We loved Dancing Stems Design
Working with Holly at Dancing Stems was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We were absolutely obsessed with our flowers!
She completely nailed the vision I had and was incredibly collaborative throughout the entire process - reworking and refining the design as many times as I needed without hesitation. She also made a real effort to stay within our budget and even helped us cut costs toward the end when we needed to scale back, thoughtfully adjusting things like moving ceremony florals inside to bar areas and incorporating greenery in creative ways that still felt intentional and beautiful.
Holly also remembered all the little details I almost forgot (like florals for our flat lays and flower girl petals) which made such a difference leading up to the day.
Out of all our vendors, she was easily one of the most responsive, organized, and dependable. She didn’t just do florals; she helped transform the entire atmosphere of our 3 part venue (ceremony, cocktail & reception area), including candles and overall table styling to match the mood we were going for. We loved her free-flowing, wild, ikebana-inspired design style.
Other florists with a similar aesthetic quoted us at least 30%+ more (nearly $5K more) for even fewer flowers, so the value was incredible as well.
We would absolutely choose her again and recommend her to anyone without hesitation. -

Wedding florals of my dreams
Holly created the most magical florals for our wedding! I am so impressed with how Holly was able to take our inspiration and turn it into something I couldn’t have imagined! We received so many compliments on the florals and I even had people tell me that they took photos and inspiration for their own wedding. We are so impressed with the florals and how easy it was to work with Holly. She is truly a joy and has such a great eye! Thank you so much Holly! -

We worked with Holly as our wedding florist and she was wonderful to work with! She was very responsive and accomodating to make our floral vision come to life. We needed bud vases last minute for our rehearsal dinner and she was flexible in providing those as an add-on as well. Would highly recommend! -

Color, elegance, and grace
I was so grateful to find Holly, thanks to a recommendation from our photographer. After I reached out, she prepared a stunning, professional proposal for me in 24-hours that captured my vision for pastel, flower garden florals and stuck to my budget. Working with her felt like having an expert floral advisor who was in my corner and never trying to up-sell me. She made excellent recommendations to achieve the effect and atmosphere I wanted, with clarity on pricing every step of the way. She even took the time to do a walk-through of the venue with my mom and me a few weeks before the wedding to refine our plan, which I felt went above and beyond what most vendors offer. The day-of result was beautiful, from the bouquets, to the arch, to the table-scapes. Holly is so gracious with an amazing eye--you'll love working with her! -

We are so grateful that we hired Holly and Dancing Stems Design for our April 2025 wedding at Rule of Thirds in Brooklyn! Holly is kind, professional, and extremely responsive over email. I had an overall idea of the colors/look I had in mind but was otherwise very happy to have her execute the florals in the way she deemed best, and they turned out amazing!! She was also very flexible at making small adjustments to our floral plan when necessary, whether I was adding another centerpiece or adjusting the amount of smaller pieces we needed due to a change in guest count. I also appreciate her commitment to sustainability in using seasonal florals and composting. So many of our guests and even some of our vendors commented on how beautiful the flowers were. We're so glad we worked with Holly for our wedding at Museum of the Moving Image. She was so friendly from the start and was always super fast at communicating with us. We had seen she was a local florist and really loved her style in putting pieces together. We had a rough idea of colour palettes for the wedding but that quickly went out the window when my wife found a dinner plate she loved and Holly adapted so well to match the florals with the plate's colours. Her reference boards were really helpful in helping us see it all come together.
On the day was so seamless, we were getting ready and all of a sudden the flowers are all there and on the stage and beautiful, the colours popped so well in the venue and complimented the plate so well. The flowers were better than anything we could have ever expected. Holly is super talented and professional, she worked within our budget throughout, we thoroughly recommend her for any wedding or event you may have, you won't be disappointed! -

Holly is truly a miracle worker. Holly was with me every step of the way in designing the floral plan and really made me feel heard when we discussed the vision we had together. She went above and beyond my expectations! The flowers were absolutely stunning and made the wedding, both for the ceremony and she made an amazing table design and satellite fixtures for our reception. You can tell how much she cares about you as a bride and wants to make your day special for you. I could not recommend dancing stems highly enough!!! -

Working with Holly was an absolute dream!
After hours and hours of scouring Pinterest, my head was spinning. My “vision” was blurry and I needed help ASAP!
There are so many options out there and Holly took the time to help curate the most exquisite flowers—listening to my LONG list of requests and providing helpful advice along the way.
Holly was a pleasure to work with. From her industry expertise and extensive botany knowledge, we were able to source blooms that fit my aesthetic and most importantly, my budget.
