David was wonderful, we highly recommend him. He performed our processional and recessional music and entertained us for 3 hours at our reception. Everyone loved David! He read the crowd well and played songs that kept everyone on the dance floor. He is a masterful guitar player, with a great voice!! He also played some banjo for us and even lead some line dancing! He hit it out of the ballpark, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our choice of entertainment for our special day. We were very appreciative of his graciously letter a friend of ours who plays professional sax sit in on a couple of songs. A true class act. If you book David, congratulations because you are half way there to having the wedding of your dreams. -

I was greatly impressed by David. The entire process of working with him was everything I hoped for- he was easy to get in contact with whenever I had questions prior to my wedding, he was entertaining and the music he played was perfect. I had numerous compliments and would highly recommended him. -

David played for our niece's beach wedding and it was hands down the best wedding/dance party EVER! From the acoustic guitar music for her walk down the sandy isle, their first dance, funky fun daddy daughter dance, to dancing till the wee hours of the night, David made it happen! Couldn't have been more pleased! -

Awesome! Perfect vibe! David listened to what we wanted and followed through by providing just that......and I am picky. All of our guests had great things to say and we had fun. -

David played at my husband's 50th birthday party. He was really terrific. Played all the music I requested and didn't play music that I indicated I didn't care for. He learned a song for us that he didn't know, but was special to us. Just great. You will not be disappointed. -

David was amazing. Traveling over 600 miles to our event. On time, great music, during breaks he played music to our liking from his play list. We even had him stay the night in our home. Wonderful guy. Would love to have him back anytime! -

David is an amazing performer. He really can do it all! He has a great singing voice, and he truly is an accomplished musician with a wealth of experience to give him credibility. Also, he's just an all-around great guy. I recommend David for any event needing a singer/guitarist! -

Not only did he do a great job overall with a wide variety of music at the bridal reception, he also handled the cocktail and dinner music. Excellent,Excellent,Excellent! Letting one great talent take care of all the music for the evening saved us a ton of money . He deserves 10 stares not 5.

David Payton was the perfect choice for my dad's retirement party! He played a good variety of music and also took requests! Everyone at the party was impressed!
His communication before the event was fast. Every email or call answered. He showed up on time and was happy to be helping us out with our party!
I would recommend David Payton for any size party... Large or small. -

We have known David Payton for well over 15 years. He is a very gifted, talented man. He has a stage presence that will leave you smiling & wanting to hear more!! David has performed several events for me over the years. He is a masterful musician and very professional. I guess what is most important about David, he is genuine, moral, human being. Funny, I first met David 23 years ago when calling his agency. I was very surprised when he answered the phone (so others could go out to lunch). I consider it a privilege to call David my friend.

David Payton played at my Engagement Party. We weren't sure who and what a great decision that turned out to be for us. He was so flexible and low-maintenence, and best of all when it came time for him to play he absolutely crushed it !! Not only is he ultra-talented, accommodating and professional, but also can adapt to any situation. My family and friends are filled with musicians, music teachers, skeptics and aspiring artists and they are still talking about his performance and asking me when we will have him play for us again. I wished I had caught more of his performance, but what I did hear made me want to dance and we certainly did a lot of dancing. Tons of great memories were made, we are very grateful. Highly recommend. Fantastic, Mr Payton ! -
