Mark was absolutely AMAZING!! From the start, he was organized, professional, and clearly experienced—but it all truly came to life on our wedding day. The dance floor was packed all night long, and even three weeks later, our guests are still talking about how incredible he was!
Mark didn’t just play great music—he also helped us plan out the timeline for the evening and made sure everything ran smoothly. His energy, song choices, and ability to read the room kept the party going right up to the last song.

We had DJ Mike Forrest for our wedding, he was great and so fun! We couldn’t be happier with our decision to go with him. He helped us throughout the whole process and answered any questions we had. The night flowed so good and everything on the timeline went as planned. We really wanted someone who would keep the dance floor going and that’s exactly what he did, all of our friends and family were on the dance floor all night which made the night so fun! I would definitely recommend them for your wedding!!

Best Wedding Reception Ever!
My husband and I cannot recommend D&M DJ Entertainment enough! We had a very specific vision for our wedding reception music and Mark beyond delivered. He's not just playing songs from a playlist - he's mixing and feeling out the crowd to make sure the dance floor stays alive all night. From our initial booking to the end of the event, Mark provided clear communication and guidance throughout the entire process. He truly went above and beyond to make sure it was the best night of our lives. It's very clear that he is an expert in his field and takes his role seriously. Our guests can't stop talking about how much fun they had! We would hire Mark over and over again!

Amazing DJ, helped for a perfect day!

We were lucky enough to work with D and M DJ Entertainment through our wedding venue, The Estate at New Albany. We were connected with Mike and he helped to bring our vision to life. They use an online portal that is detailed yet simple to use. We were able to communicate all of our needs and song requests. For details we weren't sure about, we were able to ask Mike for ideas or requests. He set the tone for the night, kept everything running on time, and brought the energy that we were looking for. He even had ideas that fit our vibe throughout the night that made it even more incredible than we could have imagined. Everything was perfect. He as an incredible person to work with and we highly recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding DJ!

Amazing DJ!
Working with D&M was truly such a wonderful experience! Our DJ Patrick was incredible. Patrick was so knowledgeable, and he gave us so many options leading up to our wedding to make sure we got just the vibe we envisioned. He seamlessly guided the day, letting us just relax and enjoy our wedding. He played music that had a usually not very dance forward crowd out on the floor. DJ Mike is the best at what he does and it absolutely shows. Ever last little detail was perfect. He was the touch of magic to bring the whole night together! We really appreciated the planning portal - it was instrumental in helping us get the flow of our day organized. Our DJ, Andrew, was awesome to work with! He has a very kind and gentle demeanor, but he absolutely kept the party going and was also perfect at executing the different announcements throughout the event. I first met Patrick after hiring him for another event, and when it came time to find a DJ for our wedding, I knew exactly who to call—and I’m so glad I did! D&M Sound and Patrick W. truly made our wedding an unforgettable experience. We received so many compliments throughout the night about how amazing the music and energy were.
Patrick knew exactly what he was doing from start to finish. We completely trusted him to read the room and adjust the mood and atmosphere when needed—and he executed it perfectly every single time. He really understands how to keep a crowd engaged and the night flowing naturally.
He was also thoughtful, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure everything went smoothly. The D&M planning platform was super helpful, too—it made organizing our timeline and song choices so easy.

We had Patrick as our DJ from D & M Entertainment and we cannot say enough wonderful things about him and our experience with him!!! He was so accommodating and patient with us while in the planning stages. He 100% nailed our music vibe, there was never a moment where all of our guests invited weren’t on the dance floor. We got sooo many compliments from all of our friends & family all night about how he was the best DJ anyone has ever heard! We even had a couple who are getting married, cancel their partnership with a DJ they already had booked. to book with Patrick! He read the dance floor so well and was the perfect amount of interactive with our guests. We had the absolute best experience with D&M DJ for our wedding, and we can’t recommend them enough! From the very beginning, the owner was incredibly professional, easy to work with, and super communicative. We chose Mike Forrest as our DJ & we definitely chose correctly. He took the time to understand our style and vibe, and was always quick to respond to any questions or updates throughout the planning process.
On the day of the wedding, Mike was everything we hoped for and more. His calm, go-with-the-flow attitude made things feel effortless, and he seamlessly adapted to changes throughout the evening. He truly helped set the tone for the night in the best way possible. He was super communicative with us & the staff. Making the night super fun & easy to enjoy.
The music was incredible—Mike has amazing taste and knew exactly how to read the room. His mixing skills kept the energy up and the dance floor packed from start to finish. Mike did a fantastic job for my wedding. He personalized all of the introductions for wedding party entrances and Best Man/MOH speeches to keep all of our guests involved and entertained. We provided him with a list of some songs that we wanted to be played at the reception, and he added transitions to make each song flow into the next seamlessly. I cannot recommend him enough. If you have a wedding or any kind of event and Mike is not the DJ, you are very much missing out.

We first heard Mike DJ for our best friends wedding, and shortly after he became the go-to DJ for our whole friend group and family! Mike DJ'd our wedding and did an amazing job, got the crowd dancing, and it never stopped until "closing time" (11pm per our venues rules). He is a great and speedy communicator, professional, and really knows what he is doing from getting you down the aisle and throwing a great celebration! You can really tell he is so passionate about his work and we would (and have) recommended him every time it comes up. We have been to a wedding that didn't have Mike as the DJ and it was noticeable the difference in energy and fun. 10/10 recommend having Mike DJ your wedding!!

Patrick was our DJ for our wedding this past weekend and did a great job! We used original songs for the bride/groom first dance, mother/son dance, and the bride/groom grand entrance, and he worked them in perfectly. Patrick did an excellent job with all of the music that he played the night of our wedding! I don’t usually dance, because I hate it, and I still got out on the dance floor and danced my little heart out. He made me feel comfortable coming out of my comfort zone, and everyone that was there thought the music was amazing. The DJ can make or break a wedding reception..
D&M DJ Entertainment is the way to go!! We just got married the end of March and we’re planning from NM and Germany. They made it extremely easy to communicate and were constantly flexible with us, even allowing us to add an hour to reception just a week prior to our wedding. DJ Mike Forest was absolutely the guy for us. He did a wonderful job encompassing all of our genres of music and special requests. He kept the vibe going and people had to be kicked off the dance floor by the end of the night. I couldn’t recommend Mike more; his professionalism, communication, friendliness, adaptability and timeliness were all on point! You can guarantee a fantastic and worry free wedding with these guys! Thank you again!

Easy to Work With
My wife and I got married earlier this month and we had Kurt as our DJ, who was the absolute best. He made things extremely easy for my wife and I to just go with the flow and enjoy the day. Everything from the ceremony, to the reception went perfectly, and Kurt payed all the right jams we wanted to hear that night. He was very friendly, and had a way of getting things done without feeling rushed.
I highly recommend D&M for any occasion, and a big thank you to Kurt!

Knocked Our NYE Wedding Out of the Park!
Patrick was without a doubt the reason why we had a full dance floor the entire night, kept our guests engaged leading up to our NYE midnight countdown, and then kept the party going well past ball drop! We would absolutely book Patrick again if we had to do it all over and highly recommend him!
The planning process was incredibly clear and well laid out, which is extremely appreciated when you have 1000 choices to make leading up to the big day. Patrick communicated often with us making us confident for what our day would look like, and during our ceremony and reception absolutely delivered a fantastic atmosphere.

One hell of a party!
We got to work with Patrick for our wedding and with his help through a great party for our friends and family! He was great at walking us through the planning process and what details needed to be added. We picked our songs and timing and he was able to accommodate a last minute change to the ceremony after we swapped something at the rehearsal. He was great at keeping the group informed throughout the night and once th party started there were people on the dance floor until the night ended- we had SUCH a great time and can’t say thank you enough!!

Amazing DJ!
Mike was the DJ for our wedding and did a phenomenal job. We had a wide age range of guests and ended up with more people dancing than anticipated. Fantastic experience with Patrick
Patrick helped make our day incredible. He mixed music seamlessly, took our requests to heart, kept people dancing all night, and genuinely looked like he was having fun while doing so. Patrick made everything super easy from the start. Mark did a fantastic job at our wedding. What I loved most about him is how prepared he was for our big day with the hour-long call he did a couple months out from the wedding where we walked through what we wanted as well as a detailed timeline. Having D and M DJ helped us worry about one less thing throughout wedding week. The portal he utilized was very helpful and his flexibility allowed us to even make a couple last-minute changes. High praise!
I was able to take two years to plan our wedding which allowed me to take my time and talk to quite a few DJ services in Columbus, OH. I was not disappointed when I hired D and M DJ Entertainment for my wedding reception music at the Ohio Statehouse. The attention to detail and value was perfect!
Mike Forrest, my DJ for my wedding day, was truly amazing! He has a wonderful charismatic personality that instantly made me feel very comfortable that he takes such pride in providing a memorable experience for all our guests, and the bride and groom. Mike was able to blend songs for smooth transitions, and also read the room to know when a certain genre/song should be played. I could go on and on, but look no further for your DJ services.

Our Wedding
Mark at D and M DJ Entertainment helped make our wedding day perfect! When we met him, we told him what we wanted and he made it happen. Two weeks before the wedding, I asked him to help me add a special message to my precessional song. All I can say, is that he did an amazing job! I was so happy and we definitely surprised my husband. Mark was funny, energetic and definitely kept the crowd on the dance floor. If I ever need DJ Entertainment again, I already know who I’m calling. Mark, thank you for everything!!

Truly Wonderful DJ Experience!
We worked with Patrick from D&M for our wedding and we couldn't even begin to describe how wonderful he was. It's absolutely true a DJ can make or break the overall vibe of a wedding, and Patrick did not disappoint. From our first conversation Patrick was communicative, kind, and very knowledgeable, giving us insight into his process and what we can expect on our wedding day. He was very flexible and thorough, taking YouTube videos and Spotify lists we sent and mixing them to ensure we got the music choices we selected at the very time we wanted them played throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception. His MC abilities are top notch, delivering information and garnering attention from our guests at the perfect moments. We really appreciated his vibe and ability to mix and mash our dance songs, and our guests were delighted by his DJ skills. 12/10 recommend!

You found your DJ!
My biggest vendor choice for my wedding was the DJ. I was most nervous for this because I love to dance and wanted everyone to be on the dance floor all night. Well, Mark Derenberger brought it! Our dance floor was packed all night and we had the best time! Mark not only did a great job as our MC, but he blended all the songs well and kept the party going. I was that bride who picked out all our songs for the dinner music and dance floor, but the way they were played was all Mark. Mark also sent me a mix of my top songs I wanted to be played at our wedding beforehand and it was awesome! I listen to it all the time. D and M DJ Entertainment were great to work with from the beginning. Everyone was responsive, professional, and the online portal is easy to use. Thank you SO MUCH Mark and D and M DJ Entertainment, you made my reception exactly as I imagined it to be.

Great Experience with D and M
We had DJ Dave for our wedding, and he was amazing. From our first conversation, he made us feel at ease during the planning process. Dave is chill, fun, and incredibly professional. He took the time to really understand us as a couple, and it reflected in the amazing night we had. One of our main concerns about the wedding was having a good flow and moving people from one space to the next to keep things on schedule. Dave did just that! He kept things on pace while also being flexible throughout the evening. D&M's online portal also makes providing song suggestions, "do not plays", and the wedding day timeline so easy. If you're after a DJ who's not only talented but also a pleasure to work with, DJ Dave is your guy.

Patrick was absolutely phenomenal. He was able to make all of our requests a reality. He was timely, responsive and unbelievably kind. His DJing helped us create an amazing atmosphere. We are so grateful Patrick DJ’d our wedding at Brookshire.

Kurt is the MAN
Kurt is a phenomenal DJ and person. He went above and beyond for our wedding. The advice we received from Kurt on music choices and how to control the flow of the night was priceless. D and M DJ Entertainment did a wonderful job at our wedding! David kept the party going but also knew when to keep it cool and relaxed during the reception/speeches.
He played the songs we chose off our playlist and added some other ones that fit perfectly, my husband and I danced all night long thanks to D and M! We had many guests come up to us and mention that the DJ was awesome! Would highly recommend to anyone searching for a great DJ!

Patrick was absolutely incredible as our wedding DJ, and I can not recommend him enough. Not only was he soo way to communicate with prior to the wedding, but he truly understands the wedding business. He went above and beyond, even for our wedding where my two young toddlers were on the dance floor, he kept everything fantastically organized. I could not be more happy. His choices in music were excellent as well, we gave him a “vibe” And he did absolutely wonderfully.

Mike Small = BEST DJ
Mike Small was the DJ for our wedding last month and we could not be happier! Mike was so great to work with throughout the past year of planning. Patrick is an amazing DJ!! He was great at emailing us back right away and would answer any questions or concerns that we had. He also met us at a place that was convenient for us to meet in person before our wedding. We received so many compliments from our wedding guests about how amazing the music was at our wedding. We gave Patrick and "do not play" list and a "play list" and he stuck to both lists very well! One of our guests even requested a "do not play" song and he denied their request for us. We are so grateful that Patrick was our wedding DJ! Several of our friends now want to use Patrick at their weddings and upcoming events! Where we were short on songs for certain events during our wedding day, Patrick supplied songs aplenty! He did a great job fitting in with our style of music and our guests of all ages loved the music! We even sent Patrick a special cut of our first dance wedding song that he played for us. He also helped us to create our wedding day timeline and stick to the schedule! Thank you Patrick!

DJ Mike Small
We used DJ Mike Small at our wedding this past weekend. He exceeded our expectations. He kept the day moving along smoothly and kept the party going all night! We gave some suggestions of songs we wanted to hear but over all he took over and killed it on the music! Would 100% recommend. You can tell he has done this many times!

Must hire for the best dance party!
We hired Mark from D and M DJ Entertainment for our wedding on 9/17/22 and he did an amazing job! Leading up to the wedding, he met with us to plan out what vibe we were wanting for our reception and made sure to execute all of our plans the night of. They also use an online planning tool that makes it super easy to select certain songs you do and do not want played, as well as outline your event timeline. He made sure to keep the music flowing and our guests did not leave the dance floor all night! We highly recommend booking Mark for your big day!

Pat and the team at D & M DJ Entertainment are amazing!
We worked with Patrick Watkins as the DJ for our wedding. He was great from start to finish. We had a variety of complex requests that he was able to work in flawlessly, and I would highly recommend him for anyone else to use for their weddings. He was really easily to communicate with and responded quickly to any requests we had. He helped meet with us a couple of times before the wedding to discuss what needed to be done, which calmed our nerves a lot before the wedding. He really helped make our wedding special!
Everyone had a great time on the dance floor (maybe too much fun) and the DJ was key to that experience. Additionally, D & M DJ Entertainment were very easy to work with. We got a photobooth as well through them, which was a huge hit and heavily used by all of the guests. Highly recommend this company for any of your Ohio wedding needs!

We love Dave!
Dave was super attentive and responsive from my first inquiry. We really enjoyed our first meeting with him, and when we decided to go with D and M, we asked if he would be our DJ, and thankfully his schedule was clear! While I’m sure his other DJ’s would have been great, Dave just really seemed to mesh well with our personalities. The process for selecting music was simple and easy, though the decisions were hard lol, and we trusted his professional opinion, which didn’t lead us astray! We would definitely recommend looking into D and M for your wedding.

David made the wedding a blast with his music. I had so many people come up to me saying the music made our wedding!! David was awesome to work with and is very kind. The portal he uses makes it easy to add requests. He played my requests, but also added his songs and his flare in and knew how to read the room. He kept guests on the dance floor the entire night. Mike was literally the best. We had not found a DJ yet and then heard him at a wedding and knew immediately that we needed to get him to DJ our wedding. Every time we met with Mike we felt more and more comfortable and prepared for our wedding. He helped with so much more than just playing music at the reception. Yes, that sounds like an odd subject.
And trying to initially explain this to vendors, the best I could say was "It will look more like a wedding reception than anything else I can compare it to."
When you die young and tragically, especially during a pandemic, a celebration of life ("wrap party" because he made movies for part of his living and much of his passion) takes on many appearances.
Matt was amazing--responsive, attentive, and completely able to meet my very unusual play list. Predominantly Hawaiian slack key guitar classics.

Job well Done!
Dave was our DJ. I must say we where skeptical at first. I was unsure if he would connect with our culture. Dave put us at ease with his pre wedding communication. The day of the ceremony Dave was a master of ceremony/communicator. He was attentive to my Wife's needs as I was running around. Lol. He was patient with our schedule and time line. Flexible with our order and helping getting other vendors in place. Downloaded every song we requested and more on the spot request. Job well done.
