Dave was absolutely fantastic to work for our wedding! During our engagement session, we became immediately comfortable with Dave and his expertise was instantly clear. Taking photos is innately awkward, but he made us feel very natural during our session. Before our wedding, we had multiple planning calls with Dave in order to create the best timeline for not only photography events, but for the entire wedding schedule of events. On the day of the wedding, Dave and Jason ensured all the events were captured from getting ready to first look and our private vows to all of the ceremony and reception. We could confidently enjoy our day while we knew Dave and Jason were documenting every detail of the wedding. They coordinated directly with the venue staff and our DJ to make sure we could spend as much time with our guests as possible. Just two days after the wedding, Dave sent us all 1,500+ edited photos from our wedding. All of the photos turned out amazing and we are so grateful for all of Dave’s hard work, flexibility, and photographic expertise. We cannot recommend Dave and his team enough to any other future wedding couples! -

Dave is absolutely the best! After witnessing his talent from other weddings, it was the easiest choice to have Dave do both photography and videography for our wedding. From the moment we contacted him until we had everything in our hands, Dave was highly professional, efficient, adaptable, and skilled. He responded to all communication quickly, scouted out spots at the venue pre-wedding, and went through our timeline so seamlessly that we didn't have to worry about a thing. We couldn't have been more confident in a vendor throughout this entire process, which is exactly what you want as a bride and groom. Dave took care of everything behind the scenes and adapted anything that was needed throughout. He brought a team of professionals who were just as talented and made us feel totally comfortable. And the cherry on top? We received our photos within a week and our videos within two weeks. He captured each moment so beautifully that we are having a hard time deciding what to print! Dave made any edits we wanted within a day, and they were so great that not much was even needed. If you're looking for someone to take care of your photo and video needs, Dave goes above and beyond in the most seamless manner. -

Dave was my favorite wedding vendor to work with. He was organized, professional, personable, and supportive. Dave made sure we got every picture we wanted to get on our wedding day. He held several quick meetings a few months before the wedding to create a timeline that worked for us. The pictures we have with our family are our favorite pictures, he captured the most precious candid moments that we will cherish forever. He went above and beyond for us; Dave visited the venue and church prior to the ceremony/reception to map out the perfect area to take pictures. He went at the time the events would take place to make sure he had the lighting into consideration! The wedding party, and wedding guests have said multiple times how great of a photographer he was and how he captured those very special moments. 10/10 would recommend Dave!! Dave, thank you for making our wedding day so special. -

Dave was amazing from beginning to end! He is a truly professional photographer. The quality of his photos is incredible and his eye for the perfect moment, the perfect lighting, and the perfect picture is always spot on. He is extremely thoughtful of every photo taken. His years of experience show GREATLY in the quality of photos. He takes many photos, so there were a TON of amazing options for my husband and I to choose from. He is extremely professional, very quick to respond, proactive with planning, and great to work with. He was always available for a meeting to brainstorm, go over timelines, or plan a session. I cannot recommend Dave enough, he is absolutely wonderful. We have the PERFECT wedding photos. -

I have worked with Dave twice over the last two wedding seasons and he has been such a huge help my the couples I work with that are looking to live stream their ceremonies. He was always very responsive via email and offered great pricing to my couples. On wedding day he always arrives on time and offered an elevated live stream experience for the friends and family that could not be at the wedding in person. Couldn't have asked for a cooler photog
For our wedding, we were looking for a cool photographer who wouldn't overdo it and be too much in our faces. Dave is cool by nature and completely accommodated our preferences. The photos he got were of amazing quality—the staged ones seemed natural, and he captured candid shots that we couldn't have expected. Throughout, he was courteous, kind, and utterly professional. Fabulous experience
We hired Dave McIntosh Photographics for our daughter's wedding. Dave sent Jason W. out to shoot the wedding, and he did a fabulous job. He was professional, had great ideas for photos and was a pleasure to work with. Dave edited the photos and we received the finished photos just three days after the wedding. Dave is the man
My wife and I had our wedding sept.of 2022 and booked Dave to take care of us sometime in October of 2021. Working with Dave felt like being taken care of by an true professional. Had a number of great spots to take our engagement photos, touched base with us and had video calls to discuss day of event plans, and at the wedding itself Dave and his team took care to not only get the best couple/family shots after the ceremony but to get pictures throughout the night that truly helped capture what a magical event it was. Having a solid photographer for the big day is a huge deal for a bride and groom. Hiring Dave left us worry free and well taken care of. -

Dave was fantastic! From our initial email he was so quick to respond every time we reached out to him, and he set up a meeting with us right away to answer our questions. His pricing is extremely reasonable, especially given how experienced he is and the quality of his work. Dave is super knowledgeable, talented, organized, patient, and a pleasure to work with. He got so many gorgeous shots of me with my husband and our families (and remembered to take portraits that I had forgotten about!), and then lots of lovely shots throughout the night. The most incredible part was that he got the photos out to us within 3 days of shooting! Over 500 pictures! They're available for download from an online gallery, he's going to send us a zip file, and he's mailing us a USB, as well. What a gem. He did a wonderful job and we loved working with him. I would highly highly recommend him for any event or special occasion! THANK YOU, DAVE!! -

Quality, Professionalism, Responsiveness
We used Dave for our wedding this year and I cannot recommend him enough.
We purchased the Hollywood Streaming package and the photo package. First off, very reasonably priced compared to some other photographers and the level of care and consideration on his end was absolutely top notch. The pictures were incredible.
Dave went through every action item with us via a face time video and created a full itinerary for us for our wedding day and had us put together the photos we wanted along with music selections for our ceremony. It all turned out better than we could have hoped for.
Dave arrived early on the day of and we got started almost right away with the photos and he had everything setup for the stream with plenty of time to spare. His crew was courteous and professional. Dave's level of detail to the photos was apparent when we got the full photo album back. Every photo was spot on, not only the photos we asked for, but the photos that he directed and the "spur of the moment" photos that he captured really summed up the entire feel and spirit of the wedding.
These will be photos (and video) that I will be happy to look back on forever. If you are local to the area and looking for an extremely professional and well organized photographer then Dave is your man.
He was a pleasure to have at the wedding. Very nice and well put together and interacted with everyone at the wedding.
I would recommend Dave and any of his services without hesitation. You will not be disappointed! -

The pictures are perfect
Dave was able to perfectly capture what turned out to be the best day of our lives. Choosing Dave as our photographer was one of the first and easiest decisions we made about our wedding, and it was one of the best! From our first meeting through two postponements, one elopement, and finally the big day, Dave was professional, flexible, accommodating, knowledgeable, and fun. He truly understands photography, especially lighting, and will work to ensure that each photo is perfect. He was amazingly flexible, rescheduling our engagement photos due to weather, and making himself available on a day’s notice when we decided to elope Covid-style. He came with his own know-how and ideas for shots, but was also more than happy to accommodate last minute requests or ideas for shots- and every one turned out beautiful!!!! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to find someone experienced to live-stream our wedding for the many people who could not travel to our wedding, but we also wanted to go with a service that provided both photography and live streaming for our wedding. Fortunately, Dave McIntosh showed up as a top result in our online searches and his in-depth website made us know we wanted to work with him. Meeting with him initially, we told him what we had in mind for our ceremony and reception (two locations that were a 25 min drive apart, with the ceremony ending at 1 PM and reception starting at 3 PM) which was no problem for him in terms of setting up for the live stream. I told him we were doing a Catholic wedding and he responded by saying that was all he needed to know. He also provided good recommendations to help us work within our budget but provide the services we really wanted. We also went with getting engagement photos to get more photos of us together and to get to know our photographer, Jason, who posed us in a way that required minimal direction. We received the photos within a week and were able to get a large variety of photos we loved. For the wedding, Dave and his team showed up early to set up at the church and rolled with last-minute changes that happened throughout the day. The ceremony and reception were recorded and photographed beautifully and after the wedding, we got all of the live streaming footage, Zoom logs, and photos within a few days of the event! Dave's quick responsiveness and experience have made working with him absolutely wonderful. We are so grateful to him and his team (Jason and Dan) for helping extend our wedding to many who could not make it and recording our memories that we can look back upon for years to come! -

People always think that photos are a good place to try and save money. Let me tell you that having a professional and smooth photo/video team is absolutely priceless. We used Dave McIntosh Photographics for both photo and video, including some drone footage and I am so incredibly happy with their work. I utilized the second shooter for a large portion of the day. The photos they took are outstanding and the way that they utilized the lighting and the different angles and lenses was amazing. Some photos were taken at the same time with different angles and they look like completely different pictures! Dave was kind and patient, professional the entire time but also easy to interact with. He was kind to this COVID bride and helped me organize my thoughts for photos on the day of. His team was not intrusive and captured every moment I could have wanted, while still allowing all the wedding guests to also experience everything. The highlight video was amazing and beautifully edited to perfection. He used the voiceover of the toasts and ceremony in the video which was so original and meaningful to me and my husband. This team was amazing and I would use them again in a heartbeat. 12/10, highly recommend!

My wife and I recently got married in Washington, D.C. right in the middle of the pandemic. We obviously had to downsize our wedding from 200 to about 40 people. We still wanted to be able to share our wedding with our family and friends but weren't into just setting up a laptop with the camera pointed at us. Dave had multiple cameras set up to broadcast to YouTube, and we also opted for the package where he brought a second videographer along. To just call Dave our photographer would be the understatement of the century. I remember the first email Dave sent us after we booked him finished with the line- you have made the right decision. He could not have been more right. We found him because we knew he was familiar with Christian Weddings and Hindu Weddings- which is what we were having. He immediately proved to be knowledgeable, flexible, compassionate, and really savvy. During COVID, we had to sunset our original plans and transition to a virtual wedding. Despite our fears and anxiety in shuffling plans, he helped us stay calm and collected. He was willing to update our contract so that it included video streaming, which he took sole responsibility in learning the technology, setting up links, and thinking creatively the entire way. I can't say how many of our family members not only loved his photos but were beyond impressed at the stream he setup for us. He was able to bring together over 500 people across the globe, and we can never thank him enough. What I think I find most valuable in Dave is his perfectionist personality. I'm someone who always needs a plan B, while Dave is someone who is always prepared with a plan B, C, and D. He will be your most trusted advisor through the process while also sharing in laughs and love along the way. I literally cannot imagine what our day would have looked like without him. -

Words can't describe how thankful we were to have Dave as our wedding photographer. His professionalism, creativity, thoroughness, and flexibility were so reassuring. He truly makes a connection with his clients and has a way of making everyone comfortable during photo sessions and coming up with a variety of natural poses. His work clearly speaks for itself, you can see his photos are absolutely breathtaking. I am so grateful with how he captured our special day and the timeline he created with me in making sure we were organized and family portraits went so smoothly with his system etc. He is so time efficient and flexible. There was a bit of a hiccup with our ladies getting ready in the morning that led us to being an hour behind with our schedule. Dave immediately took charge and rearranged the entirety of our schedule so we still got all of the pictures we wanted without having to make any sacrifices. He is so great taking charge in engaging our family and friends in photos, while also being behind the scenes to take intimate photos. During our engagement session, we experienced unpredictable weather half way through- that had put a damper on our day. However, Dave immediately reassured me that we could re-schedule our session and not to worry about it. SOME HOW- Dave managed to get so many great shots during our 1st engagement session so we were so fortunate to have a variety of pictures to choose from. We hired Dave McIntosh for both our engagement photos and our wedding day. From the moment we met him, we knew he was the perfect person to capture our special memories. He has a calming personality which is exactly what you want on an otherwise hectic wedding day. The engagement photoshoot was a perfect way to us all to get to know each other and for us to become comfortable in front of the camera. We recently moved to the Baltimore area, and Dave used that opportunity to take us to some excellent locations to capture us falling in love in with the beauty of our new hometown.
Dave has an great eye for beautiful shots and his years of experience shine through in the amazing photos we received. His assistant, Jason, was awesome with the nervous Groom, and the shots he took from the "guys" perspective were really special. They both felt like members of our family by the end of the night!
The entire process from beginning to end (the contract, scouting shooting locations at the venue, planning of the shot list, and especially the "day of" photography - from the "First Look", to the ceremony. to the formal shots. and to the very last dance) was stress free and extremely professional. Our photos are outstanding! Some bring tears to my eyes every time. We can't wait to see our wedding album!

Time did not matter and we all know that during wedding planning thoughts and ideas pop up at anytime of the day and night and Dave did not miss a beat. He is fun to work with and knows how to incorporate one’s vision and ideas with his knowledge and expertise. I would recommend him for any occasion. -
Katie Sent on 07/05/2018we found they through our sister wedding and decide to work with him on ours. His team are friendly and professional which make them the best. Since we chose our date on March, the weather is pretty cold and they still manage to take tons of video and pictures. Dave knows how to corporate with our families even though we are Vietnamese, but language is not an obstacle. Thank you Dave and your Team! Highly recommended.
