Wedding Photographer Extraordinaire
Darryl was a true professional from the first time we met him at a wedding show. We were attracted to him by his past work and his attention to details. During the year prior to our wedding, Darryl offered us non stop advice to prepare us for our special day. He even met us at our venue to review the property for the best photography possible. Darryl took some unbelievable photos at our wedding that will help us to remember our special day. Even after the wedding, Darryl has been there with constant communication with creating our album, thank you cards and large print creations. We cannot thank Darryl Barnett Photography enough and highly recommend him for your wedding Photography or any other special event in your life that demands and deserves the best photographic memories. -

Amazing Photographer!
We are so happy we chose Darryl as our photographer for our wedding! He is amazing with communication and planning from the moment you meet him till even after the special event! He set up a terrific timeline for our wedding and made the whole day so stress free. He was always willing to take calls or zooms to discuss anything. He made the whole experience so wonderful & our images came out amazing. Our family & friends couldn’t get enough of him during our wedding. They loved him and his work. He is very professional and easy going. -

Darryl first blew us away with his beautiful work at a bridal show we attended. We were also amazed by his high-quality wedding albums! We knew right away that we wanted him as our photographer. Darryl was an amazing photographer to work with! As my first time planning a wedding, I was clueless about a lot of things. One thing we knew for sure is we wanted our wedding day to be stress-free and to be beautifully captured. With Darryl’s years of expertise, including his undoubtful passion for his work, we were able to achieve both and more! He dedicated his time beforehand to get to know us as a couple, to understand our ideas, and give his expertly advice. His recommendations are subpar and are tailored to ensure a stress-free day as possible, which he makes his goal! He did this by also discussing and creating a timeline for our wedding day, so we knew exactly what was going on throughout the day. I cannot stress how important this was for us! His recommendation to do a first look (which we were apprehensive at first), helped us get a lot of our photos done ahead of time which allowed time for me and my husband to spend alone together after our ceremony. Most married couples will tell you, it’s almost impossible to have alone time on your wedding day! He’s not your typical photographer that charges by the hour, he dedicated his whole day to capture our event from the start of the day until the end of the night. With everything that Darryl has to offer, he’s very reasonably priced. Our pictures came out amazing! And we also purchased a few of his high-quality wedding albums that tell the story of our whole day. If you’re looking for high-quality passionate work and peace of mind on your wedding day, then Darryl is the right photographer for you! He will walk you through every step and we highly recommend him to everyone! -

Wow! Darryl was FANTASTIC to work with. He showed professionalism from day one and was always willing to listen to my concerns. He had the best ideas for poses/locations for our wedding day. He was gentle and he made us laugh often. I felt like he was a friend! Everyone kept talking about how he was constantly taking photos of everyone. They loved that! Darryl is the best! He photographed our engagement session in 2019, our backyard wedding in 2020, and our postponed big wedding in 2021. Our photos came out incredible and we love how natural and true-to-life they look. I wanted timeless photos and a photographer who could capture the colors of the beautiful, vibrant outdoor grounds at our venue and Darryl did just that! We loved how Darryl didn’t have an hourly time limit, which helped make the day stress-free. Darryl is such a good communicator and always got back to us in a timely manner. He is so friendly and truly cares about making you happy. Darryl captured the joy of our wedding day and we are so grateful! -

Simply the best
My husband and I can't recommend Darryl enough! Not only did he shoot our engagement photos and our wedding last week, but when we decided to do a micro wedding ceremony last summer due to Covid while we waited for our big reception, he offered us a small package option for that day so we wouldn't miss a thing in photos. He makes you feel so comfortable and breaks the awkwardness that some people have in front of a camera. Having done so many weddings, he's an expert when it comes to timelines. He helped me so much when timing everything for our big day to make sure we weren't rushed and would get all the photos we wanted. He also worked seamlessly with our videographer so that they could both do their jobs in the best way possible. Best of all, unlike most other wedding photographers you'll come across, his packages aren't by the hour. When you book with him, you get him for the whole day so you don't feel like you're trying to squeeze in all your pics before he rushes out the door. If you want to love your photos and get the added bonus of someone who will make your day less stressful, book with Darryl!! -

Wonderful and enjoyable
Darryl is an amazing photographer. My husband and I would recommend him 100%. He takes the time to meet with you prior to your big day to get to know you and for you to get to know him. Darryl is very professional and personable and you will not regret hiring him as your wedding photographer. Our final photos were incredible! -

Listen to me people, if you aren't necessarily the most photogenic person or don't feel comfortable having pictures taken of yourself Darryl is your guy. He makes such an awkward experience SO MUCH FUN. Not only is Darryl fun but he takes the most beautiful pictures and is really able to capture the love between two people. My wedding day went so smoothly and stress-free because of his advisment and experience. He really does care about his clients experience and that is shown through every interaction with him. 12/10 recommend. -

Nathan Sent on 09/21/2018We are elated with our choice of photographer! Everyone who sees our wedding pictures rave about there quality. Darryl is extremely professional, experienced, and patient. Darryl took extra time to sit down with us and go over the minute details of our wedding day. He brought up solutions to issues and possible problems we could not have foreseen. Its amazing what 30 plus years of experience and insight can do for helping to plan your wedding day. We wanted to skip the the engagement session that came with our package due to time restrictions and distance. Darryl was against this. He wanted to be able to spend time getting to know us and make sure we were comfortable with him as well as his shooting style. I'm glad we listened. He basically taught us how to be models! It was phenomenal. Without Darryl we would have been lost. He was able to help plan out our day from start to finish. Creating a timeline that would allow us to maximize time and the funds we were spending. When you get married, being on time is imperative. Thank God that time management is a strength for Darryl. His patience was always on display. Organizing all 14 members of our bridal party, managing the stress of our guests who tended to be a distraction, all while still producing an exquisite final product. Furthermore, Darryl was on the list of preferred vendors at our wedding venue. This meant that he was familiar with the space and all photo opportunities associated with the venue. He was also totally in-sink with our Matre'D. Darryl also took time to plan and coordinate with our cinematographers. The result was classy and timeless photo's and video where our vendors weren't constantly in the shots. Lastly, through the whole process Darryl was more like family then a vendor. I'm sure he takes his time with all his clients. However, we felt special nonetheless. If you are considering Darryl for your wedding. LOOK NO FURTHER! BOOK HIM TODAY! Thanks again for everything Darryl.

Darryl put my husband st ease and helped him feel extremely comfortable during our engagement shoot and wedding. My husband is NOT into having his picture taken but Darryl really made it enjoyable and was extremely personable so my husband actually liked the entire process. Darryl made us feel so comfortable that we told our best friends about him and how he helped my husband and worked with us, they booked him too! If I could redo the day, Darryl would still be our photographer, he is one thing we wouldn’t have changed! -

Great pictures. Super nice person and very interested in making sure you like his final product. Make sure you review the pictures on his website and be very clear if you would rather have other photos - for example I didn't wear a traditional wedding dress, I didn't want pictures of the dress but more pictures of people. We didn't get too much of the reception (prior to the ceremony) because of pictures of shoes which we didn't really want. Would be great if we could have given a list of what we wanted taken. We walked through the venue which has an atrium and he talked about pictures during the Welcome Reception down onto the atrium - these never took place. The pictures are great quality, but as an adult wedding with multiple families involved, left us with having to make sure we caught shots on that day. We didn't get any pictures of the food displays which I was hoping we would have. Again, quality was great, just be sure to insist on giving a list of pictures that are important to you - and not have to think about that on the day of the event. Or assign a friend to work directly with him to ensure you get all the pictures you'd like.
