Wonderful photographer!

David was absolutely wonderful to work with, we are so fortunate that we chose him as our wedding photographer! We had an engagement session with him so we knew our photos would be amazing, but our wedding pictures exceeded our expectations and are absolutely perfect! David and his assistant Bryan were so polite, friendly, and professional, they truly felt like family. He was able to capture all of the special moments and more from our wedding day! We can't say enough good things and are so incredibly grateful that we will have wonderful memories to cherish forever. If you are looking for a wedding photographer, look no further! Creative, close attention to detail, patient!

David is a great guy and a fabulous photographer. He is easy to work with and had so many great ideas for picture perfect shots.
He was an incredibly hard worker and he and his assistant kept up with everyone dancing their tails off at the wedding reception!
We would highly recommend and use again!

Flawless photos and easy to work with!

Highly recommend this vendor. What impressed me the most is how they blended in. They weren't obtrusive or in the way at all, yet they caught every moment! They we're easy going and to the point. I couldn't have asked for a better team to capture my day!

Best Pictures Ever!

David Kidwell was very polite and a fabulous photographer. He was very friendly from the start and gave us straightforward information. He made our wedding day all about us and worked as hard as possible to get all of our needs met— which he succeeded in doing! I would highly recommend David as your photographer, you won't regret it!!

So glad we chose David!

As soon as we met David, we knew we wanted him to be our wedding photographer! He was extremely easy to work with and made planning out our picture times so easy. The final photos were amazing! He captured our wedding day beautifully and our album is absolutely gorgeous! We love looking back at all of pictures and are so glad that we chose David to capture one of the best days of our lives!

Totally Amazing!

David and his assistant we both amazing! And our pictures are even more amazing! They both arrived early on our wedding day and were total professionals. Every time we turned around there they were- taking more pictures than we had imagined! Our families love both of them and everybody at the wedding seemed very comfortable with them. We highly recommend David!

David was awesome to work with. We met him at the Stroudsmoor Country Inn wedding show. His prices were pretty amazing, which is the first reason we went with him. I also liked how he incorporated 2 extra albums; my mother and MIL loved them as gifts!

My husband and I were not into engagement photos; we just are not the type of people to take "staged" pictures I guess? To compensate, David came and captured moments of our rehearsal dinner, which was so nice because we got more photos with our bridal party, parents and grand parents, which in my mind is more meaningful than a bunch of pictures of just us .

Anyway... the photos came out amazing and the albums were great quality. We also got the photobooth... my family is a bit crazy, so there were some x rated photos that made the book hysterical and the extra copies for the guests to take home added to the fun.

David is great to work with!! He captured all the details of the wedding that we overlooked because of how fast the night went. He works with your schedule and his prices were extremely reasonable, the best we found.

David Kidwell Photography did an incredible job at our wedding. Super organized, creative shots, professional yet relaxed demeanor. They made us comfortable and helped us feel great about ourselves.

David was a great communicator, accommodated our crazy last minute requests, and made sure we got all of the different portraits and pictures we wanted. He remained flexible throughout the day and evening as plans were forced to change, and ensured we have memories that will last a lifetime.

Most importantly, perhaps, the pictures came out great! It was a true pleasure to work with them.

My husband and I were married last June and David Kidwell was our photographer. David was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process! From the booking, through the planning and preparation, and finally to capturing our big day, he was wonderful. He answered any and all questions I had and we communicated throughout the entire planning process, so he knew exactly what we wanted. He had the most reasonable prices out of all the photographers that we looked into, and his package offered us the most for our money. We are thrilled that we chose David as our photographer. Our pictures turned out beautiful and I am so happy that we have these photos to look back on our special day for years to come! We could not wait to share our beautiful album with family and friends, all thanks to David!

David did a fantastic job at our wedding! All our photos are excellent, from the posed group photos to the candids at the reception. I was especially impressed at how he was there every time at the reception when there was a moment I wanted to capture! David and his assistant were so helpful and instrumental in capturing all the moments of our wedding. Our pictures were beautiful and really captured moments of the wedding so we felt like we were in every moment.

David did a great job of understanding what we wanted and even added ideas that we hadn't thought about.

I can't say enough great things about David, if you book him, you wont go wrong!

In one word, David was GREAT! We had him as our photographer for our wedding at Stroudsmoor in November. We live out of town and David made himself available to meet us when we were in town and he was very responsive over email and phone calls. It rained on our wedding day and David still made sure we got the pictures we wanted. He made us feel as ease and all the pictures we got from him we’re winderful!!

David Kidwell is a very kind, warm hearted photography who is passionate about his job. He listens, works very hard and makes all feel comfortable. If you have a very big bridal party, be prepared with lists of photos and he works fast and hard to get all requested photos.

David was such a pleasure to have at our wedding. He was attentive, organized, kept a great flow to things, and was very good at keeping a dysfunctional family in check, which was a major stress reliever on the bride. Many guests commented that he worked his butt off until the very end of the evening and took note of his professionalism and fun personality. Very happy to have him not only as our photographer but as a guest at our wedding.

We could not have been happier with David's work. The pictures are beyond gorgeous! We had/are having such a hard time choosing for our books and prints. David is very easy to work with and welcomes any ideas for shots that you might have. He truly tries his best to accommodate all of your wishes and is extremely thorough in discussing your tastes, what's important to you, what shots are must haves, etc. He showed up on time and was by our sides the entire day. He captured every aspect of the day perfectly and we only have positive things to say about his work. We very highly recommend him.

David was amazing. He was affordable, accommodating, made the whole process very easy for us and was super quick to send us our pictures on the CD. Literally 3 weeks after we got married. It was amazing. We got married in May and we got our album and prints that were included in our package last week. He always put my mind at ease and it poured down raining and was cold the entire day and we still got wonderful pictures. Highly Reccommend him!

My husband and I had a flawless experience with David. His laid back personality meshed perfectly with my wedding party and the result was a perfect day with amazing photos. David did both our engagement and wedding photos for our wedding on September 6th 2015. We could not have asked for a better photographer! He was very professional yet was fun and flexible to work with. We knew from the moment we first met with him at a restaurant in Jim Thorpe that he was the photographer that we wanted/needed! He really went above and beyond with us hiking a waterfall, walking on railroad tracks, then taking night photos throughout historic Jim Thorpe for our engagement session. We had such a fun time and our pictures reflect our personality as a couple so well! Our initial engagement photo date was rained out and he was able to reschedule us quickly! Both our engagement and wedding photos were edited and back to us within 3 weeks of each occasion! He gave great attention to detail at the wedding and ensured that he took every photo we asked him to take. He also made sure to check in with us at the end of the night to see if there were any other moments we wanted him to capture before he left (10 hours of coverage!) Everyone in the bridal party (Including us of course) loved him and he had alot of fun ideas to do with the group shots! He was very open to our suggestions which we loved! In addition, he worked great with the other vendors (videographer and DJ) and made sure to stay in the background and not interrupt the event to attain his awesome photos. He also provided us with ALOT of photos, which gave us the opportunity to choose the photos we liked best rather than the ones he assumed we would like best. We would HIGHLY recommend David Kidwell to all our family and friends looking for a great photographer who is alot of fun to work with and can produce high quality results.

We are so happy we decided to go with David for our wedding photographer! We booked him almost a year in advance and also did our engagement photos with him. That helped us all to get to know each other before the wedding. The day of the wedding he came a little early to set up the photo booth (which was a huge hit that night!), and scoped out where we could take pictures. He was great before the wedding making sure I didn't bump into my fiancé or have any of the guests see me. He got amazing shots without being in the way during the ceremony. David was up for taking any shots we wanted, and was always aware of timing. We made it to the top of the mountain at our venue, took amazing shots, and made the bumpy ride back down with plenty of time before our entrance into the reception. During the reception, he didn't miss a moment! Again, he got great shots but was never in the way. His candid shots are personally some of my favorites. He really captured the day without having to pose anyone. We got our pictures back quickly after the wedding and are still blown away by them. I would, without a doubt, recommend David for your wedding photographer!

David was the photographer for our sons wedding in June at the Shawnee Inn. He was wonderful and we love his pictures. We would highly recommend him. He was professional and not intrusive during all the festivities. He never minded the guests taking pictures when he was which is rare with wedding photographers. I thought his prices were great. I love how you can order right from his website.

David is an awesome photographer! Not only were the photos amazing (both engagement and wedding), but he was great with our guests as well. I was impressed with how he handled my 5 very energetic nieces and nephews ages 4-11! My adult guests are still talking about how great he was to stop and help them get the shot with their camera(after he got his shot, of course). David took the time to talk with my husband and I so he could capture our style in our pictures, and he nailed it! We were even done with the family/wedding photo pictures in time to enjoy our cocktail hour! For me, a wedding photographer requires more than just snapping good photos and David did an awesome job with everything! Prices are competitive, we received our proofs back in a timely manner as promised- I would highly recommend him for your special day! :)

David did a great job at our wedding and our engagement shoot. We got married on the Delaware River and he did a great job incorporating the scenery and setting. He was even able to get a shot of EVERYONE on the stairs of the Shawnee Inn, which was no small feat. One of the best things was the way he handled guests that were trying to get their own photos. He always took a second to make sure everyone got the shot that they wanted without delaying the festivities.

David Kidwell was an awesome photographer who truly made me and my husband's wedding a true pleasure and very memorable! David did such a great job photographing our wedding. Even though I was a little stressed out on the wedding day (watching the weather mainly) David was calm and helped us get all the pictures we wanted before the wedding.
He never stopped working and was there right up until the end of the night.
When I got my proofs I was amazed! They were all so good and he had pictures that we never even knew he took! We ended up ordering a wedding album even though our package didn't include it. It was simply amazing and a work of art.
I have recommended David to three of my girlfriends (including one of my bridesmaids) and I will keep recommending him!

Our wedding started off with a bang! Fortunately, David was there to capture the Rolls Royce take out my dad's garage. After that, our day was smooth sailing. David took beautiful shots of every part of our wedding day. We had the best time and many laughs along the way. I highly recommend David Kidwell to any couple planning their wedding. I had learned about Kidwell from a friend who glowed about her wedding pictures. I had seen some of his work and knew that he was talented. I loved his style. When I met Kidwell I was immediately put at ease. He is super friendly and relaxed. I felt like I was meeting with an old friend. I knew that he would use his eye for a great picture as well as take in my ideas to capture the day. On the day of the wedding, he struck the perfect blend of expert guide and invisible observer. For all of the posed shots, he made sure that everyone looked great and used his know-how to set up some really great shots. What I really appreciated though was how he was so discrete in taking candid shots. Half of the time I did not even know he was around. However, when I got the proofs I was so happy when I realized he had captured so many moments of me, my husband, and our families that were so natural. I love looking through our album- with each page memory after memory come back. I would and have recommend David Kidwell Photography to other couples.

Dave Kidwell of David Kidwell Photography captured our wedding day better than anyone could have imagined.

We had 150ish guests from all over the country with all sorts of personalities - he captured them all. Dave made everyone feel at ease and he did it all without being intrusive or pushy...the memories he captured are...simply put, are the best.

We got married in Center City Philadelphia, Dave's base is in the Poconos where my husband is from. We met Dave and knew immediately we had to have him as our photographer. He came down the morning of the wedding and met up with the guys early on - he captured the whole day from start to finish - getting ready, walking down the aisle, the bouquet toss, the last dance, even the "after party..."

I was so grateful to have him there knowing that he knew what pictures we "had to have" and what pictures we didn't know we had to have.

Simply the best, I would book him again in .2 seconds!!

If I had to pick just one thing that was absolutely perfect from our wedding, it would have to be our choice in a photographer. David did such a fantastic job on our wedding! His pictures captured the most important essence of our wedding day, a celebration of our family. I didn't want the typical wedding pictures because we didn't have a typical wedding. He responded to my request of wanting to capture the moments, the expressions and the love in a candid approach and not too many "posed" pictures, his results where breathtaking.
I highly, highly, recommend him for your special day.

We planned our wedding in 4.5 weeks and we're so happy that David was able to shoot not only our wedding, but engagement pictures as well! He was flexible, fun, and creative. We even got some great pictures in the rain. I would highly recommend him!

Finding a wedding photographer is no easy task. My fiancé and I interviewed multiple photographers throughout our planning process. The second we met David, we both looked at each other and said “he’s the one”. He made us instantly feel comfortable, he was personable, and we envisioned our families loving him. From start to finish, we kept open communication and he really listened to what we wanted. I was afraid of 2 things: missing cocktail hour which we really felt was important, and a photographer being too pushy. David agreed with us and assured we could get all of our photos in time and still enjoy cocktail hour...and he met his mark! David went with what we wanted. Even on our wedding day it was 95 degrees, and we decided to skip a few photos for the sake of our groomsman not melting, and he was totally cool with it. We wanted nighttime photos, he set everything up and pulled us at a time when we wouldn’t miss much. He kept us and our wants as his priority and that was extremely important in a photographer. We received our photos in a timely manner too! Couldn’t say more amazing things about him...you won’t be disappointed!

We hired David for our wedding and engagement photos. He was very flexible with our engagement photos because we were out of state and knew a lot of good places for nice shots. They came out great and we used them for our save the date photos.
We then had him and his assistant come to take wedding photos for us. It was nice to have two photographers to get the extra shots you might not get with just one. He worked with us to figure out times and how it would all work out. This was great because I didn't have much help planning the wedding and I enjoyed the insight from a professional. They listed to some of my requests when I had asked for specific pictures and tried to capture everyone. It took a little longer than I would have expected to get some of the photos however it was worth the wait. He was moderately priced and knows his way around a camera so hire him for your next event.

David and his additional photographer were great on the wedding day
and at the engagement photo shoot. We have tons of picture and we get
to have all electronic copies of the photos and full rights to
reproduce the photos. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars for
everything is because he requested a list of photos that I wanted to
have taken during the reception since I was going to be pulled in lots
of different directions during the reception. However almost none of
those photos were taken, in his defense I spent the majority of the
time on the dance floor and I very much appreciated that he did not
pull me away from that. However I assumed that he would casually ask
me to gather the groups while we were dancing or earlier in the
reception and he did not. We still have loads of great photos from the
day and I had a blast at my wedding. I would recommend David to a
friend getting married.

David and his team were amazing. They did not let the rain stop them from getting some amazing outdoor photos. Mike and I are amazed with how our photos came out. We can’t wait to see our video!

David photographed my wedding in September and I was very pleased with his services! David was a very calming force on my wedding day which I really appreciated. He is such a nice guy and was so pleasant to work with on that day. As most brides, I was frazzled and overwhelmed but David remained calm and was so sweet all day. I had asked David to focus mostly on candid pictures and not too much on the planned, posed pictures which is EXACTLY what he did. In hindsight, I really missed out on some pictures that I really wanted. However, I can't blame David for that because it was what I had asked for! Be very specific if you want certain combinations of people in pictures and write it all down and I am sure he will make sure to get them. I did mention to David a few shots that I really wanted to get but unfortunately we never did ie. A group picture of the whole wedding, a picture of both families all together etc. I suggest writing everything down and sending to him ahead of time for review, which I did not do, so I only had myself to blame.

On another note, my father passed away 4 days after my wedding and one of the first things I did was reach out to David to let him know so he could make sure to save and send me ALL pictures of my dad taken that day. He also sent me tons of pictures that same day of my dad for me to use at the funeral which I really appreciated. He was more than happy to do so and was very accommodating.

I would definitely recommend David. He is very affordable and as long as you are very specific with what pictures you want you will get exactly what you want!

David Kidwell photographed parts of our wedding day BEAUTIFULLY. The photojournalist elements in the pictures are magical, beautiful, and certainly tell a wonderful story. David followed us through the events of the day, from the church to Main Street to the Stroudsmoor and captured many moments without stopping to pose for pictures. The pictures look natural, real, and most importantly, capture the essence of the day.

I recommend David Kidwell to anyone who is looking for beautiful photographs at a reasonable cost.

My son was the groom. My only request was table pictures so I would be sure to have a picture of everyone in attendance. We got a picture of each table without people, My biggest suggestion no matter who your photographer is ... if you want a picture make sure you discuss with photographer.

I would recommend David Kidwell's photography for any couple's upcoming wedding and/or special event! He did a fantastic job shooting our fall wedding! We were very pleased with our photos!
