I could not say enough great things about working with Danielle Baum for my wedding day hair and makeup! Not only did she put together an amazing team of hair and makeup artists to make sure the morning ran smoothly, but was so accommodating for all the last minute changes that took place. Her communication was unmatched! Honestly, out of all my vendors I would say I had the best communication with Danielle. On the day, she made me feel and look like the most beautiful bride and I could not thank her enough for all the work her and her team did for my wedding day. Everyone that got their hair and makeup done that morning was in awe that they looked just as great at the end of the night as they did leaving her chair that morning. If you are in the market for a hair and makeup artist for your wedding day or any special event, I highly recommend hiring her! -

Danielle travelled to the venue and set up chairs and a room for us to get ready in (me, my mom, and 2 bridesmaids). She and her assistant made the entire experience fun and relaxing. One of my favorite memories of the wedding was just being able to relax, slow down, and read my mom and grandmother my vows draft as we got our make-up done, and Danielle and her team created the chill atmosphere that allowed that to happen organically. -

Absolutely love Danielle!
I had the best experience working with Danielle. I started by contacting her for a quick phone consult. I had just started wedding planning and didn’t have a lot of details to share but she was open and flexible to where I was at in the planning process. She did my hair and makeup trial several months later after I had to cancel and reschedule due to changes in the photographers schedule. Again, she worked with me. The day of my trial it was windy and raining but my hair and makeup held up beautifully. The day of my wedding we ran ahead of schedule and i felt zero stress. The team she brought for my bridesmaids were also amazing and patient people. My family had many vague requests. My wedding was during a heat wave but everything stayed put. I still looked like me but better. Danielle is an awesome person to hang out with and I’ll definitely keep in contact for any future hair and makeup needs. Hands down a great person and artist. I’m so happy I was able to work with her. -

Danielle was recommended by my friend & bridesmaid. And, this was one of the easiest decisions in my wedding planning. My mom, bridesmaids and I had an enjoyable time with Danielle and the team of experts. She was flexible and professional. Particularly, because She has great team culture and extensive experience. I loved my bridal make up & hair for my special day. I highly recommend to add the bridal glow & the sample bag to retouch your make up. Thank you Danielle for making my day extra special. -

Amazing beauty professional!
Danielle and her team made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! She also dealt with a 10-person wedding party like it was no problem. Everything ran perfectly on time and everyone looked stunning. A few things stood out to me about Danielle 1) she is focused on skin health and natural beauty – she knows how to make your skin glow without feeling like you are caked in makeup; 2) she cares about her brides – Danielle does a breathing/relaxation exercise with you to help calm your nerves on the big day and it helped me immensely! I cannot recommend Danielle and her team enough! PS - ask to work with her hair partner Ardree – he is a hair mastermind! -

If you are looking at getting hair or makeup for a big event you really don't need to look any further. Danielle and her team were SO AMAZING to work with! I booked her almost 2 years before my wedding and she was great at communicating throughout the whole process. She helped me pick a hair and makeup style to match my rehearsal dinner dress (she did HMUA for rehearsal as well as wedding). On the big day, I had a large group so she brought a team of 3 other women. They came early which is often hard to do in LA, and were able to get through everyone's hair and makeup without any part feeling rushed and in perfect time. They were all so sweet and really got along with the group (it almost felt like they were a part of my wedding party lol). Everyone loved their hair and makeup, and we got a ton of complements. I struggle with knowing exactly what style I want, so I gave her a few pictures and she really got the whole idea of what I was going for hair and makeup wise. I also appreciated that she lets you pre-pay, which is nice to help spread out wedding costs. If I am ever in need of hair or makeup in the LA area again I am texting Danielle right away. I seriously cannot recommend Danielle enough!!! -

I loved getting ready with Danielle and trusting her with my hair and makeup! Immediately from the initial phone consultation I could tell Danielle was a good fit. On both to the trial day at her home studio and on our big day at home, she made the process fun. I don't wear a lot of makeup in my day to day life and have pretty sensitive skin and eyes and Danielle was so patient with me and listened to what I wanted at every step.
From my husband: Danielle did an amazing job beautifying my wife and I for our wedding! We didn't have a wedding party and we got ready together at home near the venue, so our needs were pretty simple with hair and makeup. My wife also spent a day with Danielle beforehand trying out different looks. Danielle listened to everything we wanted and made us feel special and cared for on our big day. Everyone said we looked amazing and the photos showed it! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Danielle to anybody looking for something similar! -

Unreal Wedding MUA
The few times I have gotten my makeup done, I looked almost unrecognizable. I was so nervous when looking for a makeup artist for my wedding that I went on a major skincare journey thinking "maybe I just won't wear makeup on my wedding day". It was about a month before the wedding and I thought, it's probably not the best idea not to have makeup on my wedding day, so I started researching. I found Danielle and was so happy I found her. She is so cool, has great ideas, and was very flexible and understanding with my schedule. On the day, I was feeling overwhelmed, and she sat my in the chair and rubbed lavender on my wrists which calmed me down a lot! I looked beautiful all day and night long, from every angle. Even all of my bridesmaids looked gorgeous. It was really a beautiful day, and Danielle was a huge part of it. Thank you, Danielle! -

I truly enjoyed working with Danielle and the professionals that she brought for the day of my wedding. I had the opportunity to do a trial with Danielle before the wedding and she did a great job of listening to my wants and my makeup turned out fantastic! She was very responsive to emails and texts from the time we first met and up until the wedding day. I loved her team of fantastic ladies and they all did such a great job with my hair and makeup as well as my bridesmaids and family members. I will definitely refer Danielle to any friends who are looking for a wonderful makeup artist and team! Danielle Baum did wedding makeup for one of my dear friends. I had never had my makeup professionally done before and was a little nervous about the process. Danielle did an amazing job and had such a calming presence. I decided to book her for my wedding after that experience. We had to go through a COVID reschedule, and she was extremely accommodating and easy to work with. I felt very safe during my makeup trial even though it was during another surge, and she followed all COVID safety protocols. She did an AMAZING job with my wedding makeup for myself, bridesmaids, and mom. She made me feel so relaxed and ready for my big day. I typically hate getting my photo taken, but I felt so beautiful with the hair and makeup done by Danielle that I was no longer nervous. My Maid of Honor at my wedding has now booked her for her upcoming wedding. We all Love Danielle!! -

Danielle and Ruth are amazing! My bridesmaids and I had such a blast getting ready with them, and they made us all look our best. Danielle & Team are AMAZING!!!
I cannot thank Danielle and her team enough for helping make me and my bridesmaids look so beautiful on my wedding day. I typically do not wear makeup and expressed that to Danielle -- she understood that I wanted a "natural look" but I'd be lying if I said I was a little nervous because most MUA go beyond whatever you hope for, even if you say natural. I was BEYOND pleased and happy with how my makeup turned out-- Danielle is a truly gifted MUA and knows exactly what her clients want/needs are and she delivers. She did such an amazing job that I've been featured in various bridal publications and I truly think it's all thanks to her work!! I am forever grateful for Danielle, Ruth and their entire team!! 10/10 -

Danielle was truly a joy to work with. First, it was very easy and reliable to communicate with her via email and phone throughout the entire process. When we met in person for my makeup trial, she listened and followed through on the natural look I was going for. She was super sanitary and clean, and came prepared with high quality products, a professional demeanor and a wonderful attitude. When the day of my wedding came around, Danielle was timely, did 3 others women's makeup just beautifully, and was a true helping hand since I didn't have an actual planner assisting with day-of things. She even calmed down my mom with some music and essential oils. I loved the makeup she did for me - it was a perfect balance of natural, dewy, and enough to pop in the photos. I got so many compliments on how I still looked like myself, which is what I wanted. I wish I had another event coming up so that Danielle could do my makeup again!! I will be recommending her whenever I can. -

Lovely experience!
I was feeling really stressed out the day of my wedding and Danielle took my mind off of everything! She took her time to make sure my mom and I loved our makeup. She even convinced us to keep the heavy brow for photos and she was 100% right! My makeup stayed well all day, didn’t affect my skin at all (and I have very sensitive skin), and turned beautiful in photos. Danielle was just a joy. We hung out and chatted while she did our makeup. It was relaxing and fun and I loved what I looked like afterward. My only wish is that I should’ve gotten false eyelashes, but I asked her not to so I could look more natural 🙄. My bad! Danielle knows how to do makeup for professional photos which is key on your wedding. I would 10/10 recommend her! -

Danielle and her team are the real deal! Punctual, communicative, and of course magicians with their tools. She really made my whole squad feel like the bells of the ball on my big day. I would hire her all over again and I actually do for many of my photography projects. THANK YOU LADIES!!!
