DJ Stephen is insanely great!
We threw a Catholic wedding one day and an Indian wedding the next day, and Stephen was our DJ for both events. To our complete surprise, both receptions had people on the dance floor the entire time. That is hours and hours of great music that got people dancing all night long for two consecutive nights!
Best of all, Stephen does the extra work that you would not expect from a typical DJ. He organized our family entrances, lining everyone up and making sure the correct songs were queued. He added songs that we never thought to add to our reception playlist but ended up being perfect for the nights. And he is keenly aware of the dance floor's temperature, excellently handling the Indian music despite not being familiar with that genre.
I highly recommend using Stephen for your next big event! Not only will you not regret it, but you and your audience will have a great and fantastic time on the dance floor!

The best dj mc
From our first call with Stephen we were confident that he would make our big day a great one! His professionalism, attentiveness and skill shined through. Fast-forward to our wedding day and we were right Stephen went above and beyond to make sure that our day was the best day ever. Not only was he a wonderful DJ, he was a great MC and he would even check on us throughout the night to make sure we were having a great time. I’m a wedding planner in Miami and I met Stephen through one of my brides. Since the beginning he was extremely professional and so easy to work with. A few months after working with him, I decided he would be DJing my own wedding. Fast forward to that (a month ago) and I don’t regret my choice one bit. He’s not only a great person, but he has the experience and knowledge needed for the part. The process was smooth and he had my guests dancing all night with the best variety! I can’t recommend him enough. If you want a great party, you need great music and Stephen does exactly that :)

Very happy bride and groom!
My husband and I got married at Thalatta Estate in Oct 2023 and I must say we are so happy with Stephen's DJ/MC services! He was such a well spoken MC and kept the party going. Prior to our wedding, he provided us access to a portal to fill out music preferences as well as a "must play" and "do no play list". He stuck to all of our requests and worked well with our planner to ensure all events occurred on time. We also added CO2 guns to our package during hora loca which was an absolute blast. DJ Stephen did an amazing job at our wedding! He kept our guest dancing all night long! Before the event, we had a virtual meeting with DJ Stephen for him to get to know us a little bit. We then filled out a quick survey to select the types of music we wanted played at our wedding. We even had an opportunity to list “must haves” and “don’t play” songs. DJ Stephen made the PERFECT song selections and somehow really nailed exactly what we wanted to keep our guests up on their feet! One extra special request we made was a mixed track for our first dance. Sure enough DJ Stephen executed that flawlessly! We highly recommend DJ Stephen for any future event!

Amazing Wedding DJ
When it came time to book a DJ for our wedding, we didn't even inquire with anyone else. Stephen has DJd for family parties in the past and also came recommended by friends. We booked him right away after confirming availability and he was quick to answer our questions. So many of our guests have told us they had so much fun at our wedding and of course that wouldn't have been possible without Stephen! He was so easy to work with and has a website where you can enter all of your requested music/information. We recently hired DJ Stephen for our wedding and are so happy with our choice! He was so easy to work with and was very professional during the planning process. The lighting he used for the space was beautiful and really enhanced the beauty of the space, and the photobooth was a great addition to a high energy evening. My favorite though, was the way Stephen read our preferred music list and really crafted a fun, high-energy lineup of music that ensured everyone at the party had a reason to get up and dance. The Party was an absolute banger

Stephen is an amazing DJ an EmCee, we hired him for our ceremony music and reception. He went above and beyond for our “out of the box” wedding. We are so happy that we chose Stephen to be our DJ! He was so responsive with any questions we had and always made sure to put us first. His website was so easy to navigate and he was very detailed in his approach to make sure everything went off without a hitch. We booked D.J. Stephen Peters and his sister company LNS Photobooth for our wedding this past weekend and we are so incredibly thankful that we did! Stephen was an incredibly DJ – he made our ceremony feel so special, and once the dance floor was open, he kept everyone going all night! He even helped our family execute one of the most amazing surprises for us… Go Gators! The photobooth was an absolute HIT!!! Our friends and family spent most of the time running back and forth taking more pictures and just laughing. We were able to get a copy of each one and it was so special to go through them all the next day… the best memories. DJ Stephen Peters made the dance floor POPPIN!!! We discussed music often since I am very specific with my taste and my parents are more old school with their music taste. He managed to blend both of our music tastes and it was BEYOND fun!!! The music choice, the transitions, even the music during the dinner was amazing (for context, my mom does not really like Bad Bunny but I'm a huge fan. DJ Stephen put classical piano bad bunny music during dinner and it was AWESOME!). He was so engaging and so inviting to everyone and especially my family. We also hired Stephen for the uplights, which he was so helpful and accommodating for since I wanted very specific colors. We also hired him for the Photobooth and that was possibly the most popular thing amongst our guests. Music for the wedding was in my top 3 priority of things and DJ Stephen went beyond expectations. My wedding was a bit over a week ago and I'm still reeling about how much fun we had on the dance floor. It was perfection and I can never thank him enough.

Can’t say enough amazing things about DJ Steven! I will never forget my wedding and the fun we had! We had a virtual meeting with Steven before our wedding to go over the music we wanted for cocktail hour, reception, and dancing - I was very specific for the vibe I was going for cocktail hour and DJ Steven delivered that and more! The music during the dancing portion of the night was beyond my dreams, all the fun I was hoping for and smooth transitions within songs, we even had a conga line, THE BEST! We’re a very diverse group and D.J. Stephen Peters was able to blend all our music tastes together to keep us partying all night long. Danced all night!
Our wedding was Feb 2022 and it is still the talk of our friends and family. We had a backyard reception and Dj Louie just killed it. I was recommended DJ Stephen Peters team by a family friend and it was the best decision I made! From the get-go, Stephen touched base with me and discussed our vision and also gave his professional input. Our wedding was everything anyone could have ever asked for. Our DJ started and kept our party going. DJ Stephen Peters was so easy to work with and listened to everything we wanted and took it to another level. He had everyone on the dance floor moving all night long. Stephen is quite literally the absolute best DJ!!! Our wedding was so much fun and I attribute that mostly to the fact that every person was dancing all night long!! Hands Down - The Best DJ in Miami
We may be biased, but we had the pleasure of having the best DJ in Miami perform at our wedding. He not only played our top requests, but also the genres of music we selected. During the pandemic we had to postpone our wedding two times. He was unbelievably understanding and professional throughout. Stephen was always very reassuring and made us feel hopeful that our big day was just around the corner. We could never repay him for his kindness and his humanity during this incredibly difficult time. He was always willing to hop on a quick call to answer our hundreds of questions / requests like pronouncing everyone’s name a specific way (I know, we’re pretty much insane). He did a great job and pronounced everyone’s names perfectly, by the way! His attention to detail is impeccable. He chose the absolute perfect places to set up his booth, the photo booth, and the sparkler machine for our entrance into the reception. Can we talk about the sparklers for a second? The hype was real! He timed the sparklers perfectly for our big entrance and also for our dip during our first dance. His energy was infectious, and he had everyone dancing the entire night. We were afraid there might be a lull at times but there zero downtime, everyone (and I mean everyone) was dancing and having a good time! He read the room perfectly and had a mix of music that the crowd could vibe with. Stephen was kind enough to even supply our officiant with a microphone as she had requested when the venue was unable to. We highly recommend DJ Stephen Peters. Also, it came as no surprise to have had several of our guests reach out to us asking for his information for upcoming events in their lives. He is the best DJ in Miami hands down.

I have to thank DJ Stephen for making my wedding day special ! He covered both the ceremony music as well as the reception . I was having trouble finding my ceremony music and he was able to make suggestions and i was able to choose the perfect songs ! As far as the reception , he really had the crowd going ! I was so busy with other details of my wedding that i didn’t have an opportunity to really choose any music for the reception , just genres . He was able to pick up on the vibe of the party and his choice of music was perfect ! I had guests complement me on the DJ. I also booked the photobooth with him and it was such a great touch . Guests had fun with it and I have great memories to keep . Book DJ Stephen , you won’t regret it ! One of the most important characteristics of a successful wedding reception is the music. Hiring DJ Stephen Peters was an outstanding decision. Commencing with his preparation and his attention to detail throughout the process resulted in a wedding reception that flowed magnificently. His organizational skills and overall institutional knowledge and experience allowed him to keep the guests engaged from the cocktail hour and throughout the reception. He and his staff were in sync with the crowd. The dance floor was always hopping.
Stephen has all the latest technology available from lighting to his photo booth. He was familiar with all the nuisances of our venue. What an amazing experience with DJ Stephen.
He provides professional and qualify service. He is always available and able to help the client to ensure that their event will be a success.
His music is outstanding. Our guest were always on the dance floor and he really knows how to keep the crowd going.
Cocktail music was excellent also. He gave a good spin of up beat yet lounging style of music.
Great MC, he really took the time to make sure everything flowed well and stayed on schedule. His voice projects well and pleasant.
His photo booth is outstanding. Our guest got to enjoy hours of unlimited photos. I am glad we booked the photo booth because it was used all night by our guest and at the end we got all the images on digital format for us to keep (guest take home printed strips).
LED robots were a bit! Be sure to check them out. They really helped keep the party going till the end. The staff was very professional and truly enjoyed taking pictures with our guest (especially the kids).
DJ Stephen has outstanding lighting. It created an awesome look for the party.
We highly recommend Dj Stephen you will not be disappointed. He definitely has a good sense for guiding the guest to the dance floor and keeping them their all night long.

The best decision you can make.
My husband and I got married 9/12/2020. As you can imagine, we had many challenges planning a pandemic wedding, but we were set on our 9/12/2020 date. We planned a complete wedding in Chicago, IL, but a few months before our wedding, we had to relocate our entire wedding to Akron, Ohio.
I’m originally from Miami, FL and wanted to ensure we had a dj who could appropriately integrate the Miami/Hispanic side in this blended wedding.
I honestly don’t have the words to describe how AMAZING Stephen was throughout the entire planning process (for both cities). As great as it was to work with him up to the wedding, the results were even better. Everyone had a blast at my wedding. No matter where they originated from, they were on the dance floor. As per my husband’s elderly grandmother while grooving on the dance floor, “this is the most fun wedding I have ever been to”.
Stephen got our vision and executed beyond what we could have asked for. He is professional, flexible, and worth more than he charged. Our guests were raving about our DJ and the vendors all wanted his contact info.
As far as we are concerned, Stephen went above and beyond for us and we are so grateful to him.
He was booked for our Chicago wedding and assisted us in finding vendors to supply the dj equipment. He spoke to them to ensure they had everything he needed and reassured us after. When we made the decision to move the wedding to Akron, Ohio- Stephen was one of the first calls I made. I was nervous as I assumed that he wouldn’t want to travel during this time, but he was again on board and reassured us that as long as he was able to, he’d be at our wedding. Music pretty much makes a reception, so this was major to us. Stephen again talked to vendors in Akron to ensure the equipment was what we needed. The equipment company in Akron was less than desired so Stephen graciously offered to drive up to Akron (19 hours) and bring his equipment.
Our wedding was absolutely amazing. A big part of that is thanks to Stephen. Thank you isn’t enough. Hiring DJ Stephen Peters is the best decision you can make for your event.

Your wedding DJ is probably THE most important vendor that you hire for that day....what's a good party without good music? Stephen definitely didn't disappoint. His online portal makes it super easy to pick all of your wedding songs for the ceremony and to pick what kind of music you want for the party. We had used Stephen before for another party so I knew he wouldn't disappoint, but he really outdid himself at our wedding. He played the perfect mix of genres that had the dance floor full the entire night. He also provided the photo booth for our wedding which was a hit! Confetti shower was also provided by him and really added a lot. I promise you will not be disappointed if you hire him for your wedding or for any other party!

The best time.....EVER!
Wonderful!! We met Stephen and his team through our wedding planner. The entire experience was amazing. Stephen kept in contact with us throughout the planning process, he has an amazing music portal that takes the stress out of choosing your songs. Stephen also recommended alternative songs that we used and sounded so much better than the original songs we were thinking of. He is such a professional and amazing at what he does. Music was very important to us during the wedding planning . Our theme was "good music..good food...amazing time!" and Stephen went above and beyond. We had 4 generations of families from different cultures and faiths all on the dance floor. Our guests kept saying " I have not danced so much..that was amazing!" . Best DJ ever!
My husband and I had our wedding at the Coral Gables Country Club this past November. Stephen truly made our dream wedding come true! He is very professional, constantly kept in touch and worked with me to get the best price possible as I was on a tight budget. My husband and I met with him before the wedding to discuss timeline and song choices and he was very organized. The day of the wedding he surprised my husband and I with a monogram of the first initial of our last name. It was such a wonderful surprise and added a beautiful touch to the reception, I truly appreciated that. He kept everyone dancing the whole night. Fun fact, as a bride and groom we were constantly walking around greeting everyone and Stephen made sure we had a drink in our hand ;). Very attentive. Thank you for making our wedding so much fun! Stephen did an amazing job at our wedding! I can’t recommend him highly enough! He was recommended by our venue and was very responsive and professional during the planning process. While he put us at ease, we were still nervous because we had never seen him work before and we were nervous that we would have a dead dance floor. From the first song all the way to the end of the reception, Stephen was able to read a crowd and keep people hype. It was amazing. The dance floor was packed the entire time and we couldn’t be happier. We also used him for uplights, which were lovely, and our ceremony and cocktail hour, which went off without a hitch. In addition to that, we hired him for the photo booth and it was great! The props were great and all of our guests had a blast!
We had the best time at our wedding and so did all of our guests and we have Stephen to thank in large part for that. Could not be happier. Will recommend him to everyone and use him again for any future parties!

Get ready to dance the night away!
Stephen was recommended to us by a work friend. He was not only professional in his work ethics but he treats you like family. Stephen made the night memorable. From the cocktail hour, to the first dance (where we were truly dancing on clouds), Stephen ensure the night would always be remembered. He even accommodated a last minute request!. He made the entire experience enjoyable yet organized, from the website planning to phone sessions to make sure the night was just perfect.
Our family loves to dance and Stephen was able to read the crowd in a way that there wasn't one person who did not dance and have a good time. The way he transitioned from genre to genre was perfect, he made sure to incorporate everyone in the style of music he selected.
We also requested the photo booth option, lets just say the pictures we have of our family and friends are memorable! He has great props, and individualized the print options to fit our style.

We were recommended DJ Stephens through our wedding planner Jessyca (from Events by Jess who also was absolutely amazing ;))and was so grateful to find such an awesome DJ/MC for our wedding. He was so affordable compared to other DJs and did not disappoint. He also severed as an excellent MC as well helping to guide the flow of our event. DJ Stephens had an online portal he used to help us input song requests and also to help us think about what songs we needed at certain points. We chatted with him several times during our planning process and after describing the type of vibe we wanted for our wedding which was an island type of feel with reggae mixed with some bachata music he hit the nail on the head with what we wanted. We had our wedding at a non-traditional venue site (backyard of a private residence) and he knew exactly where to set up and rolled with the punches. We had multiple guests comment on the music and we were so happy with how everything turned out. Thank you DJ Stevens for an amazing event! I hired L&S for my best friends wedding as my present to the couple. I have to say I was was not disappointed. They had amazing props to use. I even requested some special made to go with their theme of a “match made in heaven” and they delivered. He is extremely organized in terms of planning with his website, has top of the line gear & was awesome at reading the crowd when it was time to party. I've DJed in the past myself and the stuff he was able to pull in terms of going from genre to genre was not only impressive, but well timed and executed. He had just about every song people asked for and if he didn't have it, he was able to download it and play it within minutes.
Also, the photo booth was one of the highlights of the party w/ great props & friendly attendants.

DJ Stephen Peters was recommended to us by some colleagues from college. From the initial conversation, I knew Stephen would be our DJ. He was always quick to follow up with my e-mails. When we met in person, I felt like I had known him for years. Both times we met up to plan the timeline, songs, etc, he was flexible in our meeting location so it would be convenient for us. He understood that we didn't want someone to play music from an iPod, but rather a real DJ who can mix music and keep the crowd going. Which is exactly what he did! He kept the party going all night long! Best part is that my husband and I both have hispanic last names, which wasn't not a problem for Stephen. He speaks both English and Spanish very fluently. I would recommend Stephen for all events without thinking twice!

Dj Stephen did an excellent job at my wedding! He was always available, easy to reach, and his website made it simple to choose my wedding music. Stephen also did a great job catering to the different cultures/music tastes of my guests. Everyone was dancing and enjoying, there was no lag or dead time. I highly recommend DJ Stephen!

I don't think I ever got off the dance floor!!! Stephen was fantastic!!! I loved how easy it was to create a playlist using his site and how organized he was!! He is super professional and friendly. He has great knowledge of music and can definitely get a crowd on their feet. The cost for everything was very affordable and he did a wonderful job adding that extra wow factor to the venue with the lights. Thank you Stephen!!

Just speaking to Stephen on the phone, you can hear the charisma. He delivered a wonderful job as a DJ and MC at my wedding. Everyone was on the dance floor and talking about it for days. It was beyond amazing to see so many cultural backgrounds dancing at our wedding. He really pulled the party atmosphere we were hoping for.

Stephen is not just any DJ. He sits with you, plans out your event, and helps you draw your timeline based on his experience. He has a state of the art website that makes everything easy and smooth. He even took the time to visit our venue to check out their lighting, sound system, etc. to make sure it was compatible and prevent any hiccups. He also provided great recommendations, from order of events to drummers and other vendors. He proved to be an invaluable asset for our wedding.
We always say there are two important factors to get a party going: liquor and music. Well Stephen took care of the music and turned our wedding into a party. Not only is he the best with the turntables but he is a bilingual MC like none I've ever heard before. Simply put, he made our wedding better. We have received compliments and praises for our DJ and have recommended him multiple times since our wedding.
We are eternally grateful for hiring him and for the ability to call him a friend.

Stephen is amazing! He def helped make my dream wedding come to life w/ his wonderful job in the lighting and music department. My husband and I still have guests complimenting us about both. A good sign of a great DJ is people were still partying long after the bride and groom left =)

Stephen did our lighting and DJ/MC for our wedding. He has a great website set up for you as a couple to input the music for your big day which is user friendly and makes things very easy! That day he showed up early to set up our up lighting and all his equipment. Stephen had a new idea for our first dance location and added some last minute spot light on us to make the change work, it was better than what we had originally planned! He is talented and knows what he's doing since he's been doing this for many years now. His mixing of music genres kept our dance floor PACKED all night and he also directed our night with his MC skills. He is funny, professional and very nice. He's also bilingual which helped us with our bilingual family. I would recommend Dj Stephen Peters to anyone... You will not be disappointed!!

Stephen is amazing! From the moment I met him, I knew I wanted to hire him. He’s very professional & at the same time he is very down to earth. He will work with your budget as well. He knows his music and knows his equipment. He’s got a lot to offer. Got all the extras you may want or need. He gave me suggestions when I asked for them & knew exactly what would work for my crowd.
He’s also got a lot of experience under his belt. He handles all of FIU’s big events & a lot of other companies. He was awesome at our wedding. He’s got a great speaking voice & knows how to pronounce names correctly. (That was huge for me.) He helped make our wedding a lot of fun. He’s interactive with the crowd & kept them dancing. I didn’t sit down once! He had me dancing the whole time. He was super attentive to hubby & I also. I felt like he was my other DOC. He even brought over drinks for us at one point. You can tell that he loves what he does & is happy to be there. I've also attended another wedding that he was the DJ and he was great! I’m telling you, he is more than just a DJ. I highly recommend Stephen Peters!!!

There's not much I can say about Stephen, other than he is absolutely awesome!!!! I had no doubt he was going to keep the party going all night!! I chose him because his package is awesome for the price, he even includes a facade, he is bilingual, and he also offers MC services so you get all the package for the price of one! I also got uplights with him and it was a hit - the venue looked stunning!!! He's super professional and fun, everyone loves him! I'm so happy we chose him!

Great Beats and Vibes for our Wedding Day!
Stephen was so wonderful!! He was a skilled MC, Mixed the father daughter dance of songs and played awesome music on the dance floor all night long! I felt so relaxed all night knowing Stephen was behind the decks and MCing the night, thank you again!!! Everyone LOVED his music!!!
We had our wedding in 2022. Stephen was a great DJ and everyone has not stopped talking about how great his work was, the dance floor was occupied all night! He’s a very kind person and truly was the only person who made us feel great and confident when we spoke to him over the phone. The ONLY issue I had was poor response time as we got closer to the wedding. It was stressful not knowing if our DJ was going to make it or not due to text messages being left without response. He did apologize and communicated the life events he was going through so I do understand the delay. Thankfully everything worked out but we would have loved to feel a little more relaxed leading up to the wedding.

We booked this DJ very far in advance. He is a very nice individual but has poor response time. 2 weeks before my wedding it took 6 days to get a response from him. He has you input your “must play” songs and then ended up mixing them with other songs. I would say his DJ style is not for weddings. If someone tell you to play a song I recommend you don’t mix it into another song, it means they like this song and want to hear it I’m original form!. Very expensive for what you get

Horrible - Stay Away!
Ok - I thought long and hard about doing this, but I find it to be only fair that I warn you all about my experience. I hired DJ Stephens for my wedding, however he was unavailable. He suggested I use his partner Luis and I agreed. THAT was the biggest mistake of my life! We all know how important it is to have a good DJ at a wedding. Well, this was a nightmare. Luis did NOT play music during my cocktail hour, messed up MY name (bride) during the introduction and messed up my wedding party member names during the introductions. Luis was hardly ever at the DJ booth, he was roaming around, and the music being played was primarily from the 70's. Mind you, we met with Luis and DJ Stephen numerous times prior to discuss our wedding plan and music style. This was obviously not taken into account. Please, please, please think twice about using this vendor. Especially NOT Luis the other DJ. HORRIBLE! You will regret it. When I contacted DJ Stephens about the mishaps and even shared proof via a video of the errors Luis made, he gave me $200 back for the trouble. Really - $200, for all of the errors that were made. This is. complete nightmare. Please do not waste your time with this vendor, you will regret it.

My daughter in law booked him 11 months prior to wedding 11/5. 24 hours before wedding some guy calls and says I’m your Dj Peter going thru divorce not up to going this guy he sent was terrible ruined wedding played everything they had chosen not to play and nothing they had chosen.. ruined mother son dance, speeches. He was a disaster and this Peters did not care. DO NOT BOOK. Pathetic excuse as a vendor.

Unfortunate experience
DJ Stephen Peters was recommended to us by our wedding venue, Vignette Gardens. We met him during the venue food tasting and asked him a bunch of questions in addition to if he would be available for our wedding. He said yes. During this encounter, he did not explain that he works with a bunch of different DJs and that he may not be our DJ on our actual wedding day. It was difficult to find a good time to speak with him because he works during the day (which is totally understandable) and busy with his family/doing events during the evening. And he isn't very responsive to emails. 3 days before our wedding, we were informed that he would not be our DJ for our wedding. We were reassured that we would be given a capable DJ and Emcee. Stephen did not make a meeting that he set up for us to speak with our DJ--2 days before our wedding--without any prior notice. During that meeting we found out that the DJ had never played at our wedding venue and didn't even know what he would need to bring. While he was nice, he was no emcee and messed up names (even though we provided pronouncers) and the song timings that were given to him by our coordinator. He played the wrong entrance song for our reception and stopped and restarted the cake cutting song. He was flustered with our guests song requests and played a few of the requested songs from his phone, which sometimes weren't the best quality. These things did not ruin the night, but it was disappointing. When we told Stephen what happened, he asked us for proof in the form of videos to back up our claims. That was unfortunate because his wife works at the wedding venue and our coordinator showed her the list the DJ was provided to show that his music mistakes were not made as a result of no preparation on our end. We would've at least liked an apology or acknowledgement that what we experienced was not okay. We also used his photobooth service and that was stellar. The props were on-point, the photos were great quality, and the attendant was extremely nice.
