  Better the Second Time Around

  For our 10th Wedding Anniversary, I wanted to do something very special. Our wedding was a grand affair, over 200 people, all of the pomp and circumstance of a huge wedding and though beautiful and we loved it, lacked intimacy. To mark our milestone anniversary, I wanted to surprise my husband and most importantly, I wanted to include our children. Terry worked with me every step of the way. He knew just the right questions to ask to make our ceremony and vows special. Because it was a surprise for Steve, Terry wrote his vows and through the thoughtful questioning it sounded as if Steve wrote the vows himself. Terry also knew exactly what reading to give my little guy that would make him feel like a special participant. It was brilliant, and moving and he was so proud. He was amazing with my little diva, patient and light hearted. This ceremony was simply everything I could have ever wanted. It was just the five of us, in our yard, renewing our vows on our own terms for us and no one else. Terry knew how important this moment was for us. He helped create a moment in time that was magical for us, but that helped showed the strong bonds of love for our children and for that alone we will be eternally grateful! Simply stellar service and commitment to love.

  Great wedding officiant

  Terry was a pleasure to work with on our wedding. He made a suggestion in our initial consultation that we didn't know existed and we ended up going with it for our wedding. The ceremony that he put together for us was great and we were able to customize anything up until the day of the wedding.

  Excellent. Reliable and Trustworthy

  Terry was the perfect officiant. We got married at the Madison Hotel, which is a familiar place for Terry. He met with us beforehand and spoke with me several times on the phone. He isn’t phony or trying to get your money. He is a family man and just a nice guy who is affordable and wants to make your day special. Highly recommend him!

  We recently got married at the Madison Hotel this past December. We met Terry at the Bridal Brunch at the Madison Hotel. We quickly connected with Terry and knew he was the perfect person to lead our ceremony. Terry's sincere and sweet disposition helped ease any anxieties we had about our wedding day. He tailored the ceremony so that it truly reflected us as a couple. After the wedding, we received countless compliments on how beautiful and smooth our ceremony was.   Terry did a great job officiating our wedding. He really took the time to get to know us and helped us create a ceremony that was personalized and special for us. Prior to the ceremony my husband and his groomsmen had pleasant conversations with him. Terry even helped us out by printing out my husband's vows onto note cards on the day of our wedding. Thanks for everything Terry!

  A Delight to work with

  Terry was such a delight to work with. He handled everything needed for the ceremony and made sure to explain everything to us. He wrote a great service and kept it short and sweet as asked by us. He made sure to go over step by step how to ceremony would go and made sure everyone stayed on point. Me and my wife couldn't have asked for a better person to have as an officiant and we were so happy to have found him.

  WOW Terry Darling is Exceptional!!!

  I don’t even know where to start in praising Terry Darling as our officiant. He takes such care in what he does and it really shows. We had people approach us after the ceremony to ask who our officiant was and tell us he was so extremely nice and talented. He is warm, kind, and an overall good guy. You can tell that immediately about him. He is also efficient and takes care of business! We didn’t have a mic and speaker set up, and he took care of all of that for us without any stress. He took the time to get to know us by meeting with us in person, and he showed up at least 1 hour early to introduce himself to the wedding party and prepare everything. You do not have to worry about your ceremony AT ALL when you work with Terry! He will ensure everything is ready to go. He delivered the PERFECT ceremony for us. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. My husband is picky and has high standards and I’ve never heard him praise someone over and over for the job they did. I am soooo happy that we found Terry Darling!!! Rarely do I hear anyone speak about their officiant when talking about their wedding, but you and your guests will when you work with Terry!

  Terry officiated our wedding at F.E.A.S.T. at Round Hill on August 23rd. He was absolutely amazing to work with on the day of our wedding and throughout the entire journey. He took the time to get to know us and customized our ceremony to exactly what we were looking for. He sent us the entire ceremony in advance for our approval and helped us plan every detail from start to finish. I was especially nervous about writing our own vows but he sent us examples of vows others have written and helped us to work in humor and personal touches. By the time we read them in front of our friends and family we were fully confident and comfortable with them. He was our own personal cheerleader throughout the wedding planning process.
  
  Well in advance, Terry described how the rehearsal would go, when he would arrive on the day of our wedding and everything he would do that day of to ensure things went smoothly. We could not have imagined a more perfect ceremony that felt any more like us and that was all thanks to Terry. Our friends and family still rave about it. He even submitted our marriage license for us, so we could go on our honeymoon worry-free.
  
  I highly recommend choosing Terry. It will be the easiest decision you make in the wedding planning process and you will be so happy you did. We couldn’t have asked for a more helpful and thoughtful officiant.

  My Husband and I cannot speak highly enough of Terry. He was amazing with us right from the start. He met with us, and took the time to get to know us in order to provide the best service for our wedding day. We decided to write our own vows, and I was very nervous about the idea. Terry sent me some examples, and he also read through the vows I had written myself. With his feedback, I felt so much more comfortable when reading them the day of. He really made our ceremony our own, and I couldn't imagine anyone else being up there with my husband and me. We highly recommend Darling Ceremony for your wedding!

  From our first meeting to the end of our time together at our ceremony, Terry was a blessing. His kind, gentle, can-do demeanor put us at ease right away. He listened to our ideas and requests, and he expertly guided us through our options. As a same-sex couple, we had some fears while looking for an officiant. Terry never once made us feel different. He saw us only as two people in love, regardless of gender, and we are very grateful for that. On several occasions, he went above and beyond what we expected of an officiant. The result of working with Terry was a warm, expressive wedding ceremony that exceeded our expectations. Don’t underestimate the power a fantastic officiant can bring to your wedding. This is the person who is performing your ceremony, making this moment official forever. We are very happy to have had Terry with us during that moment in our lives and will always be grateful for everything he did to make our day perfect.

  Terry worked with me and my now-husband to create a wonderful ceremony for us. He gave us an outline leading up to the big day, then worked with us to make everything was absolutely perfect. I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

  I am a Wedding Coordinator/Planner and couldn't have asked for a better officiant for my clients. Terry from Darling Ceremony is so easy to get a long with, easy to talk to, easy to work with. He was flexible and went with the flow. When the venue's mic battery died, he was able to still engage the crowd and have the ceremony be heard. Terry is such a kind person, he makes you feel heard. And he does a great job making the ceremony special, funny and quick, but not rushed. I will definitely be referring Terry to my future couples.
