  Easy and fun

  We hired Dakota for our engagement shoot in Palm Springs. There was a general aesthetic we were looking for, but weren't sure where to actually shoot around the city. Dakota scoped out awesome locations for us and made us feel super comfortable throughout the day. She gave us direction to ensure we'd get good shots but it was never pose-y or contrived - something that was very important to us. We got our photos back quickly and we love them! Dakota not only does a great job but she's also the sweetest :)

  Horrible. The worst

  Dakota was our wedding reception photographer. She was nice and helpful throughout the planning process and even on the day of the reception. She mentioned the photos will be ready in about 2-3 weeks. I didn’t hear from her for over 3 weeks so I checked in. She got back to me in a few days and said she was sick but the photos will be send to me in the next day or two. I waited and nothing. So, of course I check in, no response. Over the course of the next 1.5 months I’d check in, she doesn’t respond. She finally gets back to me saying the photos were sent, maybe check spam. Nothing. So I asked her to resend. Silence. Quieter than ghosts. During this time I’ve called, texted, emailed, DM, tried just about everything I can think of. Nothing. Silence. I’m so upset and frustrated at her lack of response. She’s shown to be unprofessional, and irresponsible. For all I know she could be a scam artist. If I could give negative stars in this review I would. I will never refer her to any of my friends.
