We chose Das Meyer after hearing plenty of rave reviews, and I am so glad we did. We attended a cake tasting with them - which was the only tough part of the planning process - there were so many delicious flavors to choose from! They were so helpful and communicative throughout the entire process, and our guests loved the cake that was delivered. Perfectly fluffy, moist, and delicious - and the decorations were stunning! I can't recommend Das Meyer enough.

Amazing and great quality
Das Meyer gave us a beautiful 3 tiered cheesecake decorated exactly as I envisioned! Plus chocolate covered strawberries. My guests loved it all! The price was VERY reasonable for the quality and they delivered it to the venue the day of. Thank you!!

Our venue recommended Das Meyer. We had looked at a few other bakeries, but Das Meyer's prices were much more budget friendly, and their cake is to die for! I'm not usually someone who likes cake, but I'm officially a cake-convert! They are a family owned and operated business, and truly go the extra mile to ensure you get the cake you want! There are so many flavors to pick from that there will definitely be something for everyone!

Beautiful, Delicious, and High Quality!
We found Das Meyer as they were recommended by our day of coordinator, as well as constant recommendations from a bride group on Facebook. We went in for a tasting in their reception space next to their bakery. We were warmly greeted and given a detailed information sheet with cake sizes, prices, and flavors. We were given 13 flavors to try! They encouraged us to take as much time as we needed, and if we wanted to try any flavors a second time they could do that for us as well to help narrow down. We brought our own cake stand (a log/stump) and they measured it and were able to tell us which size of tiered cake would be able to fit on that. We chose three flavors: Triple chocolate, Triple White, and Lemon poppy seed with strawberry filling. Once we had our decision we went next door to the bakery to place our order. We were greeted warmly here as well and we sat at a table and Rachael came over to help us. Rachael was so kind, caring, and patient. She answered all of our questions, and walked us through everything very thoroughly. She was able to capture our vision for the cake and even showed us around the show room to give us a vision of how certain elements of our cake would look. As we were sitting at the table, one of the workers was decorating a cake that was extremely close to our vision, we were so lucky that Rachael was able to capture the details of that cake as well in our order. She was willing to take as much time as we needed to discuss details of the cake. I really felt that they were invested in me as a bride and us as a couple to make sure we had everything we envisioned for our big day. This place is absolutely amazing with what they can do. Any vision that you have, they can achieve it. They even have things you can rent for your cake, or you are also welcome to bring in your own non edible items to include as well. They have loads of flavors, loads of shapes and sizes, and loads of options, not mention that their cake is fluffy and delicious! This place is also family owned which makes it that much more intimate and special. Be aware that while the pricing for the cake is very reasonable and in our budget, know that there are more charges than just the cake. There are extra charges for decorative costs, and delivery and set up. You don’t have to do delivery and set up, however it does make everyone’s life a lot easier since they know what they are doing and your cake is in good hands. Also know that if your cake is stacked/needs support, you have to put down a deposit for things that aren’t optional like the cake stand itself and the pillars for extra support within the cake. You just have to remember to clean them and then return them to the bakery in order to not be charged. Also note that they only take cash and check. When the final invoice came through, it was a little more expensive than what we intended, but we knew the cake would be high quality and what we wanted. On the day of when the cake arrived, we were BLOWN AWAY. It was better than anything we had ever envisioned! We received so many compliments on how beautiful the cake was. It was absolutely stunning and perfect and everything we wanted exactly how we wanted. Once we saw the cake, it was worth it. We received many compliments on how beautiful and delicious the cake was. The chocolate slices were gone in just a few minutes! The lemon poppy seed was so refreshing for our July wedding. The triple white was so light and airy. Every call and every interaction with Das Meyer and its employees well exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend this bakery to any bride with any vision. They are high quality and invested in you, all within my budget. We were so delighted with how the cake turned out, and tasted too! The cake really pulled together our theme and vision for our big day!

Friendly, great options-Tasting
Love how this bakery offers free cake tastings for couples every Saturday. Although we didn’t hire this vendor, they were so kind to let me and my fiancé try everything right before the tasting was about to end. Good quality, great taste, and so many choices! Will use them in the future!

Our wedding cake
We had a three tier cake made. Each tier was a different flavor which were top chocolate caramel royal, middle was a yellow cake with passionfruit filling, bottom was strawberry champagne. Each tier was delicious and full of flavor. We also got a deal with our venue and is the reason we only paid 150.

Cake love for everyone.
We loved picking out our cake at Das Meyer. They are all so very nice. It’s like walking into a fantasy bakery. Anything you can think of they can make. We chose a three tiered cake. The top layer was toll house cookie, the second chocolate Carmel royal, and the bottom layer was fruit on a cloud. Such a wonderful cake. Everyone loved it.

They have so many flavors to chose from that are all fantastic. We picked four different flavors; 1 for the grooms cake and 3 for our wedding cake. They worked with us on the style of each of the cakes. Both turned out perfect and tasted great too. This is the cutest little bakery I've ever seen!
The free cake tasting was delicious and made it really hard for us to decide on our flavors. We ended up going with a three-tier cake and an extra sheet cake. They let us choose different flavors for each tier which was an unexpected bonus for me. They have a lot of books you can look through in order to give you ideas for a cake design. It looked just as I imagined it would on our wedding day and was as delicious as I hoped. I’m probably going to start getting my birthday cakes here because they are just so delicious!

While this cake place is very expensive it is worth it. They have free tastings on Saturdays for couples and you're allowed to bring up to 4 people with extra charge. You do not have to make an appointment which is nice. If you do not want to spend a lot of money I suggest doing sheet cakes and a one or two tier cake that will make it less expensive but still same great cake. They do have a delivery fee.

Having Das Meyer Fine Pastry Chalet make my wedding cake was definitely the easiest decision of wedding planning, and one of the best! We went in for their free tasting on a Saturday and immediately fell in love with their small business charm and adorable cafe. Delicious does not even begin to describe how amazing every flavor of cake we sampled was - - narrowing it down to just two flavors was almost impossible, they were all just too good. Das Meyer listened to everything that I was thinking style/decoration-wise and helped me come up with the perfect design. So easy and so helpful!
Their pricing is unbelievable.... we had shopped around at three other Denver area bakeries who wanted to charge us at least double of what our wedding cake ended up being at Das Meyer. Our wedding cake turned out exactly as I had imagined, and it was SOOOO DELICIOUS! I cannot say enough good things about Das Meyer Fine Pastry Chalet, and HIGHLY recommend them to any Denver area brides!

I heard about Das Meyer from a co-worker who used them for her wedding and after a few tastings at other bakeries it was clear that Das Meyer had the best tasting cake! We loved going to the cake tastings and were warmly welcomed each time. We chose the chocolate and caramel cake, which was delicious and they also nailed the cake design. Not only did they respond quickly to emails, we also brought in a lavender color swatch for them to use for the colors of our cake, which they matched perfectly. Overall, we loved working with them and especially the cake! We are extremely happy and they did not disappoint!

We used Das Meyer cake for my bridal shower, a friend’s baby shower and our wedding all within a month’s span! The cakes are truly out of this world phenomenal tasting and beautiful. We went to the cake tastings they have on Saturdays and it helped us narrow them down. We ended up getting a cake shaped like an aspen tree along with sheet cake and a groom’s cake for the Colorado Avalanche. We did the Bailey’s & chocolate, strawberry & champagne and Crème Brule and each of them were beautiful and delicious!

Das Meyer makes THE BEST CAKES!!!!!! Our family has been getting Das Meyer cakes for all major life events for years now, and our wedding was no exception!! You cannot go wrong. With all their amazing flavor options (seriously, SO MANY DELICIOUS CHOICES!), Zach's flawless and incredible cake design, and their super friendly customer service, there's no other option! We were thrilled they have ample gluten-free options and helped us put a dessert package together that satisfied everyone. We had a hard time selecting which flavors of cakes we wanted, so we put a 'cake poll' up on our wedding website and let our guests choose! It was so fun!! The guests loved feeling involved in that way, and they got soooo excited about all the amazing flavor options! It was a super fun way to do it. If you're in the Denver area you really owe it to yourself to go do a tasting on a Saturday and check them out. Your tastebuds will be watering for days. We did a combo of 3 different cake flavors and a couple types of cheesecake bars at our wedding, and our guests have been continually commenting on how delicious all the desserts were ever since. :-)

We ordered a four tier, three flavor wedding cake. The flavors were all amazing (just like they were on the tasting day) and the bakery was really easy to work with. A quick phone call was all I ever needed to do to get a hold of someone. PLUS, the coolest part was being able to send them paint chips that matched the men's suits and Das Meyer custom mixed our cake icing to match!

Everyone swears it was the best wedding cake they've ever had. We went with a chocolate bailey's I believe, and strawberry and they were both absolutely delicious. They have cake tastings every Saturday and it was really hard to choose which to have, we just tried to go with what would be eaten by most people. They were super helpful, as we live out of town and they worked with us every step of the way. Pricing was well within our budget. I made changes about three times while ordering the cake, and they helped me figure out the perfect, simple design that I wanted. We also made a change to the size of our cake about a week before the wedding and they were incredibly accommodating and gave us a refund for the difference immediately. We also had pies that were just beautiful and tasted amazing as well! Absolutely amazing family to work with, we can't imagine going with anyone else.

My family has been going to Das Meyer for decades and I could t imagine a better place to get our wedding cake. From their open house tastings to designing our cake, delivery and returning cake plates - Das Meyer was a breeze. Our cake was delicious (did you know they make their own cream and butter?) and our guests raved about howgood it was. It was stunning and exactly what we wanted.

When it comes to cakes, Das Meyer is the best. We ordered our first cake in August 2007 for our wedding. Every year we order cakes from them for our anniversaries, birthdays and other occasions. My 40th birthday cake that my husband ordered from them was incridible. My frozen character birthday cake last year, was very amazing. I love Das Meyer. We are going there today, to order my birthday and our anniversary cake. We don't buy cakes from any other cake shop. Because Das Meyer, has it all.

In high school, I used to work for a German Bakery and became a cake specialist! This bakery is still well known in our home town and they are famous for their wedding cakes. As a result, my standards for wedding cake are very high. When looking for wedding cake choices, I knew it would be a challenge to find a bakery that I liked for our destination wedding. Our venue included the Das Mayer Cake and going to the bakery for an initial visit felt like going to a cottage out of a storybook. Staff are friendly, patient, flexible, and extremely professional (even with the strange old register). Das Mayer delivered our cake to the site and my heart melted! It was gorgeous as they had followed a suggested design from a picture that I found on Pinterest. People still rave about how beautiful it looked and how moist, flavorful, and extremely delicious our wedding cake was that day!

A small Victorian shoppe with a stellar reputation. Free Saturday tastings are fun, 10 flavors, and you're welcome to return.. A very large selection of flavors, super light frostings & yummy fillings. Very accommodating for small cakes too. We picked orange blossom, very light and decorated exactly as desired. Our wedding cake couldn't have been any better! We went with the orange blossom, and our guests raved about it! I'm a chocolate girl through and through but it was hands down the best cake I've ever had. I strongly recommend going to the tastings they have and sampling all of them because you never know what you'll like best! The cake arrived on time and it was beautiful.

This place is cash/check only and don't have any sort of computerized system. That said though, they are extremely organized and have a lot of experience. I really liked how easy going they were. We went with berries in a cloud... delicious! We got a few of their turnovers which were really tasty!! We actually went to an offsite tasting of theirs and loved the owners. Our Judge who officiated our wedding (Judge Andre Rudolph) also used them years ago and raved about them.
One small regret I have is not coordinating the color of our frosting with our cake topper. This is not the fault of Das Meyer by any means, I just thought it could help any readers. Das Meyer did exactly what we asked and the cake was delicious.

Big picture: The cake was AMAZING.
So, tastings are every weekend, no appointment necessary, and they have A LOT of flavors to choose from. Taste until you can't taste anymore. They are very low pressure people, and the bakery chalet is really pretty. There are hundreds of pictures of cake to look at, as well as sample cakes. I had no idea what I wanted it to look like, and ended up going with one similar to a sample they had, just with different flowers.
Day of, the cake looked stunning. It was exactly as I imagined, with the color matching the sample provided perfectly. And most importantly, it was so yummy. We went with 3 layers, so 3 flavors, and we ate a piece from each (because why not, we just got married!). Raspberry lemon poppyseed, orange blossom (think oragesicle), and Godiva white chocolate. The only disagreement was about which flavor tasted the best.
Cannot wait for our anniversary cake!!!

We LOVED our wedding cake - it was even more beautiful than I imagined it would be. We had so many compliments on the flavors (carrot cake and creme brulee especially!). It was such a fun process going to tastings and designing the cake with the folks from Das Meyer. You can really tell that they care about each couple and love what they do.

Our cake was AMAZING! Everyone complimented us on it and ate so much we hardly had any to bring home with us! They have free tastings on the weekends and you can go try their different flavors as many times as you want. They did everything we wanted for the decorations and it was perfect. They will even make us a little cake for our anniversary! So good....might need more....

Fantastic cake and basically did whatever design we wanted! The tasting was ideal and highly recommend doing that, but the outcome was so worth every bit of the excursion to Arvada. The staff is wonderful and you can see, and taste, why they are so popular!

Our cake and cupcakes were so beautiful and tasted absolutely amazing!! We did a small 2 tier cake to cut into and then cupcakes for our guests - we hardly had any left over at the end of the night (and we ordered extras!), people kept going back for more, they were that great! I grew up down the street from this bakery and have known them for a long time, you will not be disappointed, they are first class all the way!

As soon as we started wedding planning we repeatedly heard from friends and family about how good Das Meyer cake is. My fiancé is a cake lover but I never much seen the appeal of cake in general. While I definitely wanted to be traditional and have a wedding cake I didn't want to spend a ton to get the best of the best. I have been to a lot of weddings with the same old mediocre cake. We decided to go for a cake tasting at Das Meyer at everyone's urging and I am so glad we did. I was so pleasantly surprised. This was truly excellent cake AND it was totally affordable!! We ended up getting one of the specialty cakes with the crème brulee flavor filling. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. They helped us customize the cake decoration and the delivery was on time and stress free on the day of. Our guests both looked forward to the cake and were not disappointed after hearing we had selected Das Meyer. I highly recommend this wonderful bakery. Thank you for changing my mind about what cake can be!

I have visited Das Meyer over the past few years so when my husband and I were getting married, we knew where to go! First off, they are a fantastic family business. Everyone we speak to is super friendly and willing to help. We love everything they make so much that we chose not just a cake with three different flavors (because they are all so tasty) but also chose to serve several of their pastries (cheesecake, key lime, and pumpkin pie bars). Looking over all of their display cakes and books it was so hard to decide on a specific design so we just went over the colors we wanted and told them the designs we liked the most. They created the most elegant, delicious, and stunning wedding cake I have ever seen. My friends and family are still talking about our cake...9 months later! The fact that they don't freeze their cakes makes so much of a difference with taste, it was the most moist and scrumptious cake. My husband and I will be using them to celebrate every birthday and holiday forever!

My fiancé and I chose Das Meyer to do our wedding cake. They were recommended to us by one of our friends who also have used them in the past. From the moment I went in and did their free wedding cake taste testing I knew I would use them. Their cakes are beautiful and taste so good. We had a Colorado Avalanche hockey themed wedding and when we asked them if they would be able to accommodate that they didn’t hesitate for a second. The cake they made us was AMAZING. They went above and beyond and each guest we had made a comment about how awesome the cake looked and tasted. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the future. Thank you Das Meyer!!!!

I can't even begin to say how amazing both the cake and the people at Das Meyer are!
We were planning our wedding from out of state and one of the only times that we were going to be home was the Christmas before. Because it is their busy time of year, understandably, they do not do wedding tastings at that time. They talked to me over the phone and explained everything in detail, put our name in their book to hold our date, and then allowed me to set-up a tasting for the next time I would be home (which was at the end of June when our wedding was August 1st!) When June rolled around I called to double-check that we were still in the books and on track and not only was everything ok, they remembered exactly who I was from speaking in November!
Besides the amazing service the cake is SO delicious and SO affordable. They were half the price of other bakeries and tasted twice as good! I actually usually hate buttercream so was trying to go for a different frosting but they converted me because their buttercream is so good. During the tasting the chef explained that it's because they actually use butter in their buttercream instead of shortening like many other places-who knew? Also, for the tasting instead of tiny pieces where you can barely taste it like other places you get a whole slice!
Das Meyer made both our wedding cake and a surprise groom's cake for my husband. Both cakes looked great and we got compliments on how beautiful and tasty they were all night. I will definitely be buying our important cakes in the future from them and have recommended them to everyone I know!

I bought a surprise "grooms cake" for our reception for my fiance and Das Meyers delivered beyond anything I could imagine. I ordered 1 week prior (Friday for Friday) and paid (in state check or cash only) on Tuesday and had the cake picked up on Friday. It was seriously the highlight of the event. I asked for a Ghostbusters theme cake (FH's favorite movie ever) on a Tres Leches cake to serve 40 and it served closer to 70 and was astonishing. Could not have been happier!

We have gotten various cakes and pastries from Das Meyer ever since I was a child, so having them do my wedding cake was a no brainer! Especially since they also did my parent's wedding cake back in 1984! We had two cakes - a bride and groom's cake. Both were very non-traditional, but they made it look elegant and just how we imagined on our wedding day! The cake was gone in a matter of minutes, which was the only downside for us.

The cake was super moist, and the buttercream frosting is some of the best I have ever had. The cakes are very reasonably priced, and allowed us to afford the beautiful tiered cake I wanted! Definitely try them out--they have free tastings on Saturday mornings. You won't be disappointed!

We actually got our wedding pies from Das Meyer, oh my goodness they were delicious! My favorite was the Carmel Apple Tart and their pecan pie. My husband LOVED their Blueberry pie. They were so easy to work with and had wonderful customer service. They delivered and set all the pies up at our venue without hassle. They even made us special cobblers for our main wedding pie. 5/5, would recommend! We loved them!

I used Das Meyer for our wedding because I had tasted their cakes at a friend's wedding. When we went to book the cake, they made it very easy for us to taste all of the different flavors of the cake when they bake all of the different types on the weekend. They made it a point to sit down with us and discuss all of the options we had for cake and were very thorough with all of the details.
At the wedding, the cake looked BEAUTIFUL!!! I can't believe how perfect and pretty it looked! And it tasted wonderful too! All of my guests kept raving to me about how good the cake was! I would use them again in a heartbeat! Best of all? They bake you small cake for your first anniversary. :)

I'm not hugely into dessert but when I tried Das Meyer's cake for the first time I was blown away. It's moist and not over the top sweet... simply delicious. Das Meyer made our wedding cake for our December wedding. It was the most amazing cake I had ever seen and completely blew my expectations out of the water not to mention it tasted wonderful too. I would highly recommend this bakery for your wedding cake!

Even when I changed my mind for design a couple months before my wedding, they took it in stride and made the cake perfect! Everyone loved my cake! I love that they do free cake tastings on Saturday mornings-such a fun experience that you don't have to schedule ahead of time and I love that they make you a fresh cake on your anniversary so you don't have to worry about saving the top tier! I am not a flower person or cake decorator. I have seen pictures of cakes I really like, but truthfully when your sitting there you have no idea except the basic stuff. Our cake came out beautiful! We had a three tier with a fountain. Butter crème frosting with 3 different flavors. Strawberries n a cloud, white chocolate, and a triple chocolate. The cake was sweet but it was enough for a slice of our wedding cake. I would recommend going smaller than bigger. We had 81 people got a cake for 75 and we still took home about 25 slices! Our experience at Das Meyer was awesome, all the staff were great and could answer any questions we had! We had the cake delivered and set up which made it so much easier on us! Besides the free cake tastings every Saturday, Das Meyer Pastry Chalet delivered incredibly. I was incredibly happy with the product, especially since the description I provided involved a small picture on my phone and words. They strung together my thoughts and provided the most accurate and beautiful wedding cake I could ever asked for! And it was beyond delicious [Strawberries & Champagne on the bottom, Toll House Cookie Dough on the top level]!
I would use them for every event!

From tasting to delivery, Das Meyer was perfect. They designed an Aspen Log style cake for my daughter's country wedding, complete with sunflowers and lasso embellishments, not to mention the outstanding filling, that truly added a special element to reception and wedding as a whole. I would recommend them over and over (and have!).

We had so many people ask us about our cake and one couple who based their cake on ours. It was delicious and decorated so beautifully. We ordered a two tier cake, a grooms cake which they decorated so well and then several sheet cakes. It was so delicious we were eating it for several days after our wedding.

Our wedding cake from Das Meyer was absolutely delicious! Our guests at our wedding rave about how moist and tasteful it was! Das Meyer took everything I asked for and turned it into the wedding cake of my dreams! They give great directions as to what they need and when they will need it by. They do cake tastings on Saturdays and when we went, 16 different flavors later, we couldn't decide on one flavor so we got three since everything was so good! Hillary is wonderful and really helpful. They make you a fresh cake on your one year wedding anniversary and we can't wait for ours! We will definitely be using Das Meyer for other cakes in the near future!

Fantastic bakery! My cake was beautiful and delicious. They bake around 30 cakes every Sat for weddings and book quickly. I am grateful I was able to have one of their lovely cakes decorated with fresh flowers. They are able to create just about anything. Das Meyer bakers are professional and probably can outdo any other cake business in the area. I didn't have any snafoos with my cake, the delivery was on time, set up perfectly, and delicious.

I am so glad we went with Das Meyer. Their cake abilities can only be described as perfection, the design was perfect and everyone we dealt with there was extremely helpful. We went with a 3 tier cake, bottom and top tier were chocolate lovers with the middle was chai.

Every cake we tried during our wedding cake tasting was beyond amazing. It was difficult to pick just three flavors for our cake, they were all so wonderful!! Every person in the shop was pleasant and kind, despite the fact that they were extremely busy. We gave shorter than average notice but they were still able to accommodate our wedding date. We had even considered going the cupcake route, and they were more than happy to work with us on that had we decided to. The woman who helped us finalize our order was very thorough and made sure to go over every detail with us before placing the order. The owner even came over to say hello and congratulate us. On the day of, it was exactly what we asked for, it was gorgeous, and it was delicious. Our guests gave us so many compliments on it. I couldn't think more highly of Das Meyer!

Das Meyer made 9 different cakes for my wedding and they were delicious. My guests raved about how great they were and how unique each flavor was! Their prices are very reasonable, and the cakes looked gorgeous. I highly recommend Das Meyer to anyone in Denver looking for delicious, beautiful cakes at a great price. You wont be able to choose a flavor, which is why we went with 9 different cakes!!

Das Meyer was a great value and delicious cake and did a beautiful job of decorating. Our cake was about $500 (in 2014) for 125 people and I think it would have been less if I picked a simpler flavor. That's a good price for delicious cake. They also only charge $50 (in 2014) for delivery which is so worth it. Who else knows how to deliver tiered cake? Reserve your date early because they book up! You don't have to make any final decisions when you reserve. We reserved our months before we picked the size, shape, flavor and design.

We only had to try one place for cakes, and fell in love with the Crème Bruelee at Das Meyer. As this review is a couple months later, I am still hearing how wonderful the cake was, and where could they get it. The staff at Das Meyer was the easiest to work with. When you go to their shop and see the variety of selections you can have, you will know they are the best!

I worked with Das Meyer on several occasions in the past and knew that for my wedding I could count on their professionalism and high quality work. I ordered from Das Meyer a three tier strawberry champagne cake and could not be more pleased with the flavor and appearance of the cake. After ordering my cake a couple of months before the wedding, I was assured that the bakery would produce a high quality cake and deliver it on time the day of my wedding. I could not be more pleased with Das Meyer Bakery. They truly helped make my wedding a one of a kind experience.

I can't even describe how amazing our wedding cake turned out. Das Meyer created something from just a picture and the finished product was far better than I could have imagined. Our cake not only tasted amazing but was also the most talked about part of the reception. Das Meyer is the only way to go when it comes to wedding cakes or really any cake.

Das Meyer supplied the cake for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier! We went with 3 different flavors/fillings for our cake with a fairly intricate design and Das Meyer knocked it out of the park! My husband even said he thought the cake was his favorite part - and that's saying a lot!!
They were easy to work with and their convenient tastings every Saturday made it easy for us to try their multiple flavors and combinations of cake.
We would highly recommend Das Meyer for those looking for a wedding cake vendor, and even though we don't live in Denver, we're planning on using them for birthdays and other occasions.

We found Das Meyer through our venue's tasting event and we just fell in love! When I went to the bakery, they had remembered me from the tasting and were so helpful! They sat with us and took the time to go over all the options and price them out. I was a back a couple times to put the official order in for the cake and then drop off the topper and some fake flowers, and they were always so kind and helpful! We didn't see the cake until we entered the reception but we were so excited and wow'd!! they did exactly what we wanted and they made it look so grand! (it was only a three tier cake and it looked amazing!) Our guests loved it so much as well! There wasn't ANY left for us to take home! Needless to say we can't wait for our one year anniversary!

Das Meyer is the place to go in the Denver area for Wedding Cakes. They are consistently voted Best Cakes in Denver for a reason. High altitude baking is no easy task and this place nails it every time. Their cakes are moist, flavorful, and delicious every time. Go to one of their tastings on a weekend and try their cakes! They have a lot of different flavors, and all are tasty as can be! I got a three tiered wedding cake with 3 flavors: chocolate raspberry truffle, strawberry champagne, and cherry chantilly. The buttercream on my cake was smooth and beautiful, and the icing embellishments were stunning in color and style! My guests loved the cake. The customer service at Das Meyer is thorough and personal. They took time to understand my vision for my Wedding Cake. This place has it down to an art. Note that this business closes in the winter, during the wedding off-season

AMAZING cake, great pricing, and on time delivery. If that was all they provided that alone would be more than enough. The personal service from this place though is amazing! Of the 5 places that I visited they made me feel the most welcome and gave me honest pricing from the beginning, no BS! They have such an amazing array of cakes to taste on their Saturday tastings and did not question the minimum of 7 times I came to taste cake (I had it figured out by tasting #2 lol). Any special occasions I have from here on out I will be purchasing the cake from here.
