We put Dahn Tahn DJ through the ringer and they did a great job! Because of Covid we postponed and changed dates 3 times and they were with us thru it all. Lazz called us to prepare a line up and then gave us a week to prepare everything and get it back to him. Everything is done on their site so It’s super easy and can change things if need be. Lazz showed up hours early to set up. It was a hybrid indoor/outdoor (mainly outdoor) and they did a great job making sure music was heard everywhere. He did a good job helping us keep our timeline and couldn’t ask for any better! Very professional! great job!! -

Lazz was absolutely amazing to work with! He definitely knew how get all of our guest on the dance floor! I’ve never actually seen so many people dancing at a wedding (and I’m not just saying that because it was MY wedding) the dance floor was packed all night! We had a full 4 hours of dancing and the dance floor was full the whole time! Lazz was professional and made all necessary announcements and even went along with the special request we had for him. (We wanted to prank the best man with cut off music during his speech - he nailed this and it was so funny. And he also got everyone out of the venue for our sparkler send off/ last dance -even went above and beyond and got a video of this for me which I am so thankful for!) The uplighting, monogram and dancing on the clouds were extra details that Lazz provided that made our night even more special. I honestly couldn’t have picked a better DJ to work with and I will recommend him to everyone! -

Lazz is amazing! His communication before the wedding to make sure we were all on the same page was great. We let him have full control of the dinner and reception music and he did an awesome job reading the room and getting people on the dance floor. He also checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we stayed on schedule. We got a ton of compliments on his music choices and could not have been happier with Dahn Tahn DJs! -

10/10 would recommend Lazz if you want your event to run smoothly!
From the start Lazz was so knowledgeable helping us figure out all our songs, answered our questions and was generally helpful planning the night out. He was on board with our vision and was ready to help it become a reality.
He kept the night (and us) running on time! Gave recommendations but ultimately deferred to our decisions. Music selections were great and played songs that we requested. Felt like he was on our team through the night and that we were in it together!
Believe me, if you are looking for a great DJ yo want Lazz! -

Dahn Jahn Djs was perfect!
Lazz was the perfect DJ for our wedding. He took the time to get to know us and understand what vibe we wanted for our reception. Lazz is also very detail oriented as he reviewed our timeline and song list with us a few times in the weeks leading up to the wedding. I also appreciated how flexible Lazz was the day of the wedding as we ended up moving up our dollar dance up a few minutes and how we facilitated communicating with us overall. I would definitely recommend Lazz for your reception! -

Lazz was the absolute BEST!!
If you are looking for DJ services, Dahn Tahn DJs is the absolute best!
From the moment that we contacted them, they have went above and beyond with answering emails, text, and phone calls. Lazz was on top of everything from the planning, to everything question all they way up to the day of our wedding.and was phenomenal at the wedding!
He not only was our DJ, he was a guest and he took so many memorable pictures for us.
HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT, you cannot go wrong with having them as your DJs -

We had an incredible experience with Dahn Tahn DJ’s and Lazz! From start to finish, Lazz was professional, responsive, and so easy to work with. He took the time to understand our vision and get to know us, offered great suggestions, and made sure everything ran seamlessly during our wedding reception. The dance floor was packed all night, and our guests are still raving about how perfect the music was! He also respected our “do not play” list completely, which we really appreciated. I heard about and met Lazz from Dahntahn DJs through my venue as he was on their preferred vendor list. At first, I was hesitant to book a DJ that no one I knew had used in the past but as soon as I started working with Lazz all of those doubts subsided. Lazz was amazing, and went above and beyond what he needed to in order to make my day everything I could imagine. Lazz was personal, attentive, professional, friendly, fun, communicative, knowledgeable, and patient as I am sure I asked 1000000 questions too many. It was evident in getting to know him that he is truly passionate about his work and that he cares about discovering what it is that the bride and groom wanted each step of the way, and helping that dream become a reality. When I booked DahnTahn DJs we also used Lazz For our projected monogram, uplighting for the entire venue, and “dancing on the clouds” fog effect during our first dance. As Lazz went through his wedding season, he would often send me videos and pictures of things I booked him for so i could visualize what was possible with those “add on services”. It was such a personal and caring gesture and I so greatly appreciated how involved he was. Lazz met with us at our venue multiple times throughout our wedding planning process and was so patient and kind each time as I doubted myself, stressed, asked questions and wanted to play with uplighting colors! He found a way to create a shade of blue that didn’t even exist in his color queue for our uplighting, allowed us to make multiple changes to our monogram, and even met with my maid of honor and I 2 days before our wedding to go over bridal party entrance songs and practice the powerpoint of pics I had to play during our father/daughter dance. Not to mention the dancing on the clouds: WOW. It was gorgeous and perfect and absolutely took our first dance to a new level! He truly was such a large factor in everything good that happened during my wedding day. I cannot forget the thing I am most grateful for!! During my bridal party entrances, first dance, and throughout the reception he had a Coworker take some pictures and videos with a GoPro for me. I cannot express how much this meant to me when he texted them over the following day. I didn’t even know that was happening and he managed to catch things my photographer and videographer didn’t catch, or weren’t there for. I told him multiple times that i will cherish those Videos forever (they are hysterical). It was such a sweet gesture that allowed me to see all the fun my friends and family were having during the reception that i otherwise would have missed. If you are looking for a DJ who offers so much more than just day of DJ-ing, truly cares about your experience, and will honestly become a friend after your wedding, look no further than Lazz from Dahntahn DJs. You will not be disappointed. -

Lazz was an amazing DJ from the consult to the wedding! He listened to every single thing we said especially what kind of music to play. We made a playlist of some stuff we wanted to hear and he did a FANTASTIC job at reading the crowd and playing what they needed to hear and playing stuff we wanted to hear. This was my 3rd wedding in 2 months and I hate the generic wedding reception songs that I have been hearing again and again. Even one of my bridesmaids commented how she loved how the DJ was playing exactly what we all wanted since hers did not really listen to her requests. He knows exactly when to play the traditional songs to get people dancing and when to throw in requests. I am beyond thrilled and would recommend Dahn Tahn Djs to anyone. -Married on 6/12/21- -

Lazz was awesome! He was able to accommodate last minute changes, provide recommendations, and just make everything go smoothly. We had been to a wedding before where he was there and we loved him ever since and knew we wanted to see if he could DJ our wedding as well. He played lots of fun and classic things, got people dancing but also fit in some of the strange requests and kept the party lively. The venue even commented that we had a very active dancefloor! We also did the dancing on the clouds for the first dance and it was beautiful! -

We heard great things about Lazz and his DJ services and we were NOT disappointed.
He offers packages with services for everything you could want from a DJ at a great price with promotional discounts couples can take advantage of. He met with us before the wedding day to make sure he knew everything we dreamed of for our special day and made sure things we never even thought of were taken care of. The day of went so smoothly, there was never a lull in the activities and no one was left feeling bored or unsure what to do, thanks to Lazz! We got compliments on the music played from the oldest and youngest guests in attendance. He also took videos and pictures of the venue all set up before guests got there so we could see it and of everyone on the dance floor having a great time. That was something we really appreciated looking back.
Most importantly, Lazz has the mindset that this is YOUR day and he does everything he can to make to the bride and groom (not parents, in-laws, bridal party, etc.) happy!

Lazz from Dahn Tahn DJs was absolutely amazing to work with! Due to Covid, we had to change the location of our wedding 7 weeks before the date, but Lazz reassured us that he would be there no matter what. From picking out our uplighting colors, to music genres and even having a few challenging requests, Lazz made it all happen! Lazz arrived early and made sure to check with my husband and I when it came to our uplighting to guarantee we liked the placement due to the layout being a bit challenging. Lazz really pays attention to the crowd and what draws them to the dance floor! Three months later, our friends and family continue to tell us how great our DJ and music choices were. If you are looking for not only a great DJ, but someone who is passionate and committed to what he does, Lazz is your guy! I honestly can't recommend Lazz from Dahn Tahn DJs enough! We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful DJ, especially during such a stressful year for a wedding! -

Awesome night
Lazz was very professional and easy to work with. Prior to the wedding, we sat down to discuss the reception from start to finish. I could tell from the first conversation that Lazz knew what he was doing. He was very good with making sure we knew the day was about us and what we wanted. The night went exactly as we had planned, no hiccups. Every song we wanted was played including some jam band songs most people have never heard of. We even requested "The Reigns of Castamere" from Game of Thrones to played during dinner as a joke and Lazz was able to pull it off for us. Throughout the reception he would come find me or my wife to let us know how much time we had until the next thing on our schedule. The songs choices were great. Some slower/older songs earlier on while the older guests were still there and then things got cranked up as the night went on. I had multiple guests tell me they've never seen the dance floor stay packed from start to finish. Huge credit to Lazz for playing songs that kept our guests heading back out to the dance floor all night. We also rented a dry ice machine as well. He had limited experience with the machine prior to our wedding but Lazz went out of his way to send us multiple videos of him testing the machine and showing us how it worked. We used it for our first dance and it made our pictures look amazing. Highly recommend renting the machine! If you want your wedding day to go smoothly and the dance floor to be packed all night then Lazz is your guy! -

Best DJ in the Burgh
We had originally booked Lazz through the Chartiers Room but then COVID hit and we decided to move our wedding reception outdoors and change the date. Lazz was so awesome and understanding with all the changes. He even came out to the new venue a couple months before to see how uplighting looked and to check out the new place since it was a brand new wedding venue. The day of the wedding couldn’t have went more smooth with him as our DJ. He kept the whole reception on track and kept everyone on the dance floor. I even had guests tell me after that they have never seen a dance floor so packed. We were also one of the the first couples to use his fog machine and it couldn’t have turned out better. The pictures of our first dance with the fog turned out beautiful! I would give Lazz more stars if I could, he was awesome and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ! -

Dahntahn DJ is amazing and is the best pick for events
Lazz is an amazing DJ. He kept me on track all night long and I when I asked him to come get me in a certain time or remind me he did. He was the right DJ for our wedding. He made everything run smooth and kept the dancing all night long. He always answered promptly unless he was busy, but always answered within a few days. Lazz was extremely professional in both planning and for the day of. We were impressed by his thoroughness in planning, flexibility, and skills at MC'ing. The music felt a little loud for the space at times, but not overbearingly so. There was also an issue with the refund, but at the we were pleasantly surprised at how quick it was resolved. We would absolutely recommend him again for couples looking for a DJ. -

Dahntahn djs is a very reasonably priced dj company. I booked them for my wedding, as i had been to a wedding they dj at and I thought they did a wonderful job. However, I specifically requested lazz, as he was the dj at the previous wedding i had been to, booked atleast a year in advance. Paid in full 11 months in advance. 7 months before my wedding we meet at my venue and I find out lazz will not be my dj, as another couple booked the same day and lazz sets up the photobooth so he had to do their wedding instead of ours. They were very accommodating and apologized for the miscommunication, and even gave us Complementary uplighting as it was something we were debating on adding on. Our dj ended up being Josh, he's a full partner in the company. althought we had met with lazz ×3 times in person before finding out he wasnt going to be our dj, we hadnt met josh not 1 time. Josh insisted we used the online portal to fill out all our information, instead of the paper ones in the folder we got from lazz. We had a few issues with the site deleting everything after we spent alot of time filling it out, however we finally got it to save our information. I had asked Josh if we could set up a call the week of the wedding to go over everything. On the call Josh said he had also had issues getting into the site and was unable to see any of our information we filled out. This was 3 days before our wedding. So I sent him screenshot of everything we had filled out and he had them printed and all was fine. I get to my wedding reception, eat dinner, and when we are walking around talking with guests he comes up and asks me which songs are "do not play" vs "must play" bc he was having trouble reading them on the sheet. So i told him which was which and that was it. Only half of my must play songs were played. I only had maybe at max 10 on their to begin with. At the end of the night when there was time for 2 songs, he came up as asked my husband and I if there was anything left we wanted to hear. So we gave him 2 songs and he played them, it was just a bit frustrating that I had a list of songs I wanted to hear and they didnt even all get played, and i was still being asked what i wanted to hear even when he had a sheet with that information. I also had guests tell me the next day every time they went to request a song he was never up at the dj table. Im not sure where he was at these times but I had atleast 3 people tell me this the next day. Overall, he was a good dj, my guests told me the music was great and they had a good night, I was just a bit disappointed in those few things. Had he told me 1-2 weeks prior to my wedding he had issues getting into the online portal, I would have gladly also filled out the paper copies too. But finding out 3 days before my wedding he hadn't even been able to look at our information, and didnt tell me did not sit very well with me, as I was the one to reach out and ask if we could go over everything. At the end of the day, I would still recommend dahntahn djs. The night was fun, good music, dance floor was going. I would just make sure 100% if you have any "must play" songs it is written very clearly on paper and handed directly to the dj to ensure they get played.
