Amazing venue and even better staff
My wife and I got married here this summer and have nothing but good things to say about the venue. We found them on google about 10 months prior to the wedding. They connected with us in a timely fashion and helped us every step of the way. If I can say one thing, is that they are very professional and courteous. They walk you through the entire process and even brought up things to us about the wedding process that we didn't event think of. They are in contact with you throughout the process and make it easy on you. The day of the wedding the staff and coordinators are excellent! They made everything run extra smooth and made sure we were on schedule for everything during the day. Afterwards my wife and I were extremely satisfied with how our day went. Thank you Davian's for making our special day memorable. -

September 26,2020 Wedding
Davian's did an awesome job with our wedding this past weekend. We could not of been happier that we chose this venue. Amy was so helpful through out the whole planning. She made sure everything was perfect. Even though covid tried to throw a few kinks in our plans Amy did everything she could do to make sure we had the perfect day. The day of the wedding she made sure everyone was where they needed to be even our DJ that kept disappearing. We used the whole venue from the outside gazebo are to using both room so everyone was spread out for social distancing. They have a beautiful bridal suite to get ready in as well. I would have another event here if needed in the future. -

25th Wedding Anniversary
We and our guests celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. The setting was perfect and the service was exceptional. Everyone loved the food and enjoyed the evening. The room was exquisite and welcoming. The sit down dinner was wonderful, we had several guests with special food requests related to their meal and the chef was able to accommodate, which was greatly appreciated; most importantly, the meal was not rushed, the servers timed everything perfectly. Overall, a wonderful and memorable experience, not only for us but our guests. -

Very friendly and accommodating!
Davians did a great job at our wedding! They table linens were neat and everything looked amazing. You get so much with your package. Not only did we get apps, salad, bread, entree and coffee, but we got a late night snack (sandwiches) and dessert spread (in place of the cake cutting fee since we had cupcakes)! They were very friendly and flexible. Thank you! -

Great atmosphere
We had an amazing wedding at Davians and their buffet was talked about all night long. The food was amazing and served quickly so our guests weren't waiting too long to eat. They were very accommodating and decorated the room for us as well as listened to every detail that we wanted included. Working with Jeanette was so helpful and made our night go so smoothly! -

Davians was absolutely amazing. All of the staff was very professional, attentive, and pleasant, especially Jeanette. We had an extra 20 guest and Davians provided extra tables and chairs, at no extra cost or hassle.They exceeded our expectations in every way.Also, one of the highlights of our night was when the owner was there at my wedding and came out to greet and thank us, we were shocked but felt very special. I would highly recommend Davians to anyone. Thanks again Davians and staff. -

Jeanette was awesome to work with. She was very helpful. We went over time at rehearsal and she was ok with it. The day of the wedding was beautiful. The staff was awesome. My guest loved every minute of the service. Wonderful facility. -

Davians did an excellent job on our wedding. The food was top-notch, the staff was friendly, and the space worked exceptionally well for our guests. They have done tons of weddings so they really know what they are doing. They could answer all our questions and ensured that all of our guests had a great time. They had so many great options for food and decor available to us.
We were really glad we chose them as the venue for our wedding. We would choose them all over again! -

Jan was wonderful!!! She was personal and listened to what I wanted in invitations and was able to come up with proofs I loved. Jan also did my wedding programs, table numbers and individual table cards, my invitations were beautiful and I received many compliments on them!! Jan also helped by giving me other suggestions and ideas for my table for my wedding wishing stones and memory table, she did the did the wording for each of those and put them in my frames for me. Jan is also going to do my thank you cards as soon as I get some pictures from the wedding! -

We worked with Jeanette and she was great. Our reception was beautiful and went off without any problems. Our space was set up exactly how we wanted and looked wonderful. The food was great and the service was superb. I can't say enough great things. I strongly recommend Davians. -

Davian's is a very beautiful venue for a wedding! They were very helpful with planning everything and answering any questions my husband and i had. All my guests said it was amazing and so pretty. They were very professional and i would recommend them to anyone! Amazing catering as well, the food was so good. -

I remember standing up in a wedding when I was 16, and Davians was the Reception location, and the caterer. Now, 12 years later, I knew this was the place I wanted for my wedding! We did shop around, but we still found that nothing compared to the price, quality, food, service, and location! Not only is the room exquisite, but the food is spectacular (verified by everyone who came to our wedding), the customer service was top notch (they encouraged me to come in or call as many times as I could to ask questions), and we absolutely got our money's worth for what we got!! We also enjoyed the food tasting that was shared by other brides, grooms, and their parents! Everything was sampled, questions were answered, and we were so excited to see how our attendants would enjoy the food, and venue, we chose! -

I cannot say enough good things about Davians! I absolutely LOVE this venue and will use it in the future when I throw a big party. Food was AMAZING! Staff was AMAZING! The place was beautiful and I stayed in my budget! -

Davian's is amazing. We have been to weddings there before and it was the only place that my fiance wanted to have our reception. Their food tasting party was a great way for us to customize our menu with our families help and their Design by Davian's staff made all of the little details of our day magical. Their Mimosa and chocolate fountains were a huge hit for all of our guests. The staff was polite and the manager on site the night of took care of everything. -

This place was the perfect venue for us for our wedding day! They took care of so much for us that it made the time leading up to the wedding day a whole lot less stressful than I imagined it to be! The food was outstanding, got lots of compliments from our guests. The decorations really opened up the room! We had a few special requests as far as the decorating went and they did it with no problems or fusses at all! It went so smoothly, I couldn't have asked for anything more! -

Davians is AMAZING!! They are so professional and know what they are doing. Everything was absolutely perfect for our day. They are very responsive to any changes that you want. Their white glove service is amazing. We got so many compliments about how beautiful the room was and how smoothly everything went. I loved that there were two managers available all night to make sure everything was perfect, and if we needed anything they were on it!! It was also a great choice for us because we were able to do both our ceremony and reception in the same place, which everyone appreciated. Davians did a great job and I wish I could get married again to have another great party here!! -

We are still receiving compliments on the dinner and the service we received from Davians back in September. The service was excellent along every step. Sarah worked with us down to the smallest of details as in providing our bar tender with a pitcher for water and placing our flowers and candles on the tables. The food was wonderful and we never had to worry about anything. I would recommend Davians highly for their attentiveness, great food, value and professionalism. -

Davian's is an EXCELLENT place to have your wedding reception. The staff was very friendly, professional and competent and they did everything on time and on the schedule they originally gave me; if they said we would eat by 6:00 then we ate by 6:00 and not a minute later. On the same hand, they were flexible enough to give the evening a relaxed, not rushed feeling. The manager periodically checked up on my husband and I to make sure everything was in order - in fact, there was a small mishap with one of our guests during the evening (NOT related to anything at Davian's) and the manager stepped up immediately to take care of the situation. We ended up giving him a big tip at the end of the night because he was so awesome.
And the food - AMAZING!! Two years later our guests still talk about how incredible the food was and how much fun they had. Their prices are reasonable, their staff is wonderful, their is food incredible and they will make your wedding night one to remember forever. -

I changed the date up earlier and they were great about it. I loved the food and was told by many that they had some of the best wedding food anyone ever experienced. The place was beautiful and stress free even with a sick mother of bride. -

Davian's was the preferred caterer of our banquet hall and I couldn't be happier! The food was phenomenal! Our guests continue to tell us how much they enjoyed all the food, especially the pecan encrusted chicken and wild rice pilaf. The planner helped us customize our table layouts to fit our theme and colors which added a special touch. Serving staff was polite and courteous. -

The planners and staff are excellent at listening to what you want and need. The day of the wedding they were completely on top of things. When I requested things they did them as fast as humanly possible. I would highly recommend Davians for your reception, if not for both the ceremony and reception. -

We used the decorating and catering services for Davians since our ceremony and reception was offsite. Tom and his staff were endlessly patient with all parties involved in the meal planning and the food was absolutely delicious. Our guest list had quite a few picky eaters and all of them raved about the wonderful food and how gorgeous our banquet hall looked. I can't think of a single thing I asked for that Davians could not make work, which made the whole process that much easier. I would recommend them to anyone for any kind of large event; they were so fantastic! -

I hired Davian's catering for my wedding on May 31st. I used their off site catering for my wedding which was very nice because they had nice packages that included plates, linens, glassware, napkins, and servers, which I needed for my venue choice. Everyone was very professional. I had to plan my wedding from another state half way across the country and they were still easy to talk to and plan with. Everybody did a wonderful job. I also really liked the food, especially the chicken. The only thing is that I wish they had a few more options to choose from for food choices so that we could have chosen some more unique food choices. I am happy with this vendor and I don't think I would have done it any other way. -

Davian's was really fun to work with! They were very helpful and I felt like I didn't have to worry about anything day of. They are a professional catering company so the food was delicious! They even had to delay our dinner by half an hour and made it up to us by providing a lot of pizzas! Jeanette was great to work with and responded quickly to any and every issue I had. We had a wonderful experience with Davians for our wedding reception. Kathy responded to our requests and questions within a reasonable time period and they allowed us to alter our reception to fit our style. There were a few instances that they weren't flexible, but I could understand why. The food was delicious and our guests thought so too. It was a little pricey, in my opinion, but the quality was great. I'm sure they count on fewer people being there for late night snacks and the coffee bar but they weren't used by our guests as much as I thought they would be. Overall, we had a great experience and I would recommend Davians. -

The team was always very responsive when I emailed. I had 2 issues, the cancellation process was ridiculous. Most venues will keep your deposit, and rebook your day with another couple. No they wanted more money from me to cancel, or they'd take me court. AND they would not even attempt to rebook, unless I gave more money. I think at least 25%, if thats the case rather than cause conflict maybe charge 25% as a deposit.
Last, and most important!!! Since I added 10 plates 7 days before my wedding was not allowed to cancel it 6 days before my wedding. I had a balance they should have very well requested prior to my wedding day. BECAUSE ONE OF THE LADIES NOT JEANETTE, CAME UP TO ME WHEN I WAS ENJOYING FAMILY AND REALLY JUST TRYING TO ENJOY MY DAY... IN FRONT OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND ASKED ME FOR THE BALANCE! Yes, its ok to handle business but ask to speak to me in private! or approach the couple alone at the table, so many more professional ways she could have handed such a small balance. -

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When you pay thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars for a venue, you expect things to be correct. It wasn’t just one or two things that were slip-ups on our big day….it turned into quite the list. Some of these items really aren’t a big deal, but it’s the fact that it was a growing list that really is what made the situation frustrating.
We had our reception there in December 2017, and these are a few of the things that happened:
1) The delay between salad and dinner was honestly downright embarrassing. Thank GOODNESS we had an awesome DJ (shout-out to Downtown Harrison!!) that kept the crowd going!!!!
2) I was standing in line behind my aunt at the bar when she ordered a Miller Lite around 9pm. The bartender charged her for the beer, even though that was one of the beers we chose to be included in our package. I immediately spoke up, and we then realized that the wrong beers had been on tap the entire night, so our guests were being charged for what should have been included.
3) Our best man wasn’t served his dinner. He had to go hunt down the server to get his meal.
4) We frequently had people coming into our room from the other hall and enjoying our open bar. We let Jeanette know this was occurring at one point, but the issue continued.
5) The taco bar (our “late night snack”) was VERY poorly tended to. We heard multiple guests complaining that there weren’t any chips, silverware, etc.
6) The “free” photo booth that they seem to often promote is ABSOLUTE garbage. We still haven't seen the pictures that WERE taken because they mailed our flash drive to the wrong address and won't admit their mistake. They are ignoring my emails and phone call.
To say we’re disappointed in them is an understatement at this point in time.
