I had the absolute pleasure of being photographed by Debbie for my bridal shower this year, and she did a phenomenal job. From the moment she arrived, her energy was incredible; she’s fun, funny, and such a joy to be around. She has this rare ability to walk into a room and instantly elevate the vibe, which matters so much during events where emotions are high, and things don’t always go exactly as planned.
What truly sets Debbie apart is her ability to deliver a gallery that looks and feels perfect, even when real-life conditions aren’t. In the world of events, something will always deviate from the plan; that’s just the nature of it, but Debbie captures the moments in a way that lets you hold onto only the joy, the beauty, and the fun forever. Her photos don’t just document the day, they preserve the feeling you want to remember.
I’ve also had the pleasure of working with Debbie professionally on several intimate weddings and minimonies, with me as the planner/coordinator and her as the photographer. I’m not sure where to begin with just how amazing Debbie is. Her attention to detail and professionalism is an 100 out of 10. The way she is patient with couples to take their photos and how important it is to her that you feel comfortable taking these pictures is just a testament to her character and commitment to photography. My partner and I eloped on a cold winter day and she was there in the freezing weather capturing all the shots she thought would make the best memories. Debbie made our experience so much fun and special. We are both very shy and she got us to come out of our shell. This experience has been incredible and we cannot thank her enough. -

As a wedding vendor in the industry for about a decade, we've worked with our fair share of photographers and Debbie-Jean is one of the absolute best! We've often hear from couples how awkward they feel about having their pictures taken, but Debbie-Jean has a way of transforming those internal awkward vibes into serious magic. She masterfully guides couples to lean into their natural charisma and love for one another. It's really incredible to witness, as an outsider, and I'm fortunate enough to have seen it time and time again. Debbie-jean was a gem of a find, not only for bang for buck, but also she was incredibly thoughtful and understanding from start to finish. She made the session extremely relaxing and fun for my husband and me, and was always down for any location or pose suggestions. It felt like a collaboration from start to finish and we have the pictures to prove it!
She is also extremely knowledgeable of the city/boroughs and gave excellent suggestions when asked. Honestly had such a good experience that if in the future we are looking for professional images, we won't be looking at anyone but Debbie-jean! Truly could not recommend her enough!! -

DebbieJean was the ultimate professional. We used her as our wedding photographer and she totally exceeded all of our expectations. She put us at ease from the very first minute. There was no awkward posing or standing around, it all felt so natural. We enjoyed our day so much. We didn't stop laughing the whole time. DebbieJean was also on hand to help with attire and really couldn't do enough for us. The service was prompt and professional. DebbieJean stayed in touch throughout the process, providing updates leading up to the wedding and the following days. DebbieJean even stepped up and became our witness. Neither of us are particularly comfortable having our photograph taken but the results are stunning. DebbieJean made good use of the venue and surrounding areas to produce a beautiful set of prints. We are still working our way through them and trying to decide which ones to display around our home but it's so difficult as they are all so beautiful. All our friends have said how gorgeous they are. Thank you DebbieJean. -

We had the best experience with Debbie-Jean, and could not be happier.
We wanted our Bridal photos to have a "non-bridal" theme, we just wanted Debbie to capture a moment of two people having fun on a day that happened to be their wedding (elopment day). We gave Debbie-Jean a very vague idea of what we were looking for and having never have even stepped foot in NYC prior to our elopment we put all our trust in Debbie-Jean. The locations she picked for our shoot were just perfect, and the end result could not have been any better. She completely took our vision and ran with it. -

Unbelievably talented!
Debbie and her team shot our wedding and has our highest recommendation. My husband and I aren’t big on posed photos. She listened to what we wanted, came up with a perfect plan for the day and the results are magic. She is thoughtful, talented, fun and calm. Debbie was referred to us by a friend to shoot our small city-clerk wedding in NYC. She is as warm and personable a person as she is a talented, knowledgeable photographer with incredible energy and enthusiasm (without being annoyingly perky or chipper). We had a couple of family members with special mobility needs, which Debbie handled with aplomb, making our whole party feel comfortable and festive throughout shooting. The shots turned out beautifully. You could not ask for a better photographer or better human being to have at your wedding or special event. -

From beginning to end, Debbie went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of the surprise proposal was perfectly captured.
To start, Debbie scheduled time to discuss my preferences and vision for the shoot. This attention to detail set them apart from other photographers.
During the proposal, Debbie was incredibly discreet and professional, capturing every heartfelt moment without ever being intrusive.

Perfect Suprise Engagement Shoot
We had a fantastic experience with Debbie for our engagement photos. She arrived early to capture the big moment, then walked us through a ~20 minute photoshoot in the vicinity. It was obviously an emotional experience for us, but Debbie met the moment with calm energy and great direction. We don't usually photograph well, but the photos turned out excellent. It was such a pleasure working with Debbie-jean. She took engagement photos for myself and my fiancé. We were both a bit nervous ahead of time because we're not the best at posing or being in front of cameras generally, but she made it so easy and fun by chatting with us and suggesting positions, and then allowing us to interact within those positions to get super sweet, candid moments captured. Eloped in NY
Debbie was absolutely amazing on our wedding day. We wouldn't have even known she was there during the ceremony, and the moments she captured were beautiful. My husband is very camera shy and she made him feel so comfortable and at ease, he still talks about it almost 3 years later. Debbie captured the essence of our marriage, which was just love and commitment between the two of us. Debbie included our family so beautifully, my father has since passed and I am forever grateful for how she captured him during the day. Great Photographer!
My husband and I had our engagement shoot in March and despite the cold weather (it was about 25 degrees that day!), she captured some truly amazing images that we will cherish forever.
