My husband and I have been married 30 years now and decided to renew our vows in New Orleans along the Mississippi River. I contacted a few wedding officiants and reached out to Danielle. Danielle was super responsive and helped us pick vows to share. It was just the two of us and Danielle performing the ceremony...and a few bystanders who congratulated us after the event. Due to a very rainy Friday, Danielle was incredibly flexible to shift the day and time of our renewal to the next day - which was quite a beautiful one. We choose a true professional who made our day super special! Thank you so much Danielle for helping us plan this event and officiating! It was an amazing day for us. -

We had Danielle act as the officiant for our wedding, and we are thrilled to have made that decision. Danielle was easy to work with, genuine, and overall the right option to have in front of our friends and family on such an important day. In addition to the usual challenges of planning a wedding, we had the added difficulty of being from out of town. At no point were we anything less than confident in our planning process. Danielle is truly so great and I am thankful for her services. She is very flexible, accommodating, and affordable. We planned our own ceremony script and Danielle assisted with the editing and proof reading. The ceremony itself was exactly how I envisioned it to be. We do not reside in New Orleans or Louisiana, so my appreciation for Danielle goes beyond words with her flexibility and accommodation of our schedules leading up to our wedding day. Danielle was a FANTASTIC officiant. We were a little picky about what we wanted in our wedding ceremony (non-religious, no mentions of "fate" or "only one" or "belonging to each other"), but we didn't know exactly what we wanted the ceremony to say.
We met with Danielle for an hour prior to hiring her so we could get a feel for each other. Danielle was supremely professional, taking notes on everything we said, asking us to talk about our relationship, what we meant to each other, if we wanted readings, etc. As we left our first meeting, we felt the ceremony was more or less written already! It was a casual, no-pressure situation that made us feel really comfortable hiring her.
Writing the ceremony with Danielle was an easy, collaborative process. We felt comfortable telling Danielle where we had hard lines on specific language and Danielle respected them. She came prepared with ideas for language or even specific parts of the ceremony, such as suggesting a memory box for the unity ceremony, which turned out to be our favorite part of the ceremony!
The wedding itself was fantastic. Danielle came with print-outs of our vows and of the readings we had selected. She came up to us prior to the ceremony to ask if there were any last-minute things she needed to know, and we sincerely appreciated the proactive check-in! When there was a medical emergency later during the reception, Danielle helped a guest who was feeling anxious to calm down, which was going truly above and beyond.
We wholeheartedly recommend Danielle to anyone looking for an officiant. Working with Danielle was easy and comfortable, and we always felt like we were in good hands.
