Amazing Officiant

Cynthia was amazing! She put wonderful personal touches on everything that she said, made our guests laugh and cry and was very thoughtful in everything she prepared before the ceremony. We could not have asked for a better officiant for our special day! We highly recommend her!

Cynthia Copeland was outstanding! we highly recommend her! for a beautiful wedding!

We where searching for a Officiant to perform our wedding, I started to read reviews and Cynthia where highly regarded from people experience with her. We contacted her and after talking with her we knew she would be the person to go with. She really wanted to have a conversation to know us, she gave us several good options on how to customize our ceremony and she did an outstanding beautiful wedding ceremony for us.
We where doing a very simple and small family wedding and she make us feel at home with a great sense of humor and respect at the same time.
She was very professional, she arrive on time and gave us confidence before and during the ceremony, we are so please and thankful we found her. Special thanks to the previous people that has written reviews that help us to decide to contact her.

Very wonderful!

Cynthia was just wonderful! Made the whole experience that much more great for us. She made sure we were prepared for what to expect but also made it just as much of surprise to us as our guests. I would definitely recommend her to anyone in search of an officiant for their wedding!

Thoughtful & Charismatic

We had a wonderful experience with Cynthia. We planned the wedding from Seattle and didn't meet her in person until the rehearsal, and yet our ceremony was very personal, lovely, and fantastically humorous at times. Multiple people told us it was one of the best wedding ceremonies they had seen, and Matt and I agree! Thank you Cynthia for making our day very special!

So happy with our choice

We were really happy that we chose Cynthia as our officiant. The whole process was very smooth and easy. She worked with us to make the ceremony just what we wanted, and, in the end, there were still some (fun) surprises in there for both of us! We got lot of compliments from our friends and family about the ceremony afterwards.

All we hoped for and more

Cynthia was all we had hoped for and more, the perfect blend of warmth and professionalism. She provided great advice and took time to find out about us and what we wanted the day to feel like. Coming from Australia we didn’t actually meet until the day, but it was obvious from the moment she walked in that we had made the right choice. She immediately helped us feel relaxed, and led us through the ceremony with grace, humour and care. Thanks Cynthia!

Perfect Ceremony!

Cynthia services are superb

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding service. We found Cynthia via an internet search and we are so happy that we did. After one meeting and quite a few emails Cynthia crafted a service that was perfect for the two of us. People at the ceremony actually asked what her relationship was to us and how she knew us. She was able to get to know that well with only those few brief contacts. I'm so glad Cynthia was a part of our special day and I highly recommend her to anyone searching for the "right fit" for an officiant.

Officiant - Cynthia Copeland

What I loved most about Cynthia is that she practices what she preaches. She says she will deliver the type of ceremony that you want, and she does. We were provided with examples of various vows and ceremonies (about 37 pages in small print as I recall) to help us make the discussion on what we wanted our ceremony to reflect. Our wedding was very small only immediate family members, Cynthia fit in beautifully and made everyone feel special and inclusive. Thank you, Cynthia, for your professionalism and flexibility in making our day special!! Since this wasn’t our first marriage, we wanted a short ceremony, not more the thirty minutes, soup to nuts. Two family members, cynically wishing us ‘good luck on that one’ timed the ceremony. Eighteen and nineteen minutes, respectively which made Vaughn happy. Cheers Vaughn and Kelly

A perfectly pleasant presence.

Cynthia was a wonderful addition to our special day. She was responsive and professional. She sent us an extensive packet of information for us to pick from exactly what we wanted for our ceremony. She added personal touches and stories that really made it special for us. The day of our wedding was a blizzard and Cynthia worked with us to change location at the last minute [we eloped] and was all around a perfectly pleasant presence to be around.

Amazing geat sense of humor and personality.

Cynthia was great from our first meeting we knew she was our officiant. She tailored our ceremony to us. Many of our quests commented that they really loved our officiant.

Great officiant

In one of our early conversations with Cynthia we told her we didn’t know what to look for as we’d never done this whole wedding thing before. Now that we’re on the other side of it, I realize we were looking for Cynthia. She was the perfect mix of eccentric and professional that ensured we didn’t have a stuffy ceremony, but that it also wasn’t off the wall. She worked with us throughout the process to ensure we had a ceremony that fit us, and was also personalized and actually about us too. We definitely recommend Cynthia to anyone looking to get hitched in the Santa Fe area.

Perfect officiant!

Cynthia Copeland is--across the board--fantastic. If you read her own description of her services and have the slightest inkling that she's for you, do yourself the biggest favor of your wedding and book her immediately. From our first conversation with her six months before our elopement, Cynthia was at once totally laid back, completely professional, and committed to making our day special by combining her expertise in what works best for ceremonies with our memories, personalities, and story. She invests a lot of care prior to the wedding day to be certain that she knows you, understands your vibe, and gives you an experience you'll remember forever. She provides a LOT of material you can leave or customize as you see fit; you'll have guidance if you need it, and freedom if you'd prefer. She made sure each of us had surprises for the other worked into our ceremony, and included some spot-on surprises of her own. It was fun, funny, and emotional at once--a great balance, and a memory that will last the rest of our lives together. We cannot recommend Cynthia Copeland highly enough.

We could have not asked for a better person to officiate our ceremony. She made it extremely special, totally intimate and had our families laughing and crying (happy tears :)). Although our elopement was different than a lot of traditional weddings, Cynthia delivered and made it everything we wanted. We couldn't be happier with her and how everything turned out. 11/10 would recommend!!!!

Cynthia was absolutely incredible. We had so many people come up to us after the ceremony complementing us how wonderful it was and and asking us about our officiant. The guests were extremely surprised to find out that we didn't have a previous relationship with her that went back years. We met with her once about a year before the big date, and corresponded by email after that to design and hone in on the details of the ceremony. The personal touches and backstory she added to our ceremony from the details we provided went above and beyond what we could've wished for and it truly made the day magical.

The value of the services provide far outweighed the the minimal price amount that was charged. We did not choose our officiant based off of price, but it was a wonderful surprise that our favorite was also charging on the lower end of the spectrum. She provided great advice and just the right amount of handholding and as we navigated through the (somewhat daunting) process of designing our ceremony and writing our own vows. When we signed with Cynthia, she provide a plethora of examples from previous ceremonies she had written and we picked and chose the introductions and passages and that spoke to us to give it that personal feel.

We had such a wonderful experience with her and cannot recommend her enough. Thank you Cynthia.

It took us a long time to find an officiant that could provide the ceremony we wanted: personal, sentimental, humorous and uplifting. Cynthia provided just that. Cynthia does what she does because she communicates with people in a way that puts them at ease, treats people as individuals, and has a laid-back approach while remaining professional and delivering the serious tone to the humanist ceremony she creates. Her presence on the day of our ceremony was part of the joy; she felt like one of the guests--not just an officiant delivering some per-fabricated words. Cynthia was perfect for Ben and I. She helped us craft a ceremony that fit both of us very well and kept the atmosphere light with humor. Afterwards, everyone who attended mentioned how beautiful the ceremony was and that Cynthia was an amazing officiant. Our wedding date had to be changed a few times due to external factors and she worked with us throughout all of the craziness. She was amazing to work with and we would highly recommend! Cynthia helped us with most arrangements with our ceremony which was a big help since we are from abroad with little knowledge of the area. We ended up near the local river rio grande and had a wonderful time together with her and a photographer. Cynthia is a warm, fun and kind person. We can highly recommend her.

Cynthia did a great job with our ceremony! She was very quick to respond via text/email/phone and provided us with all of the information we needed to pick the ceremony that was right for us. She also did a great job of adding a bit of a personal touch to our ceremony by having both my husband and I submit a letter explaining the things we love about the other person. The guests seemed to enjoy hearing some of our back story as well as a little bit of humor. Thank you for a great ceremony and helping with our big day! Cynthia was a joy to work with from the beginning through the big day. Cynthia was more than helpful in accommodating us with our wedding plans. On the spur of the moment, we decided to marry the day after we received our wedding license. To find someone so helpful and intent on personalizing the ceremony on such short notice was truly amazing. She was top-notch in not only her professionalism, but in her desire to make the ceremony as memorable and personal as possible. Cynthia's was amazing!!! She added her own special twist that made the ceremony so perfect!! She styled it all about Jerrad and I adding in special things like him always calling my toes turtle snappers and me overusing the snooze button on the alarm. "Wedding day nerves" are the norm. Cynthia's solid lead and genuinely positive demeanor during the ceremony, soothed our own "jitters" and gave us a confidence with which we were able to concentrate on the message within our own vows and not have them disintegrate in the delivery..

Our wedding ceremony was very specific to our culture. Native American and Mexican. Also I am 66 and the groom is 72 years old. Cynthia our officiant was very open to all our wishes. When we met Cynthia for our first meeting, we knew she was the one . She has an amazing way of making you feel comfortable and respected. She gave us some suggestions and shared some experiences. I felt we had a guardian angel by my side. It was such a relief . She made herself available for any questions and attended the rehearsal as well.this was a big help for me as i was experiencing some anxiety. Her calm energy and sense of humor got me through. Cynthia is amazing! Specifically, she is extremely flexible with timing and location, is prompt at responding and is well organized. She has a great sense of humor and compassion and really helped us not only to cultivate a perfect atmosphere for our ceremony but also to prepare us ahead of time and answer every question we had. I can't recommend her enough! If you still aren't sure, contact her now and you'll be glad you did. As a small side note, my mother passed away in the weeks before my wedding and Cynthia was completely loving and thoughtful in supporting my husband and I and in working in a way to honor my mom during the ceremony.

Cynthia is so charming and very professional. She was very flexible on her schedule, we wanted a wedding officiant fairly quickly and she was able to accommodate. Cynthia helped us to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary.

Great service

For context we were not only based out of State but outside of the US. Fortunately we were able to visit Albuquerque approx 12 months before the wedding and so were able to meet Cynthia in person when looking to make a decision. As we were of different denominations it was important to us to find someon who could perform an inclusive ceremony. Cynthia was extremely friendly an asked lots of sensible questions to tease out what we were looking for. Once we had hired her she was very patient and provided potential templates for ceremonies whilst also accomodating a lot of freedom to tailor it for specifically for us rather than have an off the shelf product. The end result was a ceremony that was very much unique to the pair of us, whilst having her guiding hand for structure. Cynthia attended the rehearsal (there is an extra fee for this) and helped reassure all was under control as well as provide very useful guidance on getting the exchanging of the rings right! On the day itself we ran slightly late but we hear from our guests that she did an excellent job of keeping people them entertained. We were really glad to have Cynthia involved in our day

We got what we paid for

I was so excited when I first called Cynthia as she seemed fun and enthusiastic. When I was mapping out our rehearsal (which Cynthia and I had discussed early on) I reached out to Cynthia, only to be told she was booked the day before and i would have to complete the rehearsal without her. When I questioned that with her, she emails me this: " Almost none of my 60+ 5 star couple reviews on Weddingwire.com had me attend their rehearsals, and I think their satisfaction with their ceremonies speaks for what I do and how I do it. " So my thoughts are if you have a 5-star rating you should continue to strive to maintain that status. It was too late to back out with her, so we had our DJ help us with our rehearsal (thank God). Cynthia had asked us how we met and ways we were different from each other as she wanted to know more about us, which I thought was great- until she used that in the ceremony...this is something we did not want shared with our guests nor did Cynthia communicate this with us prior. In retrospect, we feel we got what we paid for Im telling you this part IS NOT something to budget on and get EVERYTHING in writing on your contract.
