Sarah Sent on 08/12/2015I went to the Argentia Rd (Mississauga, ON) David's Bridal location and was so impressed with the quality of service and the gorgeous gowns. The staff was so helpful in picking out gowns that were exactly what I was looking for, while staying within my budget.
They have beautiful wedding dresses for every budget. I got my dress for well under my budget and I LOVE it. I have received so many compliments on how stunning my gown was. I felt like a princess on my wedding day thanks to David's Bridal! -
User1727101 Sent on 07/22/2014Great prices and very good options. The stylist that worked with me was a great listener and knew how to fit my body very well. She heard what I wanted, brought what I asked but also brought what she thought would work well. Guess which dress I bought? Yes, the one she brought out for me. Also, I needed the dress within four weeks and she did not make me feel 'crazy' or give me 'the look' for thinking I could get a perfect dress within such a short amount of time. She was great and I would definitely recommend this vendor to others. -

I bough my wedding gown in store and received amazing service. My consultant, Telma, was very sweet, professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. She brought me all the dresses I asked for plus one she recommended for me. The moment I put on her recommendation I knew it was the one! I end cried a little. She definitely knows her stuff! Extremely pleased! -

Living in a remote area of the country, I needed to travel to the store, have a fitting, and have alterations completed all within a week. David's Bridal was able to make it happen! Employees were professional and helpful. They listened to my wants and answered any questions I had. When it came time for my bridesmaids to select their dresses, David's Bridal had my file ready and was able to direct my bridesmaids to the colour I had requested and helped them choose dresses that were beach-wedding friendly! Shipping of custom orders was efficient and quick (faster than David's Bridal initially quoted). Overall, my bridesmaids and I had a positive experience dealing with David's Bridal. I would definitely recommend this retailer for anyone looking for a bridal gown, bridesmaids dresses, flower girl dresses, or mother of the bride attire.

User1539463 Sent on 02/19/2014My experience at David's Bridal Winston Churchill went rather well. My stylist was totally hands on and made me feel comfortable. Thankfully I went in knowing pretty much what I wanted, but nevertheless, she allowed me the opportunity to fit on other dresses on the off chance I had changed my mind. Excited when I was able to "ring the bell" when I finally chose my dress. -

Shannon Sent on 01/03/2014The lady who did my original dress appointment was not very personable, but I have been back many times for bridesmaids dress or to pick my dress up, all of the ladies there have been very professional and friendly and gone above and beyond. Great place and great selection. Very busy on weekends, so I'd recommend going during the week. -

User1957438 Sent on 12/08/2014One of my bridesmaids purchased her dress through David's Bridal. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Dress was ready earlier than expected. My bridesmaid called to find out when she could pick up her dress and was notified it had been in for a week or so although no call was made to her. She was told to pick up her dress as soon as possible or else it would be sent back. Other than that small incident, everything was great.

User2059915 Sent on 03/06/2015I went to a Wedding Boutique before going to David's Bridal, and it was service like no other, and a much calmer/more relaxing process, however the dresses were more expensive. I decided to go to David's Bridal, despite having thought I found "the dress" at the first place, as I knew the prices were better at David's Bridal. I made the mistake of going on a Saturday, and it was sooo busy. It was so loud and busy in there, but the girl was quite helpful still. I ended up finding a dress there that I fell in love with, and the price was better too! The dress came in perfectly, and I then got my tailoring done at the Cambridge location. She did the tailoring in great timing, and it was a perfect fit. Very happy with my experience there, it is just a "corporate" feel and very busy on the weekends.

User1549396 Sent on 03/03/2014The dress I bought a David's bridal was the perfect dress for me :) They provide wonderful dresses for very good prices.
The alterations department is also very wonderful :) They were able to sew my wedding date onto my dress. They fit the dress perfectly to me :)
All 6 bridesmaids, my mother and my aunt found their dress at david's bridal as well :)
One negative comment: I went to the store one time with my fiance and his mother to find a dress at the store for his mother. The sales lady asked me which dress I had bought from the store, I took her aside and told her which dress it was. However, the sales lady was not discrete during the appointment and kept saying things aloud that described my dress within ear distance of my fiance. I was very disappointed and upset. Eventually, at one point she said, "look over there, the girl is wearing your wedding dress". We left the appointment. I did call the manager at the store and she was very apologetic. -
User1848228 Sent on 10/06/2014David's Bridal in Mississauga was great to work with in terms of purchasing my dress. The sales consultants were wonderful, not overly pushy, or demanding, but patient, kind and accommodating. The alterations department was a bit of a different story. I get the impression that they make their money in alterations. After a small miscommunication in my alterations, they agreed to fix the dress and cover any costs of the additional alterations. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience at David's Bridal in MIssissuga.

Lindsay Sent on 05/15/2015Very nice dresses! They came in the perfect color and fit my bridesmaids perfectly. My dress was very nice and the sales woman was very good at picking out things I liked.
However, the alteration was a nightmare as it was so expensive and it is marketed that you will have to get alterations either way. My bridesmaids could not afford it so we had some mothers pull out their sewing kits and fix them. I wish they were more open about it than hiding it and lying to us about alteration prices. ("It depends" is not an answer, it is a horrible excuse to try and suck money)
I wanted my bridesmaids to be called personally for them to pick up their dresses and they kept calling me where I am very busy. Also, should know the difference in my bridesmaids names and not argue with my one bridesmaid on what her name was.
Fix the alterations, and fix the value and fix the snide remarks. -
User1512882 Sent on 01/20/2014The consultant who sold me my dress sold me a size 6 when I was actually a size 2. When I showed up for my first alteration appointment the women in the back were baffled. Luckily they had a size 2 in stock and we swapped the dresses. The day before my final fitting I was in a bike accident and had a bad concussion and they were not accommodating and told me I had to make the appointment or lose the fitting time. So I drove myself to Mississauga in that state - concust, bruised and bandages on my face and body. I tried on the dress looking like a train wreck only to be stuck with one of the pins along the bottom seam and my foot bled all over the dress and floor. It was a nightmare. They were not flexible on me wanting to change the dress in any way (I did not want the original sash and they didn't have what I wanted in store) they would not touch the dress if I had any outside alterations done. They also refused to alter the train and cut the dress off at floor length despite the original salesperson telling me I could "no problem" so I had to pay an additional $100 for a bustle I didn't even want. You should also double-check that all alterations you pay for are completed to your liking - they "forgot" to add an extra clasp at the top of the zipper, it was broken the entire time until I went to take it out of the store. They refused to do it on the spot so I had to make yet another trip out to Mississauga just for this one alteration. The dresses are cheap and the service matches. Buyer beware.

User2395673 Sent on 10/28/2015Great service in store however when it came to an online order and the head office service was disgusting! I work in retail and know how customers should be treated. Apparently they have enough cliental that the head office doesn't care about responding to their customers.
