Our 2025 Wedding

Matthew was incredible to work with from his very organized planning online portal to making our day perfect with the music. My husband and I loved working with him picking out music and organizing our wedding day events. He made our day run very smoothly by arriving early to the venue, directing guests, and getting the guests excited for the whole night! We were beyond pleased to have him as our DJ and would highly recommend him to future couples planning their wedding day!

DJ Gunz was the DJ of our dreams

I am not sure how to put into words how glad I am that we had DJ Gunz as our DJ. Not only was Matthew an incredible DJ, but he was also incredibly kind, incredibly generous, and he created an environment that really set the tone for our entire wedding. Finding a DJ can be difficult because a lot of the time all you can base it on is the reviews and the conversations you are having over the phone, but we had a good feeling about DJ Gunz from the very beginning. He took such a genuine interest in us, our story, and making our day special.

He went above and beyond multiple times to make our wedding day perfect and he did it all with a smile on his face (for a full 10 hours)! We are so thankful for him and the memories he helped us create. It truly felt like we had a friend up there all night. He was equal parts professional and warm and really made sure we through a killer party! Matthew was so organized from the very beginning of the process. His online system made it so easy for us to layout our song preferences which was something we were worried would be a real headache.

I really can't recommend him enough. He was truly a dream come true! We will always be thankful that we made the choice to have him as our DJ! I wish we could get married again just to go back to that dance floor!

Fantastic! (Charlotte wedding)

Matthew was fantastic! So professional, took the time to scout out our venue and be familiar with it so everything ran super smoothly the day of the wedding. He went above and beyond, suggesting a touching tribute to my husband’s mother who recently passed. He kept the dance floor full the entire night. Great energy, and a truly caring person. He made our wedding so special and I couldn’t recommend him more.

Don't think twice, hire DJ GUNZ

Matthew was the perfect choice for our wedding, his online portal is so easy to use and so helpful to opine the songs you want to make your wedding day special. He so showed up 3 hours early to our venue, which was a resort and asked the staff and guests if he could start playing music for everyone! You can't get anyone better, we had such a blast and hope he did too!

Wonderful experience!!

Matthew/DJ Gunz is so much fun! He made the planning process so easy and worked with us to truly understand us as a couple, what vibe we wanted and went above and beyond for our Son who was playing acoustic music for the ceremony. On top of all that, we were streaming our ceremony for friends and family back home who couldn't attend and Matt went above and beyond again to ensure the sound quality and setting were absolutely perfect. We can't thank him enough for everything he did to make our day perfect! He also kept the dance floor packed and is an incredible MC of events as well. So thankful we had the opportunity to work with Matt and would recommend him to anyone needing entertainment in the Keys!

All You Ever Asked For - & More!

Matthew Fox was amazing from planning our music selection to bringing it to fruition! I am not exaggerating when I say everyone was on the dance floor the majority of the night and no one wanted him to be done when the night was over. Matt was also so helpful in making sure the officiant and groom were mic'd properly and making sure the sound system was perfect for the ceremony, which was something we didn't expect at all. If you hire Matt, you will get everything you want and more than you ever asked for! Highly recommend!

One of the Best and all around great guy!

I would recommend Cutting Edge Entertainment to anyone looking for a personalized, fun and overall amazing experience. Matthew was professional, responsive and easy going through the entire process. All of our guests commented on the great job Matthew did as the MC of the event. He provided various ceremony music as requested, kept all on task through the evening an played our requested tunes along with others he knew would fit well with the crowd. Great experience

I can't give enough stars to DJ Gunz. We had some very unfortunate events happen this year. With having to postpone the initial wedding date of March 29, 200 to December, due to COVID-19 and then having to cancel all together due to the loss of a close family member. Matthew worked with us and I can't say enough about his professionalism. Even though we weren't able to use his services, I highly recommend using DJ Gunz for your wedding just due to his responsiveness, professionalism and character.

When it came to selecting music, I am so thrilled that our planner recommended DJ Gunz. He is professional and made our day so special. My daughters wedding on Sunset Beach

Matthew was awesome to work with through the entire process!! Very informative and helpful every time we spoke, very accommodating during our planning process and very high quality DJ experience!! DJ Gunz is a MUST!

Words cannot express how much we loved DJ Gunz!!!! He truly helped make our ceremony and reception the most wonderful day of our lives. He honored all of our requests and then added his expertise to make the night fabulous. He said his goal was to have everyone on the dance floor the whole night, and that he accomplished. Wedding 11/1/19

My husband and I got married on 11/1/19 in Key West and we hired DJ Gunz for our reception and we have no regrets! He was very professional, flexible, fun, and thorough. He provides an online planning tool which are able to provide song choices which was awesome. I felt so at ease with him and he did such a good job at taking the pressure off of us. I cannot recommend DJ Gunz enough and feel so fortunate that we found him. I really feel he went over the top and even found us our videographer, which we were so happy about. Best DJ & MC we could have asked for!

We feel SO lucky to have had DJ Gunz play such a big part in our perfect wedding. He was so professional and thorough in the planning process, it truly took all of the pressure off of us. His online planning tool was super helpful in making sure we had all of our song choices worked out, and it prompted us to think of things we hadn't even thought of in the first place! Everything went so smoothly on the day of, it just made it that much more fun. He also did a great job of feeling out the vibe of the guests and keeping them engaged. Many of our guests told us the next day that they had never been to a wedding where there was so much energy/dancing the entire time. We can't recommend DJ Gunz enough!

Great to work with.

DJ Gunz was so easy to work with and added some very personal touches to our event. The evening of our beach wedding was very breezy and had a video we wanted to play during our entrance to the party. DJ Gunz met the challenge and figured out a way to set up the projector screen and made it happen! Everyone was on the dance floor the rest of the evening having a great time!

Best DJ Ever!

My wife and I got married in the Keys this October. We hired Matt (DJ Gunz) as our DJ and it was one of our best choices to this date! He was able to take all of our songs and genres and blend them into a perfect playlist. DJ Gunz is far more than just a DJ. He kept the flow of the entire night and had an audience of all ages entertained and having a great time. His transitions were flawless and we are just so happy with how the entire night came out. DJ Gunz is great!

Matthew (DJ Gunz) was such a joy to work with. He spoke with my now husband and I multiple times to ensure that all of the details were perfect. He got a sense of the vibe that we were going for, and mixed songs together like a DJ in a club would do. This was definitely not a “play from an iPod” type DJ. When you hire DJ Gunz you are hiring a true DJ that could easily be at a nightclub. He is attentive and attuned to your music tastes and the crowd’s response to the music, and genuinely wants your wedding to be a party. We had such a good time, and my friends didn’t want to leave. DJ Gunz is the only way to go!

Yes! Yes! Yes!! I can’t tell you how many compliments I received from everyone about DJ Gunz. I created a playlist on his website and he tweaked it to really keep the party going but at the same time keeping the same vibe and music style I was going for. He made sure that everyone got up and danced and knew how to keep the energy up so that we a had a full dance floor all night. His transition to dinner, to the dances, cake cutting, etc. were smooth so everyone knew what to do and to expect. I really couldn’t recommend him enough. Thank you DJ Gunz!

Thank you in an understatement

How do we even begin to say thank you?
DJ Gunz is more than a DJ. He is a stand up guy and a master of his craft.
He did so much for me and Justin to make sure our wedding was executed flawlessly.
Entertainment, music, dancing, and clear audio during the ceremony were extremely important to us. We knew we didn't want "traditional wedding music" and we wanted an experience our guests would never forget. Matthew spent countless hours with us going over ever detail and didn't miss a beat.
He is truly dedicated to his couples. I have no doubt he could read any crowd and play accordingly to ensure every couple has the night of their lives.
Our dance floor was NEVER empty and I'm pretty sure every guest said it was the most beautiful and fun wedding they've ever been to. From the bottom of our hearts - we couldn't have done it without Matthew!

More than just a DJ!

DJ Gunz (Matthew) quickly became more than just our DJ at our wedding in March. He became a friend and supporter knowing the ins and outs of the industry and answering any and every question we had. On the day of our wedding, when our planner suddenly became bartender, it was Matthew who was calling out our timeline and making sure we were where we were supposed to be on time. Even when an exceptionally rude wedding crasher he handled the situation with discrete cool calm collectiveness, I didn't even know it happened! Of course, his music selection was incredible and he truly got to know us and our "vibe" before our big day. He has an online portal which makes music selection SO easy where you can easy upload and edit up until the big day. You can choose to pick as much or as little music as you'd like. We had a few select pieces, mainly for ceremony music, and a few "must play" songs for the reception but most of the music was appropriately chosen by DJ Gunz to keep both grandma and our friends happy and dancing! I highly recommend DJ Gunz!

Couldn't imagine a better wedding DJ!

Our New Year's Day wedding would not have been the same without Matthew Fox. He is kind, compassionate, FUN, and a fantastic "Master of Ceremonies". Some DJ's are over-the-top in their duties...Matt was like part of the party/family. The dance floor was hopping all night long, and he nailed every special request. He also provided lapel mic for our officiant and music for our ceremony. I can't say enough great things about him. Hire Matt (aka DJ Gunz)!!!

Non-Stop Energy!!

Cutting Edge Entertainment did an amazing job of blending so many different styles of music into one amazing celebration! He kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night. One week later and I am still receiving compliments from our guests as to how he kept the energy going- even with a small wedding. Book this guy!

My husband and I booked DJ Gunz for our wedding at the Key Largo Lighthouse on 10/03/2018. For us, the DJ was one of the most important to book for our wedding. We were a little nervous with our selection because we have been to weddings where the DJ was a complete embarrassment. DJ Gunz called me prior to our wedding asking exactly what we expected from him and what kind of music we were into. While on the phone, I told him one of my biggest dilemmas is trying to figure out what kind of music me (the bride) should walk down to. He immediately emailed me an in depth song list with a variety of songs to choose from. This was SO extremely helpful to me and lifted so much weight off my shoulders. After all the phone calls and emails prior to our wedding I was absolutely no longer nervous but anxious to meet this guy! I am so so so happy we booked DJ Gunz - he helped make our wedding perfect! Everyone loved the music selection and everything fell in order perfectly! The only downfall I have is that we live thousands of miles away so booking him again for another event isn't possible :( If you have the option and are contemplating whether or not to book DJ Gunz do not think twice! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!! He's the BEST!!

Danced All Night!

This was the vendor that we were most nervous to book because we knew that it could make or break the party. DJ Gunz was amazing! My husband and I like lots of different music genres and he was able to incorporate all of it because he is a true club DJ that mixes. We gave him lots of songs we liked and then gave him the freedom to do what he does best! We used him for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and he helped guests transition from one part of the evening to the next, but he wasn’t talking on the microphone the whole night. The night after our wedding we overheard music from another reception... and they should have booked DJ Gunz! We had much fun on the dance floor! Hire him, you won’t regret it!

Matt was amazing. The planning stages were made very easy from the very start. His response time is quick, conversations are pleasant and the website created for my event made things so simple. Seriously, I had soooo much to think about...working full time, I had an infant at home and I was planning a wedding. His event site, helped me think about things I probably would have forgotten. At my wedding he was so friendly, I felt like he was a family member! I wish I actually lived in that area so I could use him for all of my upcoming events. DJ Gunz was extremely easy to work with and helpful throughout the planning of our event. Selecting him as our DJ was the best decision and the most smooth part of our planning. Matthew Fox made my wedding night better then I have ever imagined. I wish I could have thank him more after the reception. He got the party started and the guests were on the dance floor. Matthew was a wonderful DJ for our wedding! He was very accommodating and as close to perfect as one could hope for. Not only was he willing to work with our budget (he even offered us a military discount since my husband is active duty). I can't tell you the many good things that my guests said about the music as Matthew was able to accommodate the taste and sound I wanted for the reception. I asked him to give me a genre of music for the dinner portion and just sent him a handful of artists with that sound, and he was able to find the music I wanted (and download at least 30-40 songs I know he could not have had in his library already since I was asking for a very unique sound-Old School Cuban Son). The only place for improvement was my entrance song to the reception was not the song I had requested and I did upload at the last minute (3 days before the wedding) a few songs to the system from my phone that he did not get and was not able to play at the time of the reception. Outside of that, he was definitely worth the money and I truly think he did his best to make sure we were having a good time. Everyone was dancing the entire time!

BEST decision we made!! Matthew was amazing! We found Matthew several months before our event, and I was gathering quotes from several DJs at the same time. Music was a HUGE deal to us, because we knew it would make or break the experience our guests had. From the first time I spoke with Matthew, I knew he would be our DJ. He's the most down to earth, real and flexible guy out there. He took the time to have several phone conversations with me to get to know my husband and I better, learn our style and what vibe we were going for on our big day. He made me feel SO at ease.

When we finally met Matthew in person on our big day, it felt like we had known him for years! He made our ceremony flow FLAWLESSLY, and our dancefloor was packed the entire night. He even played an hour overtime because our guests did not want to leave!! 1 month later and our friends are still saying they had the best time, and even say they LOVED our DJ and music. If you are looking for a DJ to really be the MC of your event and orchestrate your night smoothly, Matthew is your guy.

My (beautiful) wife submitted a glowing review for our event already but I felt compelled to add my own. DJ Gunz was UNBELIEVABLE!! From start to finish, he met and exceeded expectations. During the planning stage, he was attentive to every single request we had and executed those requests to perfection the night of. Every time he was on mic he was respectful, charming, and unobtrusive (no "weird DJ voice", enthusiastic without being obnoxious, never interrupting the flow of the evening, etc.). During cocktail, dinner and dancing, when we wanted something specific - he did exactly that. More importantly, wherever we let him loose he just absolutely crushed it. The dance floor did not thin out for a single minute of the entire night. He knew how to read the room, when to fade a song out, when to draw it out. And perhaps most importantly, he was just a super pleasant person to work with and be around. Could not give him any higher of a recommendation. #GoGunzOrGoHome

We were completely blown away by how amazing Matthew Fox (DJ Gunz) was on the night of our wedding. All of his transitions were seamless and FUN and he really personalized the day to make us feel so special. He kept the dance floor BUMPING the entire night (which was exactly what we wanted) and we had multiple guests talking about how much fun he was. He allowed people to make requests, while respecting our "do not plays". He remembered little details about us, as a couple, and incorporated them into the night. He was over the top fantastic and we feel SO lucky to have snagged him for our most special night.

First of all, my husband and I are lucky enough to have known Matthew long before we chose to have him as our DJ, and as a whole he is just the greatest human being! As a DJ, he is even better! How is that possible, you may ask? Well, he takes all of your requests into consideration, he is attentive to every detail of the night, he is there to set up long before start time to make sure everything is perfect, and he makes EVERYONE want to get up and dance. Some of my most conservative family members were out on the dance floor having the time of their lives. We are so grateful to know this guy, and even more blessed to have had him be our DJ on the most magical day of our lives. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, DJ GUNZ! You’re the best!!

DJ Gunz was an absolute pleasure to work with! My husband and I are pretty laid back and basically let him take the reins with choosing most of the songs with some general guidance and man, did he delever! He did an absolutely fantastic job. He kept our wedding crowd up and and dancing the entire night. We got so many compliments throughout the night on how great the DJ was for our wedding. He really knew how to read the crowd. Matt was the DJ at a wedding I recently attended at THE LIGHTHOUSE in Key Largo. Hands down he was the best DJ I have ever heard at a wedding before. His music selection was spot on and the dance floor was packed all night. He did a fantastic job with his announcements and it was evident throughout the entire evening that he really loves what he does. I would highly recommend him for any wedding in the Keys!

DJ Gunz is a must for any Keys Wedding. My husband and I had only ever been to weddings with bands, for that reason we were hesitant to go with a DJ. I can say now this was absolutely the right choice. Our wedding was at the beautiful Caribbean Resort in Islamorada FL. DJ Gunz is very familiar with this location, which removed all stress related to setup and sound quality for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. DJ Gunz also uses a user friendly website to enter your sound choices. We only put ~40 songs into the site and with that DJ Gunz knew exactly the music we wanted to hear. If you are deciding between an expensive band and a DJ, or for that matter any other DJ that will do weddings in the Florida Keys, stop searching. Go with DJ Gunz!

DJ Gunz was the absolute best! He was so great to work with leading up to the event -- even with a major hurricane in the mix -- easy communication, he was super responsive, helpful and friendly. The online portal was really easy to use and fun to work on in advance of the event. Most importantly, he did a fantastic job at our wedding -- we got uplighting from him, which looked amazing -- and the music was perfect. We had a small wedding, but everyone was on the dance floor the entire night - we could have danced all night with Matt spinning the tunes. He read the crowd and adjusted as necessary in terms of playing additional songs than what we had previously selected. We had the best party! Thank you so much!!

My wife and I could not be happier with cutting edge entertainment. The whole process with Dj Gunz was a breeze. It was simple using his song selection program and we had fun with all the song suggestions the program offered. He answered emails quickly and helped us with any questions we had. The night of the wedding was amazing. He set up the dance area perfect! I wanted a specific mix of music (excluding certain music) and he absolutely nailed it. We have friends who loved our wedding so much that want him to fly up north to dj their weddings! That is a sign to me that everyone had a blast at my wedding... one of the best decisions we made... was to hire Dj Gunz!!

Before I go into too much detail, book DJ Gunz for your wedding if you still have the opportunity and don't look back. I promise you won't regret it. From hooking up our officiant and ceremony with his wireless lapel mic/sound system, to customizing an intro beat for me and my bride, to making all our guest dance all night long, DJ Gunz far exceeded our expectations. I knew he was legit after our first phone conversation, but legit does not describe the level of professionalism and/or his ability to play/mix exactly what you and the crowd want to hear. It has been a few weeks since the wedding and we're still riding high.
I also feel compelled to tell anyone who reads this about how DJ Gunz handled the Hurricane Irma situation. We had no clue if Key West was even going to be able to host our wedding on November 4th, but DJ addressed the situation head on within a week of the storm hitting and said he'd be willing to travel anywhere in Florida if the venue had to change. He even agreed cancel our contract altogether if necessary. This is coming from a guy whose neighborhood in Big Pine just took a direct hit. His selfless approach to such a challenging situation tells you exactly what kind of guy Mathew is and give you a feel for how much he loves what he does. Fortunately the resiliency of Key West prevailed and the Southernmost Beach Resort was up and running in time for us to have a kick ass wedding. Thank you DJ for everything you did for us. We are forever grateful brother.

DJ Gunz made our reception exceptional. We hired him for our wedding, in Key West. Unfortunately, Hurricane Irma had different plans. Most of the Keys was affected severely. I was in panic mode, since my wedding was 3 weeks away, Before I even had the chance to contact him, he emailed me (and all of his other brides) the most sincere email about not worrying about his commitment to being their DJ on the big day. He was willing to travel, anywhere in Florida, to make sure that all of his brides and grooms were happy. The email seriously brought tears to my eyes! This proved that he was not just a DJ. He is committed to his clients and their happiness.

He showed up a few hours early to our reception to make sure that everything was working properly. He also had our set list already queued, which was a tremendous asset during the planning process (you get to logon to his website and designate all of the songs you want to play)! During the reception, everyone danced the entire time. He seemed to know which songs to play at the exact right moment. At the end of the night, none of our guests wanted to leave, because they were having too much fun dancing. Without hesitation, Matt agreed to extend the evening another hour.. we couldn't have been more thankful.

If you are looking for a fully committed DJ that goes out of his way to make your event special, he's the one. He loves what he does and it shows! He made our reception the best we could've ever imagined!

If you're looking for a DJ, he is your guy!! Not only is he great at what he does, he has the best attitude and instantly became part of our family! We asked for a few songs that meant a lot to us, but other than that you can describe your likes/dislikes and overall general vibe you're looking for and he is SPOT on!! We felt like he was an old friend or part of the family. He has such an amazing reputation (which it's obvious why once you meet him!) that he was top of our list anyway. But he truly loves what he does and that shows in how great he was! He checked in with us a few times throughout the night which was awesome as well.

Just an overall amazing DJ and really nice, down to earth guy. He's got the talent, and the best part is, he had the best prices!! Seriously cannot say enough about him, if your search has led you here, STOP LOOKING AND BOOK HIM!

We contracted with DJ Gunz about 6 months before the wedding. During this time, he constantly kept in touch and was very attentive (exactly what we needed). He gave us great ideas on how to set up our ceremony and venue with the music, handsfree microphone, uplighting, props and monogram. He also has a great website where you can proactively upload your music, any dedications & special requests. With the way he handled things, we had no concerns leading up to our big day. It all came together the night of the reception! The venue looked absolutely stunning. the uplighting was perfect! the DJ area was set-up top notch and the custom monogram was just perfect!! Matt was incredibly professional and helpful. He helped us think through exactly what we wanted, made suggestions, and went out of his way to source music for us. We got married at the Hemingway Home, which has strict noise ordinances, and he was able to make sure we had a great dance party without violating any rules.

She gunz is the best DJ not just on the island, but ever! My wedding dreams came true, every single person I love was on the dance floor the whole time. My dad was the star of the show, I have never in my life seen my grumpy fishing obsessed dad dance, he couldn't leave the dance floor! People all night kept saying "OK let's go get a drink", and then did say "oh I love this song!" and stay on the floor. He played all my favorite music and really created a wonderful happy vibe throughout the night. My favorite part was at the end he did this special dance wear my new husband and I got in the middle of a circle and our family and friends linked arms and danced. It was the grand finale. I wish there was a word to encompass the experience that my wife and I had with DJ Gunz. He turned our wedding into the event that we will remember for the rest of our lives! The up-lighting package that we got made out ballroom look better than we could ever have hoped for. DJ had everyone old and young dancing until they kicked us out! I couldn't have asked for a better DJ this past weekend. He seemed to enjoy the reception as much as we did! While in the planning process, he responded quickly to any question and the online form allowed me to fill in what I wanted and to come back to it as I had changes or updates! When I first booked my date, he wasn't available and I was very disappointed because he came so highly recommended. Thankfully, he became available and our wedding and reception was seamless thanks to Matthew and all those who works so closely in Key West! We had a blast! THANKS MATTHEW!! #warmannwedding

Matt did an awesome job of helping us put together our playlist and executed it to perfection at the wedding. He took time to get to know our preferences for style/theme for the dance floor, and also adjust the pace of our ceremonial music to our liking.

If that wasn't enough he was a team player helping some of our other vendors in other activities outside of just the music.

It's clear that Matthew knows his trade; he has excellent music selection and transitions smoothly between songs, styles, and genres to keep the heartbeat of the reception going. Very easy to work with! We gave him an idea of what we wanted, a sampling of songs to play, and he ran with it! Once everyone was done eating, the dance floor was busy for the rest of the night - testament to his skill.
Would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone needing a DJ for an event in that area.

Matthew was an amazing DJ for our wedding and so great to work with. He responded very fast to emails and then we talked on the phone the week of the wedding to go through everything. He made our wedding reception go smoothly, making sure everything was on time and our guests new what was going on. He had the crowd dancing all night long. I would defiantly recommend him for weddings or any event. Thanks so much!

We cannot sing your praises enough!!!!! Thank you so much for helping to make our wedding day absolutely PERFECT! We provided Matthew with the type of music we had in mind to help create the atmosphere we were looking for during the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and he absolutely nailed it. He played the perfect mix to keep the mood romantic during cocktail hour and dinner and knew exactly how to keep all of our wedding guests dancing the rest of the night. He really understands how to read a crowd and know what to play to keep the dance floor full - which is exactly what we wanted! We feel we had the best DJ in Key West and many of our guests said the same! Matthew - we can't thank you enough!

I cannot express enough how amazing Matt/DJ Gunz is (and I wish I could give him more than just 5 stars across the board)! He truly made our night perfect and brought so much fun and energy to our group! We did a destination wedding to Marathon, FL so most of our friends and family came from MN with us -- they are now insistent that they be part of our anniversary so we can have DJ Gunz and party like that every year! And our guests that are single are seriously considering having their wedding in the Florida Keys just because of Matt/DJ Gunz! He was awesome to work with throughout the planning months leading up to my wedding - very professional, responsive, accommodating and overall he has a very friendly personality and positive/easy going attitude that makes you feel good! I really appreciated him as he kept my stress levels down -- especially when trying to plan a wedding in FL from MN! To sum it up - DJ Gunz should be the DJ for your event if you want it to be perfect!

Matt was awesome! He was recommended by our wedding planner for our destination wedding on November 5th in Key Largo. Planning from afar proved to be tough at times but Matt managed to make us feel comfortable from the very start. He is extremely personable and very talented. Our guests of all ages had such positive comments and raved about the music. He really took our tastes into account and hit every mark. We can't thank him enough for being so professional and making the night even more special. I don't think I ever stopped dancing! If you are looking for a DJ in the area look no further than Matt aka DJ Gunz! You won't be disappointed.

Matt is absolutely awesome. I did not know him, just searched him out on the internet, little did I know he was such a pleasure to work with and made the whole experience smooth sailing. We spoke to multiple companies about DJing our wedding. After speaking with Matthew our search was quickly ended. He was very helpful and professional throughout the whole process. Matthew eased the stress of finding the right songs by supplying all of the information we needed to make this an easy process. He was very easy to talk to and responded very quickly to all emails and phone calls.
During the wedding, Matthew did an outstanding job keeping the night flowing perfectly. Everybody had an amazing time dancing the night away. He played exactly what we had talked about and we could not have been happier with his services.

Before our wedding, my wife Amanda left me with the important task of setting the mood for our wedding in Key West. I spent a lot of time researching to find the right fit. Matthew Fox, stage name DJ GUNZ, knew exactly how to tie it all together. Our tastes were a bit eclectic which didn't at all deter from the wedding soundtrack. Amanda and I both felt our wedding was perfect in every way and a large part of that was thanks to the fantastic set. Matthew is so warm and inviting on a personal level also; what a wonderful addition to the one of the best days of our lives.

DJ Gunz was excellent and easily the best vendor we booked for our 80 guest destination wedding in Key West. He was able to provide a perfect mix of songs for the reception and clearly used our input as a guide. His skills as a DJ were especially a value add for our father of the bride and mother of the groom dances having multiple parts and specific timing, which he nailed perfectly. I would highly recommend DJ Gunz to anyone looking for a skilled professional DJ who will provide a great array of music, while taking into account all of your input. Dj Gunz is amazing! He was recommended by my wedding planner. He is so much fun and kept my guests dancing all night long. He worked side by side with my wedding planner- they made a great team! Matthew was our amazing DJ for our July 30 wedding. When I write that he was AMAZING.. I truly mean it. When we first contacted him to talk to him about being a part of our wedding, he made my (now) husband and I feel so comfortable and we knew he would be a great addition. He was so quick to respond to any questions we had and even added in some extra advice that we fell in love with. During our wedding, our guests were up and dancing the entire night! Everyone was out of their chairs and on the dance floor smiling and dancing to great music. DJ Matthew even let my sister dj with him for a bit which was so fun!! We all had such an amazing time at our wedding, but it would not have been the same if we didn't have a phenomenal dj like DJ Matthew.

Matthew was amazing! He was very timely with everything leading up to the Wedding. The Ceremony and reception music was awesome, and everything we asked for. We ran behind schedule and he kept everything running so smoothly. He notified me on the schedule to make sure we got everything in and we did! He was incredible and super nice.

Matthew went above and beyond and seriously delivered with his services for our wedding. He met with us during our pre-wedding visit to Key West the week of Christmas on last minute notice, taking time away from his family. He was extremely professional and ensured us that the music was the least of our worries. His preparation process was very simple and his paperwork was straightforward, and not to mention, his rates were the lowest from the vendors I received quotes from. On the day of the wedding, Matthew arrived hours early and played music for the Sheraton's pool guests while he set up for our wedding. He followed our song list, and added his own touches. Also, Matthew is an actual DJ working the tables, he's not just playing a prepared list of music. He's putting it together on the scene. He took requests from our guests. He was polite, respectful, and kept it all very classy. We were absolutely thrilled with our choice and I'd highly recommend DJ Gunz for your wedding. We are totally OCD picky and he was excellent, even with some last minute changes he made. Our guests talked highly of his services and raved about him for days following the wedding. We are very happy customers.

SO MUCH FUN! My wedding was in April at the Hyatt in Key West. EVERYONE loved the the DJ! Mathew was great from the pre-ceremony music all the way through the reception. The sound, lighting, and monogram was awesome!! Every request I had asked for was met and it was perfect! The dance floor was packed the entire time! Couldn't dream of anything better. Matt was amazing throughout our entire process, all the way up to the wedding day. He stayed in contact throughout our wedding planning and really was interested in making sure that our music matched our style and was not just your "typical wedding DJ". We had a destination wedding at Key West- That took place at Old Town Manor. So Of course everything was done via calls and emails, But when the big day arrived. Matthew showed up earlier than scheduled (which was excellent) to set up and as the reception time came along-He was outstanding! He interacted with the guess and everyone was dancing. I would definitely recommend him- Thank you Matthew!!

My expectations were blown away from our very first sit down interview. He has all the attributes you want in a DJ. He's extremely organized and detail-oriented. He breaks down the event and your wants and needs, and asks questions that demonstrate his expertise and thoughtfulness. His playlists were spot on, and our guests danced all night. Our wedding day was perfect, and I could not imagine a better DJ being a part of it.

We have been to a lot of weddings.... Matthew Fox AKA DJ Gunz is BY FAR the best DJ we have ever been around. From the minute he started until the reception ended (1:30am) the dance floor was packed. We had guests complementing the DJ left and right saying how great he was. High energy, great pricing, super flexible (we extended our end time twice). He was a huge asset to our wedding and we are so pleased with his performance. We highly recommend this DJ for any event.

I'll start this review with a disclaimer: I am a music person. I believe the correct musical playlist evokes the emotions natural and essential for any situation. Knowing this about myself, and my tendency to micromanage, I was floored when I read reviews of other local DJs having an issue with requests and changes to their playlist. When my planner referred me to Matt, I spoke with him on the phone for 45 minutes and was immediately impressed. Professional and accommodating, he made fantastic suggestions for not only the flow of the evening, but also the location of the dance floor (we were at the Hemingway House and this suggestion of NOT renting a dance floor and having the dancing in the garden area was INVALUABLE).

Prior to the wedding day, Matt sent us a worksheet that aided in the flow of the evening, and allowed us to really select the music we wanted for each portion of the day. On our wedding day, Matt was fantastic. The music and his MCing were perfectly timed, and he was very earnest in getting in every song we wanted, at the time we wanted it. He even handled my very last minute requests perfectly. He also transitioned through songs at the reception like an LA club DJ (i.e. Great transitions).

I have to say also, that my favorite moment of the day was all thanks to him. It was during our ceremony, right when we were pronounced husband and wife and kissed. I had selected Let's Go by Matt and Kim to play as we exited, and he timed the introduction of the music so perfectly, it brought me to (even more!) tears. It's one of those things that probably no one noticed, BUT I noticed, and it was flawless.

A++++ all around. Brides, this is the easiest decision you will make.

DJ Gunz is amazing to say the least! He conducted himself in a very professional manner, but at the same time kept it very cool and laid back. He played the songs and genres of our choice, but also mixed it up according to the vibe of the dance floor. A genius with the turntables. Our guest had nothing but great things to say about the music and how much they danced. To be honest my bride and I only sat down to eat! We danced all night long!! Fun times! Good times! We will forever cherish that night!! DJ Gunz will not disappoint for sure!!! Thanks again DJ Gunz from Mrs. and Mrs. Quiles!!!!!

Matt was awesome from start to finish! He was very easy to work with and really listened to what we did and didn't want when it came to wedding music. I have to say that my fiance was very nervous about using a DJ at our wedding due to some "cheesy" ones we have seen at other events. We were very adamant about not having typical cheesy wedding music and Matt delivered! Everyone was up and dancing the entire night, including my 89 year old grandmother! The wedding was better then I could have ever imagined and I, in part, have Matt to thank for that!

Dj Gunz was exceptional! He met with our family several times prior to the wedding as well as with the wedding coordinator. He was thorough, personal and very detail oriented. His lighting, emcee skills, timing and music were exceptional. Our family felt like we had a friend taking care of us the whole time. Thank you Matt for your kindness, support and love! We no longer consider you as our DJ but now as our friend!
