This Review is a Must Read! It took us a while to write it because we wanted to fully express our heartfelt gratitude to Leandro and his team for turning our fairytale wedding into reality. Choosing D-Alma was the best decision my husband and I made after deciding on a destination wedding in Aruba.
We looked into other local wedding planners before making our decision, and here are a few reasons we chose D-Alma:
1. Communication—Leandro was responsive, timely, and always answered the questions that mattered most to us.
2. Versatility and originality—Many planners’ websites and galleries felt repetitive, as though they followed the same wedding template with only different color palettes. D-Alma stood out for offering something genuinely distinctive and personal.
3. Connections and reputation—D-Alma seemed to have trusted contacts for everything, from resort managers and transportation to entertainment, venues, and restaurants. My husband and I felt as though we had a personal concierge guiding us every step of the way, and we were always treated exceptionally well.
To be clear, we needed ALOT from a wedding planner. Our dream celebration was not just one magical day, but five! The level of detail required to execute it so seamlessly was far beyond what just anyone could manage, and D-Alma handled it effortlessly.
Here are a few details about what we envisioned for our wedding celebration:
* We had 64 guests traveling from across the United States.
* We wanted the ceremony location to feel like a surprise and loved the privacy and experience of Renaissance Island.
* We love staying at the Hyatt and wanted our guests to enjoy the resort while keeping the ceremony location a bit of a secret.
* We wanted a beach welcome party.
* We wanted a beautiful rehearsal dinner our wedding party would always remember.
* We wanted our guests to enjoy a mini vacation during wedding week and create unforgettable memories of their own.
Planning five days of events was a huge undertaking, but Leandro and D-Alma made me feel I could hand over the stress completely. He often told me, “Let me worry about that,” and he meant it. The more we asked for, the more detail went into the wedding, and somehow they delivered it all.
D-Alma arranged airport transportation for our guests and connected us with the coordination and management teams at both the Hyatt and the Renaissance to help plan accommodations and the days between our welcome party and wedding. Every event felt like a dream. Our events included steel drums, a DJ, a photographer, a videographer, a photo booth, carnival dancers, a violinist, a saxophonist, an MC, and even the special guests, the flamingos. 🦩 They also helped us find a Reverend who shared our values and beliefs and led a beautiful ceremony.
The food at both events was outstanding.
In the end, our wedding became a beautifully curated five-day experience that neither we nor our guests will ever forget.
In short, every event felt intentional, seamless, and uniquely memorable. From the welcome party to the final farewell, everything flowed effortlessly. We never felt stressed or uncertain because every detail was handled with such care and precision that we could simply be present and enjoy it all.
It is rare to find someone who can take your vision and elevate it beyond what you imagined, but that is exactly what D-Alma did. This was more than wedding planning—it was artistry, organization, and passion working together flawlessly. We feel so lucky to have found D-Alma.
If you are planning a wedding in Aruba and want something truly unforgettable, this is the kind of experience you hope for but rarely find. We are incredibly grateful for a celebration that felt effortless and magical from beginning to end.

From the very beginning, we felt supported, understood, and truly cared for. The team was incredibly responsive even late at night when my anxiety would hit, Leandro was right there, answering emails and offering reassurance. They listened to us so carefully and brought our vision to life in a way that was even more beautiful than we could have imagined. Every detail on the wedding day was executed flawlessly, thoughtful and very elegant. We hosted our welcome party at Moomba beach, and the D-Alma team showed up just to make sure everything was running smoothly. The day before the wedding, they organized a full rehearsal and a meeting with all the vendors making sure everyone was aligned and that we could feel totally at ease. Their calm energy, creativity, and professionalism are truly remarkable. And as if that wasn’t enough, the morning after the wedding, they came by our hotel to personally say goodbye and brought us a small, thoughtful gift.
D-Alma is more than a planning and coordination team. They are artists, organizers, and most importantly, kind humans who care deeply about making your day unforgettable. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! -

From the very first virtual meeting with Leandro and Carmichael, we knew we were in the best hands. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine passion for what they do made all the difference throughout the entire planning process.
They were always just a call or message away, especially when I was panicking! Their communication was consistent and reassuring, and they truly made us feel cared for every step of the way.
We arrived in Aruba a week before our wedding, and there they were at the Hyatt Regency, ready to meet us in person and walk us through everything. Two days before the big day, they were there again for the rehearsal, making sure every detail was in place.

It’s hard to put into words just how grateful we are for D-Alma Aruba. From the very beginning, we felt something different with them, something real. Planning a destination wedding can feel overwhelming, especially when you're far from the place you're saying "I do." But with D-Alma, we felt nothing but peace, trust, and confidence every step of the way.
We planned everything over Zoom calls, and yet they still managed to understand our vision as if we had sat together in person from day one. Their warmth, patience, and professionalism were unmatched. But what really made them stand out was how much they cared, it never felt like we were just another client. It felt like we had friends in Aruba who genuinely wanted our wedding to be everything we dreamed of.
The first time we met them in person was actually the day we checked into our hotel, and there they were, waiting for us. Just that gesture alone showed us the heart and soul they pour into their work. We felt instantly reassured that we were in the best hands. They even helped us with the welcome bags, making sure everything was just right for our guests. From our very first Zoom meeting eight months before the big day they walked us through every step of the planning process, from vendors to logistics, with such clarity and professionalism that we immediately felt at ease. They were organized, thoughtful, and always one step ahead. When the day of our wedding came, it was absolute perfection. The meticulous talent, attention to detail, and keen eye all added to our perfect day. Carmichael isn’t just a great wedding planner, he truly cares about his clients and their families. It is his kind personality that sets him apart from the competition.
