Frankie was one of our favorite vendors from our wedding day. From the very beginning, she was incredibly flexible and accommodating, even meeting me halfway between where we live for my makeup trial. She listened carefully to what I envisioned and happily made adjustments until we landed on a look that felt completely like me. On the wedding day, my makeup was exactly what I had hoped for: natural, beautiful, and it lasted all day and night.
What really made Frankie stand out, though, was her presence. She has such a calming, positive energy that instantly puts you at ease, which is exactly the kind of person you want around while getting ready for one of the biggest days of your life.
We also hired Frankie to stay through cocktail hour and the reception to tattoo our guests, and it ended up being one of the biggest highlights of the evening. Our guests absolutely loved it, and it gave everyone such a fun, memorable experience that they’ll be talking about for years. She handled everything professionally while still making it feel personal and exciting. And now we love sing those tattoos on our friends IRL, months later.
Her pricing was incredibly fair for everything she provided, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re considering Frankie for bridal makeup, event tattoos, or both, I can’t recommend her enough. She is talented, kind, professional, and an absolute joy to have as part of your wedding day.

Stunning work!!
I had my makeup done for a wedding where I was the maid of honor, and I couldn’t have been happier with the results! Frankie was professional, friendly, and really listened to what I wanted. My makeup looked beautiful, lasted all day and night, and photographed perfectly. I received so many compliments. I highly recommend Frankie to anyone looking for a talented makeup artist! -

Excellent makeup artist
I had a boudoir shoot and she was my makeup artist. I had never met her before but boy am I glad I did because I found my new bridal makeup artist for my wedding in September! She’s nice, & funny, and considerate of how I imagine for the look to turn out like. I loved Frankie so much I scheduled her to do my sisters makeup for a surprise on her birthday on the day of my bridal makeup trial. Frankie is the real deal so look no further 😊 -

Excellent experience. Frankie made everything so easy, she showed up at the location we were getting hair done. Makeup turned out so fantastic, just what I wanted and lasted all night! Also, price was great and affordable. -

I regret to share my negative experience with Frankie Metzger, the owner of Dark Barbie Beauty Parlour in Richland, WA. We hired her to be our pop-up tattoo artist for our wedding, and the experience has been nothing short of frustrating.
On the day of our wedding, Frankie’s car broke down on the way to the venue. While I understand that mechanical issues can happen, it’s hard to accept that this was out of her control, especially since it directly impacted our special day.
To make matters worse, Frankie has refused to refund us any part of the $1,400 we paid, citing the contract’s “all sales are final and nonrefundable” clause. While I understand the importance of contracts, I believe that circumstances like hers should warrant some consideration for a refund, especially since she did not fulfill her part of the agreement.
In the end, we paid for a service that was never delivered, and it has been incredibly disappointing to see how this situation has been handled. I would caution anyone considering her services to think twice and ensure they have a solid backup plan.
