Dan is the best!
Dan was the DJ for our wedding and he did an amazing job! He kept the dance floor packed the whole time and had a really fun audio guest book with an old phone. He was very easy to work with and had good communication leading up to the wedding. Thank you so much Dan!!! -

Exceptional Wedding DJ
We hired Dan as our wedding DJ and he did not disappoint! Not only was his communication very reliable but his service was as well. He cued every song perfectly and followed our timeline just as we had asked. He not only kept open communication with us the entire planning process but also stayed reliable with our coordinators the entire wedding day. He brought such a lively feel to our wedding and the audio recordings that were provided were such an awesome added bonus. Cannot recommend Dan enough! -

Best dj ever!
Dan was such a joy to work with! He was extremely professional and kind! He listened to the requests that me and my husband had and made them a reality. He was accommodating to all our asks especially with my husband making my walk down the aisle song. He provided check in calls to make sure our music was what we wanted. It was also a major help that he provided the music & mics for the ceremony. We truly loved having Dan for our special day, so much that we became Facebook friends after. If you are looking for a great wedding DJ, def book DAN HARDEE!!!!! :) -

The best dj!
Our wedding was a couple days ago and we couldn’t be more thrilled with our experience working with Dan! Huge part of a great wedding
Dan really helped make our wedding a fun and great experience! We appreciated his help preparing for our wedding - in a few quick chats and emails, he answered all our questions and came up with a few nice touches as well as playlists for parts of the evening we didn't have strong ideas for. Then the day of, he made sure everything ran smoothly from afternoon through late night, even at a somewhat complex venue. Thanks Dan! -

Birthday Blast!
Dan played at an event space for my 40th birthday celebration, and I can’t say enough good things about it! Dan was communicative leading up to the party, he showed up early and had everything ready to go on schedule, played exactly the type of music we wanted to hear, and engaged with party guests. We could not have had a better DJ and Emcee!
We could not have been more pleased with how everything turned out abd are so grateful for all Dan did. Dan had a lapel mic for the officiant and a hand-held mic for other participants in the ceremony and for the toast speeches - it all worked perfectly and smoothly. Dan did a fantastic (and fun) job of dismissing tables for dinner and getting everyone's attention for first dances, toast speeches, etc. We received so many comments about how fun the wedding was and how good the music was. Dan recorded the audio not only of the ceremony (which we knew about ahead of time) but also of the toasts (which we hadn't thought of ahead of time and are SO grateful for)! We would recommend Dan to anyone. Thank you, Dan! -

Dan Hardee - Emcee for Sounds of Southlands concert series
After having known Dan for years, I finally had the chance to hire him to work as one of our concert series emcees. Dan came prepared for every concert he worked. He'd read the points we had given him to cover and delivered them in his usual friendly manner. In person, he comes across as personable as he does on the radio. He had fun with the crowd and was engaging. So happy to work with Dan and would do so again when the opportunity arises. -

Dan was recommended by our wedding coordinator and we’re so glad we went with him! From the beginning we immediately felt like we were in good hands. Look no further! Amazing DJ
Dan is such an amazing DJ! He was very communicative from the start, and we felt great about hiring him for our day!
We had an off-site ceremony at a church, so Dan helped out with the reception starting with happy hour, dinner and dancing. Our venue was tricky, because it had two separate rooms. One for dinner and one for dancing. But he navigated it well and everything turned out amazing! He was great to work with, super responsive and the entire night went so smoothly. He even provides you recordings of all the speeches, which is so special! He also played all of our weird song requests that my family loves lol.
If you’re looking for a DJ in the Denver/Springs area, look no further. Dan will make your day move so smoothly. -

Tall enough to reach my high expectations
Dan Hardee far exceeded my expectations for my wedding DJ. Not only did he play everything we wanted, but he read the room and the guests perfectly while also keeping in mind my “do not play” list. He made sure to come and introduce himself and make me laugh pre ceremony while I still had my nervous energy and was hiding behind a bush so my soon to be husband didn’t see me. Everybody had a blast and a huge part of that was the way Dan curated our environment with perfectly timed songs. The dance floor was full all night with the greatest mix of new and old music. As soon as the bride/groom requests a song it’s the next to be played because he understands this is your night and repeatedly made sure everyone knew to love on us but also to give us the room to eat. Fantastic DJ Makes for a Memorable Event
Dan is a fantastic DJ from the first meeting to the last dance. He's a great professional that did the sound for both our outdoor wedding and indoor reception, including working around a little thunder and lightning during the ceremony. Dan was amazing
Working with Dan as our DJ made our special day, stress free! Music is everything at a wedding in my opinion. Dan was very flexible as we had lots of moving around for our wedding between ceremony site, cocktail hour, dinner and reception. The microphones that Dan used even recorded our entire ceremony and reception, so if you do not have a videographer, you have the audio! My husband and I created our own playlist with song suggestions and also allowed guests to recommend songs too! All songs were spot on for our ceremony and reception. He got the party going as the MC and was able to read the room when switching up the song vibes. Your DJ can really make or break your wedding day, and I would recommend Dan to any new bride! Dan, thank you again for making our wedding day the most epic! -

Dan is 100% the best choice we made for our wedding. Not only is he a great guy, and can keep things moving, he is fun and the thing we loved the most he actually listens to what YOU want on your big day. Great experience from a tall guy
What a great experience! I am so glad we decided to work with Dan. He really stands above all other Wedding DJs, he really made our night special. Dan was more of an MC leading our guests through the night flawlessly, from the sound at our ceremony (the officiant was heard clearly by all) to our first dance to an epic send off to our favorite song. Dan listened to what we wanted and delivered exactly that. We made mistakes with some of our vendors, but Dan was a shining example of how to do it right. Hire Dan, he is just fantastic. -

Great Experience
Working with Dan was a great experience. We have used him twice for dance parties for individuals with special needs. We had some ideas of how we wanted the event to look, but Dan took the time ahead of the event to work with us and make sure everything would work well and be how we envisioned it. Amazing DJ!
Dan is fantastic! My team and I worked with him recently at a wedding in Lakewood and he was so killer! A DJ is not only your source of music, but also your master of ceremonies and Dan has the perfect personality for both! He's great at getting the crowd excited, is lighthearted and fun on the mic, makes sure everyone is prepped and ready before starting anything, and read the crowd throughout the whole evening. His setup was quick and easy and looked discreet and beautiful with the rest of the room! Highly recommend! -

Great music all night long!
Dan DJ'd our Prom-themed birthday party. We gave him a list of favorite musicians and songs, for decades 70's - 2000's (BeeGees to Bruno Mars!) for guest of all ages, and he nailed it. The music and the dancing lasted all night long, and Dan was such great company - we had so much fun! -

Dan is a rockstar!
Working with Dan was absolutely fantastic. Our mutual love for Back to the Future really made us feel like Dan would understand some of our nerdy song choices and be able to incorporate them smoothly (which he did!). I was also very indecisive about a lot of the music (like cake cutting, the bouquet toss) and he gave us the direction we needed. Everything during the ceremony was perfect, and he had the dance floor packed during the reception! He was also a lifesaver in terms of making sure we were on schedule. Wedding DJ
I am so thrilled we went with Dan as our wedding DJ! He took the time to have dinner with my husband and I a couple of weeks before our wedding to talk about what we wanted and didn’t want at our reception. He had a lot of thoughtful suggestions based on our song requests and created a fantastic soundtrack for the night. Dan MC’ed the evening perfectly; from the buffet, to speeches, to first dances, he kept the evening going just like I wanted so we could get the party started and keep it going all night. He was truly professional and very, very fun! I was on the dance floor the entire evening! I really couldn’t have asked for a better DJ at my wedding. This is the guy you want! -

Dan was such a great DJ to work with! He was very responsive, and flexible when it came to all of the little details to work with! He did an amazing job the day of the wedding! He did everything between directing the evening by telling guests when to start seating for the ceremony/dinner/etc, to smoothly transitioning between songs for the entire evening. Dan is FANTASTIC!! As a bride, I would always say, “A DJ can really make or break your wedding reception” and so my fiancé (now husband!) and I were on the hunt for the best DJ we could find that fit within our budget. With that said… be willing to spend a little more on a DJ. You get what you pay for, in my opinion and Dan’s services were worth every penny but still so affordable!! There are hundreds and hundreds of DJ options out there and it can be very overwhelming. We found the site, Thumbtack and researched a number of DJs and kept coming back to Dan’s website. When we reached out to Dan, he was so quick to respond. He thoroughly answered all of our questions and was very willing to meet in person to further discuss our needs. We hired him on the spot! He is so nice, has a great personality and shows so much pride in his work. I mean what other affordable DJ can you find that appears on the radio?!!! He is not just a DJ, he is a true entertaining professional. The guy does it all! Dan ensured our wedding vision came to life! Because of him, our reception ran so smoothly and he truly listened to all of our ideas and wishes. Our guests are still complimenting on how great the DJ was and there was not a song that was played that you didn’t want to dance to. He kept the party alive until the very end and was so accommodating to everyone’s requests. Great sound quality was also very important to my husband and this was definitely not an issue, Dan has great equipment and my husband gave it two thumbs up! From one bride to the next – hire this guy… he is AWESOME!!! -

He coordinated with the band, the officiant, and the venue to make sure everything was in tip-top shape. Everything sounded amazing.

Dan was our DJ at our mountain wedding reception. He was easy to work with, adapted to changes smoothly, and very professional. He was able to read the dance floor better than any DJ we have seen at a wedding. Dan did an amazing job of providing what we needed for the ceremony. During the reception, he was able to corral a group of 180 people that kept wandering off due to the blood moon (I don't get it either, but everybody was outside and looking up). Music was up-to-date and Dan was agreeable throughout the entire process. I would suggest Dan for any wedding. -

It was our first Dance at our school (We had a Daddy Daughter Dance, sorry that wasn't one of the options) and he did an amazing job!!! He got all the dads on the dance floor and kept everyone moving all night!!!

Dan was a fantastic choice for our 30th Anniversary. My daughter booked Dan as the event was a surprise, but we were thrilled with his services. He is very personable and a fun guy. Dan is absolutely amazing and made our wedding extra special. The dance floor was FULL the entire night!!! We highly recommend Dan for your DJ needs. He did the music for our entire wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, & reception) and everything went perfect! He was personable and fun to work with. Dan was super communicative leading up to the event, professional and well planned out.
He was flexible to accommodate our crazy weather and last minute plans to move our reception inside. He didn't even complain about the tiny tiny space we had for him! (He's a VERY tall guy!)
Now, the important part, Dans DJing was excellent! We got tons of compliments on how fun the dance party was. He had everyone dancing, which was exactly what we wanted.
Highly recommended! Your guests will have a memorable, fun time and you will be stress-free with Dan DJing on this very important day! -

Dan is a seasoned wedding and event DJ so simply put, you can bank on his musical and emcee expertise. He is fun loving and really enjoys getting to know his clients. He understands how music influences people in different ways and makes his music selections tailored specifically to your tastes.
I have seen him at multiple weddings over the years across Colorado and he was the DJ at my wedding reception in September 2014. On the day of my wedding he was ready to go, knew the timeline of our evening and was essential in smoothly transitioning our festivities. For the bride and groom who want one less thing to worry about on their wedding day, Dan is a MUST HAVE addition to your team of vendors.
