhat rushed and then my dress was ready one month before the wedding. The sales ladies that assisted with the selection and purchase of my dress were very lovely and more than helpful. I would suggest getting any alterations done elsewhere

Davids Bridal was great in the aspect that they had so many dresses to choose from, it made my head spin but I found "the one". You need an appointment to go there and they assist you one on one however they are too many brides for the sale people to handle.

I absolutely loved one of the girls I dealt with at this Davids Bridal. I bought my wedding dress from Davids Bridal in Dedham and had the best experience. I bought my bra, petticoat, shoes, and tiara from Davids Bridal in North Attleboro. I had my bridesmaids buy their dresses from Davids Bridal in North Attleboro, and I loved the girl we all dealt with there. I only had two issues with this Davids Bridal, 1) the girls all work off commision, so if it was not your sales representative then they gave you an attitude and really weren't interested in helping you and you would see them being really friendly with other people but when it came to you, they really didn't care because they were not making any money off of you. My other issue with them, which I know other people have found at other stores, they do not have a very good selectionof dresses in certain colors and sizes. This is the most important day of your life and you want to see what the dress you are making your bridesmaids purchase will look like in the right size and the right color. You have to pay for the dress before you order it and if it comes in and you hate it, all sales are final so your stuck with it.

Overall my experience was ok. My sales associate was a bit pushy for my liking. I understand it is her job to get me to buy but I never really felt that she was listening to me. I went with just my mother and I did not want to make a big deal of dress shopping. The one thing that REALLY bothered me was ringing that stupid bell! I told my associate I didn't want to and she said that every bride does it. Like peer pressuring me to ring it. Give me a break, it's not that serious. But... I found a beautiful dress on sale and it was only $250! It was a steal. And I am sad I don't get to wear it again :-(

My experience at David's Bridal was pretty decent. My dress was a great value, and was on sale! Everyone who helped me was polite and knowledgable. However, when I first went to try on gowns, my assistant kept wandering off. I would come out in a dress and have to wait for her to return. The other thing that I disliked about my experience was that they were very pushy about other services. I must have been asked if I had a photographer yet about 4 or 5 times while I was there. Then, the following week, they called me to ask me again.

All in all, if you are a budget conscious bride, David's Bridal is a great place to get your gown. However, be prepared to be firm if you don't want to use their additional services.

My first visit to find my dress was wonderful! The staff member I worked with helped me choose my dream dress. However, when I went for alterations it turned out to be a disaster. The lady went on her lunch break in the middle of my fitting. I stood in my dress for over an hour waiting for her. I found tiny rips in my dress from all the pin holes that she made. I ended up taking my dress and having it fixed elsewhere.

I think with David's Bridal, you get what you pay for. I was happy with my dress and the price I got it for, but the customer service was fair. I chose not to get my alterations through DB because I had heard horror stories about brides who had gotten their alterations there...but for basic dress shopping it was a good experience!

Although I found a beautiful gown and adorable bridesmaids' dresses, I was not pleased with the service, at all. The initial employee who helped me find the dress was polite, but she was not overtly helpful and not properly informed on some of the procedures. My wedding was planned quickly, so I asked if I could be fitted the night that I found my dress, and I was told that I could come back anytime before 8pm. When I returned I was treated very poorly by the seamstress and the employee on duty, because the previous person with whom I had spoken was unaware of her schedule.

Overall, the merchandise was affordable, and I was able to stay within my budget, but the customer service lacked tremendously.

I bought my wedding dress at David's and it was beautiful! I also purchased my bridesmaids' dresses and mother of the bride dress at David's and they were just as beautiful. Our consultant Dottie was wonderful to work with. My issue with David's Bridal is the alterations department. My wedding gown was a strapless ball gown and I am a size 4. I was told I needed a bustier and a petticoat for my dress. I fainted at my first fitting because everything I was told to wear was so tight. I ended up having to reschedule my first fitting after I had fainted and when I went back my mom and I had to keep telling the staff I did not need a bustier or petticoat as they did not listen to us and tried to sell me products I did not need. The alterations team again tried to make my dress too tight to the point it was not comfortable. If my mom and I had not spoken up I would have been so uncomfortable in my wedding dress. In the end, my dress fit me very well and looked great because my mom and I had to keep correcting the alterations team. I would recommend David's Bridal as the place to get your dress but I would take it somewhere else for alterations as the alterations team did not listen to us and the cost of alterations was almost equal to the cost of my dress.

They need professional help

Had an appointment, they were late to take us. Had nothing in the color we wanted and very few dresses to try on $150 and under. I do think it is a good place for proms and bridesmaids because of their prices. Not enough individualized attention. As the Bride I would not shop there!

The prices and selection of dresses is excellent. You won't find a better selection. However, they are quick to get you in and out, not really taking the time to enjoy the happy experience you are going through. I would go in there with the mindset that you on a time limit before their next appt comes in, so maybe book 2 appts back to back to get the attention you need.

Picking out the dress was fine, but after I went to pick up the dress it all went down hill from there. This store was not very organized. I got several phones calls from them after I got the dress and there information incorrect.

My advice is to stay away from this David's Bridal location. Things started off on a high note-- I really liked the consultant who helped me choose dresses and try them on, she was very nice, and I found my dress that same day. It was slightly under budget, which was a plus. However, I did not care for the store manager, seems like she has been there too long and has an attitude. She didn't listen to me and insisted we order what turned out to be the wrong size-- I told them I always go up a size when converting from standard to petite dresses, but she insisted that isn't how wedding dresses run. She was wrong. So, I had to go back twice after that over the next month or so to try on the same dress in two sizes, what a hassle. I had my alterations done there, since they had told me I'd only need "very minor" adjustments that wouldn't cost much. They ended up costing just over $300 (I paid under $1,000 for my dress). The seamstress I had was nice and did a great job, but their alterations are overpriced. My mom had bought her mother of the bride dress there, and also had them do the alterations-- she went back to pick it up when it was ready, and one side in the front was 4 inches higher than the other. They had to do a rush alteration the week of my wedding, and only took about $15 off my mom's bill because she tracked down the manager and told her she was unsatisfied.

Although I LOVED my dress, my experience was pretty bad with David's Bridal. I did go to three of them in the area, but finally purchased my dress at the North Attleboro, MA location and the service was a disaster. There was not one bit of professionalism at all of the locations I visited, the sales people just had no sense of what it is like to go dress shopping for your wedding! They had not a care in the world about mine or my family's feelings with the dress, trying them on and finally when purchasing it. If I hadnt loved the dress so much I would have never purchased it at David's Bridal. The only good thing about the store was the price, that is all.

Save your money and time

They gave us the wrong dress and even though the saleswoman said she saw the difference refused to fix the issue. So now we are out the money spent on the dress and don’t even have the dress we ordered. They are closing stores and just don’t care about your event. Save your time and money don’t go here. They are not what they used to be and your day will be messed up.

Skip David's Bridal. Too many customers for their staff to handle. Staff overloaded and slow. They are after their commission rather than truly helping customers. Go elsewhere, anywhere but here.

I did NOT have a good experience with Davids Bridal at all. There was one girl in the store who was very kind and helpful but beyond her there was nobody there that was at all helpful or kind. When I went in with my 7 bridesmaid for our prescheduled appoitment we were told that we would have to share 2 dressing rooms and get the dresses ourselves because "they were just too busy for us today" When my girls ordered their dresses they did not release them to be ordered so it took weeks longer then it should have. On top of that when I called to voice my concern, not looking for anything but to tell them how bad the service was, the manager said to me "well what do you want me to do about it?" Unfortunately being such a large vendor with great pricing they have become somewhat of a monopoly in the business, but I would say if you have an option to go somewhere else, do it.

Do not shop here

I really hate writing bad reviews but I'd hate even more for this store to ruin anyone else's special day. I came to David's Bridal because I was, as most, trying to stay within a budget for my wedding. I was shown many dresses, all in incorrect sizes but I don't have a perfect "off the rack" body so I just assumed they knew better than me. I won't get into all the horrible customer service I received, I'll just say, unless you want to pay an additional $500-$700 on alterations, do not buy a dress here. If you do need alterations, give the business to your local tailor who are less likely to scam you. They also scheduled my alterations conveniently outside the return window for the dress - which was never communicated to me. The sales associate Kelly (older, blonde), lied to me several times about policies and stock - clearly just interested in getting her commission and moving on. Really devastating experience just a couple months before my wedding day.

This stop would rather the commission on a bridal party, don't shop here for a prom. They don't pay attention to you and get your alterations somewhere else, we had H.S. do ours and she is not far at all, she's so expensive and very unprofessional she seems like she hates her job and it wasn't a nice experience for my daughter and I for her first prom.

I have had previous bad experiences with David's Bridal in North Attleboro, MA in the past so when looking to purchase my wedding gown, I knew they were not one of the vendors choices. I did however find the flower girls dresses there for a bargain, and they were beautiful. Of course I i made sure to have alterations done elsewhere because david's charges you an arm and a leg!!!

My mother decided to purchase her dress from them and shoes to match her dress. Big mistake. The dress was beautiful but when it came time to purchase the shoes, the sales person coned my mother into purchasing a pair of shoes and getting them colored without telling her that the color was no longer available. My mother was never notified of the color change, and a week prior to the wedding we found out of the problem while picking up the shoes. The store manager asked one of her employees to try dying the same pair of shoes a diffrent color and ruined them in the process and put up a fight to refund the money back because "all shoes are final sale"!!!

That place is rediculous!!! Never again and all brides be aware!!!!

Horrible! I am not a complainer at all. In fact, this is the first negative review that I have ever written. However, after my experience at David's Bridal I felt inclined to warn others. The customer service is horrendous. They are unprofessional, impersonal and rude. My wedding dress shopping experience was less than memorable. I planned on purchasing bridesmaid dresses and more here for my wedding. However, now I will stay far away.
