West Point Wedding

We could not have been happier with Dan Lungen as our wedding photographer at West Point. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and Dan captured every moment in a way that exceeded all expectations.

The photographs taken at the Cadet Chapel, Trophy Point, and the Thayer Hotel are simply stunning. Dan has an incredible eye for both the iconic beauty of West Point and the intimate moments that made our day so special. Every picture feels timeless and authentic.

The quality of the photography was exceptional — highly professional, clean, artistic, and beautifully composed. Both the candid shots and the posed portraits were equally amazing. Dan somehow captured not only how everything looked, but exactly how the day felt.

The final gallery is filled with so many incredible images that we are honestly challenged to decide which ones to frame because there are so many favorites. These photographs will truly become family heirlooms that we will treasure for generations.

Beyond his talent, Dan was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process — calm, organized, professional, and easygoing. Our special day simply could not have been captured any better.

Dan Captured Our Day so the Memory Can Live On

Dan is a class act! He communicates well and his follow-through is fantastic not to mention his incredible talent. There are not enough words to say how happy my husband and I were Dan. Great experience

Photographer was the first vendor booked for our wedding and by far the easiest! When searching for photographers, Dan’s work on his website caught my eye and I wanted to learn more. My husband and I sat down with Dan at his office where he took time to thoroughly explain his whole process as well as answer all my questions without ever rushing us. We were so impressed and comfortable with his that we agreed to book him before we even left his office! He was always very prompt to reply to any questions via email as well. Both the engagement as well as the wedding pictures were delivered in a matter of weeks just as he promised - we never had any concern for delays. We wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again.

The Best Photographer Ever!

Choosing Dan Lungen for our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made regarding the most important day of our life. We had a good feeling about Dan from the first day we met. He spent the time understanding who we are and what we needed. He made great recommendations and was always accessible and available by email and in person, to answer all our questions. On the day of the wedding, Dan and his videographer, Sergio, were punctual and efficient in capturing special moments with the bridal party before, during and after the ceremony. They even documented the venue, décor, food, and the fun we had celebrating with our family and friends at the reception. The best part is, we received over 800 pictures within two weeks of the wedding. In less than three months, we were amazed to see the edited video of our wedding, replete with meaningful music. We are truly grateful for Dan’s talent, wisdom, guidance, and warm personality. We always felt like we were with family when we interacted with him, and we give him our highest commendations for his extraordinary artistry. He is the best photographer one could choose for any event, occasion as well as for a perfect dream wedding day.

Memory Lane Wedding Photos

Fabulous is where I begin with Dan’s photos for my wedding! He was professional, flexible and responsive down to every detail! I traveled out of state for my wedding and Dan was what I consider the top vendor! Did I mentioned it rained that day? Yet it was so important to try to get photos outside based on the venue we chose and he came thru with flying colors! My best photos were under the raindrops. Dan was the perfect photographer!

Dan was an amazing photographer and such a sweet person! He was a calming presence on our big day and has an amazing eye to capture the perfect shots. Photos that we will FOREVER cherish - INCREDIBLE

When we first met with Dan, we were instantly impressed by the work displayed in his office and his easygoing and professional attitude. We had met with dozens of photographers before and they all were trying way too hard to sell a package, whereas, Dan just listened to what we wanted, brainstormed with us, and discussed how he could turn our vision into a reality. I knew we had decided on the right photographer after the engagement shoot - they were absolutely stunning and he was unbelievably easy to work with. He made sure to capture all of the beautiful moments...and got some incredible shots of our furbaby, Diego. That was just the beginning of his incredible talent. Our wedding photos are unbelievably beautiful. He captured EVERYTHING...nothing was left undone. The most incredible backgrounds, sunsets, group photos, getting ready, candids...and we all look so great. The turnaround time is super quick, as well! Dan is amazing

Dan was absolutely amazing to work with. He was recommended to me by my cousin who used him for her wedding and I'm so glad we booked him. From start to finish he was easy to speak to and quick to respond to any of our questions. Planning a wedding during Covid was honestly so hard but we never had any issues with Dan. He was on top of all of our changes and never made anything difficult. If anything he made a very stressful time, easier. The day of our wedding he was very easy going, fun, and attentive. His work is amazing!! He had all of our pictures to us a week after the wedding! I can't tell you how many people have gone out of their way to compliment all the pictures my husband and I have shared. We are so incredibly happy with his work. Picture perfect

Dan did an incredible job capturing memories from our big day. We constantly receive comments about the great photos! Dan helped the day be smooth and organized. The photographer process from our first consultation, leading up to the day, to the big day, to appointments after our wedding all met our expectations; it was all what we had visioned! Dan was very easy to communicate with and was always professional. My husband and I are two modest people who are not all eyes on us type of people. Dan made us feel at home- we always felt comfortable and at ease. With his experience he was able to capture our day and evening of our new chapter in life while creating a stress free environment. Wonderful Experience

Dan was a wonderful photographer! He was easy to work with, great with communication and made the day fun! The first time we met with Dan my husband said, "You can tell how much he loves his job!" Dan took the time to show us photos from our venue and church of past weddings so that we could see all he could do! I never had to worry about timing the day of our wedding, Dan was on top of it! We also did a videographer with Dan. Seb the videographer was wonderful. Dan and Seb worked very well together. They were quick and did amazing work! Dan was familiar with our venue (Falkirk Estate and Country Club) which made it even better! Dan sent us proofs within a week and we received our photos the following week! We are so pleased with our photos and the work that Dan and Seb did! We would highly recommend using Dan!

From the moment we met Dan we knew we needed him as our photographer. Dan was always professional, straight forward and helpful. Day of wedding he was on time actually early. Look no further for the best photographer in the Hudson Valley. Dan made us feel at ease throughout the whole wedding process, even beyond the photography. He knows the business and vendors inside and out. Feel free to ask his advice on anything - he’s seen it all! His prices are very reasonable and you will feel like you are his only clients. He was totally on board with our Star Wars themed wedding and helped us showcase our props and scenery. Dan responds very quickly to emails/phone calls and his online access to photos is very user friendly. We received all our photos a week after our wedding and our videos/wedding album soon after. So grateful to Dan Lungen Photography...

I first heard about Dan Lungen Photography through the internet, and when I met with him, I had discovered that he was the wedding photographer and videographer for many other couples that I knew. Dan's work speaks for itself, but hearing how wonderful he was to work with made me see that he was the right choice for my wedding photographer and videographer. From the moment I first decided to work with Dan, I was very impressed with how well he communicated with me, as well as the advice he gave me throughout the wedding planning process. He gave me several great recommendations for other vendors, who I ended up using for my wedding.

When it came to the actual wedding, I worked with Dan to set up a day of schedule to work with so that everything would run on time. Leading up to the wedding, we had a few reports of potential rain (otherwise known as a bride's worst nightmare), and Dan was very comforting throughout the process. We discussed possible back up plans in case of rain for wedding photos, which brought me a tremendous sense of comfort.

On the day of the wedding, Dan arrived early at each location and helped us stick to our schedule so that everything began and ended on time. He was so warm and welcoming to everyone and made the entire photoshoot such a fun process.

Everyone in the wedding party, including a few who don't like having their photos taken, had the nicest things to say about Dan. I would highly recommend him as your wedding photographer and videographer - you'll be thankful that you did!

Finally, here is essential advice for brides - make a list of all the photos you want to have at the wedding and include all the combinations to share with Dan. The day goes by so fast that you can forget to take specific photos with individual family members or group photos.

So glad Dan was our photographer!

Dan did a great job running around and managing our various family members. He was really good at watching the clock to make sure everything went smoothly (and building in lots of extra time). When things inevitably run late or otherwise go wrong, the soothing aura he exudes calms everyone. Photos came back in like 6 days (we were still on the honeymoon) including wacky photoshops. Pretty great guy to deal with!

Dan is the Best!

From the moment I sat down with Dan , he walked me through the process and shared his work with me. We hit it off right away. My appointment did not feel like a appointment but an old friend sharing their passion for photography. He checked in a few weeks before the wedding to touch base and review how the wedding should go. He was early to my hotel, which sets a brides mind at ease knowing he was not going to be late. He captured shots of my family and friends that made me laugh out loud and ones that touched my heart! He captured me crying while dancing with my father. Which was one of those unexpected moments of how much a little girl loves her daddy! He captured James' face the moment I walked down the isle. The glow on my husbands face says it all. The awestruck smile of love and joy. He captured tons of funny photos of my groomsmen chasing my nephew who is 2 years old through group photos and a family friend dancing with James' 87 year old aunt! He captured the band "Bill's Toupee" on the dance floor singing with my guest and myself. Showing the level of carefree fun we had at the reception. Of course, he took the classic photos of the bridal party and James and I getting ready. He covered it all. From the standard wedding photos to the stolen moments most don't see. I can not wait to see Dan again! I am actually in a wedding next month he shooting! I am truly blessed and lucky to have the opportunity to work with him again.

Dan was an excellent photographer! The value for his pricing compared with other photographers in our area was untouchable! He was very willing to work with us and he made everyone feel really comfortable. The photos came out beautiful and we are so happy we went with him for our wedding!

Dan was amazing! He was so kind and professional throughout the entire process. He really listened to the vision we wanted for our big day and was so accommodating to all of our requests. Dan made sure to get all of our "must have" shots throughout the entire day and helped us get specific groups of people together for those shots. We got our proofs back within a week and a half and loved them all. Thank you Dan for helping us capture such special moments!

We are so happy we picked Dan to be our wedding photographer. He was so easy to work with and very quick to respond to questions. We wanted someone who had worked at our venue before (New York Country Club) so they would know the best spots for photos. Dan did not disappoint! He made sure we got all the pictures we wanted and they came out beautiful. I've heard some brides say it took months to get their photos back after their wedding, but with Dan we had a USB with all of our photos on it within 3 weeks of the wedding! I would highly recommend Dan Lungen and would definitely use him again in the future if we need a photographer.

Dan Lungen was so wonderful on the day of my wedding. He went above and beyond. I was actually very sick during my wedding. I had a stomach virus and was in the ER the day before my ceremony. I was still sick and weak the day of my wedding and Dan was beyond fantastic. He was patient and accommodating when the morning schedule was changed due to my illness. He also kept taking breaks for me to drink and take medicine. He did a phenomenal job. I obviously felt pretty awful but you would never know from the pictures! We had talked on the phone, through email, and met in person once before the wedding day, so he knew what I wanted. He did an amazing job of capturing the photos I wanted and directing us into some absolutely breathtaking photos that we didn’t even know we wanted! We split our formal pictures into two sessions, before and after the wedding ceremony and we selected multiple locations to do them. Dan was definitely willing and able to go anywhere we wanted for pictures. The pictures he took are “breathtaking” and that is a direct quote from my mother! We love so many of the photos Dan took. Our only problem is that we are having an impossible time choosing our favorites, which is a great problem to have! The turnaround time of the photos was also unbelievable. We were looking at digital prints in about a week of the ceremony! He also provides little cards with the website and login information so that we could share our photos with our guests and with the family whom were not able to make the trip. Overall, I can’t recommend Dan enough. Our memories and photos are really all we have to remember this day and believe me, it goes by in a blur! Looking through the photos Dan took really transport you back to those moments. He captures some very emotional shots that bring tears to my eyes just looking at them and remembering those moments. You can’t ask for more than that from a photographer.

Dan is the absolute best!! He came highly recommended by our venue and after meeting with him we knew there was no need to keep looking. He's a true professional & we were in good hands the entire wedding day. We have so many amazing photos to choose from and he also got a lot of great shots of our ceremony & guests without being obtrusive. He really captured the beauty of the whole day & we had a lot of fun with all the various shots we did with the party, family, and just the two of us. And to top it all off it's an incredibly short wait to get all of the proofs! Thank you Dan!!

Dan was fantastic from the beginning. He is very straightforward and knowledgeable about the whole wedding industry. Dan rocks! He defines what it means to be a professional. He showed up on time and stayed until the last second taking pictures that we wanted (and frequently threw at him at the last minute). He is personable and funny and our entire bridal party enjoyed him. He helped me relax when I was feeling nervous so that he could get beautiful shots (which he periodically shared with us). He was flexible (we wanted pictures with a certain background and it was VERY sunny) and patient (we tried about 10x to get our sparkler photo right). I had given him a request list before the wedding and he brought it along with sample photos that I had sent him and he consistently reviewed the list with me to make sure we stayed on track and that I got everything I wanted. I can't say enough great things about Dan but if you're reading this- please go meet him and see for yourself. Using him was one of the best decisions I made for that day!

Dan was the first vendor we met with when we began the process of finding vendors for our wedding. He came highly recommended from our wedding venue, ‘The Falkirk Estate & Country Club in addition to rave reviews on The Knot and Wedding Wire. Since it was our first meeting, we didn’t know what to expect. Luckily for us, it was everything we could’ve asked for. His office was lined with framed pictures/portraits of previous clients exemplifying the quality of his portfolio, which made it easy for us to picture our memories being captured the same way.

After moving forward with Dan, we were impressed by his organizational skills and responsiveness. In our experience, a pre-determined schedule is one of the most important aspects of a wedding and Dan implemented and executed it to perfection, which can only come with experience.

On our wedding day, Dan was punctual and professional. He captured each moment perfectly and the love and happiness from the day radiates through these photographs. Every time we look through our pictures we get to relive the best of day of our lives and we are grateful to have these pictures to hold on to forever.

Dan was totally amazing!!! He put so much fun into our day. There was so much laughing, smiling and silliness going on when we were taking pictures by the lake. Dan was also so so helpful. When they delivered the flowers it was Dan who put the boutonnieres on all the guys. He was like a pro at it. Like it was an everyday thing for him. Dan, where do I begin. With not having the "traditional" bridal party as one expects, but to have our children as our bridal party, you were able to capture the moments that "blended" our family. One may not realize how difficult it is to not only get themselves ready for their "big" day, but to get their children ready as well. Although, things went relatively smooth, you were patient at the times you needed to be most when getting the pictures of the kids. John and I, and most certainly our guests, were able to party without being pulled in different directions for pictures. We appreciate that! I asked you for many candid shots and I got it. While viewing them, I stop, look, remember that specific moment and smile. You were able to capture our memories on digital/print that will last a lifetime and for that, we thank you. My husband and I chose Dan as our photographer for our wedding on September 12, 2015. Dan is very professional and wonderful to work with. He made me and my husband feel comfortable, and he was very flexible with us. He was always on time, has great work ethic, and is very approachable. He takes truly beautiful pictures, and the best part is that he provided us with copies of every picture as well as the pictures on a USB for us in around 1 week after our wedding. I gave Dan Lungen Photography, Inc. 5 starts because he deserved them. Form the moment we met Dan, he was a true professional. We had met with a few photographers when trying to find our wedding photographer and felt lost. Dan had done my sister’s wedding a few years earlier and we loved him then so we met with him when our time came. My requirements were simple, or so I thought, but when talking to other photographers my requirements seemed crazy. First, I did not want to be pulled away from my wedding. If I did, I wanted to be told beforehand. Second, I wanted to see all my pictures good bad or indifferent. Third, I wanted actual proofs, not just a digital copies. And lastly I wanted the sun, seeing as how I got married at the end of November and even I thought this was not going to be possible. Dan delivered on my every wish. He told me when we met that he knew my venue well and he will be pulling me away once to take a night time picture out by the golf course and if I don’t want to leave then I don’t have too. My pictures were ready 4 weeks after my wedding, (I have friends who have gotten married a year ago, who still don’t have them). I have over 1000 proofs and by proofs I mean actual pictures not just the digitals (I know it was my requirement but he does it anyway). My whole wedding party will tell you then every 10 shots he moved us. Looking at the pictures now I see why, we were literally moving with the sun. When looking at my pictures you cannot tell that it’s the second to last weekend in November, it looks like a beautiful spring day. And then we have the beautiful sun set pictures. Dan was professional and there was such a level of comfort that I had with him.

It is without hesitation that I recommend Dan Lungen and his team to any couple in search of a photographer and videographer. Throughout the entire process Dan made himself available to us, answering questions, easing my worries, and planning logistics for our big day. We did an engagement shoot, our wedding photography (including albums), and video with Dan. Each item was flawless. We were given proofs for every photo, giving us 1000's to choose from. On the day of the wedding, Dan and his team coordinated everything for the photos and video so we did not have to worry about a thing. We had 4 toddlers in our wedding party and Dan did an amazing job making sure we had perfect photos with the toddlers in them. We look forward to using Dan Lungen Photography for our future events!!!

Dan was a pleasure to work with! It only took our initial meeting to know that he would be the one to perfectly capture our special day. He was consistent with answering emails whenever we had questions and did all of the “behind-the-scenes” coordinating with our venue to make sure everything was set for our special day. Dan was the best! My husband and I met with Dan shortly after we booked our venue because the venue recommended him and I am so happy we did. Dan was able to show us pictures from weddings he had previously done at the same venue and that completely sold us. Dan was the photographer for our June 13, 2015 wedding and we could not have chosen a better photographer. He was easy to work with and the photos were stunning. We planned our wedding from almost 2000 miles away in Texas and had to choose a photographer over the phone without meeting in person first. I had a lot of questions to ask to make sure we were getting the right photographer for us. Some photographers we contacted got frustrated by my questions and were short with me,but not Dan. He was responsive, patient, and understanding from our first interaction. He was always prompt with email and phone responses and made us feel like we had nothing to worry about come the big day. When we finally met him in person a few months later (before the wedding) we were greeted by the same warm welcome and eagerness to make our day special. On the wedding day he was early and ready to capture the excitement. My fiancé and I are not terribly comfortable posing in front of the camera but he coached us and our bridal party into some amazing shots and took candid photos that really captured the emotion of the day. We could not have been more pleased. He was quick and professional with his editing allowing us to see our photos while still on our honeymoon! He also included some fun edits we requested like our bridal party being chased by a T-Rex :)
Dan was very patient with us while we chose photos for our album and when it arrived we were very pleased with it. We now have a high quality album with excellent photos to cherish for a lifetime. Thank you Dan!

I used Dan Lungen for my wedding. I was happy with everything! The photographer, the videographer, the pictures, the price, and the book.

Dan was incredible to work with. He was very helpful with anything I needed. He has a wonderful personality which is a huge part of why we chose him to do our wedding. He was not pushy at all and he was willing to work with what I wanted.

The day of the wedding Dan came with a smile on his face. He started taking pictures and did not stop until he left that night. He took all the pictures I asked for and Gave me not problems when I pulled him over to take a picture. During the wedding I barely saw him or the Paul the videographer. They gave me my space to have fun and they did their thing.

Now that the wedding is over I'm working with Dan on pictures and the books. I saw the pictures and was amazed at how many pictures he took and how wonderful they came out. Dan worked with us to create our wedding book and it came out beautiful!

Dan is very helpful and easy to work with. He is very nice and caring. He truely loves taking photos and it shows in his work!

I would defiantly recommend Dan and I will use him again myself if I ever needed professional pictures taken.

At first, my husband and I were going back and forth between Dan ( who I found online) and another photographer a friend recommended...our gut feeling was to go with Dan and we are so thankful we did!!! Dan, his second photographer and his videographer were absolutely AMAZING!!!! They had such great ideas for picture settings and captured everything!! Sometimes I go to weddings and I never see the bride and groom because they are off taking pictures and cannot enjoy their wedding. Dan planned everything so well...he got all the pictures I asked him to and then some without taking us away from anything. He was snapping away while people were dancing yet never in their faces. And the videographer was the same!! I can't wait to see everything! I highly recommend Dan Lungen Photography. He will put you at ease and capture the essence of your day! Thanks Dan!

My husband and I hired Dan for our wedding and we knew right as we met him that we made the right choice! Dan is very professional, reliable and knowledgeable. He did both our engagement photos and wedding photos and we were more than pleased with how the pictures came out! Dan was recommended by a friend who used him for her wedding. He did not disappoint! Dan knows his stuff, and it showed. During our planning process, he used the standard photographer wedding formula but was flexible and creative enough to tweak it for what we as a couple wanted.. Some candids, editorial shots, even understanding a sensitive family dynamic. He showed me some shots as he took them, and I could not be happier! :) I am sure we will continue to use Dan's services for family portraits and other life events for years to come!

Dan was everything you could want in a wedding photographer. He was professional, dependable, and captured the best moments from our special day. We opted for him to bring an assistant who was wonderful as well.

Dan arrived on time and was able to guide us so that we stayed on time for everything. The pictures were fun and didn't feel forced or awkward to take. During the entire event he remained in the background while still catching everything we wanted. In other weddings we've been to, the photographers seem to get in the way during the ceremony and reception. This was not the case with Dan.

Our pictures were available online within a week or so. He also promptly mailed all of them to us - and there were A LOT. What was so great is that he sends little business cards with information on how our guests could view the pictures online. We put them in our "Thank you" cards. He also didn't mind that it took us some time to pick out the pictures for our album. There were just so many great ones.

I would 100% recommend Dan to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

Dan is the best photographer you could hope for! He was professional and personable throughout a potentially stressful process. Dan devoted time before our wedding to getting to know us and our aspirations for the day. He helped us coordinate great pictures without causing us to miss the celebration. He guided us throughout the ceremony and reception in a helpful, relaxed manner. We received our pictures about a week after our wedding. The photos came out amazing! During my wedding planning, people always told me that "a good band will make the wedding", while I agree with that, I have to add in that a good photographer makes a wedding also. Dan Lungen is beyond good, he is outstanding. He is professional, personable, pleasant and creative. Dan made our wedding process more than enjoyable and I can't thank him enough for that. Every person at my wedding kept repeating how impressed they were with him and how he seemed to catch everything without being in everyone's faces. Everyone knows it can be tough to wait to see your wedding photos because it's so exciting, but there was virtually no wait with Dan. The photos were online and available to view when we got home from our honeymoon a little over a week later. He also had our proofs, CD, and wedding album (beautiful wedding album) ready in no time. If you want to have a perfect photographer for your wedding or event, I would definitely choose Dan Lungen! Choosing Dan was the best decision we made. I can't wait to use him for future events!

We could not be happier with Dan Lungen Photography.
Dan was referred by a family member who used his services for their wedding.
We had spent over an our with Dan at his office looking through his photos. He took the time to ask us where our reception was being held and found pictures of weddings he had done their in the past.
Dan was on time the morning of our wedding and did not make us feel rushed or that we needed a ton of formal photos.
He is creative in his work and insured that all special pictures we wanted were taken.
We also had his videographer and looking forward to receiving the DVD soon
Dan was quick in sending us our photos and we received them within 2 weeks of our wedding, we look through them all the time!

Dan did a great job being there for all our big moments without being intrusive. We were very confident that the results would be incredible, and we were not disappointed. What a perfect choice for a photographer. Both my husband and I couldn't be any happier with the quality of our pictures. They were incredible in all the ways I imagined them to be. Dan and his videographer Evan did a fantastic job photographing and filming our wedding. My husband and I didn't want to miss a minute of our celebration and he was incredibly efficient in capturing all the photos we wanted so we could get back in and join the festivities. They blended in with the party so you never felt they were in the way or you were tripping over them but they were able to capture all the important and memorable moments. Highly recommend them!

My fiance and I hired Dan for our engagement photos and he was an absolute to pleasure to work with. We were both nervous about how the pictures would turn out since neither one of us particularly loves to have our photo taken, but we ended up with so many fantastic photos that we had trouble deciding which ones to print and use for our Save the Dates. These photos have been one of the highlights of our engagement so far and we've received so many compliments from friends and family. I can't thank Dan enough for making the entire process so enjoyable and for so elegantly capturing this time in our lives. I am so glad we decided to have engagement photos taken! We're getting married out of state otherwise we would definitely hire Dan for our wedding photography as well!

Dan was very responsive and replied very quickly whenever I had a question leading up to the day of the wedding. On the day of, he was punctual and at the reception, I didn't even know he was there and neither did any of our guests. I gave him a list of family pictures that I wanted taken at the reception and he made sure to come over to me to make sure they got taken. He also asked before he left for the night if I had any other pictures I wanted taken. I would suggest that you definitely give him a list of pictures you want taken becuase when you are at your reception you are not going to think of it or remember you want them taken. I had my proofs about 2-3 weeks after my wedding. I just got my wedding album about a month ago (it took me a while to sort through and pick pictures I wanted) and I love it. It came out awesome! Dan was very easy to work with and talk to. I would defintiely recommend him for your wedding photography.

My husband and I had Dan take our photos for our wedding on 3/28, and he was fantastic! He's very kind, fun, intuitive, and very willing to work with you. To us, it was very important to find a photographer that we can connect with, and we connected with Dan immediately upon our first meeting. We received fair warning from our friends that photographers tend to get pushy, but Dan definitely wasn't. We received direction from him with regards to photo poses, but his gentle nature keeps you calm and concentrated. Our photos came out lovely - nice, clear, and creative shots of which we're receiving lots of positive feedback from our families & guests. Whether you're on a budget or not, his photos are of excellent quality and at fair pricing. Dan, we really enjoyed working with you - thank you very very much! Dan was with us from the time the girls started getting ready until the last minutes of the reception 9 hrs. later. He was so comfortable to be around and made the time we spent doing all the posed family & bridal pictures fun . Dan captured all those special moments during the ceremony & reception as well as lot's of candid shots throughout the reception. When I look back at the photos from the wedding, it is like living the whole day over again. We got the pkg. that included all the proofs, a DVD, an 8 x 10 for each set of parents and an 11x14 for the bride & groom and a beautiful Italian leather bound album for the bride & groom. I am the mother of the groom.

Dan made this experience amazing and helped us throughout the process of our wedding. from the professionalism to his art, he is second to none. He was referred to me by people all over rockland, westchester and northern nj. He captured us at every facet of a wedding and he was truly a gentleman. our photography experience was the best we ever encountered and he is a must for our future events. I can't say enough good things about Dan. We used him for both engagement photos as well as our wedding and were very happy with the results.
I have been in other weddings and often times the photographers are more of an annoyance than anything else. Move this way, stand over here, etc. Dan was good at giving directions but never made you feel like he was running the show and making demands. He seemed to understand what we were looking for and was always there to make suggestions.
Dan also had a variety of different lenses which created many different/unique looking shots. Highly recommend him if you are looking for good work at a fair price. Will hopefully use him again in the future!

Dan was the perfect choice for a photographer. From first meeting him, he was professional but fun- it felt like someone we already knew. He spent a good hour showing us his work, asking what we were looking for and explaining Orr options etc. There was no pressure to book right then, but when we left I knew it was the right choice.
The day of our reception, Dan was great! I was frustrated with some things (family arriving very late) but he just took prep photos and didn't mind that no one was there yet. He was fun (we have pictures that we are laughing in- even people who look quite serious in most photos- that I love) and we got so many awesome pictures. I had people tell me how much they liked him- that he was everywhere taking pictures, he allowed guests to get in and snap a photo if they were behind him, got a picture of each couple there.... I already have the boxes proofs, and I have no idea how duo decide what to use in the album!
We're going to have so many amazing photos to look back and remember our day.

I was so happy with Dan! He was there on time, worked around us, worked fast, and very fun to work with. Our pictures came out beautiful and I felt like I got plenty of shots. He did everything since I didn't really know how to pose or have any special shots in mind so that was great. I would Definitely reccomend him!

We could not be happier that we chose Dan Lungen Photography for our wedding! We just got our photos back and they are gorgeous. Dan is an artist that captures the most precious moments, and we never knew he was there! I did a lot of research on photographers in the area and Dan's samples of his work were the ones that I thought were the most romantic, creative yet classic, and professional. His prices are affordable and we easily found a package we could afford and be happy with. Dan is also so easy to work with, and he got us our photos back super fast (my brother got married months ago and is still waiting for his!). I said from the beginning that the most important thing to me on our wedding day was the photos. I could not be more thrilled!

Dan was everything I had hoped for in a photographer. He gave great advice throughout the planning process and helped set up the timeline for our wedding day. He made us feel so comfortable and we had a lot of fun with him the day of the wedding. At our request, he worked quickly in taking the formal photos to ensure that we could enjoy some of our cocktail hour. In addition to getting all of the shots I had asked for, Dan took some great action shots of our guests on the dancefloor, which have really helped us to re-live that day!

Dan’s turnaround time with getting us our proofs was unbelievably fast. I got an email from him on our way home from the airport after our honeymoon with the link to our photos, which came out great! He had the physical proofs and the disk with all the images ready for us 3 days later. My friends were amazed that we had our proofs back in no time at all. AND, this is all 2 weeks after his first child was born!

I can’t imagine a photographer being more reliable, attentive, hard-working, and fun than Dan Lungen. Not to mention the fact that his work is outstanding! I would definitely recommend using Dan as the photographer for anyone who has an upcoming event.

Our Wedding was on 7/13/13 I used Dan Lungen for my pictures and video. He was so easy to work with and very personable I couldn’t have asked for a better person to do my pictures. When we came back from our honeymoon two weeks later my disc and proofs were already done and ready to be mailed to me. When I went online to review my pictures they all came out so beautiful and he really got good shots throughout the entire day. I would HIGHLEY recommend him for your wedding!!!!!!! We were extremely pleased and he made the entire experience very enjoyable!!!!!! Everyone at my wedding was even talking about how much they liked him.

I don't think we could have asked for a better photographer than Dan. He accommodated our every need and took the most beautiful photos to document the day from start to finish. Not just a "snapshot" photographer, he truly is an artist who wasn't afraid to get down on the ground to capture the vision. Dan is an amazing photographer with great passion and technical know-how. As a bit of a photography geek, I was really pleased at Dan's techniques and toys! But what made Dan absolutely magical was his command of the wedding party and guests at our wedding. Weddings are an absolute frenzy and so much goes wrong/doesn't go according to schedule. But Dan rallied all of us and got us organized even when things were behind schedule and a bit awry. We got back absolutely STUNNING photos and we could not possibly be happier. I would recommend Dan very highly and you will be very pleased.

Dan was the photographer for our wedding and he did a superb job! He was extremely professional, easy to work with, and very friendly.
