  Dani shot our wedding in September and took absolutely beautiful pictures. From the beginning she was responsive and always easy to get a hold of. She took the time to figure out what shots would work best for our venue and had great suggestions for our group on how to look our best on a hot sweaty day. After our wedding, we worked together on the photo albums and she gave great advice on how we might want to lay it out to capture our beautiful day through her photos. I recommend Dani for those that want a fun, spunky, yet professional photographer to capture their most important of life's moments.

  Dani is a fantastic photographer. There is so much that goes into creating beautiful photos that tell story of your life event. Relaxing people to get a natural smile, organizing the family members and making sure there are enough candids of all of them. And of course blending in so those candid moments present themselves. Dani gets all of this and more. We couldn't be more happy with the photos of our wedding. Thank you Dani!

  From the moment we started talking on the phone, it was as if we had been friends our whole life. I knew then that this was the photographer for my Wedding. She took absolutely stunning photos. All my wedding guests just loved her. So fun and friendly. Dani even gave great advice for a caterer as well.

  Dani knows her stuff. She is well organized and does a great job of guiding clients to the best outcome. She works very hard and has a great eye for that perfect shot. For a couple with supreme ignorance of wedding planning, Dani took on the extra role of getting our act together. Dani's extensive knowledge and connections get credit for our outfits, the music, flowers, and her positive affirmations helped us feel assured we'd selected a great location for our ceremony and reception. We are very thankful for Dani's "full service" approach and, of course, love the beautiful photo's of our special day.

  Working with Dani was such a easy process! What you might not realize going into relationship with a photographer for a wedding is how long the actual process will be. It isn't just about your special day, even though that day is important and you need someone who is up to the task. Really you need someone who isn't going to drop the ball afterwards! You need someone who will be there throughout the entire editing and photo selection process through the final printed copies and books to answer questions, bounce ideas off of, and take gentle redirection from. Dani was so fun to work with throughout all of this, we bought her top of the line package and were very pleased with the gorgeous photo books. As busy as we were planning and preparing, Dani kept us on track after the event when our enthusiasm and energy had wained. Working with Dani was a very open and honest process, we felt safe to be ourselves at all times around her, and had a ton of fun in the process!

  We knew that after the wedding we would have our memories and the photos. It was important for us to find a fabulous photographer who could capture our day beautifully, who would blend with our home and our guests. Dani is an amazing person and did a superb job. She is a pro-- she has a ton of experience and knows what works. The pictures are amazing and frankly-- she and her assistant were so unobtrusive they were hardly noticed.

  My (soon to be) son in law selected Dani Weiss after interviewing several photographers in the Seattle area. Dani is very warm and engaging. She intuitively understands what is important to a couple and to their families. We all felt very comfortable with Dani from the beginning. Dani's communication proceeding our daughters wedding was flawless. She asked a lot of questions and responded quickly to our inquiries. Dani is enthusiastic and very creative. She was just wonderful with the bridal party which included eight young children. Her humor, patience and flexibility in working with the little ones was amazing. But even better was Dani's truly stunning photography of the wedding day. She captured an abundance of delightful, candid shots of our daughter, son in law, both families, the bridal party, guests and venue. Dani also recorded so much detail - many things which we would have forgotten. She was generous with her time and talent and as an unexpected bonus, quickly provided the finished photos after the wedding. We'd give Dani 10 stars if the rating was available!

  Dani has a great eye and personality! Our wedding wasn't traditional but she made it work. After doing a visit at our site she decided to bring a 2nd photographer to help at no additional cost to us to help capture some key moments! We LOVE our final album and are very pleased overall.

  After reading many reviews on Yelp, Wedding Wire and others I decided to call Dani Weiss, who was fortunately available. We had barely five weeks notice before my daughter's wedding. Research on my own had yielded dubious results for other vendors, so Dani's experience and input for the florist, the caterer and the DJ were critical for the resulting excellent ceremony and reception. Dani worked with myself and my daughter on preparatory details of the photography. She requested a list of the shots we wanted and provided essential guidance on the timeline of events so the photography worked seamlessly with the ceremony, the catering, the DJ and the florist. Dani was patient and caring before, during and after the wedding. We are so impressed with the quality of her work, and with her sense of and eye for the right subject at the right time in the right place. She checked out the venue ahead of time to anticipate any potential problems and to develop ideas. She worked with the florist to come up with appropriate arrangements to frame shots, and her vision became beautiful reality.

  Dani was great to work with, from the initial meeting through collecting information for shot lists and the day of photography as well, she was always a pro, took amazing photos, and had just the right amount of humor and interaction to get awesome photos of many of our guests as well. I couldn't be happier with the photos from our wedding.

  Dani was wonderful to work with! I lived in Seattle for many years but moved to Tucson, Arizona 8 years ago. My husband and I decided to marry in Seattle where we had met. It is tough planning a wedding from afar! Dani was right there every step of the way to help me with everything! She had recommendations/ideas and referrals for vendors she had worked with in the past. It can be overwhelming in the beginning (and the middle, and the end) with all of the decisions that need to be made- especially if you have never been married before. Dani helped me brainstorm, shared ideas with me, and even made some phone calls for me to help me get the perfect spot lined up for pictures. Dani met with my husband and I in person and went over all of the choices and decisions that we would need to make. Her communication throughout the entire 12 month process was wonderful- she would often just check in to ensure that I was okay and ask if I needed any help. Dani was fantastic on the day of the event as well, she keep us organized and was very thorough on ensuring she got every shot I had asked for. Thank you Dani for being wonderful and fabulous! You helped me so much.

  Dani was able to work with us very well. Living in Colorado and having our wedding in Washington, we asked a lot of vendors about photographers, florists, etc.
  Many of them recommended Dani, and we checked her website out. We liked her style, and contacted her about the date. Lucky for us, we planned ahead, and she was available.
  She was very attentive to our wishes, and the process was very smooth. We would highly recommend her to anyone wanting some great photos.

  Dani was extremely fun to work with. She is very responsive to our quesitons and promptly processed our photos.
  She has an excellent eye for different types of shots. We loved our finished photos.

  Dani did an amazing job with our wedding photos! From the very beginning in the planning phase she guided us through every step of the process, making sure that we understood the pros & cons of each decision. She helped us make the best use of her time with us. She helped us prepare our photo lists so that we could get all the shots that we wanted to and not spend a whole lot of time trying to corral all the family for photos. During the family portraits she moved through all of them, guiding everyone where they needed to be efficiently but with control the entire time so that she was able to get all the photos that we had requested. Her candid shots throughout the day captured all the fun and love that our day held. Family members that were unable to attend said that through the photos they felt like they had been there the entire time. These are photos that we will cherish forever. The prints came out perfectly as well. Dani is definitely someone who we will return to for family photos in the future and will recommend for all of our friends and family as well. You cannot go wrong with choosing Dani as your photographer for your next event!

  Dani Weiss is an amazing professional photographer and a wonderful person. My husband and I are thrilled that we had Dani photograph our wedding this past August. Not only is Dani extremely talented and artistic, but she is also really fun to work with. We wanted photographs in the Pike Place Market and Dani was on top of everything at every moment from pictures of the family, to pictures of the bride and groom, to incorporating the beautiful Pike Place landmarks, to managing the crowds so that she could get the perfect shots. Everyone from our party was impressed. In fact, everyone at the wedding was impressed with Dani. Your wedding day is one of your "big" moments and it was so important for us to be comfortable with our photographer and to have trust. We love Dani and we couldn't have imagined anyone else capturing our entire day so beautifully and creatively.   Dani is a wonderful photographer. She was very professional in her discussions with us. She was very available to discuss issues that came up before the actual wedding. She was very forthcoming. In our initial meeting, Dani showed us her work at her studio. Of course, the photos were lovely.
  Dani was great during the wedding. She was unobtrusive while taking pictures. We loved the pictures too! The quality of the pictures is outstanding. Dani had us select which pictures we wanted and presented us with our beautiful phots.

  Dani was a joy to work with. There were several members of the wedding party and family who are uncomfortable having their pictures taken. Dani's combination of personality and professionalism helped those people feel comfortable with the experience and to relax. You can see it in the pictures! Dani listened to the bride and groom and incorporated their ideas into the poses. Dani's work is creative, unique and exactly what we were hoping for for the wedding.

  Dani was fantastic. Friendly, warm, very easy to work with. She worked to make our pictures reflect us, our family, and our wedding. She was patient with young children, but very organized and efficient in getting folks to pose together in great looking photos. We were extremely happy with her--and her photography was beautiful--and frankly enjoyed having her at our wedding. She got every shot we asked for and many that we would not have thought of--she was familiar with Ray's Boathouse and suggested we start taking pictures at Golden Gardens, which turned out to be a lovely idea. We would use her again for family photos, and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer who makes your wedding even better.

  Dani is a great photographer-- we love our engagement/wedding photos, and so does our family (and we are difficult to please). She is also a pleasure to work with-- full of great ideas and easygoing.
  
  Dani made us feel like a priority. She even scouted out possible locations to do our wedding/engagement portraits in advance with me so we could confirm the locations would work with our schedule and our aesthetic style.
  
  It was important to us that our wedding photographer capture the key events and mood of the day while not interfering with our or our guests' experience. I would not assign that task to an amateur. Dani exceeded our expectations. Guests even commented that they were impressed with how she got some amazing action/dancing shots while not interrupting the dancing at all.
  
  Dani took the time to understand our goals and even offered suggestions. With her years of experience and connection to other vendors, it was like we hired a photographer and event planner in one!
  
  We hope to hire Dani to celebrate other life events!

  My fiance and I were pretty jittery about picking a photographer. It seems like it's impossible to get a photo that both of us look normal in. We are also on the introverted side and wanted to work with someone that could maybe bring us out of our shells during the sessions.
  We loved working with Dani! She is totally down to earth and made us both feel at ease. She paid attention to every detail and you could tell she really cared about getting the shots. It paid off because we LOVE LOVE LOVE our wedding photos. Many of our guests also commented on how much they love our photos and how appreciative they were that Dani (or her 2nd photographer) took a minute to primp them (fix an out of place hair or hem line) before taking the shot.
  
  I totally recommend Dani--she is super witty and fun to work with. She was flexible about meeting times/places and always got back to us right away. She is also definitely connected with other high quality photographers if you feel you need two at your wedding, and her packages that included a 2nd photographer were reasonable.

  Dani was a true pleasure to work with and the quality of her wedding photographs left me speechless! Dani was perfect for our Wedding day, she was punctual, patient, creative and inspiring! Dani was exceptionally helpful prior to and after the event. Turnaround of photographs was quick and we couldn’t be happier with the finished product! I cannot rate Dani highly enough!

  On July 2, 2011, Erin and I had our commitment ceremony at the beautiful Woodmark Hotel in Kirkland, WA. We were smart to hire Dani Weiss as our photographer and so happy she was not booked that day! Dani captured the day from pre wedding to our departure on the Woodmark's Chris-Craft boat perfectly. We had provided a list of special people and shots we wanted and she took them all while allowing the guests to fully enjoy our celebration. We found Dani from her awesome website and blog and appreciated seeing examples of her work. In December of 2010, Dani took our engagement photos and this ensured that we were very relaxed in the pictures on our wedding day. She was so easy to work with and available for any questions we had in the planning for the ceremony. The pictures we ordered and have given as gifts are beautiful! Thanks, Dani!   This was our second wedding with Dani Weiss Photography. Can't say enough good things about her and the quality of her work! She always made sure the focus was on capturing the event and never about displaying her work. Her work is excellent which speaks for itself. Dani was a lot of fun to work with. She took charge as needed and made use of all opportunities for unique shots. I would recommend her without any hesitation!

  Dani photographed my elopement. She was great! I gave her a little over a months notice and it was no problem. She was available every time I called. She made suggestions that were useful and pertinent to my situation. The day of the wedding, she was punctual. My husband and I feel that she captured the mood of our wedding day perfectly. This was especially important to us because the only glimpse our families got of our special day were through these pictures. I relive that day every time I look at them. I look forward to doing business with Dani in the future!

  Dani photographed our commitment ceremony in September 2010 and she did a great job of capturing the look and feel of the day. In planning our event, we originally wanted an emphasis on "celebration" (vs. ceremony). We held this as an open house with a time-out for us to say a few words and invite a blessing from our families and friends. In short, we wanted someone to document the party and capture the spontaneity of the moment. We were happy with the quality of her work and pleased with the result.
  
  We met with Dani in advance and she showed us her work. She had a lot of examples that seemed to resonate with what we wanted. We're not particularly camera shy, but we originally didn't want a lot of posed pictures--just some fun family groupings. We followed Dani's guidance and had some family picture groupings before the event started. One of Dani's great qualities is her way of "herding cats". She was assertive, but kept things light and relaxed in getting our families in place (not an easy task with a group that doesn't like having their picture taken).
  
  Dani was prepared, professional, and as much "personal assistant" as photographer. She checked in with me and my partner throughout the evening to make sure things were going ok and that we were taking care of ourselves. I'd definitely recommend Dani.

  We chose Dani to photograph our wedding and could not be happier! From my first conversation with Dani, she made me laugh and charmed me with her fun personality. From that point on she was always responsive and available to answer my questions and was incredibly helpful with recommendations.
  
  I quickly realized that with Dani's many years of experience as a wedding photographer, that not only is she an amazing artist, but also full of fabulous wedding advice!! From decisions on color choices & makeup artists to input on our wedding time line, she was right there to help. I loved that Dani would always be direct and honest with me, but with a side kick of humor that just seemed to relax me and make everything fun.
  
  When the wedding day came, Dani was organized and professional and again, incredibly helpful. She captured the fun and beauty of our wedding in photo after photo, from spontaneous moments down to the smallest details, and did not miss a thing.   Dani is a hugely talented and flexible photographer. We just finished making albums and we are delighted with the results! Despite very challenging circumstances (pouring rain for an outdoor wedding and reception) she captured our big day beautifully. She also knows the wedding business inside and out and will give candid advice about just about anything related to weddings. She has a great sense of humor and she's fun to be around. We recommend her highly!

  Dani is amazing. Not only is she a fabulous photographer, she is a very fun person to work with! She is also very organized and and extraordinarily helpful when it comes to putting the details of the wedding together. We planned our wedding from across the country and didn't need a wedding coordinator because Dani was so helpful with every aspect of the event.

  Dani was perfect for our big day! We have a very large family and she was able to efficiently work her way through all the family members and also make everyone laugh for the photos. She was great at taking traditional pictures, but our favorite part was her creative perspective.   From my very first inquiry to the editing process we are in now, working with Dani has been AMAZING! She is extremely attentive and gave us honest feedback when we'd share our ideas. She accommodated us at the last minute to take advantage of a great weather opportunity for our engagement photos. She checked in with us often and kept us on schedule, and, besides her professionalism, she was also so much fun to work with and be around. Her photography was one of only two things that I never worried once about from the moment we were in contract (our caterer was the other).
  Oh yeah, did I mention that she takes incredible photos, too? We love, love, love our photos! We can't wait until we need her services again.

  What I like most about Dani Weiss photography was her flexibility, friendliness, and how fast she was at getting us the finished product! She reviewed all the photos with us after we were done, which was very nice. We ended up in Seattle's The Knot wedding magazine with one of her photos from the wedding, which was pretty nice!

  Dani is a wonderful photographer with a sharp eye! My partner and I had an elopement ceremony at the Salish Lodge a couple of weeks ago and we couldn't have asked for better pictures. She was very prompt with sending the photos to us on a CD (with great instructions on backing up the data) and we were thrilled with them! Her enthusiasm and positive spirit set us at ease from the get-go. She captured some playful pics of us in the lodge as well as some delicate photos outside on the beautiful grounds. Being that it was our first visit to Seattle, she also provided us with some good advice on restaurants and places to visit. I would utilize Dani again in a heartbeat!!   Dani is a real pleasure to work with. During the months before my event she spent a lot of time on the phone with me to discuss the photography which inadvertently led to discussing all of our event plans which she ended up being really helpful with. Out of all of the vendors we worked with, Dani was the easiest to work with; and the most responsive, professional, and helpful.
  
  Her photos were beautiful and she was impressive with corralling and managing large groups of people including small children. I thought I would like B&W, but the colors in the color-photos looked even more amazing than they did in person on a sunny Seattle day! Dani Weiss is a breath of fresh air in the PNW events industry.

  My partner and I did a lot of research and deliberated thoroughly before hiring a photographer for our July 2008 wedding. We were looking for someone who would take excellent photos to tell the story of the day, but it was equally important to us that we find someone with whom we were comfortable, someone who would not be at all squeamish about two men walking down the aisle. We didn't want to break the bank, but we agreed that photography was important enough to be one of our bigger expenses, since the images would shape our memories of the day and last a lifetime.
  
  We found Dani's website online, and then met her the very next day at a wedding show. And we kept running into her! She showed us her work, took the time to meet with us, and really won us over. As I mentioned already, we did interview a number of other photographers but we kept coming back to Dani because of her experience, professionalism, quality and, frankly, her humor.
  
  Leading up to our wedding, she was extremely helpful with reminders and recommendations. About a month before our wedding, I got the idea of doing a large group shot of all of our wedding guests together; Dani and I discussed the pros and cons, and she was very willing to try and make that happen for us (which she did, beautifully).
  
  On the day of the wedding, she and her second shooter were absolute pros, so pleasant, fun and thorough. The photos they took for us do indeed capture the people, details, and both the big and small moments of the day, but the emotion also comes through very strongly--such beautiful and loving shots. Dani was very timely in turning the photos around and posting our website, especially during her busiest time of the year.
  
  We were entirely pleased and would recommend her without hesitation.

  My wife and I really appreciated all of the effort Dani put into being our photographer. She was very accommodating upon our initial meeting by meeting us after hours. She and Melanie captured our BIG Day just perfectly! It was nice to have a second photographer to capture those "in the moment" shots versus the posed ones(which were also nice).

  We were so happy with Dani's work for our wedding. She made sure to get to know us before the wedding and truly dug into what we wanted, the kind of shots we were looking for and the tone that we wanted the photos to show. Our time with her at the wedding was short and she made the most of it. She moved everyone along in a respectful and fun manner, making sure that everyone - from youngest to oldest - felt part of the occasion. The final shots were outstanding and looked lovely on our computer screens and on paper. We are using them as Christmas gifts we love them so much.   I strongly recommend Dani Weiss. She was very easy to talk to and I was confident leading up to the wedding that she understood what was important to us.   Dani recently shot our Seattle wedding, and we are so thrilled that we found her. Her knowledge of both photography and the ins-and-outs of the wedding business proved invaluable.   We got good pictures in all of the key shots even with people that don't usually photograph well. The pictures of the groom and I were especially lovely and the collection of poses. Sweet pictures of all the parents and the kids. Candids of the ceremony were a bit tricky with a small and crowded deck that didn't allow for good angles.
  
  Dani was easy to work with and helped us find ways to work within our photography budget. She was flexible and professional.

  Dani did a great job with my wedding photos overall. She took a wide variety of photos ranging from portraits to little details. We had a large wedding party and we were pressed for time but we managed to get almost all of the photos that I wanted to have for our wedding with exception of one or two photos. It was really fun looking through photos that were taken of parts of the reception that we did not see ourselves. I would definitely recommend Dani as a photographer for your special event, overall she did a great job for the value of her services that she offers, and my husband and I were very happy with our photo selections.

  Dani worked with us very creatively to find a way to work with our budget and help us have great shots from our wedding.
  
  She was able to get good shots even of the family members that never take good photos. We had great family shots of all the groups and of us (the bride and groom). Candids of the wedding itself were a little tricky because of our small and crowded deck, but some good shots there too.

  Terrible. The reason you never see bad reviews is because it's basically impossible anonymously. She's very responsive and nice and prompt but her photos are really not good and she does not listen to the kind of photos you want. We wanted a focus on candids and we got none. The only candids were of other people and we have nothing for our album. And the posed shots were done terribly too. Less flattering than iPhone photos. We are so sad that we have no good photos from our event.
