    Dan and Rachel were excellent to work with. From the very beginning and first meeting they were professional, flexible, and friendly. Their great personalities were what really sold us on them, and their work was phenominal. They worked with us on doing a pre-bridal shoot, and that was the best decision that my husband and I could have made; it allowed us to get amazing pictures and really capture our personalities and love for eachother. Both of them were so much help on the actual wedding day, and captured so many moments that we will have to cherish forever.

    Dan and Rachel are really amazing to work with!! They were there for us from the beginning plans and always responded to each and every one of my questions quickly and with amazing ideas!!! The value is AMAZING and I really couldn't find anyone with a better price in the area, they even traveled to Iowa City from Cedar Falls for our special day! The price we paid for our entire package included an engagement session and then after the wedding they will do family photos for life!! It's really nice to be able to build a bond with a photographer because to me pictures are the perfect way to display precious memories!

    Dan and Rachel are really amazing to work with from the first time that I met them. I told them that photographing the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner were just as important to me as the wedding day itself and they were able to accomodate without any questions. They were there for Nathan and I from the beginning as they were very flexible as we drove them around NE Iowa for our engagement pics. :) The value is AMAZING and we really couldn't find anyone with a better price in the area. Pricing was reasonable and finding the right photographer was really important to us. Rachel is amazing as well as she really takes on a responsibility that isn't hers to help the bride with whatever is needed on her special day. It's really nice to be able to build a bond with your photographer because to me pictures are the perfect way to display precious memories! Thanks again! Dan and Rachel will definitely be recommended to friends and family in the future. :)

    Dan and Rachel helped us from beginning to end to make sure our wedding day was everything we could ask for. They were always accessible and they made it easy for us to recommend them to friends and family.

    I knew Dan Phillips Photography was the one for me. Dan & I went to High School together and he did photography in High School. Dan & Rachel are very Professional and know all the latest trends when it comes to Photography. I had plenty of photos to chose from and the quality of the photos is unmatched by others. I had many compliments by family and friends on Dan & Rachel, everyone kept telling me how nice they were and they were impressed that they stayed with us the whole day and both of them were taking pictures to ensure they captured every moment. I could not be happier with my wedding photos and will definately use them again in the future for family pics. and such! :)

    Dan and Rachel did a great job with our wedding. They went above and beyond what we expected of them and I have photos that I am very pleased with.

    Dan and Rachel are very quick to respond to any emails or phone calls. They include a lot in their packages that other photographers don't. It's also great that both of them work together to take pictures, so you don't just rely on one camera. We were very happy with their services.

    The photography was the biggest regret I have from my wedding. We didn't use Dan and Rachel for our engagement pics since those were done in a different state. Dan and Rachel were extremely nice and friendly and we had one consultation with them before the wedding. We got the Digital Only package ($2800) but swapped the engagement session for full reception coverage. However, they left about an hour before the reception ended. They took pictures of the major events (cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc) but left before our exit, which we wanted pictures of. The pictures (about 450 total which seems low for 2 shooters over 9 hours) were good quality. However, I should have told them exactly which pictures I wanted (with whom and what pose), but I thought that was the point of hiring a professional. Creativity was lacking. We didn't get many getting-ready pictures and I had to suggest taking a picture of all the dresses before we put them on. I also suggested places to take the pictures. Most of the poses are the same and there isn't much variety. We didn't get any "fun" pictures of us and the wedding party. I only have one picture with just my mom and I, and only two pictures with just my sister (the maid of honor). I didn't even get one picture with only my father and I. I was disappointed by the time the night ended and wished I had given them pictures from pinterest and told them to replicate those. I thought that was the professional's job but I guess I should have been more assertive.

    Pictures turned out good but quality didn't match the pricing. Wish this company would focus more on their images and less on marketing. They have good pictures but you'd never know it by visiting their site or Facebook page
