Unique and Memorable!

You MUST hire David as your Wedding MC/DJ. His additional to our wedding made our day truly unique. Every review mentions the "Love Story" because it is so special. David took our stories and melted them together to create an enjoyable experience for us & our guests. Every guest mentioned this was one of the highlights of the wedding.

On top of all that, we really wanted a unique experience of Karaoke at our wedding! David owned the night bringing all the equipment for our guests to sing their hearts out all night long.

Probably the best vendor decision we made was hiring David Hoyt!!

Hiring David to officiate our wedding and DJ/MC our wedding reception was one of the best experiences that we had throughout our entire wedding process! We want to thank you so so so much for giving us the best wedding. Everyone complimented on what a fantastic job you did. We all loved the Love Story and how it was tied into the first dance. David was central to the planning of our wedding. At our very first meeting he went over everything he provided and how he would make our wedding memorable. Although our wedding was very small and in the morning he assured us he had done similar ones and he would do everything he could to make sure our guests would enjoy our long awaited celebration. He was also very accommodating regarding fees. We were a little hesitant about the Love Story as we had met long ago, went separate ways, had families and then found each other again. We wanted to be tasteful with our grown children. David did an absolutely fabulous job putting it together - our friends and family (even our kids!) really enjoyed it - it certainly was one of the most memorable parts of a day that was so special to us! David is so much more than a DJ or entertainment director - he will help you create a ceremony and celebration that is completey unique to you -not one of those 'cookie cutter' wedding receptions we've all attended dozens of times. Weddng planning is crazy and overwhelming whether you have 20 guests or 200. David's experience and fun personality is perfect to take the stress out of one of the biggest parts of your specal day and we knew it the moment we met him. Thank you so much David - you are AWSOME!

When we first met David we didn't realize that we would be meeting one of the most important people in the planning and execution of our wedding. When we met with David he went over everything he was able to provide and how he would make our wedding memorable. To be honest, we felt completely overwhelmed. We met with a few other DJs but once you get a taste for filet mignon, ground beef just won't do.

David was able to work with us on his fees due to our budget and we had a DJ. David really made an effort to get to know us as a couple. We even joined his family and him for dinner. He was also readily available for us to bounce ideas around. He even sent us a book on how to take our reception to the next level. Additionally, he went above and beyond by introducing us to our photographer and helping us locate other vendors when needed. David was also able to officiate our wedding and this friendship we built with him allowed for his words to have a deeper meaning to us.

One of the major things that sets David apart from other DJs is his telling of our Love Story. This was a memorable moment in our reception and we loved that everyone who attended our wedding got to hear the story of our relationship. The amount of work that goes into it is apparent and we can't imagine our day without it.

David was so much more than a DJ/MC/Officiant. He is an absolute ASSET to your wedding day. Everything ran so smoothly and we had nothing to worry about the entire evening. Our wedding was the best day of our lives and without a doubt, David played a huge role in that. After being such an integral part of our day, it is impossible that we will not remain life long friends.

David stepped in really last minute when we were when we needed to make a change with the previous DJ and it was amazing he made sure I was comfortable with him, he made sure that we were having a good time he continuously checked in with me; it was just really amazing working with him and he went above and beyond being accommodating I would definitely recommend him.

I will be upfront and say that I have known David for a few years now and have been in attendance to several of his events at church and even my wife's birthday. All of the events, however small, were done to perfection with a true passion for entertaining. David takes the time and money to train and hone his craft on a regular basis with top DJs from around the world, and it shows. For this reason we chose to hire him for our friend's wedding as their wedding present. There is a great difference between cost and value. Dave was not the cheapest guy out there, however he is worth every penny and then some. I have heard him talk about the "Love Story" he does and was interested to hear one that we knew. He has the gift of story telling. Hands down, the love story was worth the entire fee by itself. If you do your part, and answer the questions, he will craft your own words into the story you wish you could tell yourself. The audience laughed and the bride beamed as the story flowed from the first time they met to the seats where they sat listening to their own story. It was the best wedding gift we could have given. In short, you could spend $500 on a DJ like I have in the past, and regret every penny; or spend the extra and have a wedding story you and your guests will never forget.

David was absolutely amazing to work with. The first time I spoke with him on the phone I told him that music was one of the most important aspects about our wedding and he agreed 100% and was just as excited as I was about the wedding. That was one of the first things that impressed me about him. When we met him for the first time he was so professional and we really liked that he didn't charge by hourly blocks, he told us that didn't make sense and he was ours for the evening because where else was he going to go? That pretty much had us sold. We had a very long play list, and he did his best to play a lot of the songs we wanted. He did a great job at reading the vibe of our guests and keeping them out on the dance floor and he accepted EVERY request that our guests gave him at the reception. I love love love that he found the song that I wanted to walk down the aisle to, I told him it HAD to be a specific version of a song and he found it!! Along with him finding my song coming down the aisle though, I love the personal details he put in to everything... for the grand entrance, he didn't just introduce our wedding party , he told short stories about them all that we had shared with him. And one of my favorite parts of the whole day was listening to our love story. To any brides/grooms considering another DJ - don't do it.... when you hear about the love story, and then finally get to hear your own story on your wedding day you'll realize you made the best decision ever hiring David. He was also very helpful when we were planning, we had a very DIY wedding, and he would check in occasionally to see if we needed help with anything. He also helped to put my husband's mind at ease about wearing a microphone during the ceremony, which was much needed, the poor guy was stressing out a lot. If we could do the wedding 100 times over, we would ask David to be our DJ every time!!! He is incredible!!

Last night was perfect! Thank you for fulfilling all of our hopes and dreams when it comes to the music played! My guests LOVED your playlist! Even the people at the venue ranted and raved about how you were one of the best DJ's they have seen and heard at their venue. For that, thank you. You made our night unforgettable. Also, you NAILED the love story! I'll be honest I was skeptical at first, but after hearing it with our loved ones surrounding us, you told the story perfect so everybody could understand our love story. Again, this was something else throughout the night that became a conversation starter with some guests who said "I had no idea that happened" or "I loved that your DJ did that! It was great!"

All I can say is, thank you. Thank you for an unforgettable night for Ricky, myself and our awesome guests.

David was our DJ and EMCEE for our wedding in Pinetop, AZ last summer. We were putting off booking a DJ because we didn't really know what we wanted to go with in terms of band vs DJ and someone local to Pinetop or bring someone up from Phoenix. We are so glad that we met with David and booked him for our out of town wedding. We met with him once to go over booking, then a second time to go over the final wedding details. He is extremely professional and has the couples best interests at heart, which is something we found to be rare in some of or interviewing of other vendors. He recommended that when we meet with other DJs to ask "how they tell the story of how you met", when we did ask other DJ's they kind of stumbled on the question as though they had never heard of such a thing. The day of the wedding (15 minutes before the ceremony) it POURED down rain, we had zero backup plan for the event of flooding. David (as well as our other vendors) teamed up to come up with backup ideas of when we can make up the wedding. Ultimately my husband and I said that if (when) it stops raining we wanted to get married according to original plan. David was accommodating in moving his equipment to multiple locations around the venue to where the music could be best heard as well as to where it would be kept out of harms way. Everyone danced all night long and had an amazing time, the rain stopped and the play list was phenomenal as well as he was respectful in not playing any music that was on our do no play list and made a point of keeping in the themes of todays music and the music we wanted played most. He has since done a friends wedding and is doing another friend's wedding this coming September. We recommend him at every chance we get!

More than just a positive review, my husband and I would like to personally thank David Hoyt for making our wedding celebration absolutely perfect. Brides and Grooms...look at me...just look...I cannot express how comforting it was to know that amidst all of the chaos and stress leading up to the wedding and during the ceremony/reception, David had our back. I witnessed David Hoyt in action while I was the maid of honor at my best friend's wedding, and even though I was pretty sure I wanted him at my wedding, I still interviewed other DJ/MC services. The overall feeling I got from the other DJs was this completely generic and cheesy club thumping vibe. David has the knowledge, experience, and professionalism to make your celebration a fun and interactive experience for all guests, from infants to great grandparents. His personal touches made our day feel so special and we consider him part of the family now. Choosing David Hoyt as not only our DJ/MC but our officiant as well was the best decision we made for our wedding. It was a truly phenomenal experience and my husband and I cannot express in words how grateful we are to David for delivering the wedding of our dreams.

David was our officiant as well as our MC/DJ at our reception. As our officiant, he took all the comments and requests I made seriously, and did exactly what I asked. On our wedding day, we were blown away by everything else he added to the exerts we chose because he really understood our personalities, our relationship and the vibe that we were going for. The thought that he put into it all was outstanding, I could not have hoped for a better ceremony. At our ceremony, we could not have amplified music, so we had a vocalist and guitarist, and David worked very well with us and the performers to accomplish what we wanted. He was always available to answer all of my emails that I bombarded him with and replied every time within an hour, if not minutes. He is an absolute professional with a ton of knowledge in his industry.
As for the MC/DJ side of David, he again exceeded our expectations with the love story that he began our reception with. He has both the bride and groom answer questions separately without reading the other person's and send them to him prior to the wedding. Prior to actually hearing it, I was skeptical about how it might come off corny, but that was not at all the case. He blended our two stories flawlessly. I think it allowed all of our guests to feel a more personal connection to our love story and of course, we all had a few laughs in there as well. Since David was also our officiant, we signed the marriage license during the reception in front of all of our guests, which was a great personal touch and different from any wedding I have been to. And while, we were very particular about the music we wanted played at our cocktail hour and reception, David did a great executing our vision and controlling the flow of the reception. After the wedding, one of the things we are being complimented on the most is the work of David as both an officiant and DJ, and specifically for his work on the love story!

David was a dream come true, the first time he talked to us we immediately knew he was the DJ for us. He explained all that he would do for us and everything was tailored to what we wanted; he made time for us whenever we wanted to add anything or make changes. One the day of, David knocked it out of the park! We got every song we asked for, but he was also the most wonderful MC, he kept things flowing before and during the ceremony and kept the reception moving so there was no "what is going on now" time. He checked in with my husband and I constantly, making sure we knew what was going on and what would be coming up next (which was very needed because I was in wedded bliss mode and would not have been able to focus on any of it!) The wedding guests danced from the first song to the very end of the night and David was able to play something for everyone. When you are looking at DJ's, invest in David. He will give you the personal touches you didn't know you needed and will make your wedding reception a PARTY! Thank you, David, it was a perfect night.

I am proud to say that My husband and I are the first couple ever to be married by Mr. David Hoyt. At my wedding he played double duty. Not only did he officiate but be was also the DJ. He made my wedding sound so magical with music but he gave the perfect ceremony!.
As on Officiant: He was poised, well spoken, and knew how to make us feel comfortable standing in front of everyone. He knew how to run the ceremony and timed everything perfectly. During the rehearsal, he balanced fun with getting everyone to remember everything and know their timing. He was a great at working with the vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page at the same time.
As a DJ: He was the best! During the ceremony he couldn’t man the dj booth of course but he had a lovely assistant played by his wife join us that day. She knew how to rock it lol. She made sure the songs started in the right places at the right times. At the reception, David made sure the difficult names were pronounced right, and made sure the music was on point at the right spot at the right time and on time. He announced our brunch service perfectly. David helped us play all our wedding games and made it fun for everyone. He kept with the vibe of the wedding and played the appropriate music for that vibe. He made sure the music was appropriate for the type of crowd we had. During the planning process, David guided us through the process and answered any and every question. He was very organized – you need that in any good vendor!
I would choose David Hoyt Entertainment without a doubt every time. If I have any other events that I need a DJ he is my first and only call.

David was an awesome DJ! He really took the time to get to know us and work with us. He helped us schedule out our entire night and pick songs for different events during our reception. We had a first dance remix where we did a crazy dance with our wedding party and I couldn't have asked for a better dance. He worked with us on making sure we had just what we wanted and everything was timed just right. Everyone at our wedding loved him. He made everything so personable. A lot of our wedding guests thought he was actually related to us. He really knew how to read the crowd and play a huge variety of music. If you are looking for someone who is professional, friendly, fun, and that can entertain a wide variety of people, David is definitely your man! We would absolutely use him for future events!

David was amazing. truly made our wedding the event of the year at least, there were even a couple changes we made the day of the wedding, which I would not recommend, but sometimes it happens and David didn't even bat an eyelash, he took care of everything. With David I didn't have to worry about anything but being there and having fun, he communicated so well with everyone, and all the aspects of the wedding. STOP LOOKING YOU'VE FOUND THE RIGHT MC!

Dave helped make the most important day of our lives so beautiful and memorable. He was very helpful and had lots of suggestions and ideas for the layout of the reception, games to play, or songs to pick when we had no clue. He provided the perfect amount of energy to keep the party going as well as being personable with other guests. He followed through with every one of my requests, as well as a few my mother threw in on her own. Can't say enough about this wonderful man the extraordinary services he provides. David is the best DJ I have ever hired or seen in action. His light heartedness and fun personality really shows when he's behind the mic. Dave was the best ever! He guided the whole night and really knew how to read what the crowd wanted. I was getting compliments left and right about what a great DJ he is. LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEED! Dave! He was so awesome! AAAANY song I wanted was put on immediately after the next song and my family LOVED him as well! He let my mom and Uncle Karaoke even though there was no screen and my mom and uncle made complete IDIOTS of themselves he was always so nice to hand them the mic if they asked. Im sure if i told him to cut him off he wouldve though hahaa he was just great! Our WHOLE wedding theme was music so it was important obviously to have a great DJ! DJ and photographer are the most important things to have on your wedding day! It may seem like a lot of money (wedding hoopla in general!) But so worth it! In fact, i believe that Dave was very affordable! HE KNOWS WHAT HES DOING! Hes got high tech equipment! And really knows how to work with it! And we had music from the grateful dead and the doors to britney spears and justin beiber to jay z and kayne to bon jovi and Lady GAGA! I loooved that he had anything and everything i wanted or NEEDED to hear! What i also love love loved about Dave was that he played games during dinner which i know my friends and family LOVED cause they told me! lol but it wasnt just your typical get up table number one go eat! SOO much fun and that way it wasnt like half the room got served ate and waited while the others ate! He was just amazing! I also like that he asked us what he needed to wear. and he didnt take it into his own hands as to what to wear. not that i would have cared but it was NICE that the asked so he could too, keep in with our red and black theme! He was there on time. In fact i think he was there before me haha He had everything set up! Now, mind you. i didnt have you typical wedding march down the asile. I walked down to November rain by guns and roses and i only wanted a certain section to be played. No words just music and only a certain time and he got it all PERFECT! I was sooo happy with it. and it took longer then i expect for me to walk down the aisle so i was NERVOUS beyond belief! But nope, as i heard it loop i KNEW Dave came prepared! OHHHH, and the BEST part was that he was a 'friend' of my husbands. So i was scared to use him because you KNOW as well as i do YOU NEVER get amazing service from your friends. I dont feel they put 110% into as they would a complete stranger but He DEFINITELY did! Cant say the same for my other 'friend' who helped out in a big part of the wedding....BUT!!! Hes classy, elegant, fun, talented and a very very knowledgeable about his profession!! So rest assured brides, you DEFINITELY made the right choice by picking Dave!

DJ Dave was amazing and handled our wedding with care; was fun and knew exactly what to do all night. I seriously just trusted him to pull through and make my wedding night that much more special. He's the professional! Dave you rocked it & we will always remember you DJing for us!!!! We had no issues at all! It helped meeting up a few times before the big day; giving you lists of music to play and then again just trusting you would fill in the gaps... Again wonderful-amazing job done!

Dave was terrific -- people danced all night. I even danced all night and I am not a dancer. WHy? Because he listened to everything I wanted and then just made it better. Every single person at our wedding said the DJ was the best they had ever seen. He really is. Even the best weddings I have been choked on the music. I'd hire Dave again for anything!

Dave was great! We met him at a friend's wedding and loved his laid back style and knew he would be great for our wedding. Planning the music with him was great, he did exactly all of the music we wanted and the dance floor was PACKED right up until the end! We didn't want any of the silly games or gimmicks and we ended up getting great music, right on time announcing/MC-ing and everything really flowed great. Our officiant even left his Bible behind and Dave picked it up and met us a few weeks later to give it back! I would definitely recommend him! He definitely helped make the day (and the planning leading up to it) stress-free!

Dave Hoyt is a delight. Our wedding music was very important to me, and he absolutely came through for us, from our first dance to special requests. There's nothing glib or intrusive about his service. In fact, he keeps an eye on the proceedings and makes sure that the appropriate music and announcements are made at exactly the right time. He is a warm, good natured person who added a wonderful extra element to our day.

David DJ'ed my wedding June 20th, 2009. David has been a friend of mine for over 6 years now so my review does warrant some
thought of bias. However, since he did host my wedding he deserves my honest review the same as anyone else.
Honestly i was worried because of the "friend" element involved. It would be very natural even expected, to be more comfortable
with us, than with a new customer.
If I had any regrets it would be of me having that doubt in my mind, for even a second. David was by far over anything I could have
expected. He not only D'Jed my wedding, he was solely responsible for it running as smoothly and as stress free as it did. Thus, allowing
my wife and I to enjoy that expedited time to its fullest. His professionalism with guests and the event as a whole was impeccable and
truly without flaw. Thank you Dave, as this experience you gave me on this special day only solidifies our friendship even more.

Dave will meet with you almost anytime/anywhere to plan out the music you like and want to hear during the entire wedding. He is the best DJ that I have ever come in contact with. EZ/AZ DJ Services is first-class! Dave won us over with his outstanding professionalism, people skills, and customer service. He is very willing to work around the busiest of wedding-planning schedules meeting us or talking on the phone at our convenience. Being very organized, he provided us a detailed questionnaire for us to fill out that help to outline the entire reception. This was great since we
just told him what we wanted during the reception, and he made it all happen so that we could be hands-off the day of and enjoy the reception. When we weren't sure of some areas, Dave provided some great suggestions for us to choose from. We were also pleasantly surprised that he took the time and initiative to contact our other vendors (hotel, florist, photographer, etc.) to introduce himself and establish a rapport while laying out his plans to ensure we have a stress and problem-free reception. His setup was well done, it sounded very good, and he was outstanding at keeping the party going while on schedule. Best of all, we got such professional

A friend of ours Recommended David as they also used him for thier daughters wedding. We could not have been happier. He helped Mike and I on setting time lines and choosing songs for certain dances. He listened to us and was very flexible. He was so accomidating as we are both very busy ppl and David came to our home to work with us. Steve and I hired David to be our DJ at our wedding. We had called on the references that he had given on hs web site and found them all to really like David. So we set an appointment to go over what we wanted and needed for our wedding. When David got to the house he was so helpful we really liked him from the start. Than I was very impressed with David when he suggested that I come to a reception he was doing and see how he worked he said he would have to check with the bride andbroom to see if it would be alright which is was. My maid of honor and I drove out to the reception and found David to be very on top of everything. From that point on I knew we had made the right choice. The evening of our reception was great David and my husband had went over the music list which he had all the music we wanted. We had such a great time. I would 100% hire David for any event I was going to be doing in the future. David did such a wonderful job. I was not the typical bride who focused on every detail, I didn't decide much on my music. He was so patient and understanding, and he did such an awesome job! All my guests commented on how much they enjoyed the reception, especially the music and dancing. I don't even know where to begin with David. He is spectacular! When meeting with him you see how much he not only enjoys what he does, but understands how crucial his job is to maintain energy at your wedding, and have things run smoothly. He has the highest level of professionalism and treats your every wish and concern as if it were his own. We were not super picky, but we also had no definitive vision of what we wanted or what to expect and David brought a vision, advice, and calmness to the whole process. I was never concerned about the series of events throughout our whole wedding because we asked him to be our officiant too. He took our input and got to know us to make our ceremony one of a kind. During our reception our dance floor was NEVER empty and the events we wanted flowed together perfectly. Now here is the NUMBER ONE reason why you need David... the Love Story. I had never seen or heard of this unique event at a wedding (and I have been to a lot of weddings). This is what sold us on David hands down, long before we even got into the planning. The Love Story is the only time during my wedding I wish I had a videographer, to not only capture our reactions and expressions, but all of our guests as well. I want to relive the telling of it everyday. I had people tell me they never laughed and cried so much at the same time. If you want your guests to truly embrace what your wedding day is all about, which is the celebration of the love of the bride and groom, then you NEED the Love Story. I think it just completely rounded out our wedding with everyone having a better understanding of us, and our journey together.

I wanted a fun reception that felt like party and that is what Dave delivered! The dance floor was never empty! He had wonderful ideas to keep the party going and made sure to check in with my husband and I through the night to let us know what would be happening next. David is truly an example of what is good about our counrty, small business, and it's connection to the community. I "literally" just tripped across David while looking for a DJ to help celebrate my Girl Scout toop's Bridging Ceremony. " a very big deal for those unaware" I was working with a limited budget and a bit nervous we would not be able to afford these services. I was shocked and literally brought to tears when I received a response from David offering his services to the girls at the "cost" of a few boxes of Girl Scout cookies. He mentioned he was an Eagle Scout (WOW) and understood the significance of this right of passage for the girls. He was professional,fun, attentive with out being invasive, his set up was great, and he related well to the kids as well as the adults. David is the perfect mix of professionalism and a kind heart. I would highly recommend him to anyone with confidence.

David is such an awesome person in general! My husband and I are both awkward, young college students and we were afraid we were going to get ripped off in the DJ area of our wedding. Then we found Dave! Talking to him was so helpful and effortless. He kept me calm and was laughing with my hubby in most of our meetings! He is super personable and knows his profession well. He was a blessing for us and I would most definitely recommend him! Not one thing went wrong. Happy weddin' everyone!

Dave provided us with value priceed DJ services, and the ceremony music he emailed me was exxcellent. Unfortunately, Dave played some music that I had changed and my wife Kathy confirmed that our new song we informed Dave for 1st dance wasn't played at all. A John Lagin song was played when we entered the reception hall but I had deleted this choice from our list and it was still played. Requests for songs and ideas were not honored and he didn't keep people dancing on the floor as he changed genre of music and Dave had given some folks a poor response to their requests. I'm sorry Dave but you were average not great.
