Dana's story of our wedding is remarkable. Dana was invisible and we don't know how she got some of these pictures. I can't imagine loving these pictures any more. Very happy with Dana's service. -

We planned a tight budget for our wedding and did not think we could afford Dana. We did spend more than anticipated but this may have to be the best decision we made for our wedding. Dana could not have been better to work with and her pictures blow us away. They are real and the quality is Wow! -

My husband and I were lucky enough to book Dana for our wedding this past July. When I say wedding, I really mean two separate ceremonies, across two days, and two distinct traditions. Dana was a complete joy to work with from the start. She was one of the first vendors we booked and as such we really had no idea what to expect or how to start the ball rolling. In short, we were a bit overwhelmed and underprepared. Dana helped us plan our entire event timeline, choose our groupings, and then optimize the photography coverage across the two different ceremonies and receptions. She is extremely organized and knowledgeable about her craft so we had complete confidence in her going into our wedding weekend.
Then we received our photos. To say that we are blown away would be an understatement. Each photo is truly a work of art and captured a real (emphasis here) moment between our loved ones over the weekend. Our families and friends truly cannot stop gushing over them. As one of our family friends put it, "Those are the most stunning, joyful wedding photos!" I cannot agree more.

Dana came to our home to do a family portrait. Not only were the results beautiful, but she was sweet, easy to work with, and made our time together so much fun. I was amazed how she was able to use the camera to truly capture our family at this point in our lives. I only wish that I had worked with her sooner to capture kids at earlier ages. Everyone said I would never look at my wedding album but clearly they didn't have Dana as their photographer! Dana captured the spirit of my wedding in the most genuine and authentic way. She is not the wedding photographer for you if you want posed cheesy group shots and stills BUT if you want an artist who incorporates herself seamlessly into your day and creates keepsakes that can bring you back in an instant then Dana is the one for you. -

I can't say enough great things about Dana. If you want someone to capture the joy and special moments of your wedding in a way that is uniquely your own, she's the person to do it. She got to know my husband and I, and from there, just took the photos from our wedding to something I never expected. She's wonderful to work with, totally unobtrusive on the day, and yet somehow finds the special details and little moments that become the treasure that wedding photography is supposed to be. Seriously, I sometimes consider that if anything were to happen to my house - I would first get the kids and the dogs, and then my wedding album. That's how much I love about what she captured on our day - which was 7 years ago - and I still feel this way. I can't say enough nice things about working with her - it was a joy and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for their wedding photographer/photography to make them happy for years to come. -

We searched high and low for the "right" photographer and the instant we sat down with Dana we knew immediately she was "the one." From her professionalism both in and out of the studio, to the museum like quality of her work, and her care for our needs and wants as individuals, we're lucky she is based in Rhode Island because lesser photographers in New York or London would be booked solid year round. If I had the ability, I would have every single professional photo I ever need taken by her for the rest of my life. We literally cannot recommend her highly enough. She is worth every penny, and honestly probably more. -

Photography was a wedding day priority for us - we wanted something very special. Dana really took the time to listen, explain options, and personalize both pre- and post-. I had the feeling she took our day as seriously as she would her own wedding. She even pssst me to fix my strapless dress at one point so I didn't end up with PG-13 reception dance pix! When it came to our album, she was prepared with opinions, observations, and ideas, but not at all intrusive in her direction. We loved the finished product and now 6 years later as we are expecting our first child I am busy scheming ways to get her involved with baby photos! -

It was an anguishing day when the photographer of my dreams had double booked for my wedding and called to cancel. That's when Dana stepped in and saved the day. Not only was she better than the "photographer of my dreams," she was better than any photographer I could ever dream of! Her photos, now framed, grace not only my husband and my tabletops 10 years later, but also the table tops of family and friends all over the country who like me, love her work, and are thankful for the memories she has enshrined in our hearts. -

Dana did an amazing job at our son's baptism. All the pictures were great but there were some that captured all of the tenderness and love of the moment. She is not the conventional /commercial photographer and we are grateful for that. She is not 'Hollywood', she is the equivalent of American independent filmmaking. Dana is amazing! She is a wonderful and extremely talented photographer. Her approach is so unobtrusive that at times I forgot she was there, but she still managed to get every shot. The results were amazing and I cherish my wedding photos. My fifth anniversary is approaching and I still look at my album frequently and I love showing it off !
I highly recommend Dana! -

Dana did an amazing job of capturing the joy and love of our wedding. She listened to what we wanted, and took amazing pictures of every stage of the day. Interestingly enough, as I remember our wedding day, I don't remember seeing Dana - she wasn't in our face, yet she caught everything! We had so much fun working with her, and she helped us put together gorgeous albums that have become some of our most treasured keepsakes. Dana is an incredible photographer, and a lovely person. Any bride and groom (or bride and bride or groom and groom) would be lucky to work with her! -

Dana was the ultimate professional throughout our wedding process- always responsive, very well-prepared, knowledgeable, creative, fun, and genuinely excited for us too. Moreover, Dana's talent is just a gift! With our second anniversary approaching, we recently sat down with our beautiful wedding album, and all the feelings from our wedding day just came flooding back- the excitement, the nervousness, the anxious anticipation, the near-bursting-at-the-seams feelings of love and joy. And that's what Dana's photos do-- they allow you to experience the special moments in life again and again. -

Dana was amazing to work with! She gave us back our amazing moments and memories in every picture she took and in those images we will never forget how beautiful and loving our day was. She was always there before during and after our wedding. I look at our photos all the time and say to myself ''finally someone capturwd who we really are!" The more weddings I go to, the more I realize how phenomenal Dana was as our photographer. She gave us exactly what we asked for, as well as what we didn't even know we wanted at the time! Very professional and worth every single penny. I am looking forward to hiring her again in the future for other occasions, as she will most definitely capture the moment. -

Dana was wonderful to work with from the moment we met her. When the time came, she was a force behind that camera! She adhered to and respected all of our wishes and also offered wonderful advice that made a huge positive difference in the flow of the day - whether in certain angles or capturing unexpected moments. I'm still in awe of how the vibe of the wedding came through the pictures, and how she froze in time some of the most elusive, emotional moments from my family members and myself. I'm so happy I found her! -

Dana was fantastic from beginning to end. She listened and put me at ease in the planning process and then blew me away with the resulting pictures. If you're looking for over-filtered photos, or cliche stuff you see on every bride's board on Pinterest, Dana may not be for you. But if you're looking someone who will capture the beauty and raw emotion of the day - (and you won't even know she's there while doing so) - and who'll take pictures that will always look CLASSIC and artful and original - Dana is for you. And PS, somehow she got perfect pictures of our beloved - but REAL fidgety - dog. Now that's talent! -

Dana is awesome! She has a relaxed, comfortable, artistic style that translates from her personality into her photographs. The whole family enjoyed working with her and the photos we have from my son's bar mitzvah are beautiful. She put us at ease during a potentially stressful day and helped bring out our best selves, and she captured moments on film that I honestly think I missed in real life! I would - and will - use her again for big and small events, and I would recommend her highly to others. -
