From our very first phone call with Dan, we immediately got the sense of how much he genuinely loves what he does and how passionate he is about creating a fun, lively, and unforgettable wedding experience. You can tell right away that his biggest priority is making sure people are enjoying themselves, and that energy carried throughout our entire wedding day.
For our wedding, we knew we had a mixed crowd of both older and younger guests, and with our wedding being on the smaller side, it was really important to us that the music and overall atmosphere felt engaging and enjoyable for everyone attending. Dan and the band absolutely exceeded every expectation we had. The energy they brought throughout the night truly brought our vision to life and created such an incredible atmosphere from start to finish.
One thing we especially appreciated was how accommodating and attentive Dan was throughout the entire process. Not only did the band set up for the reception, but they also coordinated setups across multiple locations for our ceremony and cocktail hour as well, which helped everything flow seamlessly throughout the evening. Dan also really listened to our preferences and incorporated the music we loved after we shared some of our favorite songs and overall vibe for the wedding.
The band went above and beyond in terms of energy, performance, and crowd engagement. The dance floor was packed, guests were having the best time, and people are still talking about how amazing the music was. They created one of those experiences that truly becomes a core memory from your wedding day.
Booking Dan Harvey and the band was easily one of the best decisions we made throughout the wedding planning process. It was so much fun, completely unforgettable, and without a doubt one of the biggest highlights of our wedding weekend. We cannot recommend them enough.

Dan was amazing. That’s all there is to it. He was incredibly professional. Easy to communicate with. Very down to earth.
I found Dan after some deep dives into Facebook Florida keys wedding groups. I messaged him and set up a phone interview. I talked with him about 30 min and he followed up with an email. He emailed a list of songs he performs and a list asking the order of things- he doubled as EMC for our wedding.
My fiancé was able to meet Dan a few days before the wedding at Hogs Breath in Key West. We FaceTimed so
I could watch him sing and then he took a minute to talk to me after his song.
Dan has made music his life, and it shows. Not only that- but he was super organized, on top of the plans, and showed up early. He has a physical copy of our emails for his reference through the wedding. Last minute, I threw him a curve ball. I said Dan, we had ONE song picked for procession BUT we need 2. I need you to pick a song to play for me to walk down the aisle. I didn’t ask what he picked- I fully trusted him. And he DELIVERED. He chose ‘Millionair’ by Chris Stapleton and I’ve never heard it sang better than Dan did (sorry Chris). I didn’t know what song he picked until I walked down the aisle, and the tears started, and they didn’t stop until after the wedding.
Dan played our seating, our wedding, and our reception. Every second was incredible. He interacted with guests and announced all of the things from food, to our entrance, to the songs we danced to. We will FOREVER be Dan Harvey Fans ✌🏼 -

What can I say… Dan Harvey and his band completely killed it for our wedding. From day one, Dan was super accommodating. I had high expectations and through many planning calls and changes on my end,Dan and his team captured my vision perfectly. I was not an easy bride to work with in the music department and through it all, Dan was so calming, supportive and truly seemed to care about me and my family, which we really appreciated. By the end of the process, he truly seemed like a friend.
We had Dan Harvey do our ceremony. He provided wireless microphones and played acoustic guitar. He also played a special recording of my voice prior to me walking down the aisle, something my fiance and our guests found to be so special. For cocktail hour, we had a steel drummer that was insanely talented and perfectly captured the island vibes.
For our reception, the entire band played so many amazing songs and our guests were dancing all night long. The horn player came into the crowd and played a few solos. Dan also played all of our requested songs and provided mics for our speeches. Our wedding night would not have been the same without him and his team. We highly recommend them.

My husband and I are so delighted that Dan was available to sing at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Dan has an extensive song catalogue and was extremely communicative with us via email before the event. We were blown away by how beautiful he sounded as he sang "I'm Yours" and "What a Wonderful World" as we walked down the aisle. His voice is even more amazing in person than the videos! Dan timed the songs perfectly for our wedding procession and recession. His equipment sounded great, and he provided the microphone for our officiant. Our guests enjoyed his singing during cocktail hour as well, and he provided the perfect soundtrack to the exquisite Key West sunset. After our wedding, several hotel guests and employees thanked us for Dan's music that they got to enjoy. We highly recommend Dan Harvey and thank him for making our day so special! -

Dan was fantastic throughout the whole process! From our first conversation he was very enthusiastic and helpful. A great mix of down to earth and professional. He is just a really good guy to work with.
He has a lot of experience so he can give great suggestions but also he can customize and that is what we wanted. I wanted live music for the cocktail hour and he was wonderful! I took his standard playlist and added some of my favorites and he worked with me on what would sound best. For the rest of the wedding he was the DJ and the dinner music we picked had a really cool vibe of Motown and soft rock/love ballads. For the dancing I had a list picked and Dan was super helpful in mixing those in along with songs I didn't even think of that really kept everyone dancing but weren't cheesy like the Electric slide! Our guests were dancing up until the last moment of the party! There were no dull moments. He even played our first dance song live for us which was a special treat.
We love coming to Key West every year if possible and we ALWAYS make it a point to see Dan play while we are there, so having him play for our wedding was really meaningful for us. He embodies the key west vibe and his guitar playing is so superior to the other solo acts around town.
We couldn't have asked for more - hire Dan and you will not regret it! -

I'm so happy I decided on Dan Harvey for my wedding band, he had the whole wedding party dancing all night. He plays a great variety of genres and even took a few requests. Very talented band, highly recommend! -

Dan was able to pull of having a Serbian and American wedding for me! I ended up switching most of my big song choices (walk, cake cutting, entrance) 48 hours before the wedding... whoops. He still made it happen! Dan even learned how to play our first song and played it for us by the pool side before and after the wedding! Thank you for helping make my wedding so amazing, and for dealing with me! Ha! :) -

Dan was great! I loved that we were able to have him sing during cocktail hour and DJ during the wedding. It really worked out great! He kept the crowd dancing and helped move everything along. I can't Thank him enough for a great evening! Would recommend him in a heartbeat, you wont be disappointed. -

Dan is fantastic! Everyone from my 4 year old niece to my 88 year old grandma loved his music. He knows how to get the party started and keep it going! His island vibe is exactly what you need for a perfect Florida wedding. We absolutely loved working with Dan! -

When we downsized our wedding due to COVID, we weren't sure we wantes to move forward with a DJ and started looking into local musicians. Dan came highly recommended from our Venue and once we checked out his website and listened to him play, we were sold! He was amazing & actually did both live songs AND was our DJ for the evening! Dan even offered to learn a new song if there was something special we wanted that wasn't on his vast song selection already (Kiss the Girl, acoustic, from The Little Mermaid💗).

The Dan Harvey Band is absolutely fantastic!!! From the beginning, they worked with us to help create the perfect night. They were crucial in helping with song selections, on-point timing, nostalgic music for our first dance, father/daughter, mother/son dances and then music to get the party started! They were absolutely phenomenal, and the dance floor was packed the entire night. Their combination of insanely talented musicians and vocalists made for an energetic and entertaining performance. We didnt want the night to end! We would highly recommend The Dan Harvey Band!! -

The Dan Harvey Band was amazing! They played acoustic for the ceremony and played the first part of the reception, getting the party started right away during cocktail hour. They were easy to work with and engaging, catering to the crowd and playing something for everyone. Would recommend them to all!
