Best Wedding Band Ever

Danny Ray and The Atlantic Street Band- I truly believe is the GREATEST wedding band of all time!!! We were lucky enough to have them at our wedding this past winter and they blew everyone away. They were a highlight of the night, getting everyone up and dancing. Their ability to engage with the crowd by coming out onto the dance floor added an incredibly special and lively touch. 3 months later, guests are still talking about Danny and his band and how it was the best band they've ever seen at a wedding. On top of being incredible musicians, Danny and the entire band were such a joy to work with. We can't recommend them enough and if you are planning your wedding-BOOK THEM!!!

Wow incredible

I couldn't have asked for a better band for our wedding. Multiple people reached out that evening and throughout the next few days asking for their information....and wanting to know when they could go see them again! They made the night personalized and special. Not only was the music great, but they kept everyone on the dancefloor the ENTIRE NIGHT. BEST BAND EVER!

The Absolute Best Band

If you’re looking for the absolute best wedding band in Houston, stop your search now… Danny Ray and the Atlantic Street Band are it. They played at my daughter’s wedding and completely knocked it out of the park. Their energy was incredible and their interaction with our guests was next-level. They weren’t just performing. They were part of the party. At one point they were out on the dance floor right alongside everyone, and our guests could not get enough. From our very first call to post-wedding follow-ups, they were so easy to work with. Professional, organized, and genuinely kind. They even learned a new song for the bride and groom’s private last dance, which made that moment unforgettable. Their saxophone player was amazing during cocktail hour, they provided flawless sound for the ceremony, and they handled the full stage setup. Truly seamless from start to finish. As for the reception… WOW. Their sound was fabulous, their song choices were spot on, and you could tell they were truly happy to be there and give it their all. If you want a packed dance floor, a nonstop celebration, and a band your guests will rave about for months, this is the band. Absolutely five stars.

Best time ever!!!!!!

My husband and I are SO glad we went with Danny Ray & The Atlantic Street Band. Not only did they have everyone on the dance floor the entire night, they also sang out first dance and made the entire process super smooth. 1000% recommend them.

Danny Ray and his band were AMAZING!! Best money spent!

Danny Ray and his band were AMAZING! We were looking for high energy band that would keep dance floor crowded ALL NIGHT! Danny Ray and his band did not disappoint! We had the BEST TIME! Danny even did a special surprise song for my daughter and I to dance to…a family favorite, Bar Tipsy. Then all of our family joined in and it was a highlight of the night. Danny also did a Taylor Swift mashup for my “swiftie” daughter. A great time was had by all thanks to the amazing talent of Danny Ray and his band.

Danny Ray and the Atlantic Street Band were ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!

From start to finish, they brought an unbelievable level of energy, talent, and professionalism that completely transformed our reception into the dance party of our dreams. Danny was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the planning process, and the entire band exceeded every expectation we had.

We truly felt heard throughout the process – Danny made sure we were able to customize our playlist and give input on song selections for the night, and he absolutely nailed it. It felt personal, thoughtful, and completely us.

The dance floor was packed all night long – people were literally dancing from the first song until the very last. We've had so many guests reach out just to say how phenomenal the band was and how much fun they had. The music, the vocals, the stage presence – it was all top-tier. Danny Ray and the Atlantic Street Band don’t just perform, they elevate the celebration and make it unforgettable.

Our FAVORITE part of our reception!

Booking Danny Ray and the Atlantic Street Band was the easiest decision to make! If you've seen them perform, you know what I mean! Danny and the band are amazing performers- we loved that they brought the party from the stage to the dance floor and really engaged our guests. I think I was on the dance floor the entire reception- they kept the dancing going all night! Six months later, our guests are still raving about how fun the band was! Danny and his team were also so easy to work with during the planning process- I cannot recommend them enough!!

The absolute best!

Wow, I don't even know where to begin! Danny Ray and the Atlantic Street Band were absolutely amazing; we still have guests telling us this was the best band they have EVER heard! From the staging to the ceremony to the cocktail reception, and then to a night of dancing and celebration, they were the absolute highlight and hit of the party! Words really can't do justice to how fantastic they were and the great time everyone had. The dancefloor was packed all night, and everyone kept telling me they didn't want the night to end thanks to Danny Ray and the Atlantic Street Band!

Showstopping performance!

Danny Ray and the band absolutely crushed it. The entire night was so special and so fun. We received countless compliments on their performance and it was certainly the best night of our lives- no small part of it was thanks to the band and the electric energy they brought to the reception. I first saw them perform at a friends wedding and immediately knew they were a must book vendor for our own wedding. I think I booked the venue/date first and Danny Ray second and you should too! We had kind of an eclectic music selections ranging from old school country to pop to classic funky sing alongs but the execution was so smooth and fun and the songs flowed together perfectly. The horns were coming in and out of the audience making it feel so fun and lively. Everyone had hoarse voices on Sunday morning and sore feet from singing and dancing. I really cannot stress enough how incredible they were and how energetic the dancing and presentation was. Thank you THANK YOU to Danny Ray and the band! Y'all are amazing!

This is your band if you want a dance party.

What even!!! Danny’s band gave me the dance party of my DREAMS!!! They were single-handedly the best part of the whole day. When I think of my wedding day I will always think of the dance floor!

I was totally not prepared for the amazing mashups they do!!! I knew they were a fun band based on reviews and videos, but to experience it in person was like nothing else.

We were behind schedule and the band wasted no time getting on the dance floor with us to kick off the party.

They even learned the aggie war hymn for our second-line send off, which was really sweet.

Everyone raved about the band and several people planning weddings asked us who they were. “I’m jealous this isn’t my band!” -said one friend who already booked her wedding band.

Book Danny ray! It’ll be the best decision you make!

Danny Ray and the Atlantic Street Band were the absolute life of our wedding party! They were mentioned by countless guests as one of the main highlights of the night. Their infectious energy created an incredible atmosphere that had everyone, young and old, dancing and having an unforgettable time.

Not only were they phenomenal performers, but they were also a dream to work with. They were incredibly responsive, fun, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. Their ability to seamlessly incorporate our preferred music styles into both our ceremony and reception was truly impressive.

Amazing Band!

Incredible Band!!

Danny Ray and the Atlantic Street band is absolutely EPIC!! An incredible band/entertainment was the most important thing to me on my wedding day and they did NOT disappoint in the slightest! The band members were out on the dance floor interacting with guests and had my guests on the dance floor ALL night, even during dinner! They played a varieties of music so all ages were dancing! They surprised me with a short Taylor swift set b/c they knew I loved her and my bridesmaids are still talking about how epic it was. All of my guests were RAVING about this band and asking us the name for weeks after the wedding. So many said it was the best wedding they've been to b/c of this band. BOOK THEM, you won't regret it!!!

Best band ever!

We had Danny Ray and the Atlantic Street Band for our wedding reception and it was one of the best decisions we made. From the beginning of the process, speaking with Danny on the phone and working with his team we had a really great experience. Danny was great to talk to and we were excited to have him on board. The night of our wedding they blew us away with their energy and talent! The saxophone player during cocktail hour was so incredibly talented and created a great atmosphere. When the band started playing during the reception the dance floor was never empty. I don't think there was a single person sitting down. Danny Ray and the band brought so much energy and they were able to read the crowd to keep everyone on their feet. We have had so many people tell us how great the band was and how much fun they had and that this was the best wedding they had ever been too. We had the best night of our lives and we're so glad we got to dance all night to Danny Ray and the rest of the band! If you want high energy and crowd interaction, this is the band for you! You will not regret booking Danny Ray and the Atlantic Street Band!

Best wedding band I've ever heard

We had Danny Ray and the Atlantic Street Band play our wedding and they made the party. From the beginning of the reception until the end, the only times when there was room on the dance floor was when they took a break. The energy they brought was infectious. Even my old grandma was up dancing all night. They are all incredible musicians, can play almost anything, an seemed like they were having as good a time as we were all night. After the party, we had numerous people specifically comment that this was the best wedding band they had heard. We also had their saxophone player play during a cocktail hour prior the reception, and he was incredibly talented and created a beautiful atmosphere.

The best band

Danny Ray and the Atlantic Street Band was the best band we could have ever chosen. We looked high and low for a band that would be upbeat and get everyone on the dance floor. Danny Ray and his team showed up and SHOWED OUT. I probably have been asked over 20 times the name of my band because everyone had so much fun. They do mashups where each song blends into the next and so there is never a dull moment. I am hiring them for any and every event for the rest of my life lol. Also, they are a very seasoned band, so they already had performed at my venue (Hotel ZaZa - Museum District) and knew the acoustics perfectly. Piano during cocktail hour/light jazzy music during dinner - which was the perfect volume and I could talk to people at the table without raising my voice/and then the dancing was absolutely popping. Look no further, hire this band!!!!

What a night!

This band is going to blow your mind. Not only will they meet your expectations, they will absolutely go above and beyond what you think your getting. I’m in the entertainment industry and this is not your typical wedding band. They are a GREAT band with high ENERGY and they throw an AWESOME party! My wife and I, along with all of our guests had the BEST time at our reception. People are stilling telling us how much FUN they had. It was a REAL CONCERT and a DANCE PARTY all in one. Danny and his team are professional, courteous and are all extremely talented musicians and singers. They PARTY with you!! They played hit after hit and kept the good vibes going all night long. At multiple points they were on the dances floor with us ROCKING OUT! We had high expectations and we honestly can’t thank them enough for making our night so memorable for everyone.

The most energetic and engaging band!!!

Epic wedding band!

Wow. Just wow. DANNY RAY and the ATLANTIC STREET BAND are truly the greatest wedding band we could have asked for. The band is filled with talented and lively musicians that carry a tremendous amount of energy throughout the entire night. The group was accommodating and learned new songs just for our wedding. All of their covers are fantastic, but in particular we loved their different medleys (Oldies, 2000s rock, pop and more). Above all else, Danny is simply one of the friendliest people we've met and just a joy to work with! We had a lot of specific asks him and his band always responded to them with excitement. I would highly recommend using DANNY RAY and the ATLANTIC STREET BAND for your wedding or event. All of our guests loved them and we did too!

Best. Wedding. Band. Ever. Literally every one of our guests said that. The dance floor was packed all night. NO ONE left our reception early because they couldn’t get off the dance floor. I’ve gotten multiple texts from our guests asking for their info. They played everything from AC/DC to Turnpike Troubadours to Britney Spears. Their medleys are so well put together and SO FUN! Best part of the night hands down and worth every penny!

The best band ever!

I saw them at a wedding 6 years ago and new they had to be at my wedding. They are amazing and keep the energy alive. They do mashups of every genre you can imagine and it;s seriously like you are at a concert. Highly recommend. I used them for my ceremony too and they it was beautiful.

The most special and unique reception EVER

We HIGHLYYYYY recommend Danny Ray and the Atlantic Street band. They played our wedding reception in San Antonio and people were absolutely gushing to us about how much fun they were. They did some really fun mashups that were huge crowd pleasers. And their set list is super diverse, so we heard a little bit of all of our pop favorites — Kesha, Selena, Blink 182, etc. — along with the wedding classics that get everyone on the dance floor.

But the most special part of all is that they learned FOUR songs for us that we wanted to hear for our first dance, the father-daughter dance, the mother-son dance, and a surprise song for our parents’ 40th anniversary. It just made our reception feel so personal and unique.

I really couldn’t recommend them more. We hope you choose them for your wedding!

Amazing Energy!

Our guests can't stop raving about DANNY RAY and the ATLANTIC STREET BAND's incredible energy. We've repeatedly heard from many attendees that this was the best wedding they've ever been to, which is largely attributable to the hell of a show this band put on. We had no doubt they would give it their all and they definitely didn't disappoint! We loved how they came down from the stage and danced with us on the dance floor for a few songs. It is also amazing how happy every member looks as they are performing each song, they are clearly just as excited to be there as we are! The best wedding band. Period.

We could not have been happier with our decision to hire Danny Ray and the Atlantic Street Band to play at our wedding! They were AMAZING from start to finish.

First (and less importantly, but still important) they were so easy to work with on the front end. Super amenable to our requests, learned a few songs for first dances, and were very quick on communication whenever we had questions or they needed information from us.

Second (and much more important) they absolutely CRUSHED the wedding reception! They brought so much energy and kept the dance floor popping from start to finish. Since our wedding ended, I've had a few of our guests tell me that it was the most fun wedding they've been to -- and that is due in no small part to the amazing show that Danny Ray and the Atlantic Street Band put on.

I truly can't say enough good things about this band -- they are amazing. Stop reading reviews and hire these guys!

100% Amazing!

Danny was absolutely amazing to work with leading up to our big day! We were a rescheduled wedding, and he was super helpful in managing all the pieces and quick to respond.

On the day, the band was absolutely amazing! Our guests continue to rave about how amazing the band was. I would 10/10 recommend you booking Danny and his band! They were absolutely amazing!

An amazing and lively band that will make your wedding!

Danny Ray and the Atlantic Street Band were absolutely amazing at our wedding - we had the BEST time with them. They are great performers and have a wide range of music they can play - they were also able to cover many songs we wanted played at our wedding by performing a variety of medleys, which also surprised our guests. The band also came down to the dance floor at a few points and performed amongst our guests, which they loved. After the wedding, many of our guests said the band was their favorite part.

Also, we were one of those couples that had to postpone multiple times due to COVID and Danny was incredibly understanding and supportive during that time. We were so excited to finally get to celebrate with him and his band after years of planning - they were perfect for our big celebration and we hope we get to celebrate with them again soon at other weddings/performances!

Best. Band. Ever.

Danny Ray and the Atlantic Street Band were FABULOUS!! They were the entertainment our entire wedding; from a stunning trio during the ceremony, to the awesome saxophone during cocktail hour, to the whole band for the reception. We could not have asked for a better group of people to work with throughout this process. Not only did we have the best day of our lives, but many of our guests remarked how incredible the band was and what an amazing time they had dancing all night. Danny is so professional but personal; he is the perfect person to work with! If you are looking for a great time, this is your band!!

Danny Ray and the rest of the band absolutely was the key to our wedding, we had so much fun with them leading the way. They called us several times to make sure they would delivered on everything we wanted. Here is an email i sent them. "Hey Danny I wanted to reach out to you and thank you again. We had really high expectations for the bands performance and you guys exceeded them. Hip replacements and arthritis couldn’t keep my mom off the dance floor, I’ll always remember my dad dancing with everyone in his wheelchair. Wow wow wow! Amazing!

Danny and the whole band!

WOW WOW WOW!! Where do I begin on how amazing you guys were. You all MADE our whole wedding. The energy, the singing, the dancing, I can go on and on. We have not stopped being told that our wedding was the best people have ever attended and I wish it was because Jacob and I are so cool, but we all know it was because of YOU! No one left the dance floor, we have like 50 photobooth pics from guests because no one wanted to stop dancing and partying. I mean the entree course was almost missed because of people wanting to dance. The horns on the dance floor, the rapping to loose yourself, I replay the whole night over and over. I cannot wait to see the pictures of us dancing with the horns. I will send some your way as well. My maid of honor is like how do I get them to Florida for my wedding (let me know). Thank you for the bottom of our hearts for truly bringing everything you got. We truly had the best band ever and now I need to throw more parties to have you guys there! Best Band Ever!!

There are lots of decisions to make when having a wedding-- what to serve at dinner, the floral arrangements, bridesmaid dresses, etc. Luckily, choosing a band was not a struggle for us! The second we watched a Danny Ray and the Acoustic Production video on Youtube, we knew they were perfect! On our wedding night, Danny and his band went above and beyond our expectation. They were absolutely electrifying! Everyone in the room ages 3-90 was dancing. The band played music from all the decades and nailed the hora, a special part of our Jewish celebration. Before the wedding, we had a phone call with Danny, where we were able to discuss our music preferences. The band even catered to my oddly specific request of no electric guitar solos seamlessly replacing them with upbeat horns and piano. We also had a special request for our last song, and Danny could not have made the moment more beautiful. Hiring Danny Ray and the Acoustic Production should be the easiest wedding decision you make. It’s been over a week since our wedding and people are still talking about how great the band was.

They've got the magic touch to take your wedding to the next level

I've waited nearly three weeks from my wedding on October 9th to write this review because I still can't believe that was *MY* wedding. I am still so floored and in disbelief at how absolutely EPIC Danny Ray and his team were to work with. From changing dates bc of COVID to working through our sound and song choices, he was professional and efficient, so kind and such an awesome human being. A dream of a vendor to work with. On the day of our wedding, they set the tone and pace for the evening. It was flawless execution from the get go. We selected a guitarist and cellist for ceremony, and their acoustic rendition of First day of my life that I walked down the aisle to still makes my heart flutter from nervous excitement. They curated an ultra romantic ambience and I'm glad I had their magic touch instead of playing it over speaker. For the unity candle, my husband requested the song Going Home from the anime Bleach on guitar, and when we heard Danny play it live (and not played over speaker) I was so surprised, and impressed. A few unforgettable, priceless memories that live in my head and make my heart swell with happiness from the rest of the night (made possible by the soundtrack of Danny and his stellar team) are: 1 About a dozen of my friends and family putting their forks down MID-FIRST COURSE to get up on the dance floor and hold their person because Constance's rendition of At Last was soo moving, smooth, and powerful that they just *had to* get up and slow dance. I looked up and that scene of my loved ones taking in the beauty of that moment, holding their partner close made my eyes well up (and lashes come loose). 2 Danny transitioning the father daughter dance from a tear jerker Celine Dion ballad to the upbeat Isn't She Lovely, and grooving out super silly with my dad. 3 We asked our friends to sing a duet for our first dance (Best Part by HER/ Daniel Caesar) and they did to a piano track. The band came in and elevated the track, played along like it was a jam session and threw in smooth baseline and guitar melody, adding so much dimension to the number it was awesome. 4 Belting out Blink 182 and Mr Brightside with my friends from high school and medical school!! It was the warped tour we always wanted to go to! 5 Singing Dancing Queen with my mama and aunties. 6 Dancing to Ain't no mountain high enough with my parents and (introverted/ reserved) in-laws. 7 My 78 year old pops getting up on a chair and dancing with Danny and the horns (who were also standing up on chairs and jamming out). 8 My parents and their friends (in their 60s) used to go to discos together and they were dancing like they were in their 20s again! I have footage of my dad and his friends grooving to Earth Wind and Fire like it was the 80s with backs of their shirts drenched, and moms trying to pat off sweat with dinner napkins! 9 Toddler nephews and friend's young kiddos having a blast on the dance floor, attempting to break dance and twirling their little heart out! Our guests hashtagged the night #Kohchella - a play off my new last name (Koh) and because the music was so groovy and band made the most epic evening of a party. All in all, Danny's team was well worth every single penny. I would choose this band over again and will be singing their praise to any and all friends the moment they get engaged. Danny's team has the secret sauce, the bass, the drums, keys, horns, and guitar. They are the key ingredient to elevate any event they're a part of.

AMAZING energy and SO personalized. BEST BAND!

THE BEST BAND! Literally had so many guests say this was the best band they had ever heard at a wedding. I told them before I was a huge Taylor Swift fan and they played the most epic mashup I've heard. Besides getting married that day, the taylor mash up was the highlight of the night (hahah don't tell my husband). But the variety they played was so amazing and all ages just loved this band. At one point they walked/played outside to come get everyone after intermission and it was like we were in New Orleans. Cannot say enough amazing things about Danny Ray and the Acoustic, so personalized with all the energy! I was so impressed every song I asked for or certain ways to shorten/played were all incorporated and the emails answers so promptly! I am so impressed and recommend to everyone!!

Private Concert with Our Favorite People

Danny Ray and the Acoustic Production outdid themselves on our wedding day! The energy, enthusiasm, vocals, depth of sound with the brass instruments, was absolutely phenomenal. I went over budget and paid for this myself because I knew they would make our wedding experience so much better, and it was honestly better than anything we could have imagined. Our guests all stayed until the end of the night and on the dance floor, and many commented “they wished they could have stayed longer”. If you’re on the fence about getting a band and hiring Danny, take this as your sign to book now!

Best wedding band ever in Houston!

I hired Danny Ray and the Acoustic Production for my daughter's wedding. This band was AMAZING and made our reception the most fun wedding EVER. They are high, high, high energy, very cool, very attractive, and very interactive. They can sing any genre and are extremely versatile. We couldn't believe how talented Danny and the 2 female singers were and the instrumentalists were unbelievable. We had a "New Orleans" themed wedding and Danny and his team helped us infuse some NOLA elements into the wedding (starting with a jazz trio during cocktails plus a second line of brass instrumentalists for the end of the night). We booked their 14-piece dance band so we could have 2 continuous hours of dance music. We could have danced another 2 hours because Danny and his band were incredibly fun and played something for every age group. This is the best money you can spend at your wedding. Well worth it. Every guest enjoyed it. If I had another wedding to book, the first person I will call is Danny Ray. Superb!

Their energy is unreal and they do a fantastic job of engaging with the audience - the lead singer and several musicians have no qualms with jumping right in the middle of a mosh pit. Unbelievable Experience

Danny Ray and the Acoustic Production are absolutely incredible. We first came across the band when we went to one of their local shows and my wife and I immediately fell in love. They were fun, energetic, professional, and really know how to put on a show. We went with the 8-piece band for the reception/cocktail hour and had the 3-piece strings/piano for the ceremony and it worked out perfectly. They truly know how to read the room and seemingly play the songs that everyone wants to hear and keep the crowd going! We even made a special request to play a song for the bride's father and they learned it for us (along with a special shout out for the song during the ceremony). Danny Ray and the Acoustic Production is definitely a group that you want to have at your wedding if you plan on having a good time! To this day, guests are still talking about how good Danny Ray and their mash-ups were!

Excellent!

Danny Ray and the band truly set a great tone for our wedding reception. They’ve got an huge playlist and we really liked the way they read the room and pick the right songs for the moment. (Ranging from quite Jazz at dinner and then progressively more rocking later in the evening.) Danny does a great job keeping things moving and the coordination between band members is top notch, no lulls or downtime as they transition from one number to another. Singing and musicianship was impressive and you can tell they are enjoying the music along with the rest of the party. We continue to hear from guest how much they enjoyed this band! Could not have been happier with this band. Thank you Danny Ray!

Best wedding band ever

Danny Ray and the Acoustic Production was the wedding band of our dreams!!!! I've been to a lot of weddings and I have never had a band bring so much energy and excitement to the dance floor! Danny was an amazing MC and his band went above and beyond to make the whole night so much fun! (Even had the horns play to signal for dinner and led us to our getaway car!). The crowd was so hyped after their sets that we chanted for an Encore and got it!! Just an all around unbelievable evening and I would recommend this band to ANYONE in need of a Wedding Band!!

Not only was the night itself incredible, but we had to postpone our original wedding date due to Covid-19 and Danny was so accommodating and caring throughout the whole rescheduling process. He even came up with ideas on how to make sure our rescheduled wedding was a blast!! I would say it's a rare thing to have a band care so much about making your wedding day something special.

I would call it an overall 10/10 experience. :)

You guys. BOOK THIS BAND!!!!!! They’re amazing, we danced all night, guests danced all night and it was the absolute best. It’s 3 months after our wedding and we are STILL hearing compliments about how fun and awesome everything was and one of the reason's was because of this lively, one-of-a-kind band!!!! Not to mention, Danny and gang are awesome to work with – my husband plays guitar and we planned a song where we all got on stage and jammed and it’s one of our favorite memories to re-live. They play every single genre spot on, and they're energy and chemistry are through the roof!! We can't count the number of times people told us that it was the most fun they've ever had, and proof was that we saw a bunch of family and friends who never dance OUT ON THE FLOOR!!

Phenomenal Energy, Attention to Detail, Meaningful Engagement

Danny Ray and the Acoustic Production are the best possible band you could book for a wedding. They play a variety of music and engage with the guests in ways you would not imagine.

We received so many compliments from guests about how great the music was and we really enjoyed dancing ourselves. It was very apparent the band loves performing at weddings and their energy and enthusiasm set the tone for the entire night.

Danny also performed a private dance for us before our guests came in; this performance was incredibly meaningful and well done.

The best band!!

We saw them at a showcase in Houston and fell in love! They are not only incredible singers but truly know how to get a crowd going! They can do everything!

Danny was great! He was easy to work with leading up the event, always got back to us quickly. We had a special first dance request which they nailed! We had an early afternoon/brunch wedding so we weren’t sure how much dancing there would be, but they had a bunch of people out on the floor! They had a very large genre selection when we were picking out music selections. Very happy we went with them!

Best dance party ever

AMAZING. People are still talking about this band and the dance party a whole month later. We did a backyard wedding, and Danny was so accommodating and flexible with everything! Pure Excellence!

Danny Ray and his team went above and beyond to create the perfect tunes and vibe for our wedding! It was clear both in the moment and looking at the photos afterwards that EVERYONE was having a grand old time dancing. Some of the band members even had amazing break downs (guitarist kneeling on the floor) and getting up on the tables to start the party! After the wedding I had so many guests mention how much they loved the band. Danny also did an acoustic performance for our ceremony and it couldn't have been more "us." We're so glad we chose Danny Ray & the Acoustic Production for our wedding! If you're considering them, know that they are flexible and laid back, and super talented to boot!

Book This Band!!!!!!

Danny Ray and the Acoustic Production made my wedding!!! The whole time, everyone was out on the dance floor. Didn't matter what age group. The band was unreal and so talented. Nearly every single guest came up to me at the send-off breakfast the next day and told me how incredible the band was!!! They learned songs that I wanted especially to be played, and brought such a positive, fun energy to the whole night. When I started planning the weekend so many months ago, I knew that the music would be key to making the night. If you want true, talented professionals, please don't mess around. Book this band. My husband loves them so much, he even wants to attend their showcase performances! Thank you to this band for creating a magical night that I will never forget (and neither will our guests)!!

Whenever my husband and I were wedding planning, having the perfect band at the reception was at the top of the list- almost higher than finding the perfect dress- ok, so maybe the band was a close second ;) I cannot express how thankful I am that we booked Danny Ray and the Acoustic Production for my wedding! We knew we wanted a mix of music played (country, classic rock, pop hits) and the band did it ALL! We ended up getting the 7 piece band, which was perfect for our venue.

My husband and I arrived to the reception an hour or so after our guests and before we even got announced, the dance floor was FULL of people dancing!! My parents had their friends coming up to them saying "OH! This is going to be a great wedding!!! This band is amazing!!!" Danny Ray and the Acoustic Production truly went out of their way to make sure everyone had a great time. They didn't just stand on stage and sing- they interacted with the crowd, got on the dance floor and preformed! And at one point of the night, even my husband ended up getting on stage with them and sang "You Never Even Called Me by My Name" by David Allen Coe. It. Was. Great. The energy the entire night was so high and we didn't want it to end!!

Danny and his band are wonderful! They are able to get everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, on the dance floor. They made our reception, cocktail hour and reception perfect. If you're looking for a band, I highly recommend Danny. Also, they're extremely talented, which is a plus.

Danny Ray was AMAZING! Their name threw me off at first (the whole “acoustic production” part of it), but we went to go listen to them in person at a bar, and they were awesome, and I definitely wouldn’t describe them as “acoustic.” Since, for my now-husband and me, the band was the most important aspect of our wedding, we went to listen to ~10 different wedding bands perform live to decide who to book, and Danny Ray was definitely one of the top 3 we heard (in many different price ranges). We ultimately booked with Danny Ray since they were about $5K cheaper than the other “great” bands. We booked the 10 piece band for our wedding. At first I was concerned that a skinny white guy like Danny would only be good at country music and Michael Bublé, but, with the help of 2 (non-skinny white boy) female vocalists, the band really had SOUL (and surprisingly, Danny also had some soul). They killed Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, and basically everything else they played. The 3 piece horn section was amazing, and really added to the sound of the band. I especially loved how interactive the band members were with my guests. The guitarists would come onto the dance floor and jam out with the guests and join our “train”. The singers would shimmy with my obnoxious girlfriends who’d jump onto the stage and steal their microphones. Our dance floor was packed ALL night, and it definitely can be attributed to how amazing Danny Ray was! All of my guests told me, “YOUR BAND WAS AWESOME!” after the wedding, so I know it wasn’t just me who was impressed. I spoke with Danny (both via email and on 2 hour phone calls) many times before the wedding to tell him what kind of sound I wanted and that “energy” was important to me, and the results definitely exceeded my expectations. I’d highly recommend booking Danny Ray ASAP!!

PS they also provided my ceremony sound and uploghtong for the reception, which was great!

Danny Ray and the Acoustic Productions were the LIFE of the party. They were all phenomenal musicians and they got everyone out on the dance floor. All our guests kept complimenting how incredible they were all night long. Danny performed with his acoustic guitar and a cellist during our ceremony – they created such a delicate and romantic element for our ceremony which I will remember forever. The female vocalist who accompanied Danny previously played Christine Daae in the Las Vegas Phantom of the Opera residency. During dinner, she sang the most beautiful rendition of “Think of Me” and it nearly brought me to tear. Everyone had chills. Incredible!

This band played our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at the Corinthian - and they KILLED IT!

Instead of changing up my words to talk ABOUT Danny and the band, I'll just let you read some of what I said TO Danny and the band: [an excerpt from an email sent to Danny on December 21, 2017 - almost 7 whole weeks after our wedding - so you get the idea...]

"When I say that I haven't stopped daydreaming about the wedding, I 100% mean that. It was beyond perfect. People from my little hometown are still talking about it, my coworkers are still talking about it, my friends who have been to a million weddings are still talking about it - and most importantly, Nate and I are still talking about it. You were literally the only vendor that I wasn't worried about. You made it easy to trust you, and man did that ever pay off. The biggest fights during the planning process were between my mom and I about the music. [She was imagining all the CDs she broke in half during my teen years blasting during the wedding] She didn't trust me, and she didn't know enough (like I did) to trust you. To say that she was pleased with the way the tunes turned out is the understatement of the century. From the second you guys started playing until the Corinthian had to kick us out, the tone was set and the night was PERFECT. Considering that I was still throwing ideas at you - what - two days before?! It couldn't have been any better. There's nothing I would change other than going back in time and having some weird ability to slow down time and take it in even more than I did. I need a set list, I need a live concert special, I need something because I just want to relive it forever. It was THAT GOOD! Even the old folks were raving over the ceremony music and that was 100% for me and Nate."

We had seen Danny Ray and the Acoustic production before our wedding and knew they were going to be great but wow did they just ROCK our Wedding! The music and singing were exceptional during the ceremony, cocktail hour and Bride/Groom parents dances. Then came the PARTY! Danny Ray and his group met every expectation we had and then blew them away! The evening was awesome, the dance floor was packed at all times. They knew just what to play and when to play it not to mention their music and execution was amazing! Everyone I spoke to at the wedding loved them and my Bride and I cannot recommend them enough. In fact we cant wait to see them again in a month when they play at our cousins wedding. Not only was the Band fabulous that evening, but Danny is a true professional and great guy along with all the members of his band they couldn't have been more engaging and fun that night. Danny Ray was great! We booked them for our ceremony and had some song lyrics in our vows - they picked up on them and played along, it was beautiful and perfect!
The reception was equally amazing - we requested 90s, hits, and Texas country which they delivered amazingly! The dance floor was packed all night, and the encore was an amazing mash up! I could not have been happier with them!
If you do not have the ability to see them live - do not worry (we booked them without seeing them live, but did get to see them before the wedding), they sounds exactly like their recordings! Definitely not a cheesy wedding band - these guys are talented and love what they do! Would highly recommend - worth every penny!

We decided to book Danny Ray and the Acoustic Production after hearing them perform at the local Houston bar/music venue, the Raven Tower. This turned out to be such a great decision! They were so easy to work with and helpful and just good people all the way around. On top of it all, these guys were absolutely amazing and played every type of genre we requested! From the music played by the string trio during the cocktail hour to the full 7-member band playing during the reception from our list of requested songs, they were perfect. Everyone commented on how wonderful the band was and how personable they were even when making announcements during the reception. Danny Ray and the Acoustic definitely helped make our special evening even so much more memorable for our guest and us! Thank you guys so much, Sarita and I love everything you guys did for us!

It's a no-brainer that you need live music and it doesn't get any better than with Danny Ray! The band is simply amazing. From the start of the reception until the very last song, the groove and vibe were amazing. It's been 1+month and we are still getting compliments about how awesome the band sounded and how it was the most fun they've had in a while. Now I'm trying to figure out other occasions to get them back to play!

We could not have chosen a more perfect musical accompaniment for our big day. Danny & co were brilliant. Not only are they musically gifted but they also did a great job in reading the room in order to maximize our guests' enjoyment. From classical and rat pack, to today's modern hits, Danny ray and the acoustic production were able to span our wide array of musical tastes and even throw in a few bond themes as a special request. Our guests were still talking about our 'rockin' wedding band even weeks after the event. They were the ultimate enhancement to our special day and we would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone.

Two words - Simply Fantastic!! I have varied taste in music from Sinatra to Pharrell, & they were able to play it all! Also a plus that they can do lovely cello/guitar for the ceremony as well as help with announcements during the reception. Danny Ray is a very personable & fun guy to work with. He was willing to take suggestions & was patient to work around my schedule to help make things come together. My wedding reception was a success because of them; they read the room perfectly & got people on the dance floor that normally wouldn't be there! Overall, they made my wedding memorable; after attending multiple weddings with a standard DJ, I can say that having Danny Ray's band made it unique, special, & overall fun. :)

We booked Danny Ray and the Acoustic Production after going to listen to them play at a local hotel. Danny Ray was super responsive, very informative, and proactive. He asked several questions and very detailed oriented and thorough . He wanted to make sure our expectations were met and he exceeded them. All of our guest loved the band and we continue to get complements on such a fun night of dancing. There were not any points in the night where the dance floor was not packed and our guest had a wonderful time. We gave him a small list of must play songs and told him to just read the crowd and play what he thought everyone would liked and we did not have one complaint on any of his song choices. We would highly recommend the band to anyone looking for a great professional production at reasonable cost.

None other than you have to book!!! Danny was beyond accommodating, transparent, creative, honest... everything a bride could ask for when planning her wedding. We recently had our reception at The Magnolia Hotel in downtown Houston. For our cocktail hour we had acoustic music sung by Danny and for the reception we used the full band. Words cannot describe how thankful we are for Danny Ray and the Acoustic Production. They made our wedding night absolutely perfect. Danny's acoustic hour was beautiful. His falsetto is OUT OF THIS WORLD!! As for the reception, the band had everyone dancing the ENTIRE night! Our guests were having a blast and everyone came up to us all night complimenting the music. Our first dance, daughter/ father dance, and son/ mother dance sounded excellent. The band took the time to learn the songs we chose for our individual dances and even worked with me to slow them to a pace we could more easily dance to. Another thing to point out is how great Danny was at coordinating the night; his calm approach to keeping the night organized was much appreciated! My husband and I could not have asked for a better band on our wedding day. THANK YOU!

The band did an amazing job and was the 'highlight of the night' for guests from all ages and all music genres. Danny was very easy to work with as we planned from overseas and then meeting with us the week before to help us plan out some songs and the night. They did a great job from before the ceremony all the way through the last song. From showing up extra early, to helping through other parts of the night and even playing some new songs for us they were amazing to work with and have apart of our night. Danny Ray and the Acoustic Production played at my wedding on May 14th at Big Sky Barn in Montgomery, TX. We picked Danny and the group after seeing him play solo in Houston. We had to plan the wedding from outside the US and Danny was so responsive and easy to work he put our planning nerves at ease. I can't write enough to thank the group for their wonderful music and talent that kept the dance floor packed all night. The band was so easy to work with the day of and throughout the night, and even played a couple songs not typical to a standard wedding set. I cannot imagine a better band, for both the ceremony and the reception, than Danny Ray.

The ceremony music was perfect - including stopping the bridal entrance song early, but at the right point, to get the show on the road. The reception was great - Danny Ray has a great sense of the crowd, and played music that fit the age, gender, and enthusiasm mix.

Most of all, Danny was awesome to work with before, during, and after the event. He and his lovely wife Liz responded promptly to all questions and was always available to talk on the phone with any questions or concerns. He was a great M.C. - including some herding of children to the kids room. Probably the most special part was that he and the band did a special Beatles mix - my husband and my mom's favorite band). It was so special, and would have been the highlight of the day, except for the fact that Danny and my husband conspired for my husband to sing me a song. It was beautiful.

I cannot imaging having anyone there to help us and to share our wedding day wtih!

Danny Ray and the Acoustic Production played at our outdoor wedding in April and were INCREDIBLE! Danny's communication skills leading up to the wedding were awesome, answered emails QUICKLY and was always there to answer any questions and provide suggestions. We were especially thrilled when we found out that they could also help us in the lighting department. Their performance the day of the wedding was more than I could have asked for! The ceremony music was beautiful and we even had guests complimenting the band during the reception. They were talented and so very kind and we couldn't recommend them more!

Danny was so amazing and so professional. He arrived early, got set up with no problem and started playing beautiful music as the guests arrived. He played all the songs that we chose for the ceremony just they way that we wanted. The guests loved the music and talked about how lovely it was for days after the wedding was over. Not only is Danny a great musician, but he is was so nice and had such a clam demeanor that was pleasant to be around, especially with all the nerves going crazy before waling down the aisle. When I first heard acoustic production play at a wedding I attended years ago I knew I had to have that at mine one day.

Danny Ray was so helpful and professional. Acoustic Production played during my ceremony and cocktail hour. After cocktail hour Danny Ray was the DJ for the reception. He did an amazing job playing all the songs I wanted and reading the crowd. So many guests complimented on both the acoustic music as well as the DJ services. Danny Ray performed his acoustic music during my ceremony and you won't believe how many compliments I received from my guests! He sounded amazing! I could not have been more pleased with Acoustic Production's services for our wedding in September.
Danny and Elizabeth were always prompt in responses and worked with us to find exactly what would work for our budget and needs at our venue. We settled on one of their packages that includes ceremony music, cocktail hour, and DJ services.
We picked out a mix of classical and contemporary songs from their repertoire and we requested one song for them to learn (Oh my love by John Lennon) Everything was flawless. For the reception, Danny created a great selection of that kept everyone dancing until the very end.
It also speaks very highly of Danny that my other vendors (photographer and planner) were ecstatic to work alongside him. I would highly recommend Acoustic Production to anyone looking for any of the services I used.

We used Acoustic Production for our wedding because their style was much different than the typical string quartet. The acoustic guitar along with the cello compliment each other nicely for an original sound to your wedding. We first met Danny for a consultation and we knew upon leaving that they were the ones we wanted to perform at our wedding. They are very accommodating to what you would like and even try to learn any songs you may want that is not on their list. We asked them to play a song or two that they never played before and they learned it within a day! We were very pleased with the price for their service as well, compared to the competition. We are so happy that we chose them to add that special touch to our wedding. The working relationship was great and their unique sound was beautiful and elegant. Danny even recorded our ceremony recessional on his phone and sent it to me after the wedding. We absolutely loved hearing it as we weren't really able to hear at the time with the clapping and being caught up in the moment. I highly recommend them to anyone as you will not be let down.

We absolutely loved Acoustic Production! We were looking for something outside of the usual string quartet for our ceremony music, and once I heard these two, I knew I had to have them play for us. Danny's voice is amazing, and the combination of the guitar and cello together is something you just don't hear everyday. We wanted our wedding day to be simple, elegant, and personal, and the music from AP was a perfect fit. These two are an absolute must have for your big day!!

Danny was great! He made a song mix for my dad and I. He and Jenny (celloist) learned 2 new songs for our ceremony and it sounded beautiful. They were able to get downstairs in time to play during our cocktail hour and Danny came right back upstairs to DJ our wedding. Really enjoyed working with him! He's flexible and easy to get a hold of and responded to our emails promptly.

I first saw Danny Ray at a wedding a few years ago in Cypress and his performance made quite an impression on me. When my daughter said she wanted an outdoor wedding under the canopy of majestic oaks at our ranch I immediately envisioned him, accompanied by the cellist, providing the perfect sense of serenity and grace that the setting deserved. He was willing to travel out of town and accommodated our need for music in various locations on the grounds throughout the evening. He worked closely with the bride and groom to make sure that the music set was right on point. He even surprised them during the ceremony by performing a song live that they expected to be recorded. He went that extra step to learn the song for them and that meant so much. His sound is so pure and gentle that it gives me goose bumps when I think about it to this day. His ability to offer emcee and DJ services, in addition to his tremendous talent as a musician, makes him the perfect choice!

Danny is awesome!!! He was so wonderful to work with as we were planning our wedding. He played beautiful instrumental music for our ceremony. He also played and sang for us during our cocktail hour. He has an amazing voice! So talented!! I would highly recommend him for any event....but please invite me, so I can hear him play again!! ;-)
