We can’t say enough amazing things about Dylan. We had a last minute fall out and booked him 6 days before our wedding. He was super fast to respond, was able to accommodate all of our requests, and brought such high energy to our wedding. He worked amazingly with our sax player Brian Pierini. DJ Mark absolutely killed it and was incredibly hospitable and professional from start to finish and never skipped a beat (pun intended).
We were extremely last minute in booking, yet he made it feel seamless and worked with us on our timeline. He was extremely reassuring to my wife about our dances and overall everything, which I really appreciated.
Also, DJ Mark has some serious Swag, his presence in of itself, elevated our reception. He played everything on our Must Plays, got everyone moving on the Dance Floor, and incorporated music from both my side and my wife’s side of the family and truly brought everyone together. I got MULTIPLE comments from our guests such as: “The DJ is so cool!” Or “He was awesome!” He made an incredible impression on everyone, and he even got me and my Dad dancing together to DMX, one of his favorites.
DJ Mark and DancingDJProductions are the BEST in San Diego, hands down. If you don’t want to live with regret for the rest of your life, you should take my genuine advice and book with them immediately, you absolutely will not regret it.

DJ Dylan G. Bowley was an amazing DJ for our wedding. We’re so glad that we chose him because the experience from start to finish was well guided and he understood the assignment and executed. We were able to meet virtually and he was very responsive throughout the whole process. Our coordinator had actually recommended him, but what gravitated us towards his style was his skill in mixing after listening to his samples. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed and noticed his skills during the reception. He was also familiar with the venue so everything just went to plan. From start to finish, the Dancing DJ team made planning my daughter's wedding music simple and stress-free. The portal was easy to use, and the reminders and updates from the office were always clear and helpful.
The photo booth attendant did a great job. Our guests enjoyed that experience a lot, and the album is a wonderful keepsake.
Last but definitely not least, our DJ, Kaleb, was truly awesome! We were so impressed with the time he took to get to know the bride and groom, and by the efforts he made to be sure that every aspect of the night was exactly what they wanted. DJ Jimn is the best! We found dancing DJs through a preferred vendor list and selected them because of the price and ease of the process. The first time we met with Jimn, he put my mind at ease and helped make a more cohesive plan for the music. He perfectly captured the vibe we were hoping for and it really was the dance party of our dreams. We have had several guests come to us and say we had the best DJ and we absolutely agree! For the amount I paid for this service, I was extremely happy with the professionalism and overall vibe from DJ Erin. I didnt have a wedding coordinator so having him check in with me every so often to confirm schedule was a great way to keep us both on track. Dancing DJ Productions comes highly recommended and reviewed for a reason. They have so many DJs and take the time to match you with a DJ that matches your style/vibe and what you are looking for. We were matched with DJ Dylan after a tragic accident with our first DJ (Kelsey). He stepped right in with ease and was so great to work with. We felt like we had a lot of things for him to accomplish for us and he ABSOLUTELY NAILED IT. From emceeing and doing our multiple announcements throughout the night, nailed our 90s cartoon theme song mash up, and keeping the dance floor full all night long. Our guests were so happy with Dylan and the vibe he brought to our wedding. We also used them for our Photo Booth and could not recommend more. They have several other options (like monogram gobo lighting, uprights, etc.) and I really feel like they were a great one stop shop for so many things. Thank you DJ Dylan and Dancing DJ productions for truly making our wedding the best night ever! -

We had a fabulous wedding, and DJ Valen was an incredible partner from start to finish. She made planning easy and fun, guided us in choosing meaningful songs for each moment, and absolutely nailed the vibe on the day. Multiple guests told us how perfectly she curated a lively, danceable atmosphere—our dance floor was full from the first song to the last. She even got everyone dancing the hora (most of our guests were non-Jewish and new to it!) with clear cues and great energy. We felt completely at ease and well taken care of the entire time. DJ Kaleb was an incredible DJ at our wedding! It’s refreshing to meet someone who is so passionate about what they do. And he is clearly an expert in the world of weddings. We met early on to have a consultation and he had wonderful suggestions for providing high quality sound for our wedding ceremony and reception. Everyone could hear our officiants, singers, and readers perfectly, and we were even able to record audio directly from his soundboard for our videographer, as well. He was an engaging and organized emcee for our reception and understood the music we wanted to play throughout the evening. And I can’t stress enough how fun the Shoe Game was for our wedding guests. Highly recommend DJ Kaleb for your wedding or special event! -

DJ Carlos understood the vibe we wanted for our wedding day. The music selection was fantastic and the transitions fun and seamless. Our experience with this company was excellent on all fronts. While planning our wedding, we had clear and efficient communication with both Kimberly (for the photobooth) and Nicole (for the DJ plans). Nicole responded to all our emails crazy fast at all hours of the day (really hoping she sleeps at some point! haha), and she even looked into the possibility of a bilingual photobooth operator for us. Our wedding guests had an excellent time with the photobooth; I’m told there was a line for most of the night. Overall, both Nicole and Kimberly were excellent to work with.
The real star of the show, however, was DJ Ukeim! On our first call with him, we liked how easy he was to talk to and how he clearly exuded a lowkey confidence in his own skills and abilities. As soon as we hung up, my (now) husband and I were instantly in agreement that he was our choice! He took all of our input on requested songs and put together what one guest called a “fire playlist” that had people, including the groom, on the dance floor all night long. There was never a dull moment and we could tell that our guests had so much fun! He also made a point to take a few photos/videos from his vantage point, which I thought was really sweet. Even his aesthetic was on point! I saw him outside as I arrived at the venue and my immediate thought was that he just looked so cool and classy at the same time. Ukeim was worth every penny, and we will happily recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for any event! -

We had the absolute best experience with Carlos as our DJ for our wedding at Grand Tradition Estate and Gardens. From the very beginning, the company’s process was smooth, organized, and incredibly personalized. The one-on-one meeting with Carlos made such a difference—he went through every detail with us, making sure the music, vibe, and timeline were exactly what we envisioned.
We also loved the app they use. It was so easy to pick the songs we wanted, organize must-plays and do-not-plays, and even allow our guests to submit requests ahead of time. It made the whole planning process fun and stress-free.
And on the big day? Carlos absolutely delivered. The energy was perfect, the transitions were seamless, and he kept the dance floor full all night long. He read the room effortlessly and made every moment—from the ceremony to the last song—feel magical.
Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had, and so much of that is thanks to Carlos. If you want a DJ who listens, plans with intention, uses great tools, and knows how to throw an unforgettable party, he’s the one.

My partner and I chose Dancing DJs and DJ Jimn to provide the music for our wedding ceremony and reception. We loved the wedding planning features they had on their website which allowed us to create a timeline for the event, individually list songs for key moments (first dance, grand entrance, parent dances, etc.) and begin creating lists of songs for cocktail hour, dinner and the reception. DJ Jimn was super friendly and available to chat with us in the weeks leading up to the big day. He used his experience and the recommendations we provided via the song list to create some wonderful playlists and keep the energy up on the dance floor all night long for the reception. He had experience with our venue and was receptive to our ideas so when the wedding day finally came, everything went incredibly smooth. We would happily recommend DJ Jimn and Dancing DJs to anyone in need of music for their wedding or event. -

This review is for DJ Erin. First off, thank you Erin for being our wedding emcee and DJ.
When we selected Dancing DJ Productions as our preferred DJ vendor, we were not sure which DJ would be assigned to us, and truthfully, we didn't have any expectations. However, from meeting Erin, working with him leading up to the wedding, his flexibility and professionalism the day of the wedding, and his ability to read the crowd from both the perspective as an emcee and DJ blew us out of the water.
I want to first start and highlight the comfort with our first meeting - We got to know Erin more personally as we shared a bit about ourselves. His personality is very upbeat and we instantly knew Erin was the one. Moving forward was fairly standard - Dancing DJ shared with us a website where we input all our information (do not play lists, must play lists, schedule, required songs for first dance, announcements and introductions as an emcee, etc). We met with Erin a few weeks prior to our wedding and voiced some of our concerns that we experienced with DJs at recent weddings we attended, and he quickly and confidently addressed all our concerns. Fast forward to the wedding day. Our first touchpoint with Erin was to practice our first dance on the dance floor - He played and re-played the song multiple times as we messed up frequently doing practice. Then came our grand entrance - His strong emcee voice and timing of the song went perfectly. Instantly he transitioned to our first dance song, along with father/daughter and mother/son dances. Each point along the way was a seamless transition. He touched based with us frequently, constantly communicated and coordinated with our wedding coordinator as our schedule got off track, was incredibly flexible as the night progressed, and most importantly read the dance floor and kept the dance floor going till the very end.
Long story short, if you choose to select Dancing DJ and specifically DJ Erin as your DJ vendor, you will have absolute confidence that Erin will ensure your wedding runs smooth, seamlessly, and joyously till the very end. -

We cannot recommend Will enough! From start to finish, he absolutely nailed the flow of our entire day and evening. He kept the energy just right through every transition, making sure the vibe matched each moment perfectly. When we had a slight medical emergency during the reception, Will handled it with such thoughtfulness and professionalism—adjusting the music seamlessly so guests felt comfortable and calm. Once everything was fine (thankfully!), he brought the energy back up without missing a beat.
The dance floor was full the entire night, and we honestly don’t think there was a single moment it was empty. Will’s ability to read the room, keep the energy alive, and make everyone feel part of the celebration was truly exceptional. Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without him, and we’re so grateful he was part of our day! -

DJ Grande (JP Martinez) was hands down the BEST DJ we could have ever hired. I really wanted someone who was bilingual and could keep the energy up and HE DELIVERED!
Prior to the wedding, JP and I had a call where I asked him for advice on certain songs and wanted to make sure that the details were finalized and he did such a great job documenting everything, providing recommendations, and making me feel at ease. He was extremely responsive leading up to the day of the wedding.
They day of, I was so happy with every detail! He kept the energy up all night long and I received SO MANY compliments on the music and the flow of it. I don't think we stopped dancing for hours. I didn't have to worry about the mics working during the ceremony or when the music would fade in and out - he handled all that and made it so easy for me to enjoy my day.
JP is your guy if you're looking for someone who is super organized, extremely friendly, and knows what he is doing! I would hire DJ Grande again and again for all my future events!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH JP!!! -

Eric was the DJ for our wedding at the Thursday Club in Point Loma. He was so warm and friendly during our meetings and he made sure he was available for as many live conversations as we wanted. He spent meaningful time understanding the tone of our event and our crowd. His prep work paid off and our guests absolutely loved the music - he read the room beautifully. We received requests for his playlist and contact info because everyone danced the night away! -

One of the most important things for us was having a wedding reception where the dance floor was full and people were having a great time all night long. We were worried about finding a DJ who could pull that off, but DJ Sammy was the definition of perfection. Our pre-call with him was amazing, and we could tell he understood the vibe we were going for. We felt confident going into the night, but even our highest expectations were blown away with the way he ensured that everyone had a great time. I picked up on a few tricks of the trade he does that I’ve never seen another DJ do before, and they made a huge difference compared to other weddings I’ve been to. He even took the time to do a special cut in one of the songs we requested, which blew me away with his attention to detail. Although I’m limited to 5 stars in this review, I would literally give him every single star in every single solar system in the sky for how happy we were with his DJing services. Hire him, and rest assured that your evening will be perfect. -

I used this company for my dj, Photo Booth, lighting and cold sparklers for my wedding at Bal Hai and I was 10/10 happy with their services! I paid extra to have an attendant stay so I could use the cold sparklers multiple times which was great! Him and the photo booth attendant were both very kind and easy to work with. DJ Erin was fantastic! I had some technical issues with the website not allowing me to add my songs online but after our phone calls I felt like I could trust him and was able to share my Spotify playlist to him which made my life so much earlier and less stressful. He edited a song for me perfectly for my walk down the aisle and was always quick to respond ahead of the wedding if I had a question. I very much would trust this company in the future and I wouldn’t change one tiny thing about my wedding! A dj can make or break a party and he made mine! I got lots of compliments about the music selection and variety of songs and genres that were played. Also Nicole made my planning process very easy and was always quick to respond to questions via email as well. -

Dancing DJ Productions was a fantastic choice for our wedding entertainment. From the start, DJ Sass was fun, energetic, communicative, and friendly in her interactions with us. We gave her some initial playlists for different parts of the event, and she expanded on those wonderfully and we got lots of positive comments. The planning process with Dancing DJ Productions was very easy thanks to Will's communication and being able to meet with our DJ, Dylan G-Bowley. Dylan worked with us on our play list and worked in everything we asked for.

Our wedding day was the best day of our lives. A big part of what made this day so amazing was due to the work of DJ Bryce. My wife and I love dancing and DJ Bryce made sure there was never a dull moment on the dance floor. He was fantastic in all aspects of his duties. He truly understood our vision for the music of every portion of our wedding from cocktail hour to dinner to partying. He really put forth what we had discussed with him and executed it even better than we could imagine. He was great at communicating with us throughout the day and made sure everything went smoothly. Working with Dancing DJ Productions was one of the easiest parts of planning my wedding. They were on my venue's Preferred Vendors list, and now I know why! Nicole (the office manager) was quick to respond to my inquiry, all my follow-up questions were answered promptly and fully, and the package pricing is competitive and transparent. Once you lock in details, you are granted access to an online planning portal that is super helpful for planning the entire event. We were assigned DJ Danny, and he was an absolute gem. He met with us prior to the wedding day so that he could make sure he understood our vision fully. On the day of, he was a large part of why I didn't have to worry about anything. He kept the vibes light and fun while also keeping the whole event on schedule. He's very professional, and you can tell he loves what he does. I'd recommend Dancing DJ Productions (specifically DJ Danny) in a heartbeat. -

My husband and I hired Dancing DJ Productions for our wedding this past April. DJ Kaleb was AMAZING. From the start, communication was easy and prompt. Kaleb was very knowledgable and experienced which was evident from the first meeting. The online portal made it easy for us to let him know what songs were priority to us. During our final phone meeting, Kaleb understood all our requests for songs, vibes, and overall feel of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Our guests loved the music and the dance floor was a hit all night! We would hire DJ Kaleb again!
