Perfect Day

Caroline and Jerry were amazing! We found them at a bridal show in North Jersey and I know right then I wanted them for our wedding. They caught all the moments we wanted and then some and were a joy to work with all day! I couldn't wait to see our photos after and they did not disappoint, I am so glad we chose David Eric to capture all our special moments.

Stunning Photos, Amazing Experience, Within Budget

Finding a high quality wedding photographer that is also reasonably priced and within budget was hard. David Eric photography was not only within budget, but also exceeded all of our expectations. From the initial meeting, Jerry and Caroline were attentive and helpful. A few weeks before the wedding, Jerry called me and went over every single detail of the wedding day to make sure that times, locations, and specifics were worked out so that on the actual wedding day everything went seamlessly without any confusion.

On the wedding day, they showed up on time ready to go. It was nice having two photographers because Caroline was able to shoot photos of the girls getting ready while Jerry was with the guys. We had a very limited amount of time after the wedding and before the reception to take photos with the family, wedding party, and our formal shots, but Jerry and Caroline shot all of the photos we wanted with plenty of time to spare.

When we got the photos back, we were overwhelmed with the quantity and quality of the photos. We had almost a thousand images and each one was absolutely perfect. My husband and I were really impressed with the timeliness of receiving the edited images (about two weeks after the wedding) and the quality of each photo.

Without a doubt, we will be using David Eric Photography for all of our photography needs in the future. I highly recommend David Eric to anyone who’s looking for high quality photography within a reasonable price range.

The best experience......

Jerry and Caroline were phenomenal. They were able to work with our crazy schedule and even did our engagement shoot a month before our wedding so we could have photographs to display at the cocktail hour. Their Professionalism and Flexibilty Put Me at Ease.

We first met Gerry at an engagement photoshoot we won at an event. We clicked with him right away, and he was more than willing to work around our schedule before the shoot, take pictures in different areas and with our Nintendo 3Ds's as props during the shoot.

After the photoshoot we met at their office to look at the photos and go over their offering's with Caroline. We also clicked with Caroline, as she was very knowledgeable and patient with us. The photography and photo albums were very important to us, so we were especially pleased with the care and craftsmanship that goes into the album. Caroline designs it herself, and keeps you involved in the design process so it comes out just right!

On top of the level of detail that goes into the photography and the album, we were also thrilled that Gerry and Caroline are a photography duo. On the day of, Caroline spent the morning with me, and Gerry with my now husband.

Having this team at my back for the wedding, I didn't worry at all about photography, leading up to the wedding, nor on the day of. There was just a lot of trust there, which I am so thankful for! And of course, we have so many amazing photos with them, and we would work with them again in a heartbeat!

David Eric Photography was beyond professional. They had done my best friend's wedding last year and I saw how organized they were so I decided to use them for my own wedding, without even going to anyone else. Jerry and Caroline are such a great team! Our engagement and wedding picture came out perfect and was everything we hoped for. David Eric takes amazing, high quality photographs. The options are endless when creating your wedding and engagement albums. Caroline and Jerry are AMAZING!! From the moment we walked into David Eric, we knew they were going to be our photographers for our wedding. Caroline and Jerry are professional and courteous in every way. They made us feel extremely comfortable from the moment we met them. i honestly could not have imagined working with a better couple! from the moment i walked into their studio i felt comfortable with them, they are just so friendly! they did our engagement photos and our wedding and they were just great. they helped with anything they could! it rained on my wedding day so they scheduled another day to do mine and my husbands photos at the location we picked! we just got the proofs back and i have to say it is so hard to pick which ones should go in the album because they are all beautiful! i would recommend them to anyone who wants quantity and quality! they never made me feel like they were there only for the money, they were there because this is their passion!

WOW!! Jerry and Caroline are exactly the team of photographers you want for your wedding day and pre-wedding day needs. They are truly fantastic in their photography and design. They have been in business for so long and are always up to date on the newest, latest, and greatest in photography trends. Jerry and Caroline give you personal attention from day one and they make sure that your happy from day one. Since we did my engagement photos, up until a few days ago when I got all of my proofs from my wedding day, every photo is fantastic. They are so beautiful and worth every penny that we spent. They are very fair in their pricing and there is a lot of value in their packages. On the day of the wedding, they were not confused about what shots to take of me or my husband. They knew exactly what needed to be done and when. They were organized and everyone in my family knew that they are true professionals. They are fun, light-hearted people who really enjoy what they do. Jerry and Caroline have assistants that will help them fluff your dress and make sure you look beautiful at all times. That to me, was the best part and so important. I think in this industry experience and being up to date with the latest software, cameras, and trends is a big deal and Jerry and Caroline do exactly that. I would definitely recommend David Eric Photography to any bride and groom looking for fantastic wedding photos. Caroline was extremely helpful from the beginning of the process, and she and Jerry continue to guide my husband and me as we begin to choose photos for our wedding album. Caroline and Jerry were an excellent team! We're so glad we hired them to shoot our wedding in May! David Eric offers great packages and added value at different price points. We also received two pre-wedding engagement shoots - one indoors and one outdoors (a location of our choice!) which allowed us to all get very comfortable together! We got a sense of their shooting style, and they got a sense of what poses/looks we liked best. By the time the wedding day came around they really got the best out of us! Caroline and Jerry were continually responsive, prompt and professional. The wedding day itself ran very smoothly and they easily accommodated our entire must take list. Jerry and Caroline were exceptional photographers to work with. They were prompt and flexible with communication. They were extremely professional throughout the whole process. When my husband and I got engaged I was completely in the dark about wedding photographers. Two ladies, who had used them for their wedding photos, in my work office immediately told me to go see David Eric. They showed me how beautiful their albums were, how nice Caroline & Jerry are and I knew I had to go see them! It was the best experience I could ever have hoped for! I selected for two photographers for the church, prep, and formal photos and one photographer for the reception and we're so happy we did. They listened to what we wanted and delivered just that. Before the night was over with plenty of time to spare Caroline asked me if there were any photos we think we didn't get so we could get them. There photos are so stunning, the poses are natural, and they were great with capturing "us" on our wedding day. I was so happy to find them. I can't wait to start planning my album. Planning a wedding is stressful enough and nailing down vendors is sometimes a chore. I can honestly say that hiring David Eric Photography for both my photos and video was one of the easiest decisions that my now husband and I have ever made. Caroline and Jerry are beyond professional yet down to earth. Every meeting we had with them was seamless and stree-FREE. Every question was answered before I asked, no T was left uncrossed and no i was left un-dotted. I got married in an ice storm and they were still on time and got the job done; a job that far exceeded my expectations giving the weather situation. When looking at my photos you would have thought it was 85 degrees and sunny. Trust me when I say the weather was a huge problem for everyone that day, but Jerry and Caroline came through for the most important day of our life.

My wife and I were so privileged to have found and contracted the most thorough and professional photographers in David & Eric Photography. Since Day 1, Caroline & Jerry made us feel like the most important people in the room (which is how it should be) and was very clear and concise about all the details of their services. They were very receptive to what we wanted and how we wanted things to be, but also made excellent suggestions based on their extensive experience in photographing couples from beginning to end. For us, the fact that they were very down to Earth and honest about everything was the deciding factor. Their attention to detail is phenomenal. The best advice we can offer about their services is make sure you purchase the package with TWO photographers and an assistant. They are tireless in making sure they take advantage of every opportunity to capture the right moments. Upon reviewing our wedding proofs, we found that there were better shots in comparison from different angles, and you have much more to choose from. The package prices are very reasonable and there is much to choose from whether it’s the simplest photo package to the top-of-the-line “platinum” package (that’s just my description). And most of all ……..NO PRESSURE!!! They understand that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and are instrumental in making sure we walk out of their office with a smile knowing we made the decisions that best fit us. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is in search of a photography company in a heartbeat!! Thank you Jerry and Caroline!!!!

Jerry and Caroline are a fun, personable and professional team, who execute elegant and classic images with a big dose of ingenuity. My husband and I got married on 9/27/14 and we were so happy with the services David Eric Photography provided us. We used them for photography and videography. Jerry and his crew were so professional the day of our wedding by showing up on time, ensuring to take the photographs we desired and managed to be practically invisible the whole day! Throughout the ceremony and reception, us and our guests barely even noticed their presence and they still managed to take beautiful photos of every part of our wedding day. Jerry met with us the week before our wedding to go over details to make sure all the necessary photographs of family and friends were not missed. Caroline and Jerry were fantastic! Due to rain we had to change our picture location the day before the wedding, and they were so flexible. They helped to manage the other vendors and turned a rainy day into a beautiful opportunity for pictures. They were very professional and fun to work with, my family still talks about how wonderful they were at the wedding, and how they made all the difference on the wedding day. This team of photographers was efficient, easy to work with, and above all very talented. We had a great experience from the engagement photo session (which was included in our package) to the actual wedding day. Everything was on done in a timely manner. They were very helpful with the timeline of the actual wedding day. They are not scared off by large wedding parties or crazy family members. I love, love, love my pictures. We used David Eric photography for our wedding and they were more than we could have ever imagined. Caroline and Jerry truly captured the essence of our wedding day which will enable us to tell a beautiful story in our album! With almost 900 photos to choose from, to say we will have a tough time narrowing them down is an understatement! Many photographers concentrate heavily on the pinterest type photos leaving you with fad photos you may or may not love in 20 years. David Eric Photography is a perfect choice for any bride. We had a great experience with Jerry & Caroline as a team from beginning to end. Starting with our engagement photos, they came out amazing and we were so happy with all of them that we had a hard time choosing which ones we wanted to print. This set our mind at ease that we made the right choice for our wedding photographers. Before the wedding, I decided to surprise my new husband on our wedding day with boudoir photos. I checked to see if they offered this at their studio, and of course they did. Very nervous, I came in and worked with Caroline during the photo shoot. She helped calm my nerves and took absolutely beautiful photos. I was so impressed by how they came out! (and my husband loved them too.) On our wedding day, we were so happy to have both Jerry & Caroline and their assistant taking both candid & portrait photos. They followed our plans for the day perfectly and chose some gorgeous places in our venue to take pictures. A few weeks later when we first saw the pictures, we couldn't have been happier! They came out amazing. The album was also exactly what I wanted and there were just so many great pictures it was extremely hard to chose.
Our experience has only been positive and we will recommend using David Eric Photography to all of our family and friends.

Our top-notch experience began with a beautiful engagement shoot at the South Street Seaport in Manhattan, with Jerry spending hours snapping some of our favorite photos along the waterfront. Then the wedding day was perfect, as they had all hands on deck to help us remember our special day with all the photos we wanted.

Caroline does terrific work assembling gorgeous albums – a huge selling point for us – and making the photos “pop.”

Caroline and Jerry at David Eric Photography are very professional every step of the wedding planning process, on the wedding day, and after but by the end you will feel like they are your friends also. They spend the time with you before the big day getting to know you as a couple and learn what is important to you to take the type and amount of photographs that you are looking for on your wedding day. Part of our package also included two engagement photo sessions and since my husband does not like to smile in pictures I think that this helped both of us become more comfortable in front of the camera and taking pictures together. Because Caroline and Jerry took the time with us to plan out our wedding day photography it forced us to be more organized with our plan and timing for everything that happened the day of. They also kept us on track with our timeline the day of with the photography portion and everything went so smoothly because of their knowledge of how the wedding day works. We just got our proofs back last week and the pictures are amazing! They captured every element of the day from getting ready at our houses, to pictures before getting to the church, at the ceremony, with family, the bridal party, just the two of us and the party after. I don't know how I am going to narrow down the pictures for the album and I can't wait to see what Caroline designs as layouts for the pictures that we choose to tell the story of our day. What can I say about Jerry & Caroline of David Eric Photography...they are wonderful. We met quite a few photographers before making our decision with David Eric's Photography. And I am so glad they sent me a flyer and followed up with me to show how committed, friendly and professional they were.

We did our engagement photos on one of the hottest days in June 2012. Yet in our pictures you would have never guessed all the sweating. We recently received our proofs for the wedding and everyone has been complimenting us so much on them. I would like to say that I am so happy that I was recommended to David Eric Photography. They were awesome! The pictures that they took captured the most important moments of our wedding. My husband and I had Jerry of David Eric Photography as our wedding photographer in May 2012. While we've only seen the proofs so far (still working to pick out which ones to include in our album--so many good ones to choose from!), we are very pleased with Jerry's work. Throughout the whole process, Caroline (who handles the contract, scheduling, album design) was very patient with me and my zillion questions about the contract and photo formats, and they were very understanding of our limited schedule for engagement shoots, meetings, etc. because we were planning our north Jersey wedding remotely. We haven't seen the final products yet (prints, album), but I expect they'll be great based on our experience so far.

If I had to give any advice to future brides it would be to "shop around" to see who you feel most comfortable with, but definately stop by David Eric Photography. At David Eric they emphasize the importance of getting to know one another before the big day. This makes it better for everyone when that "bid day" comes. We were able to meet with Jerry and Caroline multiple times before our wedding day to discuss various things and to even have an engagment photo shoot taken which was really nice. We ended up using one of these photos and displaying it at our reception. I would recommend David Eric as they were extremely professional and did a wonderful job! We have recommended David Eric to friends and they have also chosen them for their wedding this year :)

Jerry was our photographer and our pictures came out beautiful! He got all the shots I asked for (and I had a pretty long list!). There are some pictures I don't even remember him taking! It was so nice because I didn't feel like I was constantly being asked to stop mingling or dancing or having fun with my new husband to take photos. We didn't even realize Jerry was there! Out of all the things you need to book for a wedding, my shop around for a wedding photographer took the longest and I am glad I found David Eric Photography. They didn't need to give us a long sales pitch because the proof is in the quality. The sample wedding albums sold us on their work right away!

An engagment photo shoot was included in our package and we were soooo happy with the photos. My husband and I tend to be very critical of how we look in pictures but these were amazing and the view of NYC in the background was beautiful. Jerry came up with some great spots and poses. Plus, it was great to work with Jerry and Caroline before the big day.

I say they are more than just photographers because they were so helpful on the wedding day. Jerry came to my house for the bridal portraits and got all the still shots without me even knowing. He found my shoes, jewelry, and bouquet on his own and took some great pics. I didn't have to get involved which was nice since the day can be so chaotic. Another reason they go above and beyond is because after the ceremony, I ripped my train a little in the church and Caroline took control of the situation by willing to sew my train before we even got out of the church to see all the guests. Also, Jerry and Caroline are great with kids. I have two nieces, ages 2 and 5, who were my flower girls, and Jerry and Caroline were both great with getting them to be where they need to be for photos and to get them to look at the camera and smile.

My family and bridal party raved to me about how great our photographers were at the wedding and I agree! Overall, Jerry and Caroline were great at the wedding and the beautiful pictures we have are proof of their high quality work!

I thought finding a photographer was going to be the hardest thing in planning my wedding because I absolutely hate the way I look in pictures. Everyone told me that I needed to find the right photographer. Well, we got the best photographer we could have gotten for our very special day! As much as I dreaded having my picture taken, I now find that I am anxious to show everyone the absolutely beautiful photos that were taken that day!!!! I am very hard on myself about the way I look and I am in awe when I look at these pictures and see the beauty in them, I can’t believe that they are really me! Every time I look at them I completely relive that day over and over again, the tell the perfect story of my wedding day! Not only do I have wonderful wedding day memories to keep forever but I also have other photos. David Eric Photography has a different approach than just photographing your wedding. By the time our wedding day had arrived, we had already met several times for other photo sessions, which put us more at ease for the formal photo part of our wedding day, which went very smoothly. So now as I look around my house I also see the beautiful pictures from our ‘engagement’ session and our “love story’ session which will always be reminders of the journey we took to get to our wedding day. Our wedding turned out to be even more perfect than we could have ever imagined, and Jerry and Caroline of David Eric Photography were there to capture every important moment and detail. they took charge and presented some great ideas, but also listened to all of our suggestions and ideas as well. they even helped with some great ideas for the ceremony! They spent a great deal of time with us and took care to document all of those special little moments with family and friends that made the day so memorable. They have a great visual style, with lots of soul and nuance. They clearly care very much about about their craft. But they are more than just photographers, and their very friendly, personal approach reflects that. We would not hesitate to recommend them to document your occasion, whatever it may be. Thanks guys, you are the best!

I could not be more happy with Jerry and Caroline of David Eric Photography. It was sheer luck finding them online, and I don't think we could have been any luckier. They were quick to respond to my emails and phone calls, and never made me feel as though I was nagging them. In fact, they seemed to welcome my constant questions! They were incredibly professional (AND nice!) and obviously have a passion for their profession. Everyone who has seen our engagement and wedding photos has commented on the obvious talent and artistic touch of our photographers. To top it off, they were
VERY reasonably priced for what you get the quaility and the customer service. They cost less for what you get than most of what the other
wedding photographers were charging and, in my opinion, they were twice as good as the rest of them. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. My husband (still feel strange using that word) and I plan on using them for any future family photo shoots
(especially baby photos!).

If your looking for a more artistic approach for your wedding pictures then David Eric Studio is the way to go.

I met Caroline at at her office and We knew immediately from looking at her albums that her style was exactly what we wanted, and her friendly and outgoing personality was what we wanted for our wedding day. She was very organized and
kept the day running smoothly. Our pictures came out beautiful and there are soooo many to choose from. We LOVE the proofs.

If you are looking for someone to embrace your family and friends, and enjoy your wedding day right along with you, Jerry and Caroline are the one! We would highly recommend this husband and wife team to all new brides!

I have not gotten by album yet but we sat down with her for close to three hours to go over our album design. It was amazing how she guided us through the process and the fun we had at the wedding just continued. My mom who was with me said it was like a girls afternoon out. All I have to say, is that my Engagement photos were fantastic and fun to do. My sign in book was a hit and I know my album is is going to wow everyone. This is the studio to book for your wedding. My girlfriend waited too long and they were already taken by the time she called.

I loved David Eric Photography and will reccommend them to anyone planning on getting married! My pictures are all so beautiful and the album came out gorgeous! They are very down-to-earth people and definately helped our bridal party feel relaxed and have a blast while being photographed!

We had the pleasure of working with David Eric for our wedding this February. They were so professional, personable, and punctual! They were so helpful and organized throughout the entire planning process. On the day of our wedding they arrived early and finished with our formals before the cocktail hour began. They took the most incredible shots of our reception, without ever interfering with our fun. The pictures were out of this world, and told the story of our wedding night. We were able to relive all those moments through their artwork. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

I am so happy with my choice in Photographers. I met with several photographers before deciding on David Eric Photography. Although all of my initial appts were top notch, none touched David Eric . They was referred by several people and I can't say enough great things. I was lucky enough to have his wife, Caroline, accompany him as my "second photographer" and she is just as amazing as Jerry. What a wonderful, professional, talented pair of photojournalists. Jerry also shot our engagement pics on the beach in Long Branch, NJ and they came out beautiful. This is money well spent and he even provides you with all pics on CD. Call him NOW before they gets booked up. I HIGHLY recommend David Eric Photography

David Eric did a fantastic job as our wedding photographer!! He exceeded all our expectations. We have gotten so many rave reviews on our wedding album and our bridal party loved getting mini versions of the album. We loved taking our engagement pictures down the shore and they came out amazing. During the wedding, they were never obtrusive but were still able to capture all the perfect moments. The watercolor thank you cards were also a nice touch and all our guests told us how much they loved the thank yous. We would certainly recommend David Eric to all future brides!

We were so happy we chose David Eric Photography to capture every moment of our wedding in August, from getting ready to both ceremonies and then to the reception. After meeting with Jerry the first time, my wife and I knew right away that we just had to book Jerry and his crew on our special day. They were patient and organized with us and we couldn’t wait to see the proofs of the amazing shots we knew they got. Some of our favorite photos were the ones of us dancing and having a great time with our family and friends on the dance floor where we didn’t even notice the camera was on us. During our reception, Jerry left us alone to have a great time and enjoy the night without having to stop to take too many photos, which is what we had asked of him. And we can’t wait to see our video! I would highly recommend David Eric Photography for any upcoming event!

Our pictures are beautiful. The proofs that we got just a few days ago were amazing. They were able to capture so many great moments that we will no get to keep forever. We could not be happier. Jerry and Caroline were awesome from the beginning of the day when we were getting ready in our respective rooms. It was a perfect accompaniment to a perfect day, and now we can re-live our wedding day through these beautiful photos any time we want.

David Eric is a class outfit. The team of Jerry and Caroline did a wonderful job in all aspects of the wedding: preparation with us beforehand, capturing all our family and friends as we wanted - both portraits and action shots - and in the album preparation. Great care and patience was given in the album preparation - Caroline sat with us for several hours designing each page to perfection. I give them top marks and the strongest recommendation.

I would recommend David Eric to other couples, and have already. Our album is absolutely beautiful. I've have gotten so many compliments. Our framed photos from our wedding and engagement sessions came out great. We had no problem dealing with Jerry & Caroline. They were great. The day of the wedding they were on time and went above what we had planned on. We had a great experience using David Eric.

I would recommend David Eric Studios because our album came beautiful but... it was not the most professional experience. I had a deadline to pick my pictures which I had done on time but then it took them so long to finally turn around my album. And when I finally received my album it was wrong. They forgot to honor an upgrade they offered me (our picture on the cover). It was in my contract but they "overlooked" it. So I had to return my album and wait for them to have a new cover made. All in all, it was worth it because I LOVE my album. They are great photographers.. just not so great in the business end of it!

I would recommend this place to other people, I really loved the work they did. My album looks beautiful. But, they weren't that professional. The woman who set our package up was attitude-y, she wouldn't remember stuff she said, didn't write everything down. I usually dreaded going there. Then when it came down to picking pictures she pushed us to be ready by a certain time. Then when we picked our pictures from the catalog, they had different numbers written for each picture, so I had to go back there and hand pick all my pictures with them. It took a long time to get prints done. My parents' album was shotty. But, like I said, the quality was there. Ivan was our photographer and I liked him.

If even one couple reads this and thinks twice about David Eric I will be happy. I am jealous of the other 5 star reviews I read when I booked David Eric & at the end I found out that they give you free album pages for 5 star ratings (fyi)

This service can best be described as mediocre and a cluster of misunderstandings (something that should not be a problem with a husband/wife crew of only 2) There was no huge, deadly issues with our photos or video package and experience, however there were an overabundance of smaller hiccups throughout our entire process that all add up to a 1 star review to say the least. Weddings are stressful enough and the vendors should be the least of your problems considering they have done this so many times before.

2 photographers for 10 hours of coverage and we got 839 pictures. It should have been double that. We had 4 readers at the ceremony and there was only photos of 3 of them. They did not photograph all the small details they promised that I worked so hard on leading up to the wedding. The DIY centerpieces/seating chart/card box/cake top/favors/guest book that they promised they would get captured looked like an afterthought in the final photos. They painted a beautiful picture description of what they would do on our wedding day when they were selling us and then did not deliver on those promises.

My wedding day was hands down the best day of my life and thankfully by chance the photos and video came out beautiful enough to remind me of that day, however I would never recommend David Eric to anyone for any of your photo needs strictly because of their customer service, communication skills, nickel and dime attitude, and overall unprofessional-ism throughout the whole process.

Congrats on your engagement and I wish you the best of luck in your searches. All of our other vendors were Phenomenal and I would re-hire any of them over and over, but NOT David Eric.

Horrible, absolutely horrible. First off they bribe you to give them a 5-star review so you can get an extra couple pages in your album for free. They make a ton of promises and come up short. It took 11 months to the day of our wedding to get our album from them. The thank you cards... late. The wall portraits.... late. As soon as they get your money your'e on the back burner. Be warned...
