We used David Thomas Trailways for our wedding guest transportation. We booked a month out and they were able to accommodate all requests, including multiple calls ensuring our needs were met. They even ensured we had a contact and back up contact for day of. They were communicative, on time, and reliable. I worked with Debbie to book 2 air conditioned school buses for our wedding. Debbie was fantastic and prompt with communicating with us. We had no issues on the day of our wedding and everything ran so smoothly. Wedding Shuttle Service
My husband and I used David Thomas Trailways for our wedding shuttle service. We worked with Connie and she was a pleasure to work with! Her communication was great and she was so knowledgable with the timing and shuttle options. We ended up choosing the air conditioned school bus to take our guests to and from the hotel. The bus was clean and cool, especially in the middle of summer! We appreciate David Thomas Trailways for helping us make our wedding day run smoothly!!My husband and I used David Thomas Trailways for our wedding shuttle service. We had the pleasure of working with Dorrie to coordinate transportation for our wedding guests from Hilton Philadelphia at Penn's Landing to Pen Ryn Estate. Dorrie was extremely professional, prompt, and helpfully explained all possibly options - of which David Trailways has many with competitive prices. Everything went extremely smoothly and our guests were very happy with the transportation offered! Wedding Transportation
Transportation was an item we were sweating for our special day just because of prior experiences at other weddings (late arrivals, no-shows, wrong directions, etc.). David Thomas Trailways understood this from our earliest conversations and were extremely accommodating to ensure we didn't have to worry about transportation on the day-of. It also helped that we were able to save quite a bit of money compared to the other transportation services in the area. Dorrie was a true pleasure to work with and guided us through number of buses, pick-up times, and routes to ensure that our guests would arrive at the wedding on-time. We couldn't be happier that travel was taken care of and not any issue whatsoever for our wedding day! -

Smooth helpful shuttle experience
David Thomas Tours provided two air-conditioned school buses for our wedding and it worked out great. Debbie helped us coordinate everything and we were grateful for her Philadelphia experience. 10/10 stars!!!! David Thomas Trailways did a fantastic job on the day of our wedding. Before the big day, Debbie Kennedy was wonderful in coordinating all of the fine details. She was extremely responsive via phone call and email and answered all of our questions regarding the itinerary, contractual obligations, and last-minute changes on the day-of. She was easy to work with and very accommodating. On the actual day of our wedding, they were timely and professional. Often times, transportation can be a huge source of stress but with David Thomas Trailways and their proven timeliness and competence, it was nothing short of perfect. At the end of the night, they were able to adjust the timing of the...10/10 stars!!!! David Thomas Trailways did a fantastic job on the day of our wedding. Punctual, clean, attentive
Huge thank you to Debbie Kennedy and our drivers at David Thomas Trailways. We had to postpone our wedding twice due to COVID and Debbie helped us with that each time. She was always very responsive to all of my questions and made booking super easy. We ended up booking 3 school buses to shuttle about 150 guests from our hotel to our venue and back. All 3 buses arrived on time and were very patient with our guests who indulged maybe a bit too much! The prices are very reasonable and they have a lot of shuttle options to choose from. I will never plan a wedding everrr again (especially during a pandemic) but I highly recommend anyone...Huge thank you to Debbie Kennedy and our drivers at David Thomas Trailways. My wife and I got married a little over a month ago and used David Thomas Transportation as our shuttle bus at the end of our wedding reception. Jamie helped us out over there, and from the very beginning, everything was so well organized and just perfect. The bus we had was brand new, had amazing AC, which was so helpful in the humid night air! Our driver was a very nice gentleman, greeting everyone who came on and left the bus, and helping out anyone who needed assistance. Everything was on schedule, no delays and no issues. Our driver, Ronnie, was extremely professional and punctual. The bus was clean and the guests had a great time riding on it. At one point, we needed to make a slight change to the itinerary and Ronnie was able to accommodate easily. Great service from David Thomas
David Thomas Transportation was fantastic for our wedding. We used a smaller 26-passenger mini coach for our wedding party and two air conditioned school buses for our guests to/from the hotels. Debbie was very helpful leading up to the wedding and provided great advice and considerations for our day-of transportation and timeline. Our drivers were all very professional and the buses stuck exactly to our pre-planned itinerary. Although the quote from David Thomas was a bit higher than other bus companies, I appreciated that Debbie provided personalized service and I had a direct contact at the company, which made the slightly higher cost worthwhile. In addition, it was nice that driver gratuity was included in the invoice price, as...David Thomas Transportation was fantastic for our wedding. We knew we wanted school buses to save some money, and David Thomas Transportation was one of the more affordable companies that still had good reviews. We chose to rent two school buses for the day (we upgraded to the air conditioned buses and were very glad we did - it was a hot day)! The school buses were very clean and nice inside - much better than we expected.
The drivers were incredibly personable and friendly to us and all of our guests and made sure not to leave anyone behind....We hired David Thomas Transportation to transport our ~65 guests from the hotel to our wedding venue and back and it all worked out very well. We knew we wanted school buses to save some money, and David Thomas Transportation was one of the more affordable companies that still had good reviews. There were a couple of hiccups in the schedule during the night which I am a little confused about (our early shuttle back to the hotel left the venue at 9 instead of 9:15, and both of our final shuttles left at 10:30 when one was supposed to leave at 10:45), which caused a bit of a rush at the end of the night to get everybody onto that last shuttle when we thought there were another 15 minutes. Things still worked out fine however and again, the drivers made sure that they didn't leave until we got everybody on the bus. David Thomas Transportation is a great company to use for transportation! -

We used David Thomas Transportation (DTT) to shuttle our guests from the wedding venue to the reception and back. Debbie was our sales representative, and she was charming. However, we did have multiple miscommunications about the fact that we needed a shuttle service (multiple trips), rather than just one trip each way. I thought we’d finally resolved the issue, only to find on the wedding night that the bus driver hadn’t been informed. He was so accommodating and just adjusted his plans to what we needed. The bus was very clean, and DTT’s rates were the best I found. So I would recommend this company with the caveat that you should be sure that you have every small detail in writing on the contract.

However, we did have multiple miscommunications about the fact that we needed a shuttle service (multiple trips), rather than just one trip each way. I thought we’d finally resolved the issue, only to find on the wedding night that the bus driver hadn’t been informed. He was so accommodating and just adjusted his plans to what we needed. The bus was very clean, and DTT’s rates were the best I found. So I would recommend this company with the caveat that you should be sure that you have every small detail in writing on the contract.

I am very disappointed with my experience with David Thomas Transportation. I had rented a school bus to drive my wedding guests to and from the venue from the hotel. Issues were as follows: Bus driver did not leave on time for the first trip from the hotel and then he got lost on the drive to the venue causing our guests to be late. We ended up having to delay the start of our wedding by almost a half hour to wait for the bus and about half of our guests to arrive. This also caused us to miss half of our happy hour since the wedding started when the happy hour was supposed to begin.

This was a little frustrating but not as bad as the second part.
The following day I e mailed my contact at the company telling them what happened and to see if they can look into this and get back to me on why, as it caused us some issues the day of the wedding (having to wait to start and then losing time at the happy hour) When I returned from my honeymoon I was quite disturbed when I had not received an e mail back so I followed up again. Again no reply for another week (we are now at +15 days from my first email the day after the event) Finally I heard from the Director of Operations saying that my contact has been OOO (for 15 days must be nice) and they will Personally look into this for me. I have yet to hear anything back from ANYONE including the Director of Ops. This is very disappointing as I am at +35 days and 3 follow ups from my initial e mail and have yet to have any meaning full follow-up!
Again disappointed with day of driver actions causing a half hour delay and missing half of cocktail hour and VERY disappointed with the administration end on their customer service post getting your money.
I would NOT suggest using them! Especially if you just need them for a single trip as they are after your money and do not care about quality of service or customer satisfaction.
