As a DJ and an MC throughout our wedding, Darryl did a fantastic job of informing and entertaining our families and guests. In the planning process, he was very communicative and helpful. DJ Darryl was phenomenal! He brought two cultures together and kept everyone on their feet. (Even when my feet were begging for me to sit). He was professional, answered any and all questions I had! He is truly the total package, from the music, to dancing on the cloud effects, selfie station, lighting. It was all perfect and he truly made my night special! -

Where do we even begin with Darryl?? He brought THE ULTIMATE WEDDING EXPERIENCE to our big day! During our initial consultation, we told him how important it was for us to bring our Colombian and Caribbean cultures together. Not only did he create the perfect blend through music, he created magic and brought our families and friends together for an unforgettable night. The energy that Darryl brought to our wedding and the dance floor was one of a kind. He had everyone jumping, celebrating and waving napkins in the air… our guests are still talking about him a week later!! Darryl gives exactly what he says he gives... "the perfect mix of DJ entertainment". Darryl is a professional wedding DJ who is organized, a communicator who listens to his couple's desires, and educates you on his process. It was very important to pick a DJ or any vendor who truly enjoys what they do but can also take you along the process so you know you are investing in a quality service that is uniquely packaged for you. We told him top layer what we wanted and he worked his magic! We received a ton of positive feedback on him from our guests and vendors. He was able to keep the transitions and vibes of the wedding seamlessly moving. His flow made my wedding feel like a movie that you didn't want to end. All to say is.... book Darryl NOW! He will keep the party going all night long. Your guests WILL have a blast with him. Man what can we actually say; Darryl is and was amazing!!!!!! He kept the crowd going and was perfect. He isn't only a great DJ but we developed a new bond and friend with someone we met just for wedding purposes. I was basically in charge of one thing for our wedding and that was finding a DJ. Darryl J. Did my buddy Jeff’s and once I started asking around, it was a no brainer. Quick communication with him as soon as we reached out. Always responded to the million questions Aimee & I had. The vibe and energy he brought was unbelievable. He was our hype man & made my Bride & I feel really special throughout the night. There’s a reason every review he has is a 5 star. If your search for a great wedding DJ lead you to this page... congrats, you have found your top choice!! My husband and I needed to have a LIT DJ to keep our crowd engaged. From the first time (and really every time) I emailed him, he was very swift with his reply. This trait alone is a big one for me when selecting wedding vendors. To me, being accessible shows that the vendor is present and will treat each wedding with special care. He is so organized and sent a detailed timeline for us to fill out. He called for all clarifications and made sure everyone's name was pronounced correctly. Both my husband and I are from Miami, and certain songs needed to be played, he did that and MORE. He even accommodated my husband with his requests to make our wedding more personal. The dance floor was never empty even when my husband was out of the room, taking pictures during the reception. If you are looking for a DJ and an MC to effectively communicate and keep your reception alive, YOU HAVE FOUND HIM. We were lucky to book him when we could, he books fast so do not hesitate any longer!! I got so many compliments from wedding guests! They did not want to leave!! All videos from that night were straight proof that everyone had a GREAT time. -

I first met Darryl at a wedding expo last year and I already had good vibes from him. We decided to hire him because not only did he seem like he would be a great DJ that brought a lot of energy to the table, but he also offered great services for less than what other DJs were charging. He also provided us with uplights, our name monogram on the wall, dance floor lights, and lights by the cake. He did a great job announcing everyone and a lot of guests told us they loved his playlist! They were definitely dancing for the majority of the night. Also, what I loved about Darryl is how responsive he was. Whenever I emailed him, he would call me back almost right away sometimes. I’m sure he’s working with a lot of couples, but he made us feel like we’re the only one. That means a lot and I’m sure it’s not easy to do. I definitely recommend hiring Darryl as your DJ! -

He was referred to me by a friend and I would recommend him as well. He is friendly and professional. We received the photos in a timely manner and love the pictures. Darryl does more than just photography now as well. Highly recommended!

Our guests still talk about how much fun they had. All because of Darryl, he kept the party going. He was more than the DJ, he was our hype man. He was extremely easy to work with. He offered everything we wanted; photo booth, smoke machine, up lighting, etc. I’m very particular and he executed everything well. He made a few announcements and everyone complied. I would use Darryl anytime and recommend him to anyone. -

I was very happy in my decision to go with GQInvites Photography. I could not have picked a better photographer and I am very happy with my decision! Leemary Sent on 03/11/2015Amazing! Darryl surpassed my expectations of our wedding collection. Hands down made our big day look twice as beautiful as it already was. He captured every detail and made sure we didn't miss a thing. His schedule of the day makes you realize that he has taken everything into consideration. We would have never taken a photo in our photobooth if he didn't pull us to the side and make us go. I know I would've been so upset if I didn't get a photobooth picture so I am very grateful for that.
You are so caught up in the day there are a lot of things you don't realize that you would like and I know I didn't take advantage of that. Darryl encourages you to send him ideas and I must say how important that it is! I was able to take a family portrait with my parents and siblings and we haven't done that since I was 7. My only regret is not taking advantage and getting more pictures with family and even one with my brother. I don't blame Darryl one bit because he did an amazing job just helping us get through the day. So much goes on you forget other things that you didn't think of before.
Overall, I am very pleased with the pictures I received and complete service. It's definitely a must to purchase his photobooth as well. Our families are still in awe with how beautiful every picture turned out. I am already making plans of getting my prints and some decorations to show his amazing work.
Darryl I truly would like to thank you and your assistant Jenny for being part of the best day of our lives. We couldn't have done a better investment than choosing you as not only our photographer but as our friend. Thank you! -

I wish my experience was as great as everyone else’s. However, it was not. DJ Darryl gave us a song list request form, obviously I did not expect for him to play everything on the list. But, for dinner none of my song choices were played. The type of music that was played during dinner was embarrassing! Guest came up to me complaining. One specific song was “Ring the Alarm” by Beyoncé!? Another big issue was for our introduction as husband and wife, Dj Darryl was supposed to play two songs. He did not follow the instructions on playing the first 32 seconds of one song before playing our main entrance song. Not to mention he didn’t even play the main song for 1 full minute. He rushed right into the first dance. He also forgot to do the toasts. I just feel that for the price we paid, we should have been satisfied. And I was far from satisfied.
