Great Experience with DJ Dan

Dan was a great choice to DJ our wedding. From the initial introduction zoom call, to working with my parents on a surprise recording, to putting together a collection of songs for my husbands culture, he was fantastic every step of the way. My main goal for my wedding was to have the dance floor busy and uninterrupted - he truly made that happen.

Best music ever!

Dan was the DJ for my brother’s wedding several years ago and we had an amazing time, so we knew he was a great candidate for our 2022 wedding. The music had everyone on the dance floor the entire night! I got so many compliments for choosing Dan as the DJ! He has a ton of experience and knows the perfect song choices. He also offers a photo booth, which my guests loved!

Unbelievable! Everyone danced the night away

Dan had been the d.j. at two of my cousin's weddings, so it was an easy to decision to hire him for ours. First off, Dan's level of preparedness and professionalism is unreal. He has back ups for everything, timelines, phonetic name pronunciations, etc. Dan provided the music and microphones for the ceremony and then flawless executed the reception. He said everyone's name correctly, hyped up the guests, and had everyone dancing all night long. Dan worked with the list of songs we wanted and arranged them and add in some choices of his as he felt out the crowd. It was so much fun! Everyone was so impressed!

Dan was incredible! He did a great job the day-of, played the songs we requested and great complimentary songs, and kept the guests on the dance floor! He really got a sense of who we were and what we wanted, and was very laid back and easy to work with. He gave us a great night, and everyone loved his music! Thanks so much, Dan!

Dan was absolutely perfect! We made a lot of decisions regarding the ceremony music and cocktail hour but we left the rest of the night pretty much up to him. He gave us great ideas for the introduction songs and he did an amazing job with all the dance music. We just made one request that we didn't want techno or an overload of top 40 music. What he played was exactly the right mix. I still have the "older crowd" telling me he was fantatic and the "younger crowd" telling me that it was the best music they have ever heard at a wedding.

He also did our lighting which was gorgeous, he also did it a much more reasonable price than our venue. If you're debating lighting, go for it. He made the place look amazing and I still get compliments on it.

Dan is an incredible DJ! I can't say enough about him! He is very responsive over email, listens to all of your ideas and truthfully lets you know that you may be making a bad decision on a song choice :) Everyone danced the entire night away. After my wedding, everyone told me that he loved our DJ. He does an amazing job finishing the night too! We also used Dan for uplighting which looked great- he changes the uplighting to match fast songs- it was awesome. He took any and all requests all night and truly wants to make your wedding special. I would recommend him to anyone!

My husband and I agree--the best investment we made in our wedding planning. The nicest, most flexible vendor we worked with. Let us customize EVERYTHING! LOVED him!

I would highly recommend Dan for any couple looking for their wedding DJ! A friend of mine had used him for her wedding, we thought he was so great that we hired him for our own. He does a great job of keeping the dance floor packed all night and most importantly he is not the obnoxious showy type. We kept our request list short and trusted him to play a good mix to keep people dancing, which he definitely did. I also thought he was very affordable compared to some other DJ services out there.

Dan is one of the best DJs I've ever seen at any event. He's great about incorporating your song preferences into a mix that will keep people dancing all night. He played songs that we had forgotten we loved based on the requests we had given him. I highly recommend keeping your request list short as he is an expert at picking out what the crowd wants to hear. Great to work with and always quick to respond to e-mails.

Dan McCarthy was fantastic! I was worried about the music for our wedding because the guests would be a mixed bag of older and younger guests. Dan played a great mix of older and newer music so EVERYONE danced and had a great time! I would highly recommend Dan to any Bride and Groom looking for a wedding DJ!

Dan McCarthy was the best. We met with him twice and he knows his music! I wanted a specific song to dance with my dad and he made the best suggestion. He was able to jugle portuguese, latin and american music so well. Our guests were dancing the whole night. Everyone was very impressed by him. Highly, highly recommend him ... if you want your guests / crowd to be dancing the whole night. I hope Im able to use him again.
