Working with Steve was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. We came to him with a unique idea in mind, but we had done our research and knew it was his style. He was so excited to get on board and we instantly clicked. It was easy to communicate back and forth with him. Steve provided subs, lasers, lights, haze machines and all the music festival-style vibes to our wedding. He also did a fabulous job as MC. I felt I didn't need to worry about him at all and we really developed a friendship over the year of planning our wedding. He was very involved in the planning of our music and general timeline. Another great thing about Steve is that he can be flexible and roll with the punches. An amazing night
Steve was absolutely incredible as our wedding DJ! He brought amazing energy the entire night and truly kept the party alive from start to finish. Our bridal party couldn’t stop complimenting how great he was and everyone was raving about him the whole evening.
He went above and beyond to connect with our guests, make everyone feel included, and bring the perfect vibes for dancing. The dance floor was packed, and the energy never dipped.
On top of that, his communication is top tier. He was always so prompt in responding and made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free.

The Perfect Wedding DJ
Steve gave us the party (wedding) of our dreams! He kept the good vibes going allllll night long. During that time, he's been in charge of basically every event I've ever done and I've also been invited to help run stages with him and learn the ins and outs of the industry. Steve is one of the most kind, attentive, professional, and personable human beings that I've ever met. Steve and his crew did an amazing job with video, lighting, and audio! We forgot to factor in the time change, and instead of getting married at sunset, it was pitch dark. But the lighting he brought made the video perfect. An airplane flew right overhead during the vows and he was able to filter the noise out while still hearing what the bride and groom were saying.
The reception was fabulous too! The music for the cocktail party, dinner and dancing surpassed my expectations. It was a wonderful evening, thanks in part to their hard work. I can't recommend Dallas Event Audio enough! He’s a seasoned professional - everything you're hoping for on your daughter’s wedding day!

He is not only skilled in weddings, but all types of events. I have used his services for not only my own wedding, but at least 4 other corporate parties. Steve was so awesome with our wedding ! He is kind, responsive, down to earth, and a blast to work with. We got the smoke for first dance and the coolest monogram and lighting effects for the wedding. FYI choosing Your DJ is extremely important with the flow of your wedding. We had a flawless ceremony and reception and Steve was responsible for that! Dallas Event audio is so much fun and reads the crowd too! The dance floor was partying all night with the best music! People are still raving about our wedding being the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to!

Referral by a friend for a great personality and performance to include mingling in the crowd to gain a personal touch, this Dj brought on the charm. Dj Steve had a very professional set up as his system was clear and top notch quality. Steve himself is the reason i have edited this review, and changed my views (as well as would recommend to others) As a small business owner in an especially difficult covid environment time, Steve still made sure to make the issues that arose, right. More than a good biz owner he is a genuinely good person who owns mistakes on his team, even the ones that were not made by him. If there is something he can do to help or fix an issue, he will, and that says a lot about his character when it would be easy for him to cut and run after the fact. Steve is the most passionate DJ I have ever met! Honestly, if you want a DJ that will not only do an amazing job but also bring the best equipment then you need to use this vendor. We had to move or wedding back due to Covid and Steve was so accommodating. I have honestly never felt so well taken care of. He’s personable and matched the EXACT vibe we were looking for during our brunch wedding at The Olana. Steve, we can’t say enough nice things about you. From the moment we met for our pre wedding meeting to our last interaction as we departed from our private dance we were always met with a friendly smile. I can’t stress this enough, Steve really does use the best equipment around. Brides and grooms please use Steve!

Steeve is awesome!
Steeve was our dj for our wedding on August 15, 2020. He was amazing and made sure all the music we wanted to be played was played. Steeve also made me a mash up of songs for my first dance with my dad and it turned out amazing! I was also a covid19 bride and had to move my date from April to August. Steeve was quick to accommodate our new date with no problem! Steeve is nice, and energetic and loves what he does. I definitely recommend him!

You need to immediately hire him for any event you have now or in the future!
Through our entire process of planning our wedding, he walked us through the process, accommodated our needs and wishes, became a confidant, and truly made our day more special than we could possibly imagine.
He brought the best sound equipment, live streamed our event for those who could not come, and even helped with our wedding coordinator! He wore so many hats like DJ, technician, Master of ceremony, and anything else we needed from him.
So the choice is yours, but if you don’t hire him, you won’t have the perfect wedding!

What a party!

Perfect Guide
Steve Blackburn of DEA should be the #1 DJ in metroplex! His cost is a reasonable value but the service is Top Notch!! Our wedding guests had a ball dancing the whole night! We had a difficult situation with the bride/groom being out of the country but Steve was very communicative, helped us with preparation templates, remixed songs in advance and met with everyone only days prior to wedding because that was when we were in town. He responded to emails quickly, asked clarifying questions and even came up with a last minute song suggestion that we realized we needed at the last minute. He helped us and the party move smoothly in a professional manner. I highly recommend DEA, they are the best for any wedding or corporate event you may have! Thank you so much Steve!

Steve was by far one of our favorite people that we worked with. He was the DJ at my husbands best friends wedding last year which is when we decided to book him. He gave us a great deal based on what we were looking for. During our final meeting before the wedding he brought up questions that we had not even thought of. He also made some timeline suggestions to ensure our wedding went as smoothly as possible. He felt like more of a friend then a vendor which we definitely appreciated. I would 110% recommend them (ask for Steve) if you are still needing a DJ and on a budget.

Steve from All Access DJ was fantastic! He was very accommodating and was willing to change anything at any given moment. He was always available to talk or help me with anything that I needed! Dj steve is the best!
From Day 1, I knew Steve was the DJ for our wedding. He is so relaxed in nature (which was perfect for a high-strung bride like me, I needed his calming vibes!), but incredibly passionate and detail-oriented about his work. We spoke on the phone a few times to go over our vision for the music, and let Steve do the rest!
He is incredible flexible and responsive to the event, as well as being fun and just a genuinely caring, nice person. My coworkers surprised me on the big day with a custom song that they commissioned for me, and Steve worked with my coordinator to play it at just the right moment during the reception - it was PERFECT!
Steve also didn't bat an eye when I brought him YouTube links to songs that I wanted to use during the ceremony. He got the highest-quality versions of the music and it all sounded so beautiful.
I cannot say enough good things about Steve and his work. He is incredibly affordable, professional, and easy to work with - and just a real sweetheart. Definitely the right decision for our wedding day music!

Amazing DJ
Steve was a last minute add in to our wedding after Guitar Center fell through on us the day before the ceremony. We contacted him the day before, got the contract setup in the car, and he did everything for our reception. By running announcements, playing the playlists we set up, adding in song request, and setting up everything before and taking down after. He verified everything with us and nailed the schedule perfectly even with all the plan changes we had to go through. He also used WAY higher quality sound and video equipment than we could've ever rented, and his custom monogram was a beautiful edition for our wedding. He listened to our input (especially my bride), and was super flexible with everything. I'd give Dallas Event Audio 6/5 if I could, and would recommend them to anyone that is looking for an amazing jack-of-all-trades DJ.

We hired Steve and never regretted it. He takes the time needed to meet with the couple, help design their style of music and listens to what they want instead of selling his own ideas. We got married this past weekend and Steve was our DJ! He was so great and very talented! WOW! Steve was an amazing DJ
Steve just did our wedding over the weekend (3/23/2019) and he did an amazing job. The purple lighting and the project monogram was a great touch. He did a great playlist and included all our songs. Prices were really good compared to competitors. He also acted as a wedding planner when it came to the time table. Kept us updated on time schedule. A really personable guy. Played music till 1 am for us and kept the party going.

Steve w DEA is AMAZING!!! He dj-ed and mc-ed our wedding in Dallas and did a great job! One of the main decisions and most important aspects of our wedding was..THE MUSIC and DJ! We used Dallas Event Audio for a couple of corporate events. Steve is responsive and pays attention to the details! The items we rented were reasonably priced and in great condition. Everything was delivered to us and picked up exactly as planned and on time. The Dallas Event Audio team members who did the setup for us were patient with all of our questions and took the time to show us exactly how to use the items. Professional party starter!
Steve was a complete joy and pleasure to work with! I had so many ideas I wanted to incorporate with my wedding. His patience is awesome, especially being a planning bride with many changes. D.E.A had the most bang for your buck in regards to pricing. Our wedding lights were minimal for them. But still managed to make our wedding lighting amazing, the sound system he brought was a phenomenal sound quality system. New technology speakers he brought made our dance floor alive! I met Mr Labarbera at club many years back and over time got to see him company grow. Fast forward to this year I booked him for my wedding. He interacted with the crowd and played music that me and my wife had requested, I couldn't ask for a better audio ear the bass wasn't too loud or soft and the light show was great it had the children following the lights when we were eating. I could go on and no but you should book him, I guarantee you'll be satisfied.

Steve is very patient, accommodating, and met all of our parties needs! The quality of sound with their equipment is incredible if not the best in Dallas - Fort Worth! I would highly recommend if you if want minimal stress and are on a budget!

After telling him a few songs that were influential to us, he knew just what to play, so I could focus on what/who really matters. :) The energy and Interaction with guests was absolutely wonderful!

Wedding DJ
Steve DJ'ed my wedding and he was great! He kept everyone on the dance floor and catered towards all generations. Would definitely recommend!

Nelson wedding
We didn’t know what would happen when Covid hit in March for our July 2020 wedding but we came out on top and are happily married! We are so happy we used Steve for our wedding!

Cautiously recommend
I write honest reviews and our dj was very good when he arrived but he was also over two hours late and got there when the ceremony was suppose to be starting. I was told he would be there at 1 am didn't get there until after 3 pm. He was very apologetic and did great when he was there I just wasn't impressed by the tardiness. I also wasn't super impressed by the lack of communication. When we did talk it was good but I feel like if he knew he was missing information he could have contacted me. I would cautiously recommend to someone and tell them to make sure they are super clear in details such as time.

This was a terrible job. The microphones kept glitching at the rehearsal and ruined the MCs speaking. The man in charge of the sound did not know what he was doing and it showed throughout the reception. The aux from the sound system also messed up and my brother ended up taking a corded microphone and putting it to the projector. This was a wedding reception for 400 people. The sound system made the event look cheap and dysfunctional.
The worst part of this was when I contacted Steve. He apologized for the ordeal but his solution to the mistake on his part was a $50 refund... We spent over $2000 on the setup.
I really liked working with Steve prior to all this. However, this was not how I wanted my wedding reception to turn out.
