Highly recommend Cutting Edge! We had our wedding catered by them, and Jeremy and Jessica were amazing to work with. Our reception venue unfortunately cancelled on us within ~3 months of the wedding and when updating Jeremy & Jessica to let them know that the reception venue would be changing, without us asking, they immediately began reaching out to venues to help us out which was so unexpected and greatly appreciated.
We attended a tasting which was very well-organized and made our selections for both the cocktail hour and dinner. We have guests still raving about the food months later! For cocktail hour, we selected the grilled cheese bites with tomato soup, beef wellington bites (this was especially a big hit), and bruschetta. For dinner, we had the ricotta, herb, & spinach ravioli as a vegetarian option, salmon with a lemon dill beurre blanc sauce, and filet mignon with garlic butter. We also had some guests who were vegan or had allergies and Cutting Edge was able to work with us to accommodate them easily. The sides and starter salad were delicious as well - highly recommend the whipped potatoes as one of your sides!
Beyond the food being great, working with the Cutting Edge Catering team was wonderful. Jeremy and Jessica went above and beyond and made us feel like we were taken care of every step of the way. Thank you again!! -

Choosing Cutting Edge Catering Services for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made, and selecting their Platinum Package made the experience even better. From the moment we began working with Jessica, we felt supported and well cared for. She was warm, approachable, and incredibly thorough in explaining everything included in the package. She answered all our questions with patience and helped us tailor the options to exactly what we wanted. Her kindness and responsiveness gave us so much peace of mind during the planning process.
On the wedding day, the Platinum Package exceeded our expectations. The food was flavorful, beautifully plated, and truly memorable. Our guests loved every dish, and many of them went out of their way to tell us how impressed they were with the dinner. It added such a special touch to the evening and really contributed to the joy of the celebration.
The service was excellent as well. The staff was respectful, attentive, and incredibly organized. They kept everything moving at the perfect pace and made sure we were taken care of throughout the night. It was clear that they were experienced and genuinely committed to making the evening run smoothly. We were able to relax and enjoy every moment knowing they had everything under control.
We are extremely grateful for the wonderful experience Jessica and the entire team provided. The Platinum Package was worth every bit of it, and the service we received made our wedding feel complete. For any couple looking for reliable, delicious, and beautifully executed catering, we highly recommend Cutting Edge Catering Services. They truly helped make our day unforgettable.

We used Cutting Edge Catering for our wedding in October 2024 and had an excellent experience! Jessica, Angel, and Jeremy were extraordinarily helpful in every regard, from sending multiple quote options; making adjustments as we tweaked our menu; and generally being responsive to any questions we had. Our guests really enjoyed the food-- especially the spinach artichoke dip (which we knew would be a hit, having tried it at our tasting months prior)! I would absolutely use Cutting Edge Catering again! -

We cannot say enough great things about Cutting Edge and are so thankful we hired them as our wedding caterer. They were listed as a "preferred vendor" at our venue and, after an intro phone call with Jessica, my husband and I quickly knew they were the team we wanted to go with. She was so helpful from the start, answering all of our questions, and made us feel really comfortable with the services and flexibility they offered. On top of that, their prices are incredibly reasonable.
Throughout the coming months, Jessica, Jeremy, and Angel were great about communicating with us. The tasting was one of our favorite memories from being engaged - such a fun experience (in the most gorgeous venue!) and we were all completely blown away by the food. The hardest part was narrowing down what we wanted to include on our menu...
Fast forward to the wedding, where the entire staff knocked it out of the park. Our guests raved about the food, service, and presentation, and it was such a relief to know the Cutting Edge team had everything taken care of. One guest even told us they mistakenly assumed a waiter was on our wedding planner's team because he was just that helpful and knowledgeable! Talk about someone going above and beyond at their job.
It's very clear that Cutting Edge cares about its clients and will do whatever they can to make your "catering dreams" come true. We're so grateful to the entire team and hope we have a chance to work with them again in the future. Thank you, Cutting Edge, for all you did to make our wedding day amazing! -

Excellent!
Cutting edge CAME THROUGH!!!! I am so happy that my husband and I booked them for our wedding. Jessica was the one I was in communication with the most and she really made it so easy for me by answering every little question I had. Her responses were always so fast! Up to the day of my wedding jessica made me feel at ease with all of the efficient emails she had been sending me that when the day of the wedding came I felt 100 percent confident that they would perfect the day! My guest were raving about how amazing the food and drinks were and everyone loved Cameron the bartender because of his professional and friendly service. He was not shy with the drinks he was making for my guest! We are so happy with the service from cutting edge and will most definitely book with them again in the future! -

Truly had an amazing experience with Cutting Edge! Got married a few weeks ago and the attention to detail, service, and food was absolutely fantastic. Their staff is quick in regards to communication and service. Sugar especially was a hit amongst our guests and had such amazing positivity throughout the evening. The tasting was more food than we could've ever imagined and we left feeling happy and excited for the menu that we had selected. The appetizers were an absolute hit with guests during our cocktail hour and I will forever remember the insanely good tomato soup shooters and grilled cheese. Highly reccommend this company! They will work with you on price and make everything you want and need happen. xx -

Cutting Edge catered my daughter's wedding last Saturday and helped us with a backyard BBQ for a smaller crowd the next day. Their staff went above and beyond to make both events wonderful, organized, and stress-free for us. I got to focus on being Mother-of-the-Bride and the hostess instead of spending all of my time in the kitchen. And, best of all, everything was delicious! My apologies for the late post, but as a Wedding Specialist for The Westin Anaheim Resort, I had to get right back into the swing of things at work and didn't have time to post this well deserved review for Cutting Edge Catering! Now that I have a moment, I would like to firstly give a HUGE Thank you to Jeremy Michalski for his amazing responsiveness and attentiveness during the planning process. As a Covid Bride, there were a lot of obstacles that stood in the way of an amazing day and Jeremy assisted us through every step! He anticipated our needs, provided timely updates to our conversations and even accommodated some signature items to customize our dinner & bar menus!
I would also like to thank his staff and banquets team for their amazing hard work during our wedding. They all arrived polished and with BIG smiles, ready to help us celebrate our Special day. The bartenders were friendly and their drinks were superb! In addition, the service throughout the evening was flawless.
Now for the BEST part of the evening....the FOOD! We ordered the Platinum Package menu (this is the best value if you want a bar included) and had a plated selection of Short Ribs and Salmon. When we arrived at 2 pm for our first look, we could already smell the braised Short Ribs cooking and it was fantastic! The appetizers were hot and delicious (I HIGHLY recommend the Filet Wellington Bites) and the cheese display was beautiful. My Salmon entrée was perfectly cooked and the butter sauce was delightful! But the STAR of the show was the Short Ribs! I had guests coming up to me throughout the evening RAVING about our dinner saying it was the best wedding food they have ever had! The food was everything we dreamed of and I could not be more thankful to Cutting Edge for delivering above what my expectations were!
Sometimes in the wedding world, everything just falls in to place and you thank your lucky stars that you choose the right vendors to help you create an amazing day. That was what happened for us with Cutting Edge Catering. As a Wedding Industry Pro, I see so many times, vendors over promise and under deliver. And I am telling you from first hand experience, you will NOT regret this decision to hire Cutting Edge and I will recommend them to all of my friends, family and clients!

Jeremy and his team at Cutting Edge made our wedding what it was, no question. We had an absolutely flawless day thanks to them - they handled rentals for us, the entire bar as WELL as passed appetizers and a family style meal for almost 200. It was a massive undertaking and they handled every request, every email and every call with grace and professionalism. Our day went so well because they were so organized. We cannot thank them enough and are forever indebted to their fantastic customer service leading up to our wedding. -

Jeremy and his team were incredible to work with. He drove to the venue 5 days before the wedding to make sure the house was well equipped and talk out every detail before the big day. This meeting took away an immense amount of my anxiety for my big day. My mom and my mother in law were also able to ask all the questions we had and Jeremy very helpful to illustrate what he was going to execute. The day of the wedding went by seamlessly. They provided custom meals for my grandparents who have dietary restrictions including restrictions from sodium. My grandparents raved about their meals and didn't miss sodium from their diet at all.
We decided to do family style and I highly recommend it. We had a bunch of leftovers from dinner but they didn’t see the light of the next day! As the night went on everyone had at least 2nd helpings but most had 3rds or 4ths. Our families both agreed that this was the best food we’ve ever had catered. -

I'm so so impressed with Cutting Edge Catering and Jeremy that I don't even know where to begin with my review! Can I leave more than 5 stars? LOL
I was most excited about this company based on their reviews; contacted them right away and was very impressed that the owner called me directly! Jeremy listened to my needs and concerns and addressed them accordingly. I was then invited to a tasting - which was so much more than I would have ever expected. All the food was so good that it was hard to choose what we would serve at my daughters wedding. I knew right then and there that I wanted Cutting Edge to cater my daughters wedding and contracted them on the spot.
From that point forward Jeremy was overly accommodating, and yes, I AM "that client"; calling him several times throughout the months leading up to the wedding and even more text messages.
I was hosting the wedding (approx 160 guests) at my home and needed a lot of help and guidance which Jeremy gladly provided for me. He not only recommend rental companies, he played the middle man by contacting several of them and sending me their quotes. He also got me in contact with a wedding coordinator, who also knocked my socks off!
They visited the wedding site several times leading up to the wedding to go over all the details and set up for the big day, putting my mind at ease.
The wedding day was AMAZING! Jeremy and his crew were unbelievable from start to finish and the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS. The meats were cooked perfectly, the side dishes lived up to my expectations and all the food was HOT! The staff at Cutting Edge were professional, friendly and hard working. I not only give them my highest recommendation, I will gladly speak to anyone that wants more details - because I could go on for hours.
FABULOUS, FABULOUS, FABULOUS!!! Thank you again Jeremy for playing such an intricate part in making my daughters big day better than we could have ever hoped for! -

When I first encountered Cutting Edge Catering, I spoke with Jeremy who responded immediately. I wish I could put into words how AMAZING he was. He saw to it that our wedding day was PERFECT!!! I came to him with just 3 weeks til our wedding day after a horrible experience with another caterer. When deciding on a wedding caterer, Jeremy was extremely kind, patient and helpful with my many questions. I had no doubt he was who I wanted to work with as my wedding caterer. We signed a contract with him and gave him our deposit. We bought a plane ticket to fly out for our tasting and everything. About a week and a half after giving him our deposit (and buying our plane ticket), our reception venue fell through (3 months away from our wedding). Jeremy was again extremely helpful and accommodating with further questions regarding this. Unfortunately, we could not find a venue in that short of time that allowed us to bring in an outside caterer within our budget. We reached out to Jeremy and he again was nothing but kind and understanding of the ordeal. As promised, he refunded us our full deposit without question. It was such a relief in a very hard situation. I am so happy with his communication and honesty. Although I did not get the pleasure of working with him on my special day, I have no doubt he will follow through on everything he promises. Thank you Jeremy for being so kind, helpful and understanding through the entire process. -

Absolutely 100% recommended!!! We hired Cutting Edge for our 130 person wedding on New Year’s Eve and from start to finish we were continually surprised at their willingness to accommodate our every request!
Jeremy and his team went above and beyond at every step of the process and took a genuine interest in helping us get everything just right. From the tasting in Pasadena, to changing our minds about the menu a couple times, to helping secure a tent due to bad weather.
When the big day arrived, we were curious to see how everything would actually come together... We went with some passed apps during cocktail hour, the charcuterie platter, the buffet style pasta bar and their signature breadsticks. We also had open bar all night with two signature cocktails. Once again, Cutting Edge exceeded expectations and the food was fresh and delicious. Also, the servers and bartenders were fun, friendly, and stylish.
They did such a good job and Jeremy was so great to work with that I really can't recommend them enough!!!

Jeremy and his lovely family catered our wedding this August. Our venue was very unique- a boy scout camp out in the middle of the woods. We needed our potential caterer to be able to drive out down a narrow, one-lane, unpaved road and be able to spend the night in some barebones cabins. Jeremy was more than enthusiastic to adjust to these unconventional circumstances and really hit the ball out of the park. Super communicative, incredibly sweet and best of all, the food was amazing and affordable. Since Jeremy was so great at our difficult venue, I imagine he would kill it anywhere else! I would highly recommend Jeremy & Cutting Edge Catering to anyone looking for a great caterer for any occasion.Cutting Edge Catering's reply:

More than pleased with the service, presentation and taste!!!
Jeremy worked with us for my daughter's wedding reception. Time constraints did not permit a full sit-down dinner and people were free to roam around so we had a "grazing table". The presentation itself was amazing, but the food was outstanding. We had so many guests make wonderfully positive comments. We were so pleased with EVERYTHING!! -

TLDR: The food was excellent but there were issues after the fact.
We reached out to Cutting Edge Catering because they are a preferred vendor at our venue. In the beginning, working with their sales team was great as they were able to work with us on our budget and the menu my husband and I customized.
Included with our contract was a full china service. During our final phone meeting with Cutting Edge a few weeks before the wedding, their manager let us know that linens and chargers were not included in that service. That was expected and fine with us. Though Cutting Edge offers these rentals, we rented linens and chargers from a rental company I had worked with in the past because Cutting Edge’s prices were higher than the rental company’s prices. On the day of, the catering team failed to communicate with my coordinator about the rentals and they served dinner on the chargers we rented… despite being approached during dinner by the coordinator, my mom, and my bridesmaid, who all told them these were not plates for serving (we had all discussed it the night before at the rehearsal). So, we did not end up with a full china service as contracted.
We found out after the fact that a member of staff made a comment with a rude tone to our coordinator at one point during setup (which probably added to the lack of communication), but also that other rentals were mishandled by their team, which we were then billed for by the rental company for their misuse.
We brought these complaints to Cutting Edge immediately after the wedding to rectify the situation, but the manager I spoke to denied everything and tried to gaslight me by saying that the coordinator we hired “didn’t even know the plates were chargers” and that I was only listening to “one side of the story.” As I said, three people had brought the charger situation to their staff’s attention during the event, not just the coordinator.
Though the food was great on the day of, the lack of professionalism post-wedding has diminished our view of this company and we unfortunately could not recommend working with them.
Edit: All of these issues came to light after the wedding, obviously after having tipped the staff. Our coordinator is a professional and was in contact with this company at least twice between the wedding and my posting of this review in order to sort this out. Regardless of whether the chargers looked “ridiculous” under the plates is beside the point - the dinner plates weren’t used at all, which was contracted. I didn't mention the lateness my review because I reviewed our timeline after and it went fine. I already stated at the beginning of my review that I appreciated this company being willing to work with us on our budget, but it’s not true that they were “one of the only caterers” to do so. I am thankful that these issues did not get in the way of us having the wedding we've always dreamed of on the day of, but its unfortunate to be in this position now.Cutting Edge Catering's reply:

We have tried for the past week and a half to speak with your wedding coordinator, only to be ghosted and ignored by her, this is super unprofessional of your coordinator. Both owners and the service manager were willing and waiting to speak to your wedding coordinator to discuss the concerns that you brought up days after the wedding. May I kindly remind you both that you told the venue representative and our staff that everything was WONDERFUL, PERFECT and A DREAM COME TRUE the night of your wedding. You also tipped the staff on the night of your wedding, which would go against logic if you were dissatisfied with any of our services.
As the caterer, we deal with this miscommunication and issues like this all the time and if you're a potential client or bride reading this, please take note. It is VITAL that you hire a professional and vetted wedding coordinator, not just ask a friend or novice to step in and coordinate your wedding. All of the problems outlined here have to do with the wedding coordinator and not the food or service.
Brittney, each and every problem you are referring to in your review had 100% to do with your wedding coordinator and not with us or our team. We were very clear when we spoke with you last week (after your wedding) that our catering team walked into a room that your coordinator had already set up the entire dining room. The tablecloths, linen napkins (wrongly folded) and charger plates were already set on the tables and provided by your rental company. Our Day of Service Manager noticed the napkin fold was incorrect and our team went ahead and refolded all the napkins your coordinator mis-folded. Your charger plates looked nearly identical to a dinner plate. In fact, they were so close in color and size that when we tried after the meal to put one on top of the other it looked ridiculous and did not work at all. Your coordinator came up to our Manager when table 7 of 8 was being served and admitted that she did not realize that the chargers were in fact chargers, because they so closely resembled a 10 5/8 white dinner plate. (If anyone would like to see a picture of the setup comparing the charger plates to the dinner plates, we have pictures and are happy to provide them). She asked our Manager what they could do and our Manager informed her that it was already too late since 7 of the 8 tables had already been served. Both our Day of Service Manager and your Wedding Coordinator were friendly all night, and the Day of Service Manager (Mollie) was the only one that had any interaction with your Wedding Coordinator. So for her or you to claim Mollie was rude to her is another inaccurate accusation, one most likely made by your inexperienced coordinator friend to likely cover her lack of experience in executing a proper wedding timeline. In our call with you last week you also claimed the food was "AWESOME, but late", which is another inaccurate claim you made when speaking to one of the owners the week after your wedding. Your Wedding Coordinator informed Mollie that the dinner start time needed to be pushed back due to pictures taking longer then expected. We were ready to serve 15 minutes before the scheduled time and waited for the go ahead by your Wedding Coordinator.
I stand by our staff and customer service both before, during and after your event. We were one of the only caterers who was willing to work with your tight budget and give you some decent food and by your own admission the food quality was excellent. It's unfortunate that you hired a Wedding Coordinator that didn't have the professionalism to get on a call and sort things out, taking ownership of where she dropped the ball with the napkins, charges, timing of dinner service and more.
Regardless, we wish you and Cesar the very best in your new lives together and take comfort in knowing you received excellent food and service. Dozens of other clients rating 5 stars cannot all be wrong.
