I had never been married before and never gone through the details of planning a wedding. Dan was there every step of the way encouraging very informative and very flexible. When it came to the end of the night, I had family from out of state and they wanted one more song Dan was happy to oblige. Dan did all the announcements at the wedding and really just gave a Hometown vibe throughout the entire night. The morning before my wedding I forgot the video camera I didn’t want to pay thousands of dollars to have the ceremonial professionally recorded so I was just gonna have a nephew do it well I forgot the camera reached out to Dan and he was able to come up with something to create a video of the wedding and it came out. Absolutely amazing. I will be forever grateful! If I ever have a big event again, where I need a DJ Dan will be the one.

Danny was amazing throughout the whole process. He was organized online ahead of time and allowed us to provide songs we definitely wanted played or not. We met about 2 weeks out from the wedding and Dan helped us organize our timeline and make sure all of the details were narrowed down. Day of he provided speakers/microphones for both the ceremony and reception and kept the day doing based on our timeline. He played great music and even had a “one more song” chant at the end of the night. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ to help make our day perfect! Thanks Dan!

Great find for a tighter DJ budget
Very easy to work with and to fit into our budget, he was able to incorporate a few unique things into our wedding for us that I am eternally grateful for, like audio of a poem in our ceremony and portuguese music during the reception.
Our guests danced all night and were still pumped up and energetic for the last couple songs, which I loved. Thanks for helping to create a fun atmosphere, Danny!

Cannot speak words of the professionalism and flexibility Danny has! He truly enjoys putting out a great service and what we got was fantastic from day one working with him! The event planner was very useful for picking exactly what songs we want to be played for entrances and dances. He also was incredibly helpful in suggestions to make the wedding transition smoothly. His flexibility and communication certainly made the day of the wedding a breeze for us. He arrived early to set up at the reception venue and traveled to the ceremony site that was 45 minutes away, all on the Forth of July! He was constantly letting us know what changes were happening and what was coming next as well. Music was fantastic and did a wonderful job entertaining our guests. Would highly recommend!!!

We reached out to Dan about 10 months before our wedding (our wedding Day was October 7, 2023), right from the start Dan was absolutely fantastic to work with. Super attentive, super response and very reassuring. Dan knows his stuff and cares deeply to make sure that your day goes off without a hitch. In between first reaching out and our wedding day, Dan would periodically check in to see if there were any questions we had or needed anything extra from him which we were super grateful for. Dan did an absolutely incredible job at the wedding, he did a fantastic job MCing the event and keeping the guests out on the dance floor. Danny is professional, communicative, and great to work with. He was accommodating to our guests requests, even when our location made it difficult with no internet access. We had him provide music for our ceremony and reception, and he executed all of my specific requests with accurate timing for all events (walking down the aisle, recessional, cake cutting, entrances, first dances, etc.). He was also able to travel to our venue the day before for the rehearsal and run through all the musical cues which made us feel much more confident about the flow of the day. We had an island wedding off the coast of Portland and he was able to get all of his gear out there, so if you are looking for a wedding DJ (especially for an island wedding) do not hesitate to book with him!

They even got out on the dance floor during the song cotton eyed joe and busted a move it was such fun and free flowing! Dan was DJ at our wedding at a country club with around 85 people. He provided music for the reception and ceremony and he did an absolutely fantastic job. The sound was great and his playlist was on point. People were dancing all night, which made the night super fun. Dan and David also do a dance off which was great! Dan is very accommodating and always willing to help in whatever way he can. No one could be more caring. He really is the best!

He was very communicative during the planning leading up to the event during; he touched base with us throughout the night about timing, etc. to make sure everything ran smoothly. Our officiant + speakers were also able to use the mics he brought so everyone could hear them during the ceremony + reception, which was invaluable! Excellent DJ, Went the Extra Mile!
Danny was an excellent DJ who went the extra mile at every step of the process to made sure that the ceremony and reception was exactly how we wanted it! From spending an hour on his one free Saturday this season before the wedding going over the detailed timeline with us to moving speakers during the actual reception to make sure that the crew enjoying the view outside could still hear the music, Danny was an extremely responsive, flexible and collaborative DJ.
He was extremely open to taking very specific requests from us, from the introductions, toasts, and special dances, and followed through on all of them exactly as asked. He was also super helpful throughout the wedding day beyond just providing the music, making sure to be set up early and available to help our ceremony musician and videographer with all the the mics and audio hookups that they needed. He also clearly has tons of experience keeping the dancing going and knew which songs from our suggested list would get our friends and family out on the floor. The dance floor lights were also a great touch that we hadn't even thought to ask about!
Overall, working with Danny was a real pleasure and I can highly recommend him as a professional and personable DJ for your Maine wedding!

Danny accommodated music for my style! We are a biracial couple and I wanted pop as well as Spanish music played. He was so kind in playing a perfect balance all night long ! We also got to play some games ! Which he orchestrated beautifully with my host. It was such an amazing night ! He was the center of party. He Kept everyone on schedule and transitioned beautifully into every activity. I was really impressed with dinner especially, because we did a buffet style dinner. I thought it would get chaotic or cluttered. But he was so awesome ! He called the tables up by number. Everything was so organized ! I was a very happy bride

Wedding Reception was Great!
The reception was something I was a but worried about. I wanted everything to go well for the reception as I was having issues with the venue place itself, but Dan was amazing. We weren't expecting much as my husband and I did not really want much, but Dan went above and beyond. For the Mother and Son dance, we wanted a specfic version of a song and even though there was some difficulty with the song itself, Dan was able to do just what we wanted.
Dan was very professional and well priced for our budget. He also was very acccomodating with regards to the few wishes we had. My father who is in a power wheelchair, didn't originally want to do a father daughter dance as he doesn't like people watching him. Dan was able to accomodate and make the song shorter in order to ease my dad's fears which made the moment even more special. He took pictures as well for us! I cannot thank Dan enough for all that he did to make my day one to remember!

Wonderful & flexible wedding DJ!
Dan was a wonderful for our wedding this summer! He did a great job of providing sound for our ceremony way out in a field & worked so well with our acoustic guitar player during it. He was a fantastic DJ for the reception, we were able to choose all of the songs ahead of time and Dan knew when to play what to keep everyone out on the dance floor all night! We had a less traditional wedding, and Dan was very flexible and accommodating with us to make sure the day felt true to our vision. Dan was extremely fast and clear in his communication leading up to the wedding, affordable, and very positive. Highly recommend!!

Amazing service !
Dan was such an important part of the planning and organizing of our wedding! We had absolutely no idea where to start, but we were able to pick out all of our songs online which was super quick and convenient and made the whole process a lot less-overwhelming! Dan was able to offer us advice on song choices and we chose to have him pick some of our songs as we just couldn't seem to come up with one that fit for certain parts of the ceremony. Dan was extremely patient with us throughout the whole process despite how indecisive we were. Dan's experience, professionalism and extensive knowledge as a DJ made our special day come together seamlessly. He arrived early, was professional, prepared and literally saved the day and came to my rescue with safety pins when the strap to my wedding dress broke 🤭🤣 I absolutely would recommend him to anyone getting married and in need of an experienced DJ who will greatly contribute to the quality of your special day !

Five stars! Awesome experience!
My husband and I celebrated our wedding a few weeks ago. Danny was a fantastic DJ. He played great music that kept people dancing the whole evening, and listened to our song requests. He was very professional, and was flexible with the planned schedule as the night evolved. Many of our guests told us after the reception that they loved the music and dancing, and we are grateful to Danny for managing that so well!
Danny also went above and beyond to make the day extra special for us. My sister/maid of honor was unable to attend our wedding due to the unexpected early birth of her daughter. Danny (unbeknownst to me) coordinated with my sister so that a recorded version of her maid of honor speech could be played during our reception. Many of our guests said that hearing my sister's speech, despite her being unable to attend, was a really special moment. It meant so much to me and was such a wonderful surprise. I don't think there was a dry eye in the house! Danny also put her speech on a CD so that I could keep and listen to it again in the future. We are so grateful for the work and care Danny put into our reception to make it extra special. We would recommend Danny without hesitation to anyone planning their wedding!

DJ Danny did an incredible job at our wedding. From our first conversation to the last of the night, Dan was extremely attentive and professional. We had a really nice wedding with DJ Danny’s service. The mics were having technical issues and he immediately had another one on hand. Helped with making sure songs were playing and stayed an additional hour for the reception. Only thing we have to say is if you are admit about not playing a specific song for us it was “ cotton eye joe” make sure he knows with your services that any song no matter the case is to not be played ! We will recommend his services to everyone ! Great job

Slightly Let Down
First off I want to say and stress Dan was very nice from first contact and flexible working with our schedule. We exchanged a few emails and spoke on the phone the short time we had leading up to the wedding to discuss details as Dan was called in by another company to cover our wedding due to a late scheduling conflict with our previous DJ. Everything went well from my perspective (groom) from pre-ceremony through post dinner speeches and into the first dance.
Once we got into the reception and full dance mode however, there seemed to be a disconnect. We had filled in his DJ portal as requested with songs we wanted to hear and notes for just a couple of them. We first noticed the song we requested after our first dance was missed, but he played another OK dance kickoff type song. He played the special request for my parents anniversary so I asked him to just play the other song we wanted after that slow one which worked out. From there, we heard a few of the songs we had added on his portal, but felt like there was more DJ picks that weren't in line with what we wanted to hear to keep the energy up and people dancing. The couple times I went up to talk to him he seemed a little disjointed with the print out of songs/notes from his portal. There was a 15 song limit on the 'Do Not Play' list, but I was hoping he would be able to tell from what was added that we didn't want any overplayed songs. He did start playing Journey's Don't Stop Believin' which I asked him to skip (and he did).
The thing that irked us most was that he came down to talk directly to the bride (in front of her friends and guests) after already starting the last song, which didn't have everyone dancing, and told her that this had to be the last song because he had to wake up early the next day. Speaking with my now wife she said it was embarrassing and felt rude the way in which it was done. Needless to say that seemed unprofessional and disappointing to us both.
That being said, I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt and I've been wondering if something happened that I wasn't aware of that might have negatively impacted Dan's engagement for our event. It really felt like we didn't get his best, especially seeing all the other positive feedback for him. I have reached out directly and will update this review pending any info we hear back.
