Oregon Coast Wedding

From the first meeting with Dawn our wedding planning stress was gone! We knew right away that she meant business and our wedding was her highest priority. Never once did we have to worry if Dawn and her staff would be able to help and rise to the occasion. Above and beyond does not even begin to describe the attention and service we received. Dawn and Damon are next level! The amount of professionalism displayed alongside the compassion, understanding and warmth was second to none. We are so proud to have had this experience with Dawn and her staff and more importantly are blessed by the friendship that has developed as a result. Much love to Dawn and Damon!!

No matter how smart or organized you think you are, or how many friends and family have offered to help put your wedding together, you need Dawn to take care of your day. We hired her as our coordinator and she was worth her weight in gold ten times over. When our wedding day came and we saw how much she could take care of an coordinate, we were so relieved to haveH her there as we realized that it never would have gone as smoothly without her. She was great with her advice and really let us have our own day. She was really respectful of our ideas and choices and did everything she could to make it turn out the way we wanted. Also, her staff was exceptional- very professional and responsive. You will never go wrong with hiring D&D events.

Dawn and Damon are absolute pros! They presented us with options we didn't even know existed — and they were extremely resourceful with our limited budget. Have you ever met someone and instantly felt like you've known them your whole life... or wish you had? That's Dawn and Damon! From the first meeting we knew that they were the folks we wanted to plan our big day. We were blown away by their attention to detail, hard work, constant communication, and complete follow through. They made planning our wedding fun, and by the time it was all said and done they felt like close friends. They cared about our wedding, at times, more than we did... And because they cared so much it allowed us to truly relax and enjoy every second of the planning, and most of all, our wedding day. I couldn't have asked for anything more! Thank you Dawn and Damon for helping us plan the day we'll never forget, and for ensuring that it went off without a hitch.

Dawn and Damon of Unforgettable Service & Events were incredible to work with and went above and beyond in EVERY way.

I speak from the experience of three events. Dawn and Damon handled all aspects of planning for my own wedding and I was also fortunate enough to attend a Birthday celebration as well as a fund raising event. They can truly handle any event or need that you may have.

When planning our own wedding became unmanageable Dawn and Damon stepped in. They took our initial idea and made it something truly unforgettable! The wedding was an incredible day and there was literally not one flaw or moment that went wrong.

Our “ask” was not small: 100+ person rehearsal dinner, 200+ person wedding, cocktail hour, dinner and reception followed by a 100+ person after party at a separate venue. They handled all of it and didn’t even blink.

Dawn and Damon immediately had vendor suggestions and set up interviews, tastings, etc with multiple vendors in all categories. They guided us through pricing, timelines, and details. They absolutely saved us at the last minute from a florist disaster and on top of that, during the event, they managed a guest incident without us even knowing until after it was over.

They were constantly professional but also friendly and a ton of fun, making ever meeting enjoyable and every detail on track. We couldn’t pay them enough for the stress alone that they took off of our shoulders. The wedding was incredibly more beautiful and wonderful then we had ever imagined specifically because of everything Dawn and Damon did for us.

Planning a wedding? Then you NEED Dawn and her team! My wedding was wonderful because of her organization, attention to detail and support. Dawn was there to take care of little details and offer professional advice when I was having trouble with some vendors. A week before my wedding we had a family emergency that changed a lot of our plans. Dawn told me she would make sure everything ran smoothly, and it did. I never had to worry about the timeline. Dawn and Lindsey had everything listed out. They worked great with my other vendors. I was able to enjoy my wedding day and not scramble about the operations of the day because of Dawn and her team. Besides saying 'yes', they were the best decision I made.

We LOVE Unforgettable, every last person who helped make our wedding day amazing. From Dawn who helped us plan from day one, to Damon and Mandy who helped so much with our on site needs, to the bartenders and staff who helped set up and take down our wedding. We had separate ceremony and reception locations (a church and my family home, that means we start from scratch in furnishing the venue) AND we were an out of town bride and groom - needless to say our wedding posed challenges! Dawn and her wonderful team met these challenges like pros and made us feel special and taken care of the whole way.

Dawn took much of the the stress out of planning a three-day wedding weekend by managing all the details for a 200-person guest list. She introduced us to highly professional vendors for flowers, photography, rentals, and she and her crew did a beautiful and meticulous job with the set up for all events. She went over and above in managing each detail of the weekend: in addition to making all the arrangements for out of town guests to go rafting, she was there when they left Eugene to check everyone on to the bus, she was there when they got done rafting with a full spread for lunch, and she was back at our house three hours later with twenty pies for our rehearsal dinner. We are a non-trad couple (gay and Jewish); Dawn and her staff were a delight to work with the entire time. She got what we wanted and helped us exceed our expectations for what was possible.

I was hesitant to spend money on a wedding coordinator, especially since I had plenty of offers for help. I am SO glad I made room in my budget for Dawn it was worth every penny! She thought of little things I never would have, and she executed my ideas perfectly. The rehearsal and my wedding day went so smoothly and I was able to relax and take it all in because Dawn was there taking care of all the details. Every bride should give themselves the gift of a wedding coordinator like Dawn so you can actually enjoy your day!

Dawn helped my sister-in-law and me plan and host the bridesmaid's luncheon for our niece. She did this with one of us in Virginia and one in South Carolina and the event in Oregon. She was unfailingly pleasant, professional and creative. We could not have asked for better assistance at a very reasonable cost.

If you think you don't need a wedding planner,,you're wrong, very wrong. You need Dawn and her staff if you want your wedding to be perfectly planned. No details will be overlooked. She came up with awesome ideas and has great connections. She'll be there for you at any hour of the day and answer questions and address your concerns. My September vineyard wedding happened to coincide with the year's craziest storm. Dawn had to redo everything last minute, the guests never knew. So all you Oregon brides, have a rain backup plan! Choose Dawn, she's awesome!!!

Our daughter's wedding took place up the McKenzie River at Eagle Rock Lodge. The logistics of pulling off a wedding for 400 guests coming from all over the country and happening smack dab in the middle of the busiest time of year for our river outfitting business would have been a nightmare for me to do alone. I hired Dawn the first time I met her because I instantly felt that she was the answer to our wedding planning prayers. She took care of every detail of coordinating the six mile boat procession to the ceremony, the actual ceremony, cocktail party, dinner, and dancing to a live band. Off site parking had to be arranged and bus transportation to and from the venue was all coordinated by Dawn. Unforgettable Service and Events even took care of the clean up the next day! She and her professional staff created a wedding experience that truly exceeded our expectations. Best of all, as mother of the bride, I was able to enjoy it all!

With working a full time job and raising 2 boys, wedding planning was not something I was looking forward too. I was so thankful when friends recommended Dawn at Unforgettable Services. She was absolutely amazing and with her help I was able to plan my wedding and have fun doing it. She works with excellent vendors for everything you need, so you don't have to hunt for each vendor. She helped us with all the decorations and budgeting so that our special day was truly amazing and hassle free. I would recommend Unforgettable Services to anyone that is planning a wedding or event.

Dawn was an awesome coordinator. We planned our wedding in Oregon from Washington, D.C. And that provided a lot of planning challenges but Dawn went above and beyond to make sure we got everything done. I also had some lofty ideas for things I wanted at the wedding and she went out of her way to make sure I got it. So easy to work with during planning and her coordination on the day of the wedding was perfect! It was a great day and a huge part of that is because of Dawn's coordination!

Unforgettable Services & Events was our sanity amid the insanity. The owner, Dawn Keeney, whom we fondly refer to as our "wedding miracle worker", walked us through everything that needed to be done and kept our creative vision in mind throughout the entire process. As the bride, I can't tell you how many times, women (engaged, married or single) gave me looks of sympathy with a touch of "girl, you are crazy to plan a destination wedding with a full-time teaching gig". Not only was our wedding technically considered a destination wedding in Eugene, we were bringing about 85% of our intimate guest list up from San Francisco. None of the magic at Mt. Pisgah that was created would have been a reality without Dawn and Unforgettable Services. From super secret Pinterest boards to weekend Skype meetings to catering changes to quick and dirty road trip visits, Dawn helped us refine our vision, select our vendors, make decisions and most importantly, kept us on budget. She is amazingly insightful, intuitive to her clients and professional in her work. Though I've only gotten married once and have no true basis for comparison, you'd be hard-pressed to find someone as awesome as Dawn. Thanks Unforgettable Service & Events!

Even though I have been in the Industry for quiet some time as a Professional Photographer I really did not understand the full concept of how amazing it is to work with a true WEDDING Coordinator. Not just a planner or onsite overseer of the venue but an actual hands on Coordinator. She is like the Fairy Godmother of Weddings! My first experience with Unforgettable Service and Events was in 2010 at a Beautiful Vineyard Wedding in Eugene Oregon. Having Dawn and her team there to help execute each moment of the day was the most delightful experience for the Bride and Groom and there family members. When it comes to planning a wedding there are so many wonderful ideas. At some point you have to come to realize that even though you can pin a thousand pins on Pinterest or pull ideas from magazines…. At some point those ideas have to put into action. Its a huge puzzle that is put together including venue, catering, floral, decor, photography and much much more.. I have personally witnessed Dawn and her Team do amazing work not only the day of but also helping her Bride and Groom find the perfect fit for there style of Wedding along with there budget. Ive watched her personally assist the bride and her family in every way you could imagine. In Rain, Shine, Wind… You name it she has it under control. I highly recommend Unforgettable Service and Events for any Wedding, Graduation Party, Birthday Party or Special Event. My husband and I Hired Dawn and her Team to put together our daughters Graduation fiesta surprise party. Literally the better than I could have ever imagined. Just being able to relax and visit with our family and friends without stressing was the best feeling ever. Not to mention the decor looked spectacular. After going over details of this small graduation party I couldn't even imagine ever trying to coordinate a Wedding on my own. I most definitely will not hesitate! the day our daughter gets engaged this will be the first person we hire….

My daughter, Mary and I are from the coast and first met Dawn from 'Unforgettable Service and Events' at a bridal show in Eugene, Oregon. She was so full of positive energy and all smiles :) we knew immediately she would be the perfect person to steer us in the right direction. All vendors she recommended were superior. The venue was at King Estate Winery, outside 'in the vineyard.' Set for 5pm..perfect lighting for pictures - a beautiful fall day in Oregon, dining and dancing outside under the stars. The layout was set in stone for the perfect wedding day! However...3 days before the wedding, Dawn called Mary with concerns about the weather, a big storm was predicted and we would probably need not only a 'tent' but a tent with sides and heaters, just in case... Disappointed, Mary said OK ...Dawn took care of everything; re-seating indoors for the ceremony, tables under the tent for dinner, let me tell you it was still beautiful! The whole evening was seamless. Everything on time and in order, even though she and her crew had to haul out unplanned barrels of rain water from the relentless rain and wild winds! This was TRULY 'Unforgettable Service!!' There's no way we could have pulled this day off without Dawn and her crew. Thank you, Dawn!

Dawn's advice, vendor recommendations and amazing wealth of knowledge was such an incredible help throughout my planning process. I came away from each of our meetings feeling like I had been given the tools I needed to cover all of the bases in planning my wedding. Dawn was incredibly responsive. She always answered my emails promptly and constantly reassured me that no question was too big, small or unimportant. I feel like there were so many things that she made easier for me. I don't think it's possible to know how valuable it is to have someone by your side who has planned so many weddings until you've experienced it. I'm so glad I can say that I've experienced it!! I would highly recommend that you give yourself the gift of some level of planning assistance. If you're unsure, start small....you'll quickly see the value! Even if you just use her service for wedding day coordination...the questions she'll ask in preparing herself and her staff for your day will quickly educate you on the things you need to think about and plan for. I hope your wedding day is one of the best days of your life. I know mine was and I owe a lot of that to Dawn and her staff.

Outstanding experience! We couldn't have done it without Dawn's help and expertise. She was there for us every step of the way, and we knew we could relax and enjoy our day, knowing we were in such professional, experienced, and caring hands. Many people told us it was the most beautiful, meaningful, and fun wedding they'd ever attended. (Our budget was $7500, and we had 170 people!) The reason it went so well is because Dawn gave us cost saving tips all along the way, including her preferred vendors (who were the best, and much more affordable than we'd found on our own). Dawn was a wonderful wedding planner. What I like the most about her was her ability to stick within our budget and help us think outside of the box for our wedding. We were on a very tight budget and without Dawn's vendor connections for our cake, flowers, linens, and hair stylist there is NO way that we would have stayed on budget. She was always there for an emergency text when I was having issues and kept in regular contact via phone and email. She set up all my vendors and all I had to do was call and pay!

The day of service was also extremely valuable. She and her staff ran our bar, buffet, and kept the events of my special day running smoothly. She provided my Bridesmaids and I champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to enjoy as we got ready. She gave me a radio to use so I could always be in contact with her on the day of. I literally had no stress on my wedding day. If you need somebody to help you coordinate your Wedding Day Dawn is your answer! I also liked the different packages that she offered. We were able to pick a coordination package that fit with our budget and worked for us.

Dawn and the Unforgettable Service staff were phenomenal. My husband and I started working with Dawn 9 months before our wedding and it went off without a hitch.

Dawn was very attentive, had fantastic ideas, and great connections in the wedding industry in the Eugene/Springfield area. She kept us on track to get every last detail planned and worked so hard on our wedding day.

I can honestly say I'm not sure how our wedding would have happened without Dawn. So call her!

She had excellent suggestions for favors and venues for bridesmaids' luncheon, which is the part I was hosting for the bride

Dawn was super helpful in all aspects of planning the wedding, especially since the bride and groom were in Gresham and the wedding was in Eugene. She was also very helpful to other out-of-town relatives who were planning events before the wedding.

We chose D and D after reading all the glowing reviews and on the advice of my daughters chosen site. Dawn was flexible in making meeting with us, as we were coming from out out of town. She had strong opinions but in general the planning went well. The problems occurred on the wedding day/weekend. Her staff were great, it was working with Dawn that was the problem. She ran the wedding like a military exercise. Dawn never smiled, barking orders to one and all. When there was a problem with the flower headpiece, instead of calmly jsut making some changes, she barked, thats what you ordered! One of the bridesmades is a professional wedding planner and was so taken back by Dawns behavior, it was all she could do not to take over. It was entirely unprofessional. Dawn had promised to save plates of food for the bride and groom and place it in their room. Knowing this, they did not eat, rather spending time with guests. At the end of the evening, there were no plates of food. The gifts for the guests were never given out to the staff- found at the end of the evening undistributed. There were unexpected add on costs that were not previously discussed. Dawn always took the side of the vender, rather than her client. Fortunately, the venders were much easier to work with than Dawn. The wedding was beautiful. You dont expect the only problem to be with the wedding planner! Hopefully, the partership with Damen will help with future events. I communicated feedback to Dawn but she never responded.
