So pleased with the DJ service and such a super nice guy!!!! You can't go wrong by using him. Don't waste your time shopping around.....

Excellent choice

We loved having DJ Dave for our wedding. He was so easy to work with, and held our hand through the process of selecting songs for the ceremony and all the smaller events during the reception. He told us at our first meeting that we could either give him a list of songs we wanted to hear and he would stick to that, or he could come up with a playlist based on what type of music we wanted to hear that night. We just selected which genres we liked (which was almost everything, so it didn’t narrow down the choices for him) and then told him to do his thing! We put our trust in him and it payed off well. He was very professional for the whole event and worked seamlessly with the other vendors. The party was fantastic, and the music was family friendly for our large wedding reception. Everyone - guests and venue coordinators - loved DJ Dave’s music selection! I hope to see him at other weddings in the future.

Wedding Reception

I highly recommend Dave's DJ service. He was extremely professional, kept the wedding reception running smoothly, and kept everybody on the dance floor. We're getting compliments about how good the music was even weeks after the wedding.

Dave’s DJ Service was great! He made planning so easy with his worksheets, ensuring you don’t miss anything important! His service was very affordable and you definitely get your money’s worth! Very great song selections that the guests loved and kept them dancing all night long! He was great about making accommodations for everything we requested, but also made great recommendations to improve the flow of everything! I would highly recommend!

Wonderful dj!

Dave was a wonderful dj. I would recommend his services to anyone getting married. He kept the wedding events on schedule and kept a the party moving all night.

I used Dave’s dj service for my wedding and Dave really provided top notch service. He was easy to reach and flexible. I told him what I wanted for the reception and He did exactly that. He is professional and incredibly organized. I would recommend him to anyone!

David was amazing to work with! Not only was he highly professional, but he also knew how to get everyone dancing and to keep them dancing. He was also really flexible. He worked with us on music requests from our guests and arranged them so that everyone had a chance to hear and dance to their song. My wife and I highly recommend him!

The total package and more! Having Dave's service was much more than that expected of a DJ, he helped to orchestrate the entire ceremony from start to finish. He has great ideas such as the timeline, which really helped me as a Bride to visualize the "flow" of the ceremony through the reception, which was a relief. He also had great ideas for entertainment. Everyone there loved the shoe game! He was very professional, entertaining, accommodated all requests, and really gave us a memorable night!

My husband and I were so satisfied with Dave! From the attire to how he conducted himself at the reception was appreciated by not only my husband and I but many of our guests were also impressed by him. He is so professional and friendly! We never had any issues and we are so thankful that he was willing to work with us even though we contacted him on such a short notice. We also loved his set up, it fit right into our wedding! We recommend him to everyone!

DJ DAVE IS AWESOME!!!!! Highly recommend! I was a 24 year old bride with a 23 year old groom and DJ played the most perfect music!! I was a little hesitant because he doesn't play explicit music (which i really appreciate) but was slightly worried that he wouldn't play the clean versions-- not true at all! He played everything we requested before the reception and during the reception. He is VERY professional and thorough, he knows what he is doing! He is such a nice guy and he does a phenomenal job! Thanks DJ Dave!!!

I worked as a wedding coordinator at a wedding where David was the DJ. He went above and beyond to make sure he was following the bride and grooms request as well as playing music to get the guest on the dance floor. He stayed in contact with me throughout the entire reception to make sure everything was perfect. He is extremely professional and very personable. Will be using him again in the future and Would highly suggest booking him for your next event

My fiance' was skeptical of using a DJ that was not from around our area of Louisiana, but after meeting with David I knew that he was the right choice for our wedding reception. DJ Dave was incredibly professional and organized. His price was reasonable and well worth it. His contract was very informative not only for him but for us as well. Also, his website was very helpful when I began planning our wedding music for the actual ceremony (which was a big bonus because I didn't know where to start!). Our wedding guests varied from very old to very young. I didn't want him to play any inappropriate music but I wanted him to play music the guest wanted to dance to. Thanks to DJ Dave he found a happy medium of music that everyone liked and we all danced the night away!!! Our event would not have been the same without him. "Comments about Dave's DJ Service at the reception of Mary Karnath and Mark Duhe'. The music selection appealed to all age groups of our guests. DJ Dave was able to locate and play all of the special requested music for the reception. The service provided was very professional as one would expect at their daughter's wedding. The guests had nothing but compliments about the music that was played and how much fun they all had at the reception."

Having David at my daughter's wedding was such a joy! He put my mind at ease and really cared about what we wanted. David is attentive, professional, and a delight to be around. DJ Dave did a fantastic job providing music for our wedding. He has an extensive selection of music that will please just about everybody. If he doesn’t have the song you’re looking for, he will find it. We loved that he does not just play music; he creates a fun atmosphere for the guests. He offers unique ideas to get the crowd involved with fun dances and games. I would recommend DJ Dave for any event because he is a true professional and great at what he does!!!

Not sure if a sentence or two would cover it! Dave’s dress and appearance was very professional. His attention to detail from the moment we arrived until the reception concluded was excellent. We took his suggestion on the shoe game with the bride and groom as well as the YMCA hat dress up with the groomsmen, they were an absolute hit with our guests! We have used other DJ’s and attended other peoples' functions where they have been used as well and most all have been pretty good, but Dave is in another league!

Dave was very professional and helpful throughout this process. He was easy to communicate with and contact. Dave helped create a timeline and made sure the reception stayed on schedule. During the reception, Dave played music that kept us and our guests on the dance floor all night long.

Excellent and friendly work. Kept the entire wedding up beat and moving while still thinking of the elders at the wedding. The shoe game was a very fun Idea. Very nice job and everything was very very very well timed. Highly recommend!

The Shoe Game was a very big hit with all of our guests, we have not seen that at any weddings in our area (Baton Rouge) and everyone raved about how fun it was.

I absolutely loved him for our wedding! We are from out of town and had our wedding in Lafayette. He had us choose our wedding songs for special events during the wedding ahead of time. Every thing was planned out, which made everything less stressful for me. We used River Oaks Catering and he has worked with them before so he already knew where to set up. He had every song I requested, and I would recommend him to anyone.

Dave was awesome! He was very friendly, professional and easy to work with. The music for my reception was perfect and Dave played any song we requested. Dave worked well with the other vendors and his idea of a timeline made our reception flow smoothly. Will definitely recommend Dave to anyone and will hire him again for events!!!

Dave did a fantastic job at our wedding. My husband and I both love music so we wanted a variety of current hits, oldies, country and Cajun played at our reception. Dave gave us exactly what we wanted and kept the tunes going with a nice mix of music. He also interacted great with our guests even doing a quick teaching of the Macarena Dance that had everyone laughing and got young and old participating. I would recommend Dave's DJ Service to anyone planning a wedding, from planning to execution he is top notch!

DJ Dave went above and beyond to make my wedding reception more memorable than I imagined it could be. He provided professional, quality service before and during the reception. His recommendation of a written timeline helped things flow smoothly. He knew that an afternoon reception might need an extra boost to keep the fun going, so he recommended a few things such as The Shoe Game and the YMCA dance with the groomsmen. Everyone loved it. DJ Dave cleverly hid all of the equipment wires with a beautifully lit façade. DJ Dave thought of everything.

Not only did Dave's provide quality music, but the DJ interacted with our guests to make sure that everyone had a great time. I would hire Dave's DJ Service again, for any type of party.

DJ Dave was awesome. He was very easy to deal with and very professional from beginning to end. DJ Dave played everything we requested and kept the volume at an acceptable level as per our request. He knows how to keep a party flowing smoothly. My husband and I and all our guests loved his elegant set up with the lit facade' and uplighting. He is also a very good MC and knows how to entertain a crowd. The Shoe Game was a blast. Dave's DJ Service is affordable and I recommend them to everyone. What a great memory. Thanks DJ Dave.

Dave was our choice from the first phone call. We found him to be honest and personable from the very beginning. After meeting with him in person, we knew we had made the correct choice. He talked with us asking questions that we may not have thought to ask. As we talked he helped us solidify our vision for my daughter's wedding. He communicated with us as he developed the timeline for the wedding and reception, graciously making adjustments so that things would run smoothly. His delivery was impeccable from start to finish. He had a sense for pacing and selection throughout the event, keeping guests involved and aware of upcoming events. I would not hesitate to recommend Dave for any event requiring a professional DJ. Give him a call. You won't be disappointed.
