Excellent to work with!!

D & J's Catering was amazing to work with! The food service ran so smooth throughout the entire wedding and they went above and beyond with plating and serving! The food was equally great and our guests loved the desserts. I would recommend D & J's to anyone!!

Delicious!

D&J catering catered our wedding in May of 2023 and we could not be more pleased with our food! Jeanne was great to work with & was so flexible to our needs. Our guests are still talking about the food from our wedding…even people that were not at our wedding heard how great the food was! Bonus-we got to take home all of the leftovers at the end of the night. We are recommending them to everyone we know who is in the process of wedding planning & hope to be able to work with them again someday!

Such good food!

We did the taco bar for our wedding and it was DELICIOUS! My only regret was that we didn’t have time to eat more of it!
We also did 5 different flavors of cupcakes and they were all a major hit!

Jeannie was awesome to work with! We did appetizers, the comfort food buffet, cupcakes & a small cake for us to cut. Everyone loved the food and the cupcakes! We are even using her again for a big baby shower/diaper party! I would definitely recommend D& J Catering!

Jeannie was very friendly and easy to work with. She was also very responsive. And the food was very good. I love that she has budget friendly menus.

Everything was wonderful

The food was amazing, the servers efficient, polite, made sure the food was always full on the buffet & did not rush us or our guests. They packaged everything so nicely at the end of the meal too. Definitely recommend 1000%

I feel that one of the main things that can make or break your wedding reception is the food, and Jeannie from D&J Catering impressed everyone. All of the guests that we have talked to since our wedding have raved about the food. She was great to work with from the beginning and is the most reasonably priced in the area. Many people have asked for her information to use her for their events because of the quality of her food.

D & J has delicious food! We received many compliments on the food from our daughter's wedding reception. Jeannie is so professional and very easy to work with. Her staff is very accommodating. You will not have to worry about having enough food. There was lots left over and they packaged it all up for us to take home. Highly recommend D & J Catering!

D and J catering did such an amazing job at our wedding reception. The food was delicious, the prices were very reasonable, and the dessert bar was to die for! Didn't hear a negative comment from any guest in regards to the appetizers, main meal and desserts!

The food was great!!!! Everyone complimented the Roast Beef. We had planned for 160 people and had 130 strong confirmed and you wouldn't believe all the extra left over food. We honestly could've done 100 and been just fine., you get a lot of food for what you pay for. They are very accommodating to changes a few days before we had to change some things around but it all worked out just fine. A word of advice though you might want to have containers to put the food in because it is only in a big metal foil pan, and friends and family dont want to take a big pan home, lol. All in all D & J Catering did an AMAZING JOB!!!! Thank you for everything Jeannie !!! :)))

we had limited space after the reception for the food. at home we ended up putting the food into ziplock bags and wish we had done that at the venue. it would have saved sending the food in the large tins to many refrigerators

D & J Catering was so easy to work with! They have a huge menu to choose from and the prices were very reasonable! We even got a discount for the number of guests we had and we got to keep all of the leftover food at the end of the night! And most the importantly, the food was delicious!

D and J Catering helped make our reception unforgettable! The food was DELICIOUS (everyone is still coming up to me saying how great the food was and asking who catered)! They boxed up the leftovers for us and they set up and cleaned up everything! When I had a question, Jeannie was very quick and responding to my emails and made the whole process very smooth. The cupcakes were amazing, I am so glad we went that route. It was so nice not to have to worry about anything that night because they handled it all very nicely! Thank you so much!

I have never heard so many compliments about food at a wedding as I did for ours! Everyone loved it and there was so much left over at the end that all the family enjoyed it the day after the wedding also.

I had so many people ask me who made the food because they loved it so much. My aunt wanted them to cater an event, unfortunately she had 2 other events to cater that night. That's how good D & J is!! Great prices and service. They boxed up our food and we ate for weeks! The kitchen area looked better when we left, then when we got to the hall. If I ever need a caterer, I would definitely give them a call. She did our cupcakes too, we called it "The Tower of YUMMMM".

D&J catering was recommended by one of my bridesmaids, she had eaten their food at baby showers and mentioned that it was always good and always garnered lots of compliments. We met with Jeannie early on while we were researching different food options for the reception and were very impressed both with her professional demeanor and background as well as her facility. We were absolutely thrilled with the service and quality of the food. We enjoyed the meal at our wedding and so did all of the guest we spoke with. It wasn't your typical bland wedding buffet and people appreciated it. I was able to deal with D&J catering exclusively through email and that was an important factor for me. I also have to mention how affordable their prices are, especially for the quality and quantity of the food presented. We live in Toledo and other caterers we spoke with in our area wanted way more for what we considered to be inferior food. D&J also boxed up the leftovers and we were able to freeze them for future use as well as donate a lot to a local food kitchen. I would wholeheartedly recommend D&J for any reception or even in need of catering.

Wedding date - 10/10/09
D & J Catering offered numerous choices of main dishes and sides. The optional chocolate fountain was VERY popular at the reception. The cheese/vegetable/fruit table was displayed uniquely and received favorable comments from guests. Months after this wedding, we continue to receive positive comments regarding the food served to our guests at our son's wedding. The caterer was very flexible and willing to prepare an entree not usually offered. The bride and groom were thrilled with the results of their conversations prior to the wedding as the food was prepared and displayed as ordered. The hot foods were hot and the cold foods were cold. Finally, the value for cost was incredible. We stayed 'under budget' for our food. A** D&J Catering!!

The guests complimented how good the food was. Jeannie is very flexable with the menu and offers great advice. We wanted to use our own recipe for the Alfredo sauce and add fresh polish kielbasa. She prepared both to perfection. There was plenty of high quality food, no worries of running out. The homemade bread was delicious. Her and her staff were very professional in presenting and serving the meal. The leftovers were well packaged for us to take home and the hall commented how clean the kitchen was left. Everything was perfect and worry free on a very important day. She is a blessing to this kind of business.

We truly appreciated Jeannie and her flexibility in catering our daughter's wedding especially in an outside venue that can at times be more challenging. She allowed us to select a menu that included the couples favorites and was a bit outside the norm. The staff was friendly and very willing to work in conjunction with our friends that were also helping with all it takes to pull off a wedding at our home. Her estimation of food was pretty accurate and we had plenty of food but not excessive leftovers for which was thankful. I would and have already passed on D & J Catering as a recommendation to others.

Lots of our friends have used this catering service, including us. Jeannie is great to work with. They help prepare samples of the meal ahead of time to help with meal selections. Food is always great and they package the leftovers for you!

D & J Catering did a fablous job at my wedding, I could have not asked for a better catering company. Jeannie was so wonderful and kept me up to date with everything going on that I felt like I was in wonderful hands and didn't have to worry about the food. They went above and beyond even by helping me with some ethnic mexican food that we added to table. All my guest loved the food and received tons of compliments. We used D and J Catering for our wedding reception on December 30th, 2016, and the food was nothing short of amazing! Jeannie is so easy to work with, and was able to meet nearly all of our requests. We still have guests telling us how delicious the food was, especially the mac n' cheese (seriously to die for!). She was able to provide us with kielbasa and sauerkraut from my family's favorite Polish market in Toledo, which added a great personal touch for my family. Thank you, D and J Catering for everything you did for us!

D & J Catering did an excellent job for our wedding! They were always friendly and prompt whenever I had questions. The initial reason we went with D & J Catering was for the price, their prices were the lowest I could find in the area and we were on a budget. However, even though the price was low compared to other caters, the quality of the food was just as good if not better. Many of our wedding guests said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. D&J even boxed up all the food for us at the end of the night (which my family really appreciated)! I would recommend their service to anyone having a wedding or other large event!

I got so many positive comments about the food at my wedding, it was unbelievable! And we had plenty for leftovers! :) -FYI it won't let me put my wedding date, which was June 2nd

Jeannie was very helpful in coordinating with my dairy allergy. Prior to the wedding she told me everything (based on what me and my husband chose) what I could eat, which was mostly everything except the homemade mac and cheese. Which is understandable. She set up and cleaned up everything and was really nice to work with. She was understanding and was willing to work with us when we wanted to taste our selections and gave us a few freebies like the punch fountain :) I would highly recommend D and J Catering to do another wedding.

ps. I only heard wonderful feedback about how good the food was and there wasn't any fried chicken left for me to eat the next day.

D & J was very helpful, and accommodated us for everything we wanted to do, which was a lot. They helped in the creation of the most amazing wedding cake anyone could have asked for with the help of their ice sculpture option.
