Photography was beautiful
My husband and I stumbled upon David Paul photography about 2 years ago. We saw some of his pictures online and we decided to give him a call. He drove an hour to meet with us and show us his portfolio. He was kind and his work was outstanding. We didn’t really need to meet with any other photographers. We knew he was going to be the one we used! He shot our engagement photos and they turned out spectacular. He was so quick to getting us our edited photos and during the shoot his creativity was great. David also shot a boudoir shoot for me so that I could give my husband a wedding gift. A lot of women may be hesitant to have a man shoot their boudoir but David was extremely professional and never made me feel uncomfortable. The day of our wedding, he was so flexible and made sure to get all of the pictures that we had requested. My husband and I just got married 2 days ago and we already have 30 edited images. I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. His creativity, professionalism, thoroughness, attention to detail, and his personality are so wonderful. Thank you so much David for being a part of our special day! -

I have had the extreme privilege and pleasure of working with David Paul Photography on two separate occasions, my sister’s wedding and my daughter’s wedding. David was attentive to the needs and wants of the bride and groom during both occasions. He has a very keen eye for beautiful, unique photographs and takes the time to make sure the moments that make memories are captured for a lifetime. I could not be more pleased with my experience or the results. If you want an experience with a photographer that is as memorable as your photos, David Paul Photography is the clear choice! -

David is the ultimate professional. He made everyone feel at ease, captured the candid moments and artistically arranged the formal shots for our wedding. He was incredibly responsive throughout the planning process. Not to mention our photos were ready in one week! He captured the emotions of the moments and made sure things ran smoothly. He was also incredibly kind and generous with our videographer - our 12 year old nephew who was so excited to video the wedding. David is a master of lighting - finding beautiful backgrounds and backlight to create the perfect shots. The pictures were beyond my wildest hopes. He is talented, dedicated, and above all, kind. It was an honor to work with him!! -

David did an amazing job as the photographer at my daughter Erica's wedding Aug 31,2019. He was very professional and was the hardest working photographer I've ever seen. The photos are gorgeous. I would hire him again in a heartbeat!!
He's also very personable and great to work with. -

User3476921 Sent on 05/08/2018Shared a Pinterest board with him months ahead of time with very detailed photos. On the day of the wedding, we also provided a specific list of shots we wanted of the two of us in addition to shots of the family. Half of the family shots someone is looking away or adjusting their tie, many of the list of the bride and groom shots were completely missed. As far as the pictures themselves? You know what they say, If you can't do it right, do it in black and white!
Professionalism and communication were great before the wedding and during. When confronted about the photo quality and the missed photos, he refused to take any responsibility- saying it was our fault that we decided not to have a second shooter and that our family was too large (we had 75 people at the wedding). Since he knew what photos we wanted months ahead of time, if he couldn't do the shots we wanted, I feel we should have been informed.
After an hour-long discussion he finally gave us a meagre refund of under 15%. If you can, please shop around before paying his high prices! The Album Epoca books are nice, but he's not the only photographer who offers them. Detailed shots that should be standard in a $3000 photographer were not there, professionalism was not there, quality of service overall was mediocre at best.
