Destination Wedding in Barbados
David was an absolute answer to prayer for the right person to capture the moments of our wedding. If I could give David and his assistant Dipan 10 stars I would! From our first phone call, I knew David was the perfect photographer for us. He listened to what we wanted, gave us thoughtful suggestions, and made both of us feel calm. On the day of the wedding, both David and Dipan were superstars! They had so much energy, they were so kind in helping me carry my wedding dress train around so it wouldn't get dirty, and they just kept a wonderful positive demeanor from beginning to end. Then, to top it all off, our wedding pictures were ready 4 days after the wedding! I could not believe that such quality work was done and ready for viewing so quickly! The pictures were BEAUTIFUL. David is a master of lighting & posing
We hired David to photograph our wedding vow renewal ceremony with large family group portraits in the church. But our favorite images were portraits he took of us in the park prior to the ceremony. Lighting was phenomenal and his ease with posing let me relax. Having these memories documented with gorgeous photos makes our experience even better than I imagined. As a photography enthusiast, I tend to be picky and particular, and I was totally relaxed in David's care. From start to finish, David was accessible and helpful with confirmation memos throughout the process. I was never confused or worried because he is totally confident and caring. And it stood out to me that he never let us see him sweat, even when other vendors and our late arrival put timing pressure on his part. He was calm and collected. Our largest group portrait was approx 80 people in 1 group photo and he was the ultimate maestro efficiently grouping and capturing that chaos into a beautiful portrait that was the best anniversary gift for our celebration! In times like these, it's almost shocking to get such great customer care and even more so with his competitive pricing structure. David stands out above the rest and will continue to grow and expand because he has all the hallmarks of success - thank you so much David!!

David was AMAZING at our wedding in Fullerton, CA. He walked with us through the venue ahead of time and suggested the best places and times for certain photos. He blended in seamlessly with our wedding guests and put everyone at ease, so we got lovely, natural-looking photos of our loved ones. He suggested poses that seemed weird but came out looking so good in photos. He made our big day easier and was impeccably professional (and fun)! 10/10 recommend!!

I cannot say enough great things about David England, his work, and his team. The moment I spoke with David for the first time, I knew he was the photographer for our wedding. He is friendly, intuitive, talented and took time to get to know my fiancé and me. He put us at ease during our engagement photo shoot and during our wedding. I’m not the most comfortable having my picture taken, but he has a way of making you forget about any discomforts you may have. David England Photography is absolutely amazing. Our photos are so beautiful. Not only did he do an amazing job capturing my wedding, but he directed the photo shoot. He was able to truly capture the beautiful ambience through his lens. I am so in love with all our photos. He used high quality equipment. Which was important with a sunset wedding on a yacht. He knew which angles to take. As the bride I have no unflattering pictures (which can be our biggest fear). As for his personality he was extremely personable and professional.

Beautiful Photos, Wonderful Photographer
David was an absolute pleasure to work with from the very beginning. We were originally looking for engagement photography, however after seeing his work and meeting him for a consult we knew immediately we wanted him for our wedding too. We are local to Long Beach, however we were planning a wedding in Texas and he was 100% on board to travel and capture our day!
As the wedding approached, David kept in close contact to make sure we were all on the same page for times, places, and people. He was able to attend our rehearsal at the venue which gave him an opportunity to scout the area for great photos, introduce himself to the bridal party and give some great advice on how to help get great photos before the day of the wedding.
The day of the wedding, David and his co-photographer Tracy made everything feel so easy: the slightest change of a pose, different lighting and angles, close attention to details and big smiles all around. All of our friends and family are still talking about how great they were, and we are all very excited to see how the photos turn out.
David is a wonderful professional, and is also great fun to work with. We will definitely be looking to work with him in the future for any of our photographer needs.

I feel so bad that it took 2 years to review him! He's such a good photographer so here it goes...
Almost 3 years ago, my then fiancé (now husband) and I were searching for a wedding photographer. We went to a wedding show weekend and met David. He was so knowledgeable and had a custom USB drive on display that we decided to have a meeting with him. After that meeting we booked an engagement session and it was a dream! My husband and I were larger people but David posed us in ways that were extremely flattering! We were so pleased and booked him for our wedding.
He was so great with our nieces and my cousin's child who were in our wedding party. He was patient and we had such a great time with him! He is so professional but friendly and you cannot go wrong with him as your photographer.

The Perfect Engagement Session
David exceeded my expectations! I would absolutely recommend him to my friends and family. He was extremely flexible and understanding when organizing the surprise engagement session. Although there were a few hiccups in the road (on my part), he stayed professional, supportive, and fun throughout the process. The pictures from the session turned out perfectly and were edited so quickly! Him selling his fake "Groupon business backstory" to my, at the time, girlfriend was the cherry on top for our experience. Simply, David goes over and above for his craft. You would be lucky to have him as your photographer!

Best Yacht Wedding Photographer
David really is the best!! I had the best experience with him as my wedding photographer. We received our photos not more than a week after the wedding and they were all so gorgeous. He got all the shots and angles that I requested and that really was a challenge since my wedding was on a moving yacht as the sun set. I’ve gotten so many compliments from family and friends about what a great job David did. If you’re looking for a photographer especially near for a yacht wedding look no further. He’s an ease to work with and I couldn’t be more happy to have chosen him.

I can't say enough good things about David. We found him through our wedding venue and immediately loved his work. His photos are so dynamic and bright and natural looking. He came to our home for the initial consultation and we were at ease instantly. He is professional, friendly, and has a calming energy about him.
We have only done our engagement photos so far but it was such a wonderful experience that I can’t wait to see what shots he gets at our wedding. He kept the shoot fun and lighthearted but really showed us how to pose and enjoy ourselves and that made for fantastic photos. We also brought our dogs along for a few pictures and he was really patient with them as well.
I would recommend David to absolutely anyone who wants to capture the special moments in their life.

Amazing experience! Very professional and nice and easy to work with. He was on top of everything from start to finish and made the whole engagement process a success. My engagement was such a big moment in my life and he caught it all on camera and brought it to life with each photo he took. His equipment, web page, scheduling, photography style, etc was ALL professional. Also, I was just visiting Cali for a couple days, and he randomly checked on me & my fiancé to offer a ride to the airport for my departure. Now THAT’S good service! We found David on yelp for our Wedding 10/28/17. We contacted a number of photographers but decided on David based on our meeting with him. He was very open to our ideas and suggested that we might want to do an engagement shoot beforehand so we could really get to know each other. And I’m glad we did because by the time we got to our big day it was plain sailing, he knew what we wanted and really came up with the goods. David is reasonably priced and we had our photos available the next month after the wedding. We decided to go for the second photographer add on and it really made the difference. There were no missed shots and we were able to get photos with everyone on the big day. David really did his homework and some shots that we were going to take down by the docks ended up being a non starter because of where the sun was at the time we were going to be shooting. He went out with the second photographer and we ended up at an even better location where the sun wasn’t an issue. But that’s David he takes the time and really cares about the service he’s providing. We already knew how great his work is from the engagement shoot and the wedding was no different. We got exceptional work, that completely captured the day for us. We recommend the shoot beforehand and getting a second photographer it made all the difference. We feel very lucky to have found David he’s an incredibly talented photographer and a really nice guy too. You couldn’t ask for more.

We are from Canada and got married in Long beach, Dec. 2017. I ended up finding David England Photography on the internet and we do not regret it one bit!
He took great pictures, instructed us on what poses to make and where to stand, is a people person, great communication, and even edited all our photos and gave us our USB before we came back to Canada!

This review is long overdue! My wife and I got married 5 years ago aboard a yacht, and hit the jackpot when we were graced by David's presence. First and foremost he's just an awesome friendly guy with a lot of energy, and makes you feel very comfortable with the whole picture process. He'll direct and guide you with what he's looking for in the shot, and then gets to work with his magic. In one shot apparently I wasn't giving him enough personality, so he made me do several jumping jacks until I was laughing (probably out of embarrassment haha) and it produced a genuine looking smile. Genius! David is super chill and just an absolute pleasure to work with, and the pictures he created for us were pure perfection, capturing every part of our special day. I would hire him again in a heartbeat for any special celebration we may have in the future, and highly highly recommend him to anyone wanting the most professional and skilled photographer out there. My fiancé and I met with David after meeting him at several wedding show weekend events. He brought several examples of his work and what I really liked was his experience with people of larger sizes. We secured him as our photographer for our wedding and I am so incredibly glad we chose him. David was amazing! I had a hard time finding a great photographer, my wedding was at el dorado golf course and David was their preferred photographer. At first I wanted to search for other photographers to see their work but didn't seem to find any photographers that reached me and my husbands expectations. So I started to look at the preferred vendor list for my venue and decided to contact David. David is so professional. When me and my husband first met with him he brought all his previous work which was amazing, he has great package deals, and is very flexible when it came to payments. Me and my husband loved him the first time we met with him his work is amazing so we went ahead and booked him. My wife and I have been long distance for nearly the entirety of our relationship. I lived in Delaware, and she lived in Maryland for a couple years before being stationed in San Antonio. We both wanted a beach-front wedding ceremony, and decided on Long Beach, California as our destination since I am originally from that area. This made the prospect of organizing and planning everything a challenge. Luckily, we found David England’s portfolio in our search for a photographer to capture our special day, and he was amazing at helping us coordinate everything. He was patient in his communication with us despite the many miles and time zones between us. Out of all the photographers we researched, we found his portfolio best captured an outdoor wedding experience. The deal was sealed when we finally got to meet him in person; he was charming and very friendly, and captured amazing photos of the ceremony and reception. He guided us through different poses and techniques, and we were delighted when just a couple hours after his session with us ended, he texted us a handful of photos as a sneak peek. A short few days later, he e-mailed us a link to view the best of the best photos (over a 100!) that were beautifully and artistically taken. My wife and I absolutely loved working with David, and we can’t wait to hang every photo he took in our home.

My wife and I hired David England as our wedding day photographer many months before the big day. We had a small beach ceremony and the reception at The Reef in Long Beach. During the early planning stages, we stumbled upon David’s online portfolios. When we finally settled on a vendor (The Reef), they offered us a list of suggested photographers, but after comparing the portfolios, we ended up choosing David based on his online reviews and portfolios of weddings. From the beginning, David was extremely helpful the months leading up to, and gave us tons of tips and advice on how to best capture our story. We wanted the best possible outcome for our outdoor ceremony, and he was clearly the best choice. He also patiently worked with us and our budget so we got the most for our buck. When we finally met, David was extremely polite and charismatic! Both of us are camera shy, but he made us feel at ease instantly. My wife and I really loved talking and working with him. I had seen David's Instagram with samples of his work and I was immediately drawn to his photos. They are timeless. He was familiar with our venue for our special day which was another plus. I contacted David online after reading wonderful reviews. He immediately provided his availability, a pricing brochure and relayed his familiarity with the area and our venue.
Within a week we had a sit down meeting with David and we discussed photo package options, pricing and our timeline. David was on time, friendly and informative. He allowed us to review more of his portfolio and we went over the timeline for the big day. He suggested photo opportunities prior to our vows and even explained "first look" options. He also inquired about family dynamics and took detailed notes about attendees and the photos we would like shot on our wedding day.
On the day of the engagement shoot, David arrived early to assess our location. He even scouted out cute little alcoves along Seal Beach's Main Street that provided an escape from the wind and shopping locals.
Within 90 minutes we had sauntered the street, explored the aforementioned alcoves and strolled the pier and beach. David sought out great lighting and backdrops, posed us and even prompted us a few times to get reactions for the camera.
David provided us about 20 teaser photos at the end our session and we were so pleased! The pictures were fantastic!
We received the remaining 200+ photos less than 48 hours later and they were just as amazing! We are in the process of ordering large prints for our home and I'm having a hard time deciding between my 65 favorites!
This, so far, has been the easiest and most rewarding part of our wedding planning journey. I'm so thankful for our beautiful engagement photos and I'm eager to see what photos the big day brings.

I really had a hard time connecting with many of them. Some photographers didn't even return my call. David was prompt, polite and quick to respond. During our event, he helped organize all of the family pictures and made it easy for us. Then, once we got to view the finished product, I have to say that we were blown away!! I already feel very lucky that I married an amazing man, but having David as our wedding photographer was an added bonus!!! From the first time I met David (who drove over 1 hour to meet me halfway), I knew he’s going to be great. I loved all his sample portfolios and I couldn’t wait for my own wedding. From that meeting, it got even better. I met him again once with my sister-in-law for a hotel walkthrough where I would be getting ready before the ceremony and another time with my brother and a few of my wedding party for the venue walkthrough. Everyone just had great feedback about his professionalism and how nice a guy he is! My brother (who is very particular and critical) was also impressed by David at their first meeting!
When my DOC quit three weeks before the wedding due to health reasons - David recommended a great replacement. Within 48 hours of the previous DOC quitting, we got a new and even more awesome DOC! I was so very relieved because I trusted David’s recommendation. Not only that, he asked the new DOC to go “as low as she can” to accommodate us and she did give us such a great deal. She even told us that she normally doesn’t accept clients right away, but since David vouched for us, she accepted us right away.
THE BEST THING EVER: My husband and I have big families and we had a big wedding party so we contracted David for 2 photographers to make sure we cover everyone and everything. But David already had considered the size of our party and gave us the greatest SURPRISE gift ever: he gave us a THIRD photographer for FREE! Everyone had such a great time doing photo shoots with David's Team! We also got lots of SAME DAY prints for FREE (worth over $300 from his package)!

I was just at a wedding over the weekend in Long Beach at "The Reef" where David England was the photographer. I have never seen a photographer so cool and collect during "stressful" and "you can't go back in time" moments. He seemed very sure of what he was doing and commanded the attention of the bridal party and the people at the wedding in a calm fashion, to get the pictures he needed. The way he posed the bride throughout the day was nothing short of a professional as he is clearly top notch. From what I have seen versus other weddings, David went above and beyond with his lighting set up and orchestration from the ceremony all the way until the end of the reception. I also noticed multiple assistants or second photographers that were working with him, and they had the whole wedding covered from all different angles. I would definitely recommend David to be your wedding photographer, he knows what he is doing and can be trusted to deliver the product that you are seeking for your wedding.

This is the 4th time we used David for our family photos. He again over delivered! We are that annoying couple that wants our dogs to be in our family photo. So we have a 1.5 year old toddler and 2 uncooperative dogs for him to wrangle...he does it perfectly! I can't even begin to explain the patience it takes to pull this off! We were literally running at one point trying to get even one good shot of all of us! David doesn't lose patience, in fact he never even seems annoyed! He just smiles and makes the best of the situation and we always get great shots that are lifelong gems! I also love that he is able to instantly send the photos to our phones. When he has a nice shot, we get to see it and share it instantly. It's an awesome perk! Along with the wonderful service he is not over-priced. There is never one negative thing about our experiences. We are always so pleased!

The day of my wedding went by so quick. Much of it was a blur. David England Photography captured so many special moments, that helped me piece together our story through his photographs. He is friendly, personable, and unobtrusive. He didn't disturb the flow of our wedding, yet somehow he captured everything without us feeling like we were being photographed. Our guests and family members were impressed with his professionalism and work. I now know why he has so many reviews 5 star reviews. If you're looking for a trustworthy professional, who's fun to work with, that produces gorgeous photos, look no further! David and his team were worth every penny. I will do business with him in the near future!

David England and his team have been doing our company Christmas party for the past few years, and they never disappoint, which is why we keep calling them back. They're SO professional, friendly, and fun to be around. They find a way to capture every moment at its best. They know how to make guest feel comfortable, which is great, because not everyone likes a camera in their face. Yet they seem to capture everyone and every moment perfectly. They also work extra hard and fast to deliver pictures in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend David and his team, and I'm really looking forward to next year’s party.

David was a pleasure to work with! We decided to work with him as he is a preferred vendor for Hornblower Cruises (the company we held our wedding through) and therefore he is familiar with the unique challenges that come with having a wedding on a boat. He was also aware of the short time span of our event, and was willing to be flexible in order to accommodate however many (or few) posed pictures with family, bridal party, etc., that we wanted to take in the short amount of time that we had. And the best part was, he got the pictures back to us FAST. We were anticipating having to wait several weeks or even months to get our pictures back, as most of our friends have had to do from their weddings,but we had a package in the mail from David with all of our pictures on a flash drive waiting for us by the time we got back from the honeymoon! And the pictures are beautiful, I can't stop looking at them! Thank you David!!!

My fiancée and I could not be more happier using David England Photography! When it was time to take our pictures we didn't know where. We asked David and he told us about a couple of places. One of the places was the Mission San Juan Capristrano. We decided to take our pictures there and we loved the out come of the pictures. It was our first time taking professional pictures. We loved that he showed us how to pose and what to do next. He also askes us to do our on pose. We still had time so he asked us where we wanted to take pictures next. It was the great experiences we had. Loved that he was outgoing and was professional the whole time. He made taking pictures so much fun. David exceeded our expectations and we are forever grateful for memories he has captured.

Look no further David England Photography is who you want for the job! David and his crew did a hands down PHENOMENAL job photographing my wedding. All I have are "teaser" photos and boy oh boy I can't wait to get the rest of them!! He really has a talent for capturing your most precious moments and does it with such grace, style, and courtesy. Not to mention he has been doing this a long time (10+ years I believe he said). This is your guy! Prior to hiring we met with him and right off the bat we knew he was who we wanted. We met with other photographers, just to be sure and nobody even came close to impressing us as much as David did. He listens to what it is you're looking for and explains his style and technique in order to make it happen.
During the wedding, he hustled the whole time, START TO FINISH. Any time we had an idea or needed him he was all for it and did whatever he needed to make it happen. He was so patient with us and our bridal party the entire time; NOT ONCE did he become frustrated or overwhelmed as I've seen many other photographers do at events.
We can't thank him enough for capturing our timeless moments. Seriously, put your confidence in David England Photography!

I can't say enough good things about our photographer David England. If I could give him ten stars I would. Everyone needs this photographer on their wedding day. I had heard he was an exceptional photographer and his pictures on yelp were magical, but he truly blew us away with his such exquisite work. My wife and I had decided to meet him and find something we could afford. One thing I've learned about weddings is that you CANT go cheap on the photographer. David showed us his photo packages and explained in detail what we would be getting. We took some time to decide, but after about a month we chose David. It was the best decision we made for our wedding day. David, without being told showed up to our venue at the rehearsal dinner to get a layout of the grounds as well as to explain to our bridal party where he'd be taking their photos. Everyone was in love with him right away. He has a very kind gentle approach about him. The next day he arrived on time to the place we were all getting ready, as the venue didn't have a room there for us to utilize. He took what seemed like hundreds of photos of my girls and I getting ready. I had no idea, but he decided to hire two other gentlemen to help with photos and lighting for the day. He was patient the entire day. I loved seeing his vision come alive in the photos. My wife and I are looking forward to seeing the rest of the photos he captured that day. He did send us a sneak peak of about six photos which are already our profile pictures on Facebook. I can't thank David enough for his wonderful work and dedication to photography.

Our son recently hired David England Photography to capture the special moment of his marriage proposal on the Santa Monica Pier. The shoot included several “stealth” photos without the future bride’s knowledge, as well as an array of beautifully posed and expertly lit portraits after she said, “Yes!”. The resulting images are amazing and fully capture the excitement of the couple’s engagement to share with family and friends.
Equally as impressive to me is Mr. England’s business model for distributing his images. He has an attractive and functional web site that makes image selection easy, and he also has a very fair pricing model for full resolution digital downloads. I have been frustrated with other photographers who try to force me to buy more prints than I need, just to get the digital versions.
I enthusiastically recommend David England Photography to capture lasting memories of your special event.

My fiancé and I have chosen to be married on a Hornblower Yacht in Newport Beach. Our wedding coordinator provided us with a list of their preferred photographers. We were able to view each photographer's photo books and we found that the style and creativity of one photographer really stood out to us, David England Photography. The individuals in his photographs looked so at ease and not specifically "posed". They simply looked like they were enjoying themselves and he just happened to be there to catch it all on film. Once we met David face-to-face, we knew then, he was our photographer. We booked David to handle our engagement photos and we immediately felt that "at ease" feeling that we saw in others' pictures right away and our pictures were truly fantastic! Our photo shoot was so much fun and he captured our happiness perfectly. It was also great that he could give us tips that we will remember and use on our wedding day. My fiancé and I just had our engagement photos taken by David at the Claremont Colleges and we had an incredible time! We are not exactly 'picture people' and David made us feel so comfortable and relaxed that we were able to be ourselves, and ended up having a lot of unexpected fun during our session (which completely transpired in the photos). He worked with us to create out of the box poses and angles utilizing various architectural and landscaping elements, as well as free-standing art pieces that we came across on the campus, which resulted in an end product that was nothing short of beautiful! David is skilled, prompt, personable and professional. We got some of our photos back on the same day as the session, and our entire gallery back in less than a week! Honestly, our engagement photos came out so much better than we could have ever expected. We have received countless complements on how gorgeous, natural and incredibly happy we come across in our pictures and we completely attribute it to David being able to capture us at our best! David was so much fun to work with! We had an initial call with him and were sold immediately! He was quick to respond to our questions and the day of the wedding was amazing! He's very aware of all lighting, time, and the overall surrounding of our wedding, which you could really see in the photos! We were on a boat and he new the moment for the perfect photo every time! I would HIGHLY recommend David England. His assistant the day of was equally amazing! We seriously can't thank them both enough!

I recently finished writing a book about real estate investing. It was a new project for me, so I wanted new photographs to rebrand myself.
It had been many years since I had professional photos taken, and my looks had changed since then. I knew it was time for a current portrait.
I didn't know any photographers personally, so I started looking online.
I Googled Linked In Photographer Long Beach, and David England Photography was on the first page, and had the highest rating. After my photo shoot, I know why. David was personable, professional, and really easy to work with. Right from the beginning he put me at ease. He asked me questions about the type of photos I was looking for, and how I planned to use them. He also took the time to explain the process of the session, even before he picked up his camera. David posed me, and checked my clothing to make sure everything was right. He took a few images and showed them to me. They looked REALLY GOOD! If you're on the fence about deciding whether or not to use David for any of your photography needs, just do it! You won't be disappointed.
My fiancé and I found David through an open house event at our wedding venue (tivoli too) and we are so glad we did. We instantly hit it off with him and booked our wedding, engagement shoot, and even a Mother's Day shoot with him.
David is professional and cool, calm, and collected all at the same time. I was most impressed with his attention to detail. He remembers EVERYTHING. I mention I don't want something in the shoot or vice versa and he absolutely makes sure that does or doesn't happen.
Also, David's communication is very efficient. These days it's so hard to get someone to give their word AND keep it. He's that man.

Our wedding ceremony was out-doors (tough lighting), the reception was indoors. David & his team did a fantastic job with minimal effort on our part. He communicated well & quickly. We hired David England for our new product line international launch event, there were many attendees from around the world and special guest speakers. In a crowded room with multiple areas to focus on, I was very impressed as to how well David captured this event in his photography. With very minimal direction, David was able to tell the story of our grand event in the photos that he took that day, this is how you know you are working with a great photographer...when you don't have to look for captions or explanations, you simply let the photos tell the story. When we met David it did not take long to know he was the right guy for us. He understood us and knew exactly what we were looking for. The quality of his work is amazing but I think what is as important is you can feel the vibe we were going for in his photos. David fit in like he was a family member and has great intuition to understand the company he is in and captured all the fun and feelings of our wedding. He captured all the beautiful ceremony and family moments and also the moments of laughter and pure joy which is shown so well in his work. David really made things easy for us and his relaxed manner and humor really made taking the picture so much fun. David and his wonderful assistant had some photographs ready for us at the end of our wedding so we knew that his work was amazing. We were totally shocked that they could have such great looking photographs ready in such a short amount of time. Jackie and I were blown away. Knowing how good the quality was we were so excited to receive the rest of the photos. David delivered CD's and a portable drive with the photos on it even earlier than the time frame he said he would. He also supplied a link to our Photos on line so that all of our relatives overseas could view them. His communication and professionalism from start to finish was brilliant. Not only did David take excellent photographs of and during our event, he was actually part of our entertainment for the evening. As part of our marketing around a particular item the event was a "sunset" event and David actually held small technical sessions for guests on how to take the best possible "sunset" picture with what-ever gadget or camera they had with them. It was an excellent event and David England Photography was a key part.

i went to david in march of 2016 for some updated photo's, mostly head-shot types. i'm not big on photo sessions, which is probably why i had waited too long to do this updating; however, i had the most pleasant surprise in store when i met up with david. the enviroment is very pleasant and relaxing. more so, his personality, nature, concern, and direction all made for a fast and fun time. he sure knows his job!!...and his subject. he asks alot of questions before we even started, HE LISTENS, then he takes over and all you have to do is follow. i ended up with numerous shots to select from, he ASSURED me to not be concerned over minor flaws in the proofs as he'd take the time and care to eliminate them from the selected shots .... and he did that! great photographer, great guy!!! i'd recommend him to anyone who wants to look BETTER THAN EVER!!! great job!!!

David England Photography was recommended to us by our wedding venue, Hornblower Yachts in Marina Del Rey, and it was the best decision we could have made. From our first emails with him, we liked his style and then when we we met a few weeks later, we knew instantly he was the photographer for us. His pictures were absolutely gorgeous and all of his subjects looked like they were having a blast!! As a result, we immediately booked him!
He and his co-photographer, Stephanie, showed up early on the day of our wedding, which was a huge relief to me (as I was nervous about anyone missing the boat) and immediately began putting everyone at ease. They fit right in with our family and friends and never once felt like an intrusion. As we had previously provided them with the pictures we had wanted, they arranged them all for us so we didn't have to worry or think of anything. As the day was ending, they provided us with a sampling of the pictures they had taken and each was better than the last. Our wedding was only 4 days ago and I have no doubt how amazing the pictures will look when we get them all in a few weeks!! I would definitely work with David England Photography again!!!!

My wife and I chose to have our wedding ceremony on a yacht from Hornblower Cruises in Newport Bay. The wedding coordinator provided a list of photographers which included David England Photography and said they photographed many of the weddings on Hornblower Cruises.
An hour before the wedding we met David England and his additional photographer, Jerry, on board the yacht. They were both extremely professional and enthusiastic about their work. David asked if we had any special request and I informed him that I my eight year old daughter was going to be in the wedding and that I wanted to make sure that we ended up with some nice photos of her during the event. David and Jerry soon began taking photos and we were really impressed by how they interacted with the wedding guests. When the time came for family and wedding party photos they had great ideas for the photos and the process was fun and stress free. Jerry took the time to follow my daughter around on the dance floor so he could get pictures of her enjoying the evening. At the end of the night David and Jerry presented my wife and I with a small leather bound portfolio that contained 10 photos from the wedding and another 15 photos with paper picture frames! We were amazed that he took the time and effort to print these out while on the yacht.
Approximately four weeks later as promised David emailed us a link to our photos and we also received them by mail on a flash drive. We now have amazing photos of our wedding and our guest. And as I was assured, we have many amazing photos of my daughter in the wedding and later dancing and having fun! David included several black and white versions of some of the color photos and the difference is amazing! We highly recommend David England Photography to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. David's service and his finished product are outstanding!

The whole event (Boy Scout Eagle Court of Honor) was captured in pictures. I was so busy hosting the event I didn't have time to enjoy the entire event but now I can look back on the wonderful pictures and see how it unfolded. Thank you David !!. David England is wonderful!!! We had a perfect experience. He was very responsive and professional prior to booking, which is so refreshing. We had a fairly challenging session as we had our 5 month old and our 2 dogs to include, and he was never frustrated. I was floored with his patience! Even when we were ready to be done with the shoot, he encouraged us to continue on and get some more shots! He had a super quick turnaround with our photos as well…he even had uploaded some of his favorites to his phone DURING the session and sent them to us! Are you kidding me?! So great! So we were able to send them to close family members as a teaser, and they loved them!! We were so happy with the photos and we can’t wait to put them on our first family Christmas card. David is the all-around perfect package. Great price, great attitude, great photos. If you are looking for a seamless experience, I would definitely recommend him…and we will be using him again!

My company was looking for a photographer near one of our locations for headshots. David graciously went on-location and took these photos in short notice. He even brought the backdrop/set up for the headshots to our warehouse so that we could have beautiful images to now keep in our company database for years to come. In addition, David captured magnificent candid photographs of our employees, which will be displayed in our company-wide video shown at the beginning of the new year. As I am located in a different office (in Colorado), I was very thankful that David took the time to call me during the photography session to check in. We will definitely keep David England Photography in mind for future work events!

I have had the pleasure of working with David England while he photographed food for my private chef website. The quality of the photos far exceeded my expectations as well as my web designer’s expectations. His close attention to detail and his eye for lighting and perfecting angles of each plate were impeccable. David made my photo shoot effortless for me. The head shots he created for me were incredible. It was difficult to choose just one. He is courteous and professional all the way. I don't normally write reviews, but I had to I was so pleased with David's work. I was referred to David for my wedding pictures. My wedding was October 3, 2015 He was the best !!! We had him do are engagement photos first. Me nor my husband are the picture type, but David made it so much fun he had us laughing and smiling the whole day. The picture came out so nice and we got them back within a few days. Now my wedding this man did his thing.... We had 3 photographers and they were all very good. He made us accordion album that same night with some of are wedding photos... the picture were beautiful. I can't express how happy I was with this mans work. Just from the first time I spoke with him on the phone I knew I was going to love his work. I took my husband to meet him before we sign up and even my husband had a good vibe about him. I will use him for all my picture in the future and I will send all my friends and family to him. He is awesome and does phenomenal work.... Thank you David again for everything you are the best!!!!!!!

All I can say is WOW!!! Having David do our wedding photography was the best decision I made, his creativity, originality, patience was Amazing!!. About 5 years ago, I used David England Photography for headshots. I loved his work so much that when I wanted to take personal photos for a Christmas present to my parents, I know there was no one else to use. Since that photo shoot, my company has asked for headshots for different events and I have been able to make use of many of the photos he took, making it an even better value for me.
David has a knack for getting people to relax and enjoy the session, where taking photos can usually be quite stressful. He focuses on you and the beauty that already exists rather than trying to make you look like someone you are not. Regardless of the event or need, you will walk away with pictures that you enjoy looking at and want to show off to people.
On top of his skills as a photographer, he is also incredibly professional and reliable.
I highly recommend David England Photography for any of your needs, whether it's personal or professional.

When my Husband and I were looking for a photographer, the most important thing to us was to find a photographer who truly captured the emotion of joy, laughter, and love. David was engaging, fun, and wow--what an amazing eye for the perfect shot! He has great attention to detail and was very creative in his work.
