We cannot overstate how much we loved working with John and Cyndi. From the first meeting we could tell they are very experienced and love what they do. They genuinely cared about making our wedding great and man John came through! We've been to many weddings and never had a MC/DJ like John, the music created the right ambiance at all times and John had so many tricks up his sleeves to rally up a great mood for our guests, he had us cracking up all day! John made a world of difference for our wedding, we were so lucky to have found him and you would be too! -

I am so happy to have found John & Dance Syndicate a few years ago and use him and Mark for all of our events. Our last event had almost 300 people and John was wonderful. I cannot say enough great things about my experience, booking them was the best decision I could have made. From our first meeting with John & Cyndi, we knew they were the perfect fit for us and were ready to make sure that our special day was everything we dreamed of, and they did not disappoint. Leading up to the wedding they made sure that our timeline was in perfect order and ready to share with all others needed. They communicated to all other parties to make sure everything was in order, and I just felt so relieved that I was not having to stress about any of it. Wedding Day... It was perfect! John did everything as imaged and more. A month later and everyone is still talking about how amazing and fun our wedding was, and that is all thanks to John. Best decision I made was to book them! Working with them both was an absolute pleasure. -

John was our DJ for our wedding at the LA County Arboretum on 7/9/23. We had booked live music for the ceremony and the cocktail hour and Carlos at the Arboretum recommended Dance Syndicate for the dancefloor. We're so happy he did!
We had a lunch meeting with John and his wife Cindy and immediately clicked. They were incredibly personable, had all sorts of templates to help with planning, and were quick to give recommendations when we were walking through the music we liked. Our playlist was pretty eclectic and John did a great job making it flow and getting the crowd going.
John and Cindy were very on top of all communication and super helpful in figuring out tiny details. They jumped in to help us plan a mother-son polka that was a big hit. They even took special care to play certain songs in honor of my parents, who have passed away, at specific points in the night. They also get MASSIVE points for playing the Dropkick Murphys and Sweet Caroline without being asked - my big Boston family loved it!
John was even kind enough to help our friends playing the ceremony and cocktail hour with their equipment, and act as an MC throughout the night. We couldn't recommend Dance Syndicate more! -

John Villa is more than just a DJ. He brings positive vibes with him wherever he goes. He brings the right kind of atmosphere to the party. He's encouraging and soulful. It doesn't hurt that he hits those sound effects buttons at the right time every time. We want to start by saying that Dance Syndicate is a phenomenal team. Johnny & Cyndi made a genuine effort to get to know us and execute our vision to capture the vibe we wanted for our wedding. Johnny is a true master of ceremonies. He did a fantastic job of directing the energy of the night. He was quick and adaptable to our timeline and the setbacks that inevitably arise, no matter how much time and planning you put into an event. It ended up raining on our wedding night while being outdoors. All of our guests were embracing the rain and dancing the night away, and Johnny put on “It’s Raining Men,” which was hilarious and so fitting. He kept the momentum going, and there wasn’t a single person not out moving on the dance floor. Everyone had a blast!
It truly makes a difference to have someone who authentically cares, along with having the confidence and intuition needed to read the room and keep the party going. Johnny is that person! He had great instincts when choosing the order of songs to keep the pace and the energy of the evening moving along in the right way. Cyndi was an integral part of the planning. She didn’t miss a single detail and was readily available if we had any questions, concerns, or song change requests related to our timeline.
Cyndi and Johnny are incredibly charismatic human beings, and it was a pleasure to work with them. We cannot recommend and rave more about them and how extremely grateful we were to have their outstanding services be a part of our special day. -

John and Cyndi were an absolute joy to work with when compiling the music and overall "vibe" of our wedding. They understood exactly what were looking for and even threw in suggestions that elevated what we had in mind! John went above and beyond to accommodate us. He was the first vendor we spoke to, and the last one we said goodbye to on the big night. Every meeting with John left my wife and I more and more excited about the big day, and he delivered to an amazing degree. His music kept everyone dancing and his MCing kept our entire schedule smooth. I cannot recommend this DJ more! -

DJ John and his wife Cyndi are the best! They drove over an hour for our first meeting and really made wedding planning fun. John went above and beyond figuring out what kind of music we liked, listening to lengthy Spotify playlists that we had made and including all of it during the reception. He’s excellent at knowing what to play to get your guests onto the dance floor, people were dancing all night! -

John and Cyndi are so amazing. I planned our wedding in about 2 months and I was so stressed out before speaking with them. After our first phone conversation I started feeling so much better! They had the perfect time line for the wedding, and had things I haden't even thought of yet!
Where our wedding was held at a hotel that normally doesn't host the ceremony but did for us. At our rehearsal, John and Cyndi took the lead because the hotel staff dont typically run the rehearsals.
They were such a big help the day of! Our ceromony was supposed to be outside but due to rain we had to move indoors. Super felxible with that last minute switch.
So friendly with everyone at the wedding. I am still getting told the music was so great and everyone had such a great time. The dance floor was never empty. I have already refered them to a friend getting married later this year. 100/10 recommend!!!! -

Absolutely Fantastic!
John and Cyndi were so friendly and easy to work with. They're organized, flexible, communicative, and friendly. They worked super well with all of our other vendors to create a seamless experience for us and for our guests. John did a fantastic job of combining our musical tastes with the energy he read from our guests that night, and his engagement with the guests (as well as his attentiveness to the schedule and flow throughout the night) made the perfect party for everyone! I recommend him to anyone and everyone considering a DJ for their wedding! -
